Well it is. It's a great spot and there's a
Costco pretty nearby as well. You've probably been up there,
but a few bargains.

Seriously, I didn't even know that.

Where this is located was the original site for I
think it was the nineteen sixty three or sixty four
World's Fair, and there is still remnants of that event
over here. There is this massive unisphere, a huge, huge
globe that usually has fountains dancing around it, and there's

some rocket ships that would have been showing about, you know,
travels into space in the early sixties with the Gemini
rockets and things like that, So there are still traces
off that worldfare here.

All right, well, let's talk tennis. Now, we've put ourselves
on the met We know where we are with Google mets.
One of two Americans left on the lady side, Emma
Navarro going up against a Rena Seberlenka. So how do
you see that match going today?

One all is the head to head it is earlier
this year it was Emma Navarre at Indian Wells who
got the better of Sabolenka, and then Sabolenka turned tables
at Rodan Garas on the red clay over there. I
think that Navarro is the type of player that can
rattle Saberlenka. She's made incredible stroke over the last year.

This isn't actually really a breakout year for her. You know,
she's going to be in the top ten after this
US Open. So she's been playing incredible tennis. Most of
her colleagues or peers have made that same remark. So
I think it wouldn't well, let me put it this way,
it would not surprise me if Emma Radicano Emma Navarro

reaches the final.

All right, now, and the other second see me. The
other American lift is Jessica Pagula finally making a Grand
Slam semi and she's up against Carolina Muskiver, isn't.

She Yeah, seventh time lucky, I guess or lucky seven
for her because she had been yesterday with her seventh
time in the quarterfinals of a major, and she her
first thing, she said when she came into her post
match media conferences, nobody can now ask me why I
haven't reached the semi finals of a major. So and
that's yeah, obviously very correct, but yes, So she put

up a great effort against the Eagle schroon Tek played
a superb match and srion Tech was getting very frustrated,
a bit of racket slamming and all that. But Jessica
against carrying the Mukova they played just recently in Cincinnati.
Pergula won that in three sets. She commented it was
a tight one. She said she's really happy that Mukova

is back on tour after injuries, and she's a type
of player that she likes to watch. And Mukov says
that she's modeled her game on Roger Federer. You know
what I'm going to go with an all American women's final.

Wow Wow, And we could get that the main side
of things is going to be interesting. They've got a
day off today, so tomorrow number one seed Janick Centna
up against the brick Jack Draper.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Yep. Absolutely. And if it is, by the way, an
all American women's final, the last time that happened was
twenty seventeen when Sloan Stevens beating Madison Keys. Yeah. Now,
as far as and Draper concerned, to me, it's an
unusual friendship, but they are actually very close friends and
they actually support one another and can lean on one another.

And both of them have said that. So once one
nil is the is the rec head to head record
and that's in Draper's favor.

But that was before Yanick became Janick Sinner and it
was in different situations on grass at Queen's Club and
all that. This is totally about face on the hard
courts of New York. So I will go with Janick

but which Americans are going to be?

Francis Tiafa or Taylor Fritz two best friends, and Tiafa
is the practical joker, is what I say of men's tennis.
But these two get on like a house on fire.
And look, I don't know on this one. The head
to head is six to one in Fritz's favor, but

You know what, again, I'm going to go with Francis
