Transmission Gully's opening ceremony costs taxpayer $337,000 - Wellington Mornings with Nick Mills

Porirua's Mayor is livid over the cost of the ribbon cutting ceremony for Transmission Gully.
The 1.25 billion dollar motorway north of Wellington opened at the end of March after years of delays and budget blowouts.
Taxpayers picked up a bill of nearly 337-thousand dollars for costs associated with the opening, such as planning and equipment hire.
Anita Baker who attended the event says it's a waste of money.
