lead story. Well, President announced that the US has ended
the war with Iran. The only people that are not
on board are strangely enough, the Iranians who have said
we have not yet confirmed the deal. So yesterday he
was going to bomb Iran starting at six o'clock and

just a few hours before the bombing. He said, never mind,
just joking, and that went on for the last two weeks.
It's going to happen tonight, it's gonna happen next week.
We're gonna have a deal. We're gonna have a deal
in place in two days. So now, I mean we're
gonna have some kind of a deal, I think, but
it's certainly not the deal that the White House wants.

But it doesn't matter. No matter what the agreement is,
Iran will declare victory, as will the United States declare victory.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
Yeah, he said, they reached a great settlement.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
Of course, so we will see. I can't wait. So
is it going to be this weekend? Who knows? The
good news as the President is now using the word
soon instead of specificity, we'll have it by this weekend.
And the terms of the agreement is really not set

in stone either. It's sort of a framework to discuss
later on things like oh, I don't know, the nuclear program,
the enriched Iranian program that Iran has. That's not going
to be an agreement that'll come in later. What will
happen is the strait of horror moves will be opened
exactly the same as it was before the war started,

and we'll see how much Iran gets out of this,
because remember they want sanctions lifted. They want a ton
of money that is being has been frozen by the
US their assets. They want that back, and so we'll see,
we'll see how much is given up by the US.
We don't know at this point.

So SpaceX began trading today under the ticker spc X
and ELI Reusable Rocket Company is going to be raising
seventy five billion dollars, selling five hundred and fifty five
point six million shares for one hundred and thirty five
dollars a piece. That will value SpaceX at one point

seven seven trillion dollars.

Which would make him the world's first trillionaire. YEP. And
I was thinking, at this company has so much cast,
why does it need all this much money? Why does
it need seventy five billion dollars? Well, they plan to
put over one hundred thousand satellites in orbit for communications
and build AI data centers in space. And usually when

you think of someone saying that that's supplying this guy
science fiction. Come on, don't be ridiculous, except the Selawon
Musk saying that, and you go, whoa that's what they
said about SpaceX, That's what they said about Tesla.

living in the future.

A couple of things going on. First of all, the
World Cup starts today in the United States. It's so
far and the US is going to be playing Paraguay,

auspicious thing is the IPO opens up that SpaceX goes
public today and set price one hundred and thirty five

dollars a share and they plant raising seventy five billion
dollar dollars and is valued the company at one point
seven seven trillion, which would make Elon Musk the world's
first trillionaire, assuming that it actually opens up at one
thirty five, Well, it's going to open at the set price.

It's going to open. Now the issue is what happens
right after that? Does the value? Is it valued low
which means that it is going to go up higher?
Is it value too high which means it's going to
drop immediately, well not humongous amounts of money? Or is
it right on point? And so either way, I'll tell

you the banks make just unbelievable bank with this stuff.
You know, I think there are five major organizations. I
think Morgan Stanley is one of them. Then I don't
remember the other three. But anyways, let's go go back
to more handle on the news Heather and me.

So, federal funding for locks has been suspended. The HUD,
the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, says they
have done an investigation and recover uncovered rather repeated false
statements and saying they're accusing basically LOSA, which is the
La County Homeless Services Association Services Authority, rather of fraud. Essentially,

they're saying that LOSA wasn't able to provide verification for
paperwork for twenty three hundred housing sites and where they're located.
They accuse them of fabricating certifications to cover up the
fact that they didn't have internal policy to prevent conflict
of interest. They've accused them of quite a few things,
and so because of that they've removed their suspended rather

their funding.

Now this is city, not County. It's the LA Housing.

What I do find interesting is how many of these
homeless organizations or cities that are Republican that are being nailed,

not a one, And so we'll find out by the
way that does mean that it doesn't because I think
that the city has done a god awful job of
dealing with homelessness in terms of how much money is
being spent, how much is being overspent, oversight, accountability, so
I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of what the

administration is saying and this investigation is opening up.

Yeah, So the La City Council has approved half a
million dollars to hire private attorneys to defend the city
against a lawsuit fired filed rather by former fire chief
Christin Crowley. So it was a twelve to one vote
in the city office. The City attorney's office will have

a contract now to with a local law firm to
basically defend the city against this lawsuit. And the mayor's
office is saying that Miss Crowley was removed from her
post for failing to deploy in advance and her decision
to send a thousand firefighters home instead of keeping them
on duty the morning the fires broke out. Of course,

this is all in relation to the wildfires from twenty
twenty five.

Yeah, a lot of people don't know that the city,
the state, the county quite often hire outside council to
represent the city. First of all, if there's conflict involved,
they're one of several defendants. And the other thing if
it's a complicated case where city attorneys that just don't
have this experience. And one of the things about La
City is quite often do they go to outside cansole

anything above a small claim suit against the city they
need help.

On the other side, is it also just like a
staffing issue, they maybe just don't have the people and
the resource you know.

Well, there is. It depends on how many people you have.
The city gets sued constantly. Yeah, what kind of expertise
do you have? This is an employment situation, employment discrimination
if you will, Yes, but it's not unusual at all.
Outside council is constantly being brought.

In and it's the five hundred thousand of retainer, Like,
is that do you have to pay more?

Oh? Yeah, this is a this is a minimum amount.
Oh you bet you. And the amount of money that
is going to be charged by these law firms, one
in particular, at this point is not a small amount
of money. It's a good contract to have.

so there will definitely be more.

earlier this week in federal court to paying people to
register to vote, which is a violation of federal law,
and in her plea agreement, she says she spent nearly
two decades working as a paid petition circulator, often on
skid row, and this case is now investigators are saying

they have new questions about whether they're similar activity that's
happening in LA's area. I've actually seen video where independent
journalists have gone down and they have started asking people
in skid row have you ever been paid to vote?
Have you ever been paid to register to vote?

And they had interviews with several people who had said that, yes,
someone came down and paid them and asked them to vote.

Yeah. Do you know that you cannot get anything on
a ballot measure in California without paying people to get
the signatures? Ever been in front of a supermarket and
then they are there, they are out there and.

Those have been asked to pay for that.

But no, no, no, you would never get no, no,
you would never get asked to paid for registering. But
the people that gather those signatures, that person at the
card table who says, hey, are you a resident of LA,
a resident of Orange County whatever, They're paid to get
your signature. But no, you cannot get paid, of course not.
You can't buy a vote.

Yeah, So apparently this is something that's happening more and more.

couple of Pasadena cops and I watched the video and
I don't understand even how this how they even got
involved in this. But these two officers were apparently in
a parking garage in Pasadena, and the video shows one

officer pulling out his weapon and pointing out another officer
who was seated in a patrol car, and then he
reholstered it, and then the officer in the patrol car
also drew his weapon and then it suddenly went off,
went through the windshield of the patrol car and hit
the other officer. So it was like he was like here, bang, bang.

You know they're horsing around. Yeah, they were horsing around.

And kid, he had points a gun at somebody else.

You can't do it, especially at a cop. There was
a lawyer that I worked with early on in my

who was taking a cadet around. This was in Louisville, Kentucky.

Yeah, it's always it's the Eighth Amendment, Cruel and unusual punishment.
And these are people that they're not really moving. The
ones that are suing to have this stuff stopped, they're
not really moving to have the method of execution changed
or stopped. It is the whole concept of capital punishment
they want stopped, so, you know, and they get the

courts to basically agree that almost anything that kills someone,
that executes someone is cruel and unusual. And you know,
I'll tell you what, we're going to go back to
when all of a sudden done hanging and we're gonna

money for that, by the way, to see a guillotine,

President Trump says he's gonna nominate Ja Clayton, the US
Attorney for the Southern District of New York, to serve
as the director of the National Director of National and
Television Intelligence not Television. You will replace Tulsey Gabbard on

an acting basis until he is confirmed. And he made
this decision after initially picking Trump loyalist Pulte. I hope
I'm saying that name right, Yeah, Bill Poulte, Bill Pulte. Yeah.
But he got a lot of pushback on Pulta, So
now this is his replacement for Pulte.

Well, Pulti is still there as acting until you have
Jay Clayton come in. And there is a lot of
pushback because Pulte is wildly has no experience qualified, totally unqualified,
I mean completely, so he's and of course Trump pushes

back no matter what happens. And in the meantime, Clayton,
who is the US Attorney for Southern Southern District of
New York, he has virtually no experience in national security.
The law says right there that who's ever the Director
of National Intelligence has to have aience more than moderate experience,

has to have extensive experience in the intelligence community, of
which of course Pulte has zero. It's all financial. And
Clayton has been the US Attorney in New York, Southern
District of New York, which specializes I mean, this is
where terrorism, anti counter terrorism is basically, this is the

office that deals with counterintelligence. So almost no experience, virtually
no experience. But Pulty is so bad that people are
jumping on allowing Clayton to be the d DCI.

virtually no experience compared to someone who has none, no experience,

the war with Iran. The only people that are not
on board are strangely enough, the Iranians who have said
we have not yet confirmed the deal. So yesterday he

just joking, and that went on for the last two weeks.
It's going to happen tonight, it's gonna happen next week.
We're gonna have a deal. We're gonna have a deal
in place in two days. So now, I mean we're
gonna have some kind of a deal, I think, but
it's certainly not the deal that the White House wants.

But it doesn't matter. No matter what the agreement is,
Iran will declare victory, as will the United States declare victory.

Yeah, he said, they reached a great settlement.

Of course, so we will see. I can't wait. So
is it going to be this weekend? Who knows? The
good news as the President is now using the word
soon instead of specificity, we'll have it by this weekend.

in stone either. It's sort of a framework to discuss
later on things like oh, I don't know, the nuclear program,
the enriched Iranian program that Iran has. That's not going
to be an agreement that'll come in later. What will
happen is the strait of horror moves will be opened
exactly the same as it was before the war started,

and we'll see how much Iran gets out of this,
because remember they want sanctions lifted. They want a ton
of money that is being has been frozen by the
US their assets. They want that back, and so we'll see,
we'll see how much is given up by the US.

and ELI Reusable Rocket Company is going to be raising
seventy five billion dollars, selling five hundred and fifty five
point six million shares for one hundred and thirty five
dollars a piece. That will value SpaceX at one point

I was thinking, at this company has so much cast,

first trillionaire, assuming that it actually opens up at one
thirty five, Well, it's going to open at the set price.

It's going to open. Now the issue is what happens
right after that? Does the value? Is it valued low
which means that it is going to go up higher?
Is it value too high which means it's going to
drop immediately, well not humongous amounts of money? Or is
it right on point? And so either way, I'll tell

you the banks make just unbelievable bank with this stuff.
You know, I think there are five major organizations. I
think Morgan Stanley is one of them. Then I don't
remember the other three. But anyways, let's go go back
to more handle on the news Heather and me.

So, federal funding for locks has been suspended. The HUD,
the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, says they
have done an investigation and recover uncovered rather repeated false
statements and saying they're accusing basically LOSA, which is the
La County Homeless Services Association Services Authority, rather of fraud. Essentially,

they're saying that LOSA wasn't able to provide verification for
paperwork for twenty three hundred housing sites and where they're located.
They accuse them of fabricating certifications to cover up the
fact that they didn't have internal policy to prevent conflict
of interest. They've accused them of quite a few things,
and so because of that they've removed their suspended rather

their funding.

that the city has done a god awful job of
dealing with homelessness in terms of how much money is
being spent, how much is being overspent, oversight, accountability, so

Yeah, So the La City Council has approved half a
million dollars to hire private attorneys to defend the city
against a lawsuit fired filed rather by former fire chief
Christin Crowley. So it was a twelve to one vote
in the city office. The City attorney's office will have

a contract now to with a local law firm to
basically defend the city against this lawsuit. And the mayor's
office is saying that Miss Crowley was removed from her
post for failing to deploy in advance and her decision
to send a thousand firefighters home instead of keeping them
on duty the morning the fires broke out. Of course,

this is all in relation to the wildfires from twenty
twenty five.

Yeah, a lot of people don't know that the city,
the state, the county quite often hire outside council to
represent the city. First of all, if there's conflict involved,
they're one of several defendants. And the other thing if
it's a complicated case where city attorneys that just don't
have this experience. And one of the things about La
City is quite often do they go to outside cansole

anything above a small claim suit against the city they
need help.

On the other side, is it also just like a
staffing issue, they maybe just don't have the people and
the resource you know.

Well, there is. It depends on how many people you have.
The city gets sued constantly. Yeah, what kind of expertise
do you have? This is an employment situation, employment discrimination
if you will, Yes, but it's not unusual at all.
Outside council is constantly being brought.

In and it's the five hundred thousand of retainer, Like,
is that do you have to pay more?

Oh? Yeah, this is a this is a minimum amount.
Oh you bet you. And the amount of money that
is going to be charged by these law firms, one
in particular, at this point is not a small amount
of money. It's a good contract to have.

so there will definitely be more.

earlier this week in federal court to paying people to
register to vote, which is a violation of federal law,
and in her plea agreement, she says she spent nearly
two decades working as a paid petition circulator, often on
skid row, and this case is now investigators are saying

they have new questions about whether they're similar activity that's
happening in LA's area. I've actually seen video where independent
journalists have gone down and they have started asking people
in skid row have you ever been paid to vote?
Have you ever been paid to register to vote?

And they had interviews with several people who had said that, yes,
someone came down and paid them and asked them to vote.

Yeah. Do you know that you cannot get anything on
a ballot measure in California without paying people to get
the signatures? Ever been in front of a supermarket and
then they are there, they are out there and.

Those have been asked to pay for that.

you would never get asked to paid for registering. But
the people that gather those signatures, that person at the
card table who says, hey, are you a resident of LA,
a resident of Orange County whatever, They're paid to get
your signature. But no, you cannot get paid, of course not.

Yeah, So apparently this is something that's happening more and more.

couple of Pasadena cops and I watched the video and
I don't understand even how this how they even got
involved in this. But these two officers were apparently in
a parking garage in Pasadena, and the video shows one

who was seated in a patrol car, and then he
reholstered it, and then the officer in the patrol car
also drew his weapon and then it suddenly went off,
went through the windshield of the patrol car and hit
the other officer. So it was like he was like here, bang, bang.

You know they're horsing around. Yeah, they were horsing around.

And kid, he had points a gun at somebody else.

You can't do it, especially at a cop. There was
a lawyer that I worked with early on in my

Alabama appealed to that ruling.

Yeah, it's always it's the Eighth Amendment, Cruel and unusual punishment.
And these are people that they're not really moving. The
ones that are suing to have this stuff stopped, they're
not really moving to have the method of execution changed
or stopped. It is the whole concept of capital punishment
they want stopped, so, you know, and they get the

courts to basically agree that almost anything that kills someone,
that executes someone is cruel and unusual. And you know,
I'll tell you what, we're going to go back to
when all of a sudden done hanging and we're gonna

money for that, by the way, to see a guillotine,

who is the US Attorney for Southern Southern District of
New York, he has virtually no experience in national security.
The law says right there that who's ever the Director
of National Intelligence has to have aience more than moderate experience,

has to have extensive experience in the intelligence community, of
which of course Pulte has zero. It's all financial. And
Clayton has been the US Attorney in New York, Southern
District of New York, which specializes I mean, this is
where terrorism, anti counter terrorism is basically, this is the
(27:24):
office that deals with counterintelligence. So almost no experience, virtually
no experience. But Pulty is so bad that people are
jumping on allowing Clayton to be the d DCI.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
Yeah, even Republicans were the Yeah.
Speaker 2 (27:41):
I know, so we're going to get someone who has
virtually no experience compared to someone who has none, no experience,
who is yes, completely unqualified.
Speaker 3 (27:52):
Apparently somebody has created the numbers eighty six forty seven
on the US National Mall and the grass on the
US National Mall, and now police are investigating to figure
out who did it. Eighty six, of course, is the
sort of a slang term for get rid of, and
forty seven could refer to President Trump, who is of
(28:16):
course the forty seventh.
Speaker 2 (28:17):
Oh, I'm sure it is. I'm sure that's precisely what
it is. Get rid of. It's a term used in
restaurants saying we no longer have it's done, you can't
order anymore. And for some crazy reason, I'll tell you why.
Because Komy took a picture of shells that spelled out
eighty six forty seven, and the Department of Justice has

decided that is a direct threat on the life of
the president. How about the signs that say get rid
of President Trump, we want Trump out of office? Are
all of those threats against the president? Can you imagine
how many thousands of people would be arrested for that?
Speaker 3 (28:59):
Yeah, there's also people posting regularly on social media and
comments and in videos, you know, calling saying get rid
of Trump as well.
Speaker 2 (29:08):
And some people are seeing Trump should die. That is
First Amendment. Now, you can't make a specific threat, but
you can say I hope Trump gets assassinated. That is
a First Amendment statement. You can make that. Now. Of course,
the FBI is going to show up and have a
conversation with you. You would hope, yeah, yeah, oh no,
you would. It will happen, But they're not going to
(29:30):
be charged because that is the First Amendment issue. So
this thing with the shells is just insanity. It makes
no sense.
Speaker 3 (29:38):
Yeah, So the Kennedy Center is going to try to
pause the ruling ordering the removal of Trump's name. Of course,
a judge ruled that his name had to be removed
from the Kennedy Center because it was illegally added. And
now the board is saying they're trying to push back
and say, no, we want to keep it on here.
(30:01):
But the judge says Congress only Congress can institute a
change to the Kennedy Center's name and ordered it removed
by today.
Speaker 2 (30:09):
And by the way, an email was sent out offering
ticket packages for the June twenty seven which used to be.
The Mark Twain Award for American Humor is now the
Donald Trump Award for American Humor. The first recipient who
is receiving it is none other than Donald Trump for
being the funniest man in America. Put in many cases, by.
Speaker 3 (30:34):
The way he is, there's definitely times where I'm sure
people have laughed. I'll just say that this is, you know, scary.
Don't tell Debora Mark she's afraid of earthquakes here in
southern California, as we all are a little bit. But
a new paper says that the Earth's crust in California, specifically,
(30:57):
accumulative stress in the Earth's crust are higher today than
at any point over the last thousand years. So now
there's renewed concern over potential for a massive quake in
La specifically in the Kohone Pass area. It's a major
fault area. So I think we all know it's coming.
I think it's just a matter of when, of course.
Speaker 2 (31:18):
And you can go to Palm Palmdale and actually see
the tectonic plates. I mean there they are right there.
I'm waiting for the next earthquake. I sort of want
it to happen because one of my dream situations is
have sex right in the middle of an earthquake, so
I can say, has the earth moved for you? No,
(31:38):
I've always wanted that to happen.
Speaker 3 (31:40):
People are eating breakfast.

Hilton versus Bessara, and I don't know how Hilton can
