Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is Gary and Shannon and you're listening to KFI
A M six forty, the Gary and Shannon Show on
demand on the iHeartRadio app. This is a big Monks
and maryl thing. They have the shirts. I'm not as
in tune. They did like an hour on it or
something when it came out and they ordered shirts.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
It was a whole thing, and the and the TV
reporter is wearing it. Yeah, she'll move on their part.
I don't know if it's a shill.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
I mean, it's public transit. It's not like you're shilling
for you know, cocacoa big pharma. I just don't love
it as a choice because obviously ride the D. It's
trying to make metro sexy and sex cells and it's
trying to make that whole thing happen.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Somebody will have sex on the D train.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
That's oh yeah, self sex. I saw some self sex
on the Yellow Line. Gary Cold Line Up the Yellow
Line Live.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Everywhere on the iHeartRadio app Live and the Seller's Advantage
Studio Today.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
I'd like to before we get to our announcement, just
throw this out.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
There is breaking news. No, is it an important announcement?

Speaker 1 (01:06):
No? Okay, do you want to do that first?

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Well, okay, we'll do I just want to know what
to how to preface this football music football?

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Oh really, okay, all right, I can do that.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
So everybody knows that the schedule release of the season
comes out next week mid May. Okay, mid May is
what you're gonna get. That's what you're gonna hear. It
happens every year mid May. And you would think, you know,
we just talked about the draft, how it used to
be just a card table of a couple dudes in
Ohio and now it's this big production. Everything's a big

(01:41):
production in the NFL. Everything comes with a musical guest,
the lights, the all of it, the big drama treatment.
And we don't have a schedule release date, like a
firm date. This is like I guess they try to
create some sort of mystery around it. They just want
to keep it like this. Why not make a big
deal out of it, Make a date, make a big party.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Countdown, make a big thing.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Sure, I feel like the NFL is leaving some money
on the table here, to be honest, which is a
sentence I never thought I would say. But you know,
you know, nobody wants the NFL release date to come
more quickly than Mike Rabel and Diana Russini. I mean
they are, they're dying for this because there's a desert. Yes,

(02:27):
there is a draft of football news. All the draft
picks have been analyzed, we've gone through that, everyone's shown
up at the various facilities you're having their workouts. But like,
there's no news to be had. So this story, which
seems to be less of a CD tawdry affair and
more of like a relationship now that has been going

(02:48):
on for quite some time. There's nothing but this story,
and it's awful.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Did you see the family feud thing? Yes, that they
were playing a like an online version of family feud
during COVID, Yeah, just to get just to kind of
keep in connection, just to do something fun online because
we were all more of it was some sports show
and the question for this family feud game was something like,

(03:13):
what do you do with your eyes closed?

Speaker 4 (03:14):
Now?

Speaker 1 (03:15):
There are four boxes. It's like a zoom screen, right,
and there's four boxes, and two of the boxes are
Mike Rabil and Diana Russini and then two other of
the sports show hosts.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Right, And her response to the question was have sex
with your husband or something like that.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Your husband or wife, what do you do with your
eyes closed? And she said have sex with your husband
or wife? His little box. He's looking off to the
side and he just starts slowly shaking his head. It's like,
oh my god, God, but you know what I mean,
like this would be a nothing store. Everyone would have forgotten.
They would have moved on had the schedule come out.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Yes, and hopefully some team because we know that they
all try to do something that stands out on social
media very cool. Onbody makes a reference to it.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Well, they will the chargers. The charger of social media
team wins the schedule release every year. And that's not
me being biased, that's just a fact. You know, they're
going to do something with it.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Hey, coming out two weeks from today, two weeks, plenty
of time, two weeks. We're going to be live our
latest news and brews at our old stomping grounds, bravery brewing.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Up in Lancaster. Now, listen.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
We saw what happened in Menefee, okay, and a lot
of people were like, why are you going to Menefee,
It's so far away. Menifie came out Menafie showed up.
Menafie made a name for itself in our hearts.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
I thought you were gonna say Menefee made all our
dreams come true.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
I wouldn't go that far.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
I'd go halfway there.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
But there was a lot the things that we didn't
expect that turned out to be so spectacular in Menefee.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
How many years have we been going out to Bravery Brewing?
Because I have to check with Bart. I remember, I
think I remember getting the first email from Bart. We
were talking about Full Metal Jacket. We're talking about Arle
Ermie and he said something to the effective in the email, Hey,
I run this brewery up in Lancaster. Army ar Lee

(05:15):
Ermie is one of my partners. They started it together,
if I'm not mistaken, and he listens to your show
and you guys should come up here. And was that
email made all my dreams come true? I was like,
what that is so cool? And we got to get
up there. We got to get up there, and then
he died and we didn't get up there. And I
think it was the year after we started going up

(05:36):
there for a Memorial Day. So I want to say
we've been doing this for about seven seven, eight, he died.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
In twenty eighteen.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
We went there for the memorial Yeah, the huge memorial service. Yeah,
they did there for him, and I do believe it
was the next year, So this will be seven seven
years years going up there. They do a great job.
It's to kick off Memorial Day, huge military theme. They're
a bravery brewing. They're easy to get to right off
the freeway. Guys, the pizza kitchen award winning pizza award

(06:05):
winning beer because they make it, and they have all
the whole new line of ciders. They serve wine and whatever.
And I know it's nine in the morning, but listen,
you don't have to go just to drink, just go
to have fun, hang out. They got all kinds of stuff.
They have cool displays, they have all the beer, they
have all the wine. They have that pizza kitchen, which
is just incredible.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
They have the uniform that Arle Army wore in full
metal jacket in the tasting room as well. It's always
a great time. It's always a great crowd. Beautiful area too,
sun is always shining, it's never too hot. That backyard
is perfect unless.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
That you call it the backyard.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
I love you because it's like my second home. It's
a great it's held away from home.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
It's such an easy way to do this. So if
you're gonna go, we would love to see you out
there again. Bravery Brewing coming up Friday the twenty second,
So two weeks from today we do the show. Obviously
from nine to noon, we will stick around and we'll
record our weekend fixed podcast that you get to see
how we do that.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
So if you're there.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
In the building, that will be a special section that
only you get to see that we will record. We'll
post it later in the weekend, et cetera. But we'll
do that when we're there at Bravery Brewing. Coming up
for our next News and Bruce. Two weeks from today.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
This release of one hundred and sixty files related to
the sightings of UFOs released by the War Department. Is
this supposed to be a distraction from Iran? I think
that because it's working on me. I'm much more interested
in this as opposed to what we probably should be
focusing on, which was Iran's attack on three US Navy ships.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
Have you ever seen the videos of airplanes? The one
that I'm thinking of, there's a shot of an airplane
that appears to be kind of hovering in mid air
as it's coming in for a landing in Seattle at
Sea Tach Airport, and it's just an optical illusion because
of the way the camera is traveling in a different airplane. Obviously,

(08:50):
it's moving at such a speed and at a perfect
angle that it appears that that plane that's in the
picture isn't really moving. I feel like a lot of
what we've seen so far in these files and videos
that have been released today are things like that. And if,
for example, there's one that appears to show a helium balloon,

(09:12):
a milar helium filled balloon with the ribbon and everything that,
while it doesn't appear to be moving, can be explained
in much the same way. It's just the angle it's now.
I'm not saying that all of them are explained like that,
but it seems like some of them are super easy
to just ignore and dismiss.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
You are not alone. Sean Kirkpatrick is a physicist. Former
career intelligence officer led the War departments All Domain Anomaly
Resolution Officers Office. I can't read today, he said, he's
seen the government's records and believes there are no bombshell. See,
I can't. You know what I'm done reading, He says,

(09:51):
there's nothing there there. Oh, but this was something even
before President Trump I think ordered the release of this
in February. This was something they were working on just
to kind of let everybody know there's no they're there.
Although the people that are interested are not going to
take the War Department's word for it true.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
They would automatically assume that they're hiding something. And I
want my Defense Department, Department of War, whatever you want
to call it. I want them to investigate unexplained aerial
phenomena because I don't want the Chinese or the Russians
or you know, cold war ME doesn't want them having
technology that we can't explain or more importantly, we can't

(10:34):
defend ourselves against. So I want them to be able
to investigate this kind of thing.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
Wait, what do you mean by that that? What about
China getting a leg up on UFO information would give
them technology.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
Not that they have UFO information, that if there's an
orb that's flying through the you know, across the Pacific
at twenty five thousand miles an hour, I want to
be able to explain what that is, how it moves,
what's behind it, what capabilities it has, because I don't
want the Chinese to have that technology.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
Well, I mean that it's loaded a balloon over US
for what a couple months, and I think it was
just a balloon, and.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
Well it was a bloom with listening devices. It was
a balloon with a bunch of surveillance, and we just
let it happen and we just let it happen so dumb,
which was.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
Very low technology.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
Yeah, maybe we were looking for the high tech stuff
and ignoring the low tech stuff.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
But this is this is perfectly fine.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
What was it listening for that it doesn't already know
that they don't.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
I'm sure they have their own version of the NSA
that's doing some significant work, but I want the problem
is when you say they're releasing UFO files, the assumption
is they're going to have a list of alien creatures
that are being housed in a shipping container at area
fifty one. And that's not what any of this is

(11:54):
because if that were true, we would never see that information.
That's not going to that government's not going to release
that kind of stuff. The stuff they can't explain is
that a helium balloon? Is that a weird reflection off
the windscreen? I don't know.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
There are some people representative Anna Paulina Luna out of Florida,
so take this with a grain of salt, claims last
year she claimed to see evidence of interdimensional beings, accuse
the Pentagon of less than adequate transparency about the matter.
Jd Vance has declared he's obsessed with the UFO files,

(12:30):
saying that he has been trying to investigate or of
trying to find time to investigate Area fifty one since
he took office. He wants those files, and he believes
what most call alien sightings are actually glimpses of demonic figures.
What he apparently said to a podcaster, I've still got

(12:50):
three more years as vice president. I will get to
the bottom of the UFO files. Demonic figures. That's the
first I've heard of that one. Demons.

Speaker 3 (13:01):
I don't know what to say. I don't know what
to say.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
Jesus, Oh boy.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
Yeah, Jesus.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
I mean, if that's what we would need to fight
these if in fact that's what they were.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
So, I mean, listen, we all have our rights to
believe what we want to believe.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
Right, yes, ma'am.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
President Trump said that whatever happened yesterday, there were a
couple of strikes launched between Iran and the US and
the straight of hor moves. He referred to that as
a trifle. He said, they trifled with us. Today we
blew them away. I call that a trifle.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
You ever had drugs and see things? I mean, do
drugs and see things? Do drugs and sea things like
see little like tracers, demonic figures.

Speaker 2 (13:47):
No, I've never gotten that, or I've never done the
right stuff.

Speaker 3 (13:52):
How's that a fine?

Speaker 1 (13:53):
You've never seen a tree grow claus? No, now is
that what you saw? I mean, listen, we have a
big announcement coming up.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
We do, but you already did the announcement.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
I thought we're gonna do it all day long. Oh
if you're just gonna.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
Wear it out. But we got a big announcement.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
We're gonna be in two weeks live at Bravery Brewing
in Lancaster for our latest news and bruise to kick
off Memorial Day.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
And KFI p A is in the tank right now.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
Yeah, they will have this year's batch of kf I
p A brewed and ready to go.

Speaker 5 (14:34):
You're listening to Gary and Shannon on demand from KFI
AM six forty.

Speaker 1 (14:41):
We give a pretty good interview, I like to I
think so.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Yes, even an unprepared interview, we can probably proll.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
It all really well and you ask great questions. It
works well with the fact I do none of that.
Heather Brooker is here and you start.

Speaker 7 (14:58):
Let's start the interview with let's yeah, this.

Speaker 3 (15:09):
Is entertaining news.

Speaker 4 (15:13):
Heather joins us, Hi, good morning, Hi, we're a little
earlier than usual today.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
What a tree for us? What a tree for me?

Speaker 3 (15:19):
Breakfast time?

Speaker 6 (15:20):
Joy?

Speaker 3 (15:20):
This is oh, I love it.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
Heather's wearing her Ride the D shirt gays.

Speaker 4 (15:26):
Right, and I will be sharing it on the social
media everywhere. I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
That wasn't a pro husband, think when you leave the
house in the house and a shirt like that, the one.

Speaker 4 (15:35):
The one?

Speaker 1 (15:37):
What did you say?

Speaker 4 (15:38):
He goes, ha, oh, that's good.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
I like that. Good for him.

Speaker 4 (15:43):
Yeah, he was like, huh, that's good. I get it.
He's heard me say worse and wear much worse, like
you guys. I have a whole costume closet full of
clothes that I wear as an actor.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
At an actor and as at home at.

Speaker 4 (16:01):
Home wow, and just at home, I will wear something
walking out of the house like and maybe a nurse's
scrubtop or something easy to see me wear weird stuff, which,
by the way, one time we had a plumber come over.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
You did you no, no, no, we need we need sex
music for this. It's a plumber.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
So we had this plumber come over. Yeah, and my
husband was there at home. I was at work, and
you know, as an actor, we have a bunch of costumes.
There's wigs, there's successories, there's all kinds of stuff. I
have a whole drawer full of insane wig because I
used to be the Groundlings. All right, yeah, and uh
my husband was in the bathroom, I guess, and they
were looking at something in the plumber and one of

(16:40):
my wigs. The plumber goes, hey, is that a wig?
And my husband goes, yeah, my wife's an actor. And
he goes, sure's buddy, yeah, and gave one of these
and Chris was like, I have never felt so uncomfortable
having to explain, no, she really is an actor. And
he goes and then I felt like I needed to
give your resume.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
And like, don't protest too much. Yeaheah.

Speaker 4 (17:03):
And the guy was like, sure, buddy, Yeah, my wife's
an actor too.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
Oh my god, that's so great. So did they look up?

Speaker 4 (17:12):
They did?

Speaker 1 (17:12):
Okay, good, what you didn't see where that starts with devil?

Speaker 3 (17:16):
Where's product too? Came out? Shannon saw it. I want
to hear it all before you start.

Speaker 5 (17:21):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (17:22):
I was literally invited to go watch this movie.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
Okay, bye, It's not like it was a friend, it's
not like it's the Vagina Monologues or whatever. It's a
it's a they're not going to make you wear product,
wide release movie that most people enjoy. Did you go
see it?

Speaker 4 (17:45):
What just happened? Oh my god, you guys have been
drinking already. No way, not okay.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
So I saw it. I thought it was perfect. Listen.
I didn't go expecting a cinematic treasure. All right, you
know what, I'd loved about it, And you had made
mention that and we're not spoiling anything here, but you
had made mention that the way that Miranda treats Andy
was ridiculous because and I'm just paraphrasing what you said,

(18:14):
because of and it's twenty years later. Andy's gone out
in the world and she's experiencing she's a successful journalist.
Why doesn't she get respect? And I thought that was
a vehicle to show that Miranda still doesn't value Andy
because Andy is an altruist who survives by not making money.

(18:35):
She's a journalist. And Anna went, I mean Miranda is
seated in what makes money and what makes the wheels
kind of churn when it comes to commerce in this world,
and that Andy still doesn't get it, like, all, how,
bless your heart, you're a journalist, you still don't get
how mommy and daddy make the money around here. And

(18:56):
then it was such a good kind of full circle
when throughout the movie Miranda sees the value in journalism
and what it can do and how these two worlds
can work together and nobody's values are compromised. Right, So, like,
I thought that was really well done.

Speaker 4 (19:13):
You know, what did you think about them making Miranda
more of like, I don't want to say fumbling, but
there was that moment with the coat where she's like,
doesn't know how to hang up her own coat.

Speaker 1 (19:25):
I didn't like that moment.

Speaker 4 (19:27):
I wondered if you how you felt about that, because
it was I think meant to be comedic. But people
were like, Miranda would never.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
Miranda would never. She would throw the coat on the
floor before she hung it up. And the reason I
didn't like that moment is because it made her look old.

Speaker 4 (19:42):
Yes, that's what I thought. I was like, she's not
inept or old, she just wouldn't do that.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
And can we talk about how Meryl Streep looks better
twenty years after my god, everything, her body, her bone, structure.

Speaker 4 (19:56):
I don't know what deal she made with the devil,
but I would like.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
It was death becomes her. It was death becomes or
she took the potion in nineteen ninety two. You're right
she did. I'm so glad her aunt, Goldie Hawn they
both took the f and potion. Man.

Speaker 4 (20:10):
Well, I'm so glad that you liked it. There's it's
been interesting to see online because some people are like, oh,
this wasn't like the original, and I'm like, well, it's
not going to be like the original. There were moments
where I wish Andy had evolved a little bit more.
A lot of people felt like the love story for
her wasn't deaf.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
They were so unnecessary. That was my only Joe and I, Joe,
Quanta and I went to see it on Wednesday. We
walked out in our first thing, Well, we've looked at
each other and I'm not ruining anything because the writing
was no bin in that part that plot, you know,
journey was when they're like, let's just be not perfect
together and I just wanted to find a bullet, you know,

(20:48):
give me the gun. And Joe and I looked at
each other's rolled our eyes and then as we're walking out.
The first thing we said to each other was that
was such an unnecessary waste of time.

Speaker 4 (20:58):
Yeah, they didn't need to do that, and I think
that as a general consensus, she didn't. Can she not
just be single in her forties and a career woman,
because like, it isn't like you have to have love
or have to have an attachment to be I.

Speaker 1 (21:09):
Think it was like this weird, this is what dating's
like when you're forty five.

Speaker 4 (21:12):
Yeah, and this is the dude. This is the guy,
you know what I mean. People were riding on him
and I'm like, oh, he's charming. He is a sweet
you know, charming. He was fine, He was fine, But yeah,
it wasn't.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
A movie star. He was just a normal dude.

Speaker 4 (21:24):
A normal dude.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (21:25):
Well, I'm glad you saw it, and I'm glad you
liked it. I think it's still doing huge numbers at
the box office. People are loving it.

Speaker 5 (21:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:32):
The Emily Blunt twist was kind of fun.

Speaker 4 (21:36):
Yes, that was fun.

Speaker 6 (21:37):
You know.

Speaker 4 (21:38):
Did you like the ending with I know you have
to go to ring? Oh my god, Okay, let's go
to bring I'll talk about it.

Speaker 3 (21:42):
Is there anything coming up this weekend? That's gonna knock
it off.

Speaker 4 (21:45):
I don't think so. I mean, Mortal Mortal Kombat, which
we can talk about when you come back, is coming
out this weekend, But I don't think so. I think
it's going to keep doing well.

Speaker 1 (21:53):
I just read an article in People by the Way
with those three women Merrill and Anne and Emily and
Anne Hathaways sime out. When she did the first movie,
she was twenty two. She was a mess. She didn't
know what she wanted in life. She's like and that
reflected that, and you can see definitely the difference in
her characters now versus then. Yes and then Also it

(22:13):
was kind of a cool article because they talked about
cutting remarks made by a superior when you're young and
how you remember those your whole career. They can have
a huge theory, right, Like we can all look back
to the time when we were in her early twenties
and a boss said something new us and you're like,
or anybody's yeah.

Speaker 4 (22:31):
But now when it happens, I feel like you can
just kind of go okay.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
Whatever.

Speaker 5 (22:37):
You're listening to Gary and Shannon on Demand from KFI
AM six forty.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
Feather Brooker is with us for the Weekend Entertainment Report. Hello, Hello,
some fun movie. Wait, Gary got distracted with Stara Larson.

Speaker 3 (22:52):
Zarah Larson's on the Today Show Today Jay rating, Do you.

Speaker 1 (22:55):
Need a moment? No, it's I don't what don't you what?

Speaker 4 (23:00):
It's just it's just like, good morning, here's my boobs, here's.

Speaker 3 (23:03):
All of it. Here's all of it.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
You can't really see any enough.

Speaker 4 (23:08):
Are you excited for Mortal Kombat too? Are you a
Mortal Kombat guys?

Speaker 3 (23:12):
I never got into that. That was a game that
was never played it.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
I had roommates, we all played it, but it was
it wasn't something that struck me to the point where
I needed.

Speaker 1 (23:20):
To finish it.

Speaker 3 (23:21):
Continue the story journey.

Speaker 4 (23:25):
You don't need a deeper dive into the journey. Well,
this one is coming out and it is sort of
an extension of the first one that came out in
twenty twenty one. A lot of fans at the time,
Mortal Kombat is basically a video game that is about
a deadly fight. I mean, you know, that's literally the
whole thing is Mortal finish them and pull the spine
out of the guy and all that sort of stuff.

(23:45):
So when the first movie came out, they didn't really
have the big epic fight and people fans were like, wait,
where's the combat part of this right? But now apparently
they've gone way overboard and like it's all just fight fight, fight, fight, fight,
and there is lots of the big tournament that everyone's
excited about. They say, this story is a little bit
of a mess. There's too many characters. It's a big
ensemble piece. But if you like the Mortal Kombat games,

(24:08):
if you like this world, you'll definitely enjoy this movie.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
I saw a trailer, actually it was before Devil, Where's
Proud of Too? About the Billie Eilish concert film, And
I saw a quote from her recently talking about people
altering their face as they age, and she said that
she does not want to ever do that because she

(24:32):
wants her kids to be able to look at her
face and see themselves in it. And it's a good
way to put it.

Speaker 4 (24:39):
I think that that is aspirational. I think that maybe
when she hits fifty and how the hot pressures of
Hollywood in the music industry hit hery a little bit,
she might change. That's true because I also have been
like very staunchly like I don't really want to do that,
you know, just because I can't afford it. No, I
don't really want to do you know. But I you

(25:00):
start to get older and you start to see things
in your flaws and you're like, well, maybe I do
a little something. Maybe I try a little something. We'll
see how that changes.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
Zero wrinkles.

Speaker 4 (25:08):
Oh my god, it's because a I'm a fat pushes
it out. I have natural fat that pushes out my wrinkles.

Speaker 6 (25:14):
Now.

Speaker 4 (25:15):
But this movie, You Guys, is directed co directed by
James Cameron and Billie Eilish, So this is like the
first time ever that two Oscar winners are directing a
movie together.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
James Cameron, has he done a concert film before?

Speaker 3 (25:28):
You're gonna? I thought You're gonna ask, has he done
anything before?

Speaker 4 (25:30):
Or what's that guy done? I don't think so, not
that I know of. But this apparently the whole film
really centers between his h and hers, like I don't
want to say relationship, but he's really the only one
in the movies she talks to. The rest of it
is either her talking to the camera and sort of
narrating her experiences in the tour and then just interacting

(25:54):
with James Cameron. She doesn't really interact with anybody else
in the film, so it's a you know, this her
third concert film, So.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
I'm fascinated by her. Yeah, I don't know enough. I
don't I know a little. You know, she makes music
at her parents' house with her brother and how its not.

Speaker 4 (26:09):
This is the first tour she's done without yeah, without Phineas.
This is a this is her on her own. But
she started as a dancer. Sorry, go ahead, No, I
didn't know that either. Yeah, she used to be a dancer.
That's what she originally was going to do. And then
when she was about thirteen or fourteen, her dance instructor
said knew that she also sang, and was like, hey,
would you and your brother like want to create just

(26:30):
like a song to dance to, you know, a track
for our group, And they did and it went crazy
viral on SoundCloud, and that's how she started her music
of dance. I think she did lyrical Okay, I think
that makes sense if you were going to I think
my song for that. Yeah, she probably did a little
bit of everything.

Speaker 1 (26:46):
I mean. In contrary to Gary's issue with Larsen on
the Today Show or whatever, in her showing a lot,
a lot, a lot. Billie Eilish famously has shown nothing nothing.

Speaker 4 (26:59):
She likes to wear her long, baggy shorts and jerseys,
and you know, she's not overly sexualized. It's sort of
the antithesis of a lot of other pop charts to
me like that, Yeah, it's the antithesis for sure. Another
movie you want to mention quickly is Influenced If you guys,
go and see that. It's skewers mom influencers and I
sort of love this. It stars Jill Cargman. She used

(27:19):
to have a show called Odd Mom Out. And I
know so many of the people in this world that
I sort of love it.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
I know, I.

Speaker 4 (27:30):
Sort of love that there's a little bit of skeuring
happening because some of it is so ridiculous, the idea
of people using their kids to make money and desperately
trying to get a following online and it's sort of
the new mommy bloggers. Is these mom influencers on social media.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 4 (27:45):
Yeah, So it's gonna it's a really funny skewering of
this mom influencer world.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
I can't wait to see that Sunday on your show.

Speaker 4 (27:53):
Yeah, Sunday on KFI Live, We're gonna do a deeper
dive with supervisor Janis Hahn and DA Nathan Hackman on
the story that came out this week about Turner's Outdoorsman
and having one of the largest sales of guns involved
in crime in the state. We're going to do talk
to them a little bit about that, and then we're
going to talk about save the Cinema. You guys, the

(28:14):
Cineramadome has been sitting empty for years and for the
first time in years, they're going to have a public
hearing on Tuesday. We're going to preview that and what
they're going to be talking about and what may be
the future of the Cineramadome.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
Wow, very cool. You did such a great job on
that show. I appreciate that. And Happy Mother's Day.

Speaker 4 (28:30):
Thank you so much and I'll see you guys. Am
I talking to you later for the d or No
are we doing d No pressure, No, okay, you have.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
To ride the d on Monks and Meryl.

Speaker 4 (28:41):
All right, I love you guys.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
Gary and Shannon will continue right after this.
