Speaker 1 (00:00):
It is my favorite time of the week. It's friend
Zone Friday. We heard from Travis. He's been crushing on
somebody and we want to see if we can help
him get set up on a date with his crush.
But first we had to get the lowdown.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
All right, Travis, yell set what's going on? Who do
you like? And how can we help?

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Oh? Well, I'm I'm calling out this girl named Kelsey.
She and I worked together in this accounting department at
a kind of a biggest company in our cubicles. They're
like right next to each other. We've worked side by
side for about two years, you know, and and you know,
my name's Travis, her name is Kelsey. So like it
just feels like it maybe is meant.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
To be not quite like Travis and Taylor, but Travis Kelsey. Yeah,
I mean that's actually done together a lot longer.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Yeah exactly, Okay, yeah, two years, you know, and we've
become really good friends. We lunched together a couple of
times week. We joke around all the time, we complain
about work together, and you know, when whenever one of
us needs needs help because we're buried, the other one's
the first one to like jump in and help. And

you know, honestly, Kelsey, She's she's one of the funniest
people I've ever met. She's she's really the biggest reason
I look forward to going to work every day, and
I find myself thinking about her a lot, like when
I'm not at work.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
She's responded really fast to my text here. Sometimes I
have to keep texting you. We have these little conversations beforehand,
and she's ready for something now, but she doesn't know what.
So if you're ready, let's call her unless you get
something else you want to.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Yeah, I mean, I think today's the day. Let's you know,
I have I've never been able to figure out if
she if she likes me back, and so I'd love
to I'd love to see no better way to do.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
It than on friend zoned baby. Yeah, let's do it,
all right, Let's call her up? Okay?

All right, So let's see if we can put Travis
and Kelsey together. Sounds that, but we do have somebody
on the phone that would like to say hi to you,
if that's cool. Okay, And you may already know what's
going out if you listen at all about me saying now,
but come out and say hi, man, Oh.

Hey, can't It's it's Travis from work.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
Travis, what are you doing?

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Well? Uh, you know, I I've been wanting to tell
you something for for a while, right, but I've been
a little a little shy about it, a little unsure,
and I realized, you know, like like we have a
great working relationship, and over the last couple of months,
I realized that that like you're sort of the highlight

of my day at work, that you're one of my
favorite people to see and I've been I kind of
have feelings for you, and I want to see if
I could maybe take you out on a date.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
And we'll pay for it. But here it came one

Speaker 3 (02:45):
It's kind of part of what we do here.

And if Hends maybe a little different, he may be
a little nervous.

because your names are Travis and Kelsey.

Oh okay, it must mean a lot to you.

I mean like, do you not have pictures up at work?
Or like do you not talking about your husband? By
the way, this isn't accused of time. I'm just kind
of wondering how he wouldn't know if because he seems
to know you so well for the last two years
of working.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
With you, he made us only you guys are really
good buddies.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Yeah, and you go to lunch.

Speaker 5 (04:27):
I really don't understand how this is possible. Like, I
don't get it. There's family photos all over my cubicle,
Like I talk about my kids constantly, like the kid's
soccer games, dancer titles, family vacations, gar and teacher conferences
and my husband?

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Do we hit the right do we have the right?
Kill you? Is this the right person?

Speaker 5 (04:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (04:52):
No, you do. I guess I just thought all those
stories were about like other people, not about your husband
or your kids.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
My husband is like literally my Facebook profile picture.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Use Facebook, okay, but in also my phone wallpaper.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
Oh my gosh, I have phoned. I have found the
male equivalent to Sam san Severe.

Speaker 5 (05:21):
How I'm supposed to go sit next to you after
all this? Like I feel like one of us has
to use move unerals now, could probably probably.

Speaker 2 (05:29):

Speaker 4 (05:31):
So before we go any further, Kelsey, this is a prank.

Kind of get him to save face a little bit
at work. But I don't know how to get you

Dude, all right, I mean honestly, he's a great guy. Like,
I'm not upset, I'm just like confused as to like
how he missed like sitting next to me every single day,
Like how he missed all those pictures and my stories
and whatnot.

Or at it look like you talk like you act
like you but aren't married for you.

Just look around, look around your office, check the cube,
