there was a conference going on. A convention called the
Adult Novelty Manufacturer's Expo. It's basically any adult novelties, if
you will, toys for adults that are of the sexual nature.
This is where all of the companies that create them
gather and they you know, the people who are the

distributors and everybody, they all gather and do business together.

Tech Hour Last Hour there's a product from that was
in uh at and May about three four years ago.
That one product of the Year at CEES it was
a sexual health and wellness product.

These products may Yeah, they're becoming much more mainstream.

The Internet obviously has a huge impact on that, and
we'll get into a lot of the laws that are surrounding,

thing with. Now you have that same feeling material that
they use for that. And now we've been seeing advancements
in robotics and AI. You can bine all three of those.
That's the future of the industry. You're going to start
seeing humanoid sex partners relatively soon with the.

Yeah, you can have the personality be just about any
fictional character that you want or have the kind of
personality type that you want to have. And there's a

on top of what's happening as far as like the

to have that become something that actually repped locates sexual interaction. Okay,

I'm speechless. Also, I wanted to talk about this one toy.
It's a shower head. Oh yeah, because we talked about
it in the hallway. But Christmas is kind of almost
around the corner, So go ahead, just sell some shower heads. Yeah, womanizer.
They there was research done. Somebody actually did academic research

on people reaching sexual pleasure in their showers using you know,
various attachments in the shower, and one of they tried
going to one of the companies that make shower heads,
and they said, now, we're not going to associate our
name with any you know, sexual devices like that, anything
that could be considered obscene. So they went to a
manufacturer of products for women called Womanizer, and they created

the light there, but it's one that has multiple functions.

This seems like it's all these products are geared to
removing the human element where you don't need an actual partners.
It's more than just a device. It's also mimicking the
presence of someone absolutely.

And most of the products, especially when you walk around there,
you're gonna notice that it's for products for people who
are owners of vaginas they are. It's for people who
are looking to insert something for pleasure. There's also products
out there for you know, people wanting to stick it
in the other hole. There's a bunch of those products

in their ear, yes, exactly, very horogenous zone. But nowadays
you're starting to see more products out there that are
designed for men, because typically before guys all they just
needed were their hands and they were fine. But now
there's a lot more products that are meant for men
trying to reach that like a different level of pleasure,
and most of them are ones that they replicate and

simulate actual like touch, tactile feel of human touch, and
it does. We were talking about it earlier before the
show how a lot of these products were running theme
with a lot of this is like people are now
isolating more so that they don't need to have human
interaction with each other because they're getting their pleasure through
these devices.

There's a serious point to be made because sometimes I
think that we are seeking to be alone, in other words,
not deal with the complicated aspects of a relationship.

thing of let's go out to dinner, let's have an
hour conversation. Maybe you're in the mood, maybe you know

Well, and part of what contributed to it was the pandemic.
A lot of people had to isolate, so more products
were being designed for people to be able to actually
enjoy sex and sexuality, even if it was just by themselves.

This one is about one hundred and fifty bucks.

They have versions of it that are way more advanced
and have a lot more functions and features to it.

But also this devices like this.

When I saw the one that's similar to this but
had the jack in the back to be able to
put the phone or to put your headphones on it,
it went back to a lot of what we were
talking about about AI and sex and sexuality, where these
products and these devices. There was a company that I
spoke to, cal Exotics, that had lifelike feeling twerking butt
(14:32):
that had openings for people for guys to do their
thing with. Now you have that same feeling material that
they use for that. And now we've been seeing advancements
in robotics and AI. You can bine all three of those.
That's the future of the industry. You're going to start
seeing humanoid sex partners relatively soon with the.

Whole complement of AI and personalities and.
Speaker 4 (14:58):
Yeah, you can have the personality be just about any
fictional character that you want or have the kind of
personality type that you want to have. And there's a
video your yeah, yeah, no, there's a there's a video
I took at the show of a life size doll
that had some of the robotics to it, and all
it was doing was it was leaning up against a chair.

And that was Now, if you put AI, that's a robot,
that's a robot. If you put AI into it where
you actually have human interface, like you know, the AI interface.

I would have been, I would have been real and
pre path. But there were like that's where a lot
of this is going.

And I talked to a lot of the manufacturers and
the designers of these products, and they're all very much
on top of what's happening as far as like the
stories of like people marrying their AI and they're just
having sexual text relationships with them. Now you're actually starting
to have that become something that actually repped locates sexual interaction. Okay,

I'm speechless. Also, I wanted to talk about this one toy.
It's a shower head. Oh yeah, because we talked about
it in the hallway. But Christmas is kind of almost
around the corner, So go ahead, just sell some shower heads. Yeah, womanizer.
They there was research done. Somebody actually did academic research
(16:24):
on people reaching sexual pleasure in their showers using you know,
various attachments in the shower, and one of they tried
going to one of the companies that make shower heads,
and they said, now, we're not going to associate our
name with any you know, sexual devices like that, anything
that could be considered obscene. So they went to a
manufacturer of products for women called Womanizer, and they created

a shower head that's kind of hard to see in
the light there, but it's one that has multiple functions.

Actually here there, let's go to Carnaci's camera. It has
multiple functions. You get a lot of different action out
of it. It's women out there. This is the kind
of thing. I saw it and I was like, I
want to pick this up for putting it in my shower,
because this is the kind of thing that women lose
their mind over.

I have a bunch of other products that, but.

This is what that makes it special to the best
of your knowledge, because you can get an elaborate shower
head with different oscillations and pulsations at any basic store.

Oh yeah, but this one is specifically designed ergonomically so
that you can get a lot of different like focacles ankles,
but also different focal points where the pressure of the
water is going to be going so for people who
prefer clinical stimulation, this is going to be right on
top of it.

That's a little too specific, but that's I know, but hey,
it's a clinical term.

Also there's a bunch of them that really did a
uh they went out of their way to show me
how a lot of these products worked and they were

And also there's a lot of politics going on. Texas
is coming up with a lot of laws currently there's
one in the House in Texas and one in the
Senate in Texas where they're trying to ban well no
to regulate it. And ultimately those the organizations that are
funding those movements are usually companied like our religious groups

that are trying to destroy the industry.

So this is all stuff that they are There's a
lot of politics and it's heating up.

So this is something that I personally am keeping my
eye on because with the bag that I just came
in here today, if I were to go driving through
Texas and get pulled over for speeding and they see
that bag, I'm going to prison for distributing sex toys.
