Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to another episode. I tell you what with our
special guest, Hi, car Peer, Charlie Pierce, Charlie, how are you?

Speaker 2 (00:09):
I'm so good. It's an exciting day of music in
my life.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Uh, deluxe version of Hummingbird is out. What makes it deluxe?
Is it like the leather seats or like, what makes it.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Deluxe the seats? It's the sun roof. You love a sunroof? No,
it's I wanted to. I felt like there were a
few more songs that needed to kind of tie up
this season, in this chapter in my life, and so
this is kind of, you know, a little bit more
music to bridge the gap to what's coming next.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
What's coming next?

Speaker 2 (00:45):
A lot of stuff.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Yeah, I don't want to wait for new music. I
want you just to tell me now. I won't tell
anybody I seen.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Yeah, I do press record for the world.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
So, hey, you're coming to Treasure Island. You're going to
be here Marchan, Minnesota. I mean the snow should almost
be done flying by that. We're looking forward to your show.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Yeah, that will be the first show of our US
Round two of the Hummingbird Tour. We just got back
from Europe and it was amazing. And yeah, I think
that fans can expect if they've been to one of
my shows, they know that it's kind of centered around
the storytelling in the songwriting. And I'm just really excited

(01:28):
to get to share this album, share these deluxe songs
and kind of tease some things that are coming.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
What do you want, your writer? Just so I know beforehand,
like anything like what kind of food, that kind of stuff?

Speaker 2 (01:40):
What do you think I want? What would be the
one thing that you would think I would want?

Speaker 1 (01:45):
A foot rub?

Speaker 2 (01:48):
I mean, honestly, that sounds pretty good. Wine.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Hello, Yeah, can you imagine really quickly if on my
writer I it was, it said foot rub.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Dude, put it on there.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
Yeah, try it.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
I'm really good at him. By the way, I like
to tickle, though, I like to kind of wake up.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
No, I have the come out.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
It makes me. I'm not one of those guys. No,
it just it makes everything after that feels so much better.
After you go through that first little.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Making it weird, You're you're making it.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
You're making it weird.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Don't do it.

Speaker 5 (02:28):
That's my job, Sam, I'll try I'll try to make
it a little less weird. You mentioned, of course, you're
the European part of your tour. And I'm so curious
because when you're traveling the world on tour like that
and you're going to all these different countries, I mean,
what was your favorite place that you visited and what
kind of things were you doing when you had days
off but we're out traveling internationally.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Oh my god, that's the longest question I've heard in
my life.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
Let her talk. He's just picking on me again.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
I liked it, thank you very much. A man. I
lived there for a month, which is the longest I've
ever been overseas, and it was very cold, but we did,
my band and I.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
We got out and we saw a lot of places
that I've never been, you know, places like Copenhagen and
Oslo and different parts of the UK. And truly, some
of my favorite things to do when I'm overseas is
just go walk around and see different amazing parts of
the world. So we had a great time wine.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
Probably yeah mine.

Speaker 5 (03:33):
Was there any place in particular that you don't think
you'll go back to because you maybe didn't like it as.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
Much, Not not as a tour stop, but I just.

Speaker 5 (03:40):
Mean, like maybe that you visited or didn't have a
good time when you were just having fun?

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Are you trying to get me in trouble that?

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Let's see? I mean maybe like I don't need to
go back to like Munich, Germany because it was really
cold and just brainy and whatever.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Yeah, that's the time of year probably, yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
But it would beautiful in the summertime.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
You know where you should go? Everybody, everybody should go,
even in the dead of winter. It was absolutely stunning.
Is Copenhagen When we.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Think of Copenhagen, we think of like tobacco in our mouths.
You're right, so yeah, that place? Is that what they mean? Yeah?
Why why Copenhagen? Like, why why there?

Speaker 2 (04:23):
It's just really beautiful, the architecture, the buildings, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
It was just a really pretty place.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
I hear. Amsterdam's awesome. Have you ever been there?

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Yeah that we went there as well. It's very cool.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
No stories.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
Chris just likes the hookers, would you please?

Speaker 2 (04:40):
He wants to go tickle fee.

Speaker 5 (04:44):
Everybody needs a friend Chrism to tickle their feet grows.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
You guys are really painting an awful picture that I know.
I started the painting, but you guys are like taking
the canvas and adding to it here, so.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
It's gonna be a t I and go up here.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Yeah, dude, I wonder if I'm doing your show, and
what if they have me scheduled downe there? I endorse
Treasure Island? Should I? We should tell them that maybe
I should stay fifty feet away from you down there?

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Honestly, I hope you're not. I hope you're not.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Just before we get too carried away, I'm a married
man of twenty two years and I'm very happy tickling
my own wife. Thank you very much. I want everyone
to know that I don't want the audience thinking something
something's going on here. So so let me ask you,
Carly in all serious now, do you haven't seriousness? Do
you have any other questions for us?

Speaker 2 (05:34):
I mean, do I have any other questions for you? Oh?

Speaker 1 (05:37):

I mean, this is like precious time ticking buys.

Speaker 2 (05:43):

Speaker 1 (05:47):

Speaker 5 (05:57):
Hey, Riba know, Carly, who's your favorite female artist other
than yourself.

Speaker 4 (06:03):

Ella Langley.

Speaker 4 (06:10):
