Glenn Phillips has bowled in a cricket test for the first time and returned figures of four for 53 from 16 overs in New Zealand's opening match against Bangladesh at Sylhet. 

Phillips removed two of Bangladesh's three left-handers in their top-six, taking the ball away.

The hosts are 310 for nine at stumps.
