All right, I want to explain a little bit about
the President saying he is going to nationalize the votes,
(01:26):
that he's going to take over the voting, and he's
going to say the US government is going to take
over voting. And it gets really interesting because, of course,
the Constitution says the states will decide how when and
voting takes place and the parameters and whatever safeguards. Now,
there is something in which the president can hang his
(01:48):
hat on, and that is the law says that the
states much make reasonable attempts to make sure that voters
are correct, that US citizens are voting. And so a
story out of CNN that it was a woman, Sophia
(02:09):
Minatti who got the letter saying she's going to be
dropped from the voting roles in thirty days unless she
proved her US citizenship, which she was able to do. Now,
Minoti is among dozens of US citizens in Texas to
have been ensnarred in this massive drive by the Trump
administration to search for immigrants and other ineligible voters on
(02:34):
state roles, arguing that only American citizens can vote, which
is true, and therefore they are finding people who are
not and massive fraud is being committed. And he said
that during the twenty twenty election in which he lost,
that it was millions of illegal aliens that in fact voted,
(02:57):
and therefore he lost because all illegal migrants who do
vote illegally vote for Democrats. Okay, So, Texas is one
of a dozen states using a federal database that was
overhauled last year to verify voter citizenship, and so they
(03:18):
flagged people with problems, and they flagged point zero zero
zero three percent of the queries nationwide, and one Republican
election official said that the vast majority of voters in
the state flagged by the system turned out to be
citizens after the Feds in fact investigated. Now there is
(03:44):
one person who was asked about this, or a person
among others that were interviewed by CNN saying this federal
databases in which illegal migrants somehow are registered to vote,
or that's where they find simply aren't up to date,
They're not accurate, and the last thing we want to
do is disenfranchise eligible voters. Well, the president is convinced
(04:09):
that everybody who voted Democrat, particularly in those six swing states,
were illegal migrants to a great degree. He has said
that that's why he lost the election, because it was
fraud and illegal voting.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
And he has vowed to nationalize the election.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
And has actually launched several efforts to insert the federal
government into state functions, voting functions. And let me tell you,
some states are worried, sick about whether the exercise exercise
of flagging these non citizens will now provide the administration
(04:52):
a tool to challenge the entire midterm election cycle. He
is going to argue, I guarantee you, he is going
to argue there is massive fraud going on. The states
are allowing non citizens to vote illegally. And of course
(05:14):
this is only going to be Democrat led states, because
there's this thing as fraud in Republican states that doesn't exist.
The only fraud that exists is among Democrat states. And
they're going to find some fraud. I guarantee you they
will find some fraud. They will find a case here,
(05:35):
a case there. And this is like Christinome arguing we're
only going after the worst of the worst. And as
a poster child, she brings up someone who is illegal,
who is across the border a bunch of times illegally,
who has committed some heinous crime, proof positive that illegal.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
Migrants commit crimes.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
Even though as if you compare them to the general
population per capita, far less of the criminal activity.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
So they'll find something. They will find it, There's no question,
matter of fact.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
The first time around, I think attacking the twenty twenty election,
if you remember the attack made by the Trump administration
or at that time, the Trump non administration, argued that
the fraud was so extensive that it's really a landside
landslide victory for Donald Trump in the twenty twenty election
(06:32):
that he lost. Landslide victory is what he used. And
I think they brought up three cases that fraud committed.
Now keep in mind, one hundred and thirty million people vote,
one hundred and forty million people vote, and you think
they're going to find one or two or three. And
by the way, I'm not exaggerating when you're talking about
(06:54):
half a dozen that they find. And what happens if
if the administration does establish there is fraud based on
what he is arguing, and then come the mid term elections,
who he's going to say we cannot have midterm elections
because of the fraud.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
We have to redo how we vote.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
No midterm elections pending redrafting, drafting and re recreate and
recreating how.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
The elections are going to be held.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
And if you don't think it's possible, look what happened
during the twenty twenty election. There was lawsuit after lawsuit
after lawsuit filed to undo the election, to call the
election illegal because of the fraud that was committed. And incidentally,
I want to make a point here. Those lawsuits were
(07:48):
filed in all of the swing states and went to
they went to the federal cases. They were state cases,
there were appeals cases.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
There was one.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
Supreme Court case, but that was just a technicality. Sixty
three judges ruled that there was no fraud. Every single
case that was filed. Everyone the judge says, said no fraud.
The president still says fraud, fraud, fraud. Effectively, I don't
(08:19):
care what the courts say. If it looks like the
way it's going and it were to be held today,
for example, the Republicans would be creamed, they would get
their clock claimed, and the Democrats are going to win
I mean seats massively. And the president is trying to
stop that, clearly. And how does he stop that? Well,
(08:43):
what he does is nationalize the elections. How does he
nationalize the election? He argues that elections in swing states
and Democrat states for example, are fraudulent, not Republican states.
There's no singers fraud in Republican states. It's Democrat states.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
He lost.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
And there's the fraud that was committed. What fraud. Illegal
migrants are registered to vote in these states and they
vote and caused him to lose the election in twenty twenty.
And the under federal law of the state does have
the federal government does have the ability to make sure
that illegal migrants do not vote. And so, okay, fraud
(09:28):
has been committed. And now there are what the Trump
has said, We want all the states to give us
the information on their voter roles, give it to the Feds,
and we will determine. We have avenues, we have programs
to make sure that only citizens vote. The states, by
the way, are they do a lot of stuff to
(09:50):
do that. Already, the states that use data on people
have moved from the US Postal Service, motor vehicle agencies,
reports on people who from state and federal sources, all
of which the President says are part and parcel of
the fraud. And here's the Trump administration saying that state
(10:12):
lists covering more than two hundred million registered voters should
be error free to preserve election integrity, and they clearly
are not now, which means the federal government is the
one is the only agency that can make that determination.
Assistant US Attorney har Meet Dylan said in a video,
(10:34):
even one person voting who shouldn't have voted is one
too many, And the argument is, if one person voting
should not have voting, the entire system is flawed and
should be taken over by the government because only the
government can make sure not one person voting should should
not vote. And so the administration is expanding this same
(11:00):
program linking to Social Security US passport data and states
can move into that can use that data for free
and democratic led states are simply not participating. However, all
the states so far have made fifty nine million voter
verification queries. SAVE has flagged eighteen thousand suspected non citizens.
(11:26):
Suspected non citizens the fast vast majority are citizens. Republican
election chief saying SAVE is just another useful way to
check their state voter roles, making sure that officials carefully
vet the results. Remember, one one illegal alien voting means
(11:49):
that all illegal aliens are voting. By the millions. That's
how crazy it is. Okay, So here we go Texas.
Using that save tool for the federal government, it went
through its entire list of eighteen million registered voters last year.
(12:11):
The analysis that was done found that twenty seven hundred
suspected non citizens were flagged, and the state directed counties
to give voters thirty days to verify their citizenship.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
Okay, okay.
Speaker 1 (12:29):
In Denon County, one of the counties where I don't
know how many hundred thousands votes there are, the state
identified eighty four potential non citizens. The county's election administrator
found that fourteen were not citizens and had been improperly
added to the registration rules. None of them had a
(12:51):
history of voting none. We're talking states that have hundreds
of thousands of voters where half a dozen votes should
not have been cast, and that is enough for the
federal government to say it is massive fraud that goes
(13:11):
on in the vote. Same argument in twenty twenty, and they.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
Just couldn't come up with it.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
And the judges, by the way, said Okay, we're willing
to hear your argument of fraud.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
Let's see it.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
Sixty three cases said no, not one did any judge, say,
you have proved your case of fraud, not one jurisdiction, and.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
What's going to happen?
Speaker 1 (13:40):
And this is all to make sure that the midterms,
I gotta tell you don't even happen. That's how scary
this is. Now, is the president going to succeed? I
don't think so. Is the president going to try I
am guessing yes, much like the President did everything he
(14:01):
could to not certify the election of Joe Biden, filing
lawsuits and trying to get Mike Pence not to certify,
and Mike Pence just wouldn't do it. And of course
at that point, Mike Pence became persona non grata and
the January sixth Patriots and that's in quotes, came into
(14:24):
the Capitol and you screaming, hang Mike Pence, Hang Mike Pence,
by the hundreds. But they were patriots because he wouldn't
do the right thing, Mike Pence, and that is to
decertify Joe Biden as having won the election. So be prepared,
(14:45):
be prepared for the president to try to undo the midterms.
I'm telling you right now, I am telling you at
this moment, I know that seems far fetched, and I
know that people are gonna nail me amy particular because
I tend to go on the far reaches of politics
(15:05):
and I tend to be a little hyperbolic.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
But you know this one, I don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
Now I want to tell you about California state workers,
and this is where California is actually agreeing with the administration,
and that is state workers have to verify their legal
status via Everify. Now, the Everify program is the law
(15:33):
and everybody, every employer has to verify the status of
an employee that the employee is allowed to work in
this country. And there are hundreds of thousands, certainly in
California both I would guess. I don't know how many
thousand in the state because I think the state is
(15:55):
more is more careful than employers in general. But here
at KFI, I remember when iHeart bought KFI. I had
to bring in my passport to show that I was
legally entitled to work in this country.
Speaker 3 (16:15):
It was the weirdest thing. Why is their channel right?
I'm sorry, that's when clear Channel bought KFI. I think
it was when I Heeart bought KFI. It wasn't clear
Channel became my heart. Yeah, it was clear channel. So
I'm just it's a question of time, that's right.
Speaker 1 (16:34):
It was at that time the name of iHeart clear
why I was asked.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
To bring in my passport to prove it.
Speaker 1 (16:40):
And this is one where you have folks, liberal folks
are saying, oh, no, no, to have people who can't
prove their citizenship or their land, or their residency legal
residency under the law to enable themselves to work. We
don't want that. We want to make sure that everybody works.
And the problem is legitimately, they say, if you have
(17:02):
to prove employment, there would be no agricultural industry that
would disappear, construction industry would be decimated. But at the
same time, the law is being violated. And what this
new law is which I don't understand, because it's already
the case that California workers the state has to have
(17:27):
a proof given to them that whoever is hired or
ever maintains employment with the state state agencies.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Has to approve that they are entitled to work.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
And you know, if the law says that you cannot
work if you are an illegal migrant, and you can
believe it one side or the other, that's not the question.
How unfair is a law that says that American workers
have to have the ability to work? Unless your position
(18:02):
is that everybody comes in this country is allowed to work.
Everybody if you make it across the border, you now
can work. And there are millions and millions, And how
many people are paid under the table, and how many
companies do what iHeart did then clear channel? How many
companies say you have to prove that you have the
(18:26):
legal ability to work? Very few? And it is the
liberals are going nuts on this one, saying, how dare
you make someone prove that he or she is legally
entitled to work? Same thing with showing ID at the
voting booth? How dare you make someone prove that he
(18:49):
or she is eligible to vote under the law which
says only citizens can vote.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
How dare you.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
Have that the millions of people who are not allowed
to vote, who are allowed to vote but can't prove it.
And by the way, that is to me, that is
a different story. One is the ability to work, because
there is there are millions who do work without proving
(19:17):
or without citizenship millions. Now the people who are voting
just a tiny, tiny fraction of those who are illegal.
Can you imagine today someone who is not here legally
going to a polling booth and trying to vote who
in God's name who is illegal? Would try to vote who?
(19:43):
Nobody in their right mind whatever do that, especially if
you're a Hispanic. And are the FEDS going to be
at voting places during the midterm if there are midterms?
Speaker 2 (19:54):
Yeah, I think so, I think so.
Speaker 1 (19:59):
All right, Okay, now to the topic I want to
share with you, and that is the fact that China
can't sell cars here, as you know, can't sell electric
cars here, but China sells the software for virtually every
American EV car being sold, and that is the problem.
(20:22):
And automakers are scrambling to replace that Chinese software, which
is very difficult to undo the module manufacturers in the
cellular the software world, China has eighty seven percent of
the global market, including the US. So the question is
(20:45):
how Chinese is your car? Well, let me tell you.
Every time you pass a Panda Express, the car starts
beeping and here you go. Because modern cars are packed
with which it's with devices in the car which rezillion
is now containing Chinese technology. And now the car car
(21:07):
industry is scrambling because new US rules is going to
ban Chinese software in vehicle systems that connect to the cloud,
which includes cameras, microphones, GPS. So it's it's getting tough
for the car companies. And boy, what a rush of
(21:28):
corporate restructuring. Global suppliers are relocating China based software teams
into Western countries. Chinese companies are looking for Western owners.
For example, Perelli tire maker, it has these sensors in
(21:48):
the tires to determine, you know, the pressure, are there
holes in it?
Speaker 2 (21:54):
You know, how how much tread is left?
Speaker 1 (21:57):
Well, guess what, that's all Chinese software technology.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
There is one beneficiary of all this.
Speaker 1 (22:06):
There's a company start Egle Wireless at Ohio and as
a startup, and it's working to establish a US source
of the cellular modules which.
Speaker 2 (22:16):
Connect to the internet.
Speaker 1 (22:17):
The guests they've guessed right because they're in the middle
of redoing their software. And a British diplomat told the
US Congressional Committee in December, if you think rare earth
is a bad dependency to have on China because rare earth,
China controls the world domination, the world economy on rare earth,
(22:40):
which we need for everything, all electronics. He said, it's
a whole lot worse when it comes to this dependency
on the software from China.
Speaker 2 (22:55):
And so it's another issue how changes are changing so much.
Speaker 1 (23:01):
And this is not necessarily Donald Trump with the tariffs.
This is technology the Chinese control, and they with their
software can and will be able.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
To know where we are, where we go. How about that?
Speaker 1 (23:18):
Or all of a sudden, let's say there's an issue
of national security and hundreds of cars that usually would
not be driving up to the CIA, for example, and
all of a sudden they come in in massive numbers.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
What's going on?
Speaker 1 (23:33):
All of a sudden, Chinese, the Chinese intelligence community has
some intelligence about what's happening. This is scary stuff for manufacturers.
I mean, the world is scary. KFI AM sixty.
Speaker 2 (23:49):
You've been listening to the Bill Handle Show.
