Wellington City Councillor applauds plans to scrap Let's Get Wellington Moving - Wellington Mornings with Nick Mills

A Wellington City Councillor's applauding National's new infrastructure policy, which would spell the end of Let's Get Wellington Moving.

The controversial multi-billion dollar transit plan would see cars scrapped from a number of centre city streets, in favour of greener options.

National's promising to scrap most of the controversial multi-billion dollar transit plan, including light rail, and removing cars from multiple CBD streets.

It plans to keep ideas around building a second Mount Victoria tunnel.

Wellington City Councillor Diane Calvert is openly against Let's Get Wellington Moving, and joins Nick Mills on Wellington Mornings.
