And they just recently added a feature where it sinks
with Google Photos, so you can create an album in
Google Photos and whatever you add to that, it'll automatically
add to your picture frame, which is great. Let's see
what else? Oh, a portable sand disc phone drive. So

this is like a USB drive that you can plug
into your phone and then download your pictures. Kindle and
rounding out the top ten, the AirPods Pro three. These
are at their lowest price I've ever seen, and they
were sold out for a long time on Amazon yesterday,
so let's see if they're back in stock. But they
were like one hundred and seventy something dollars, so that's

pretty good for AirPod pro which are usually two fifty.

Okay, tell me about that. The thing that you can
plug in and download your photos, is it the sand disk.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
Yeah, this is These little flask drives are very popular.
People either don't want to pay more for the cloud,
or they just want to back up their photos without
using the cloud, or they're out of space and they
want to free up space. So you can plug this
into the bottom of your phone. And sand Disc actually
makes some pretty good software. That's why I like their product.

Or you can back up photos directly to this device
and it will help you do that. Otherwise you can
do it manually through the iPhone. There's a feature that
lets you export your photos as well. It's a little trickier,
but I do have instructions on my website. I kind
of have a walk through there. But this is probably
one of the most popular things. I will just preface
that with If you're going to download your photos from
your iPhone or you're Android to some sort of flash

drive or hard drive, you also need to make sure
they're in some of their location. Because let's say delete
them off your phone, you lose the flash drive. Now
what Now you're out of luck. So either put them
somewhere else. If you're on Amazon Prime Member, you can
get free unlimited photo storage through the Amazon Photos App.
Don't forget about that.

So I had a question for you about the price
drops because a lot of the stuff that I'm watching
right now, it hasn't dropped, but that doesn't mean it's
not going to in the next couple of days.

Correct. My wife and I last night were chatting. We
put all of our stuff always in the shopping cart
and you just kind of watch it or you put
it in your save for later. And so no matter what,
you've got four days here, three more days left, So
you've got Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Things go on sale throughout
the day. And so last night we were sitting there
and my wife, you know, she's buying like sweatpants for

the kids or something, and she's like, this is so
funny that these weren't on sale this morning, and now
they're on sale right now. So things change throughout the
shopping event because you know, manufacturers want to keep it exciting. Obviously,
they want to keep you coming back to the website
multiple times to check pricing, so things do go on
sale at different times. Amazon releases limited time deals three

times a day midnight eight am, which is coming up
soon eight am Pacific, and then one pm Pacific, So
just keep in mind, put your stuff in the cart
that you want, and then just check the price throughout
the day.

I'm going to put aside my wordlind Quirdal and just
play on Amazon for the next couple of days. Okay,
So now I'm going to talk to you about Siri,
because Siri and I have a very contentious relationship.

She doesn't work for me ever, but apparently that's changing.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
I mean, this is I'm telling you, this is the
single biggest change I've ever seen on the iPhone since
I've been covering it since day one. Siri AI when
it comes out in September. I've been playing with it
on the developer version, so I've got like early access.
It is absolutely incredible. I'll give you an example. Yesterday,
we are trying to buy some patio coverings, right, and

I needed to figure out how much of this covering
I needed to purchase. And so without doing anything, all
I did was I had the home depot site up
and I asked Siri, based on the square footage of
our deck, you know whatever it is, how many of
these do I need to buy? It looked at my screen,
It knew what I was buying, It knew it understood
my question, and it said you need to buy four

of these, and it did all the math in the
you know, behind the scenes. So that's the kind of powerful. Yesterday,
I need a phone number for someone, it can search
your text messages for that phone number. I mean, it's
really truly incredible. You know, if they text you that information, right,
so someone texts you a recommendation, it's just gotten so
good now, I mean, people are really going to it's

going to take time for people to start using Siri
again in a powerful way, the way they use CHATGBT,
except not only to have the world's information, it also
now has all of your personal information. I know that
sounds scary, but it's all being done in a very
private way, which I think is another advantage Apple has
over Google and chat, CBT and Claude.

Okay, you have so many more topics that I want
to talk about, but we don't have time. But we
do have time to talk about Toy Story five because
this iteration of Toy Story deals with technology, and that's
where you come in.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
I love the premise kids are spending way too much
time on their tablets. It's sucking up all their time,
taking up their entire lives, all that group chat stuff
with the you know friends. I thought it was very cute.
I thought that the execution was a little bit like
there was no real resolution to me, like is tech bad?
Is tech good? What should kids be doing? Should they
be playing with her toys more? I'm not really sure.

I thought the ride was fun. There's a lot of
fun little moments, and if you're you know, if you
think it's ironic how much technology plays a role in
our lives and especially our kids' lives, it's fun to
see that. I don't necessarily think you have to go
see in the theater. I think that when it comes
out on Disney Plus in a couple months, you'll be fine.
But obviously it's a summer kids want to go to
the movies. Parents want them entertained. It's a fine movie.

You know, I will tell you there's a little cheering
up which I did not expect.
