This year's Sport and Recreation Awards in the region have been paused, with the future of the event under review.
Nuku Ora, formerly Sport Wellington, wants to review how the awards can better reflect the organisation's long term strategy.
In a letter to stakeholders, new boss Andrew Leslie says they want to quote: "reset and consult, to ensure we include our diverse range of stakeholders and communities in this process and to bring you all on the journey of change with us".
He joins Nick Mills live on Wellington Mornings.
