The Tim Conway Jr Show Hour 3 (7.13)

A nasty SoCal heatwave is rolling in with sky-high humidity — we’re all sweating balls out here! Wildfires have sparked but firefighters are working hard on containment. Paris Hilton is back in the news as an advocate fighting to shut down the brutal Provo, Utah boarding school she attended as a teen, though we can’t help missing the old “Simple Life” Paris from the aughts. There’s a vegetation fire called the Zebra Fire burning in Azusa north of the 210, and don’t forget the shirtless nut in East Hollywood who jumped on a Waymo’s windshield, yelling at the sensors and ripping the car apart.

In Boyle Heights, residents are dealing with an unbearable rotten stench, flies, and rodents thanks to the 85 million pounds of food rotting at the burned Linear Logistics warehouse, plus a burst water main leaving people without water nearby. On a slightly better note, two corpse flowers are about to bloom at the Huntington Library — those things only flower for 24–48 hours every few years and smell exactly as bad as the name suggests. In celebrity news, comedian Tom Segura and his wife Christina Pazsitzky announced they’re divorcing but will keep doing their podcast “Your Mom’s House” together (that should go smoothly!), while Brad Pitt’s kids Zahara and Maddox took out newspaper ads announcing they’re dropping “Pitt” and keeping “Jolie.”

Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's KFI AM six forty and you're listening to the
Conway Show on demand on the iHeartRadio app. Well, over
all these meteorologists who're talking about how hot it's gonna be,
and it's you know, July, and that's what happens. You know,
you live in California and southern California and guess what.

(00:22):
It gets hot in the summer. That's just where we live.
But to say, you know it's extremes and there's warnings
that go out, I don't know. I don't know. I
think we should wait for the till it's one thirty
to get these warnings, you know, rolling around here.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
And as the week goes on, to get ready because
temperatures are only going to crank up even more with
the humidity sticking around all week.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Yeah, this humidity sucks. It's coming in from Arizona this monsoon.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Ol.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
You know, the cloud it's just gonna be. I think
there's gonna be rain and lightning and thunder and it's
it might be pretty radical.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
It'll be harder for your body to cool itself down,
to be sure to drink plenty of water.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Oh, here we go, Here we go with the news
people telling us what to do. You know, we're watching
the news, so you know we're not just foreheads, and
they have to tell us. If you get warm, please
don't forget to drink water.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
So be sure to drink plenty of water.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Got it? What about wearing a jacket?

Speaker 4 (01:23):
Now?

Speaker 2 (01:23):
This heat comes as we saw several fires break out
over the last few days. Over the weekend, Fire Cruise
battled three different blazes in Riverside County. A small vegetation
fire broke out yesterday in Juniper Springs.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
Firefighters put it out within hours.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Then a toolarm fire burned thirty acres in Fairmont on
Saturday before Cruise finally put.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Where was it?

Speaker 4 (01:44):
Then a toolarm fire burned thirty acres in.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Fairmont on Chaermont, Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Saturday, before Cruise finally put that out. But the Summit fire,
burning on the border of La and San Bernardino Counties
is the largest and most active. It has burned nearly
twenty seven hundred acre since it broke out, and you're
giano on Friday. Thankfully, though, all evacuation orders were lifted
yesterday and containment is up to thirty one percent.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
So do you see that today? A problem could be active.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Winds, but they have a pretty good handle on it,
so I'm not much to worry about there, hopefully. In
terms of today, though, be sure to stick inside of
the AC and then.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Okay, here's the lessons at the end.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
I'm not much to worry about there, hopefully in terms
of today.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Okay, here's for really dumb people. And there's still some
people out there that aren't very bright. They got to
do this for them.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
Be sure to stick inside of the AC.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
All right, ac inside the AC.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
And then just start drinking plenty of water.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
Am I gonna fit in that?

Speaker 1 (02:42):
How about this the second lesson? This second reference to
please drink water if you're overheat twice in one story.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
Check on the elderly, check on your pads. Make sure
you leave them with pillennia of water as well. We
want everyone to stay hydrated and safe.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Oh tripped up they get as trips.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
Everyone to see hydrated and see.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
Okay three times in one story, water water water.

Speaker 4 (03:08):
As this summer heat wave continues.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Right at right, at right, you can you'll figure it out.
And if you and if you can't figure it out,
then you got to move out of California into a
place that is is more, you know, uh, the easier
to live in, surviving, and but to tell people who
watch the news to remember to drink water is odd.

Speaker 5 (03:29):
Just put timmy, Can you play it some more because
I'm still waiting to hear what I should wear.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Yeah, I know what to wear. I know, but they don't.
That's the end of the story. They didn't tell us.
So we're all gonna die.

Speaker 5 (03:40):
Oh my god, Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Lose fitting clothing, get in the shade. If you're going
to work out, do it early in the morning, do
it late in the afternoon. Make sure your dogs have water,
don't leave your kids in the car, all that crap
that we all know, and yet they keep banging on us.
It is. It's the word. It's the worst, all right.
Paris Hilton is in the news. She went to a

(04:04):
school in Utah, and then she spilled the beans that
there was some funny business going on with the kids
and the teachers, and now that school might be done.

Speaker 6 (04:17):
It's the boarding school. Socialite Paris Hilton spent years fighting
to close.

Speaker 7 (04:22):
I will not stop until America's youth is safe.

Speaker 6 (04:25):
Now authorities in Utah announcing they will revoke the license
of provoke.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Okay, I understand that she's doing something positive. I totally
get that. But Richie is with us today because Bellio's
I don't know what she oh Belly went to one
of those knitting conventions again.

Speaker 8 (04:42):
Yes, she's thriving out there.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Yeah, she loves knitting. Man, she's you know, I think
the best knitter in at iHeart. I think she's been,
you know, dominating the knitting scene that I heard. But Richie, yes, okay,
listen to this.

Speaker 7 (04:57):
I will not stop until America's youth is safe.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Okay. I get what she's doing, but don't you miss
her and the simple life I do the lighter side
of Paris Hilton. What a time. I get what she's
trying to do, but I miss her, you know, going
into a Walmart or k Mart or you know, eating
fast food.

Speaker 8 (05:19):
Or whatevernics and stuff.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Yeah, that's exactly right, and not knowing how to you know,
get you couldn't find her way through Walmart. That was
a great show. It was. That was one of my
guilty pleasures.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
Man.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
I love that show. I watch it every single week.

Speaker 8 (05:32):
I still laugh to it.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Yeah, it's with her and Nicole rich especially when they're
living out on a farm somewhere.

Speaker 8 (05:38):
Yes, that was like gold for sure.

Speaker 7 (05:41):
I will not stop until America's use is safe.

Speaker 6 (05:45):
Now, authorities in Utah announcing they will revoke the license
of provoking campus for Girls, citing video they say shows
a staff member hitting a child and a pattern of
health and safety violations. The campus now ordered to end
all services by next month.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Don't you think there's a lot of that going on?
You know, because kids that go to those schools, not
all of them, but I would say most of them,
or at least, you know, a simple majority of them.
I have behavioral problems, and when you have to deal
with them all the time, I think it takes it
the patience of an angel not to you know, grab

(06:24):
them every once in a while.

Speaker 6 (06:25):
It's a result Hilton has long been fighting for.

Speaker 7 (06:29):
These kids are treated worse than someone would be in prison.

Speaker 9 (06:32):
Do you feel vindicated? Do you feel heard by this decision?

Speaker 7 (06:37):
I definitely feel heard, and so do all the survivors.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Just to hear Richie, what's your catchphrase?

Speaker 8 (06:43):
That's hot?

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Oh, that's hot, that's right. You probably won't hear it here, Yeah,
you won't hear it in this piece or loves it. Yeah,
the kids are not sliving in this piece, and you're
not going to hear that's hot.

Speaker 7 (06:54):
I definitely feel heard, and so do all the survivors.
Just to hear this news is incredibly healing.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Although wouldn't that be great if somebody told Paris Hilton
that that school is going to be closed and her
reaction was that's hot. That rightly did a great reaction. Yeah,
that probably has so many meanings. So yeah, that's hot
is a great I mean, it dominates, Ding Dong dominates,
It's equivalent. It's the bat. No, it's a billion times

(07:22):
better that. And kiss my Grits is another great one.
Where's the beef? You know, so many great ones out there.

Speaker 6 (07:29):
Back in twenty twenty, she came forward with allegations against
the school, saying she was beaten forcibly medicated and locked
in solitary confinement at the facility when she was a teenager.

Speaker 7 (07:40):
They're sitting on a chair, staring at the wall all
day long, getting yelled at or hid.

Speaker 6 (07:47):
In twenty twenty four, Hilton testified before Congress.

Speaker 7 (07:50):
I was violently restrained and dragged down Halloways Strip naked.

Speaker 6 (07:55):
Her advocacy helped pass protections in sixteen states, including a
Utah on limiting the use of restraints, sedatives, and solitary
confinement at youth treatment centers, and a federal law creating
oversight of the industry.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
Wow, and she's really kicked ass for these kids.

Speaker 6 (08:11):
The school changed ownership in two thousand and says it
cannot comment on anything that came before that time. As
for the new decision to revoke its license, the school
says it's considering an appeal, saying our priority remains providing safe,
high quality care and support for adolescents and their families.
The school has fifteen days to request a hearing. A

(08:32):
separate campus for boys remains open.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
So the boys camp is going to stay open. The boys'
school is going to close the girls school. Okay.

Speaker 10 (08:40):
Interesting, you're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from
KFI AM six forty.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
It's Conway Show. We've got a fire that popped up here. Krozer.
It's out near you, buddy. I hope it doesn't affect
your drive. It's in a Zusa. It's called the Zebra
fire and it was started by some losa in Azusa.
I'll tell you where it is. It's north of the
two ten, north of Foothill and just east of the

(09:10):
six to SOH five. It's called the Zebra fire. Not
sure why they named it the Zebra fire, but vegetation
fire broke out the entrance of a Zusa Canyon trail
in Los Angeles. Vegetation fire dubbed the Zebra fire broke
out the entrance of the Azusa Canyon Trail in Los
Angeles County. I think people know where that is, and

(09:33):
it's about an hour old, about ten acres. And the
reason why this is big news is because if a
fire starts rolling up the hill and it's getting hot,
that could burn all the way to Palmdale, and we've
seen that before. You know it burns out to the
Antelope Valley. So the blaze was reportedly broken out. It

(09:54):
broke out in the North San Gabriel Canyon Road area
and North Mountain Laurel Way. Fire reported at seven pm,
so we're an hour and twenty three minutes into it.
One person shared a map of the area where the
fire broke out. No structures are threatened to present and

(10:15):
the cause is not no no injuries, zero percent containment.

Speaker 11 (10:18):
That is way up at the top of that little
canyon there that's a little it's a little neighborhood there
that's probably looks like it's got maybe one hundred hundred
and fifty homes or something like that in there, maybe
two hundred at most, and there's almost nothing else around
it except hills. Yeah, but it's like isolated, so it
could it could depending on where it's at in relation
to this, it could roll. Yeah, yeah, that's right.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
Off. I think the thirty nine goes up there.

Speaker 11 (10:41):
Yeah, yeah, it's right. It's just above the thirty nine.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
Okay, so you do you ever go hiking up there?

Speaker 12 (10:46):
No?

Speaker 11 (10:47):
No, no, no, not a ZEUSA.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
No, you know the thirty nine. It baffles me. Isn't
the thirty nine also Beach Boulevard?

Speaker 13 (10:54):
Is it?

Speaker 1 (10:55):
I mean, if you take the thirty nine, you know,
all the way to the coast, I think the thirty
nine is Beach Boulevard.

Speaker 8 (11:04):
You are correct that right, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
Okay, it doesn't connect the whole way though, Yeah.

Speaker 5 (11:11):
I'm not sure about that. I know that it does
run all the way from the foothills and eventually it
becomes Beach Boulevard, But the Highway thirty nine goes all
the way down.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
Yeah. The only reason I know that is because that
I had to take Beach Boulevard during the parade that
I was the Grand Marshal, thank you very much, of
the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary Birthday of this country,
and I had to jump off on the thirty nine.
And for some reason, I don't know what it is
about Orange County that they sort of treat people right.

(11:43):
But I got off the freeway on four or five
and Beach Boulevard, and maybe somebody's getting off the freeway
right now listening like wow, I'm right here, okay. But
then I drove to the beach and I hit every
green light. They have those lights synced up, so if
you're in the right pattern, then you go on the
speed limit. You can literally go from the four or five,

(12:05):
seven eight nine miles to pch with all green lights.
I did it. I'm living proof that it can happen.
So I'll be aware of that fire. If you're on
the two ten. It just east of the six oh five.
Look north and that's where that that fire is, So

(12:26):
be aware of them and be careful. All right. Did
you see this weymo nut, this shirtless guy that got
on top of a Weaimo and he started pulling it apart,
and they started yelling into that crazy cylinder that moves
on the top, that looks like you know something got
a Star Wars. Yeah, he pulled that apart and then

(12:46):
started yelling down the hole.

Speaker 8 (12:49):
You know, get out of there, Get out.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
But he had to be on something. I bet the
cops hate dealing with a guy like that because sometimes
it takes like nine cops with a guy on PCP.

Speaker 11 (13:01):
Yeah, I remember those days. Yeah, living near DC, that
was a big thing. Yeah, and I got angel Dust.
A guy could could kick the crap out of nine cop. Yeah,
that was always the story.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
Yeah, that's horrible traffic. Wait, that's what happens. Over the weekend.
A guy beat the hell out of a Weymo.

Speaker 14 (13:16):
Traffic came to a stop of the busy intersection of
Sunset in Edgemont in East Hollywood due to a man
vandalizing a WAYMO take a look at this. Police say
they arrived to find a shirtless man on top of
a Weymo in the middle of the intersection. This this
video posted to the Citizen app. The man was seen
on the crushed windshield holding a bent windshield wiper while
screaming at the censor on the top of the Weymo.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
How I don't know how you develop that kind of
anger towards an autonomous anything and you're a car. There's
no driver in it, but he's just madded to technology.

Speaker 14 (13:50):
Traffic had to come to a full stop as the
Weimo was stopped right in the middle of the street.
It's still unclear if anyone was in the Weimo when
that destruction started. Officers arrived on the scene and arrested
that man for vandalism.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
You know, I understand getting high or drunk or taking drugs,
but you can overdo it. I mean, that's a perfect
example where a guy got too high. You know, he
was too high. You can get high, but you have
to treat it. Like if you're a father or a
mother out there, you'll know what I'm talking about. But

(14:24):
when you have a baby, you can play with that
baby and you know, roll a ball around with it,
or bill blocks or whatever. But eventually you have to
put that baby to sleep, and the baby's got to rest,
so you can't play with that baby for three straight days.
It just doesn't happen that way. It doesn't work that way. Well,
being buzzed is the same way. You can get buzzed.

(14:46):
I drunk high whatever for a couple hours, maybe three, four, five,
eight hours max if you day drink, but if you sorry,
alarm went off. But if you are for three straight
days doing coke and meth and getting wild, that creates
a lot of problems for you, including this guy who

(15:10):
is beating the hell out of a way Moo and
now is cooling his heels somewhere in jail. So you
can get high, you just can't do it three straight days.
The body cannot handle it, and then you lose your
mind and then you're on top of a way Moo shirtless,
yelling at it. And that's when your life, if it

(15:31):
wasn't already starting to fall apart, that's when it does
start to fall apart. So try to prevent that. William. Thanks.

Speaker 10 (15:38):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
Am sixty.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
Let's check in on our buddies. Are neighbors that live
in Boil Heights. They've had a bad couple of weeks.
First the fire, then the smell, the eighty five pounds
of food, the rats, the fly are now the problem.
Hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of flies in the neighborhood,

(16:07):
and the stench is unbearable. All the windows, the doors
have to be kept closed and it's just a nightmare.
The nightmare continues in Boyle Heights.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
We begin in Boyle Heights tonight, a water main break
just down the street from the fire damaged Linear Warehouse.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
If this neighborhood cannot take any more action, they're at
their wits end.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
It's adding to a growing list of frustrations for the
neighbors there. Tonight, street repair crews out in force. Watch
Love is Matthew Seedorf his live at the water main
break with the latest for us. Matthew, what is going on?

Speaker 1 (16:45):
What the hell is going on out there with Boyle Heights?
Got them mighty?

Speaker 12 (16:49):
Yeah, it seems like there's a list of issues going on.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
But if hell there is, doesn't seem like it there is.

Speaker 12 (16:55):
Yeah, it seems like there's a list of issues going on,
But officials say that this is unrelated to the warehouse.
But even here, about a mile away, you can still
smell all of the horrible things. But Elliott will give
you a live looks high you can see cruise still
working to fix this pipe. Just the latest problem in
here in this neighborhood.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
Oh here's the pipe.

Speaker 12 (17:18):
A new problem now swarming in boil Heights. That's a
medium one YEA thousands of flies buzzing around homes and
businesses as cruise race to remove millions of pounds of
running food from the fire ravaged Winneage warehouse.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
All right, so first you had the fire, and then
they put that out. Then it reignited, and then that
went on for eight days. Then the stench, and now
the rats, and now the flies and a water main breaks.
It's like, you know, if you had all of that
on the Universal back lot during the tour, you know,

(17:53):
people taking the tour would be like, isn't that a
little over the top? Just a bit over the top,
All that's happening, But it's actually happening. I hoboso. They
don't facing You can hear the flies in the background.
That's the sound of a million flies. I hobos. They
don't facing light. This is moll This is a baby.

Speaker 8 (18:17):
Oh you can see me.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
Flies like green flies workers sunday. Oh yeah, there's like
a green sort of rainbowie flies remember those like horse flies.
I don't I haven't seen those around like they were
big in the nineteen seventies and eighties, but I haven't
seen them lately. But they're back. And then boil Heights,
the big green and they know they got green bags
and oh the worst big ass wings.

Speaker 12 (18:41):
Workers Sunday loading trucks with spoiled crab meat, beef, pig
feet and other rotting food we previously documented.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
What do you think the worst smell is there? And
the crab, the pigs feet, the beef.

Speaker 12 (18:54):
Trucks with spoiled crab meat, the crab.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
Yeah, I think you're right. Spoiled seafood is the worst. Yeah,
you know you ever smelled like Alaskan fertilizer, Alaskan fish fertilizer,
it's the worst. O. Beef, pig feet, pig feet is
you know, if if it was pickled pigs feet, it
shouldn't smell that.

Speaker 12 (19:11):
Band and other running food we previously documented with oder
blasters on trying to cut through a sickening stench that won't.

Speaker 8 (19:19):
Leave a smell odor blaster.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
Yeah, I don't know. I think they're spraying like for
breeze in these big cans and it's not working out.
It's not it's just dreadful.

Speaker 12 (19:31):
Blasters on trying to cut through.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
With oder blasters. It sounds like something you put in
a shoe, you know, and when when your your feet
stick odor blasters? Hey, grab, I got you your odor blasters. Ah,
great bag.

Speaker 12 (19:47):
Trying to cut through a sickening stench that won't leave
smell flies.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
Now, I'm worried about that, you.

Speaker 12 (19:55):
Know, because all the flies are touching. Yeah, about a
mile away. The stink is in the air, and now
they're dealing with this.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
Wow, it's a mile away. Can still smell it? A
mile away? You know, fifty five hundred feet away.

Speaker 12 (20:10):
A water main break.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
The pressure on my water didn't fall a little bit.
And I that now it makes sense.

Speaker 12 (20:16):
Surveillance video obtained by Fox eleven captured water erupting through
the pavement Sunday afternoon, flooding the intersection. It was earthquake.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 12 (20:25):
Crews moved in, digging for hours to repair the broken pipe.
Dozens of customers left without water, but California Water Service
says the break appears to be unrelated to the warehouse fire,
despite happening just down the road.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
Something else to add to this community. It's crazy frustration.
I wonder if that, you know, the guy fixing it
to this community is laughing. But I wonder if the
people who live in Boil Heights have any laughter or
any sense of humor left.

Speaker 12 (20:51):
To this community. It's crazy frustration here is still boiling over.

Speaker 8 (20:55):
I'm not want to get discussed by a lot, but
they had me like even.

Speaker 12 (21:00):
After weeks of smoke, a sticky stench, rats, and now
swarms of flies. Many say they're ready for one thing,
this cleanup to be over.

Speaker 8 (21:09):
Oh no, that's so my house.

Speaker 1 (21:11):
They may have finished ace up. Yeah, they gotta finish
a here's why.

Speaker 12 (21:15):
Look as Cruise put in that new pipe, they estimate
that it could be at least a couple of more hours. Again,
dozens of people in this area without water tonight reporting
live and Boyle Heights, Matthew seed or Fox Elevenues.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
Okay, Matthew Seedorf kicking ass out there, probably having to
take his clothes to the cleaners once he's done. And
so that's the ying of of the stench. The yang
is there are going to be people over the next
couple of weeks paying money to go see the corpse flower,
where the flower that comes up every four or five

(21:50):
or six years and smells like rotten Hamburger, and people
will pay to see that. Just go down to Boile
Heights you get that same odor for free.

Speaker 14 (21:58):
Two corpse flowers at the Huntingdon Library and Gardens have
started to bloom. O Doorsius and Odor have both begun
to open and are releasing their famous rotting flesh smell
right now.

Speaker 1 (22:08):
And people will pay to see that and smell it.

Speaker 14 (22:11):
Each bloom only lasts twenty four to forty eight hours,
and it is one of the rarest and shortest lived
spectacles in the plant world. It's rare for both flowers
to bloom at the same time. The smell is used
to attract the flower's main pollinator, the carrion beetle.

Speaker 1 (22:25):
Hmmm, all right, So you can get that odor for
free at Boyle Heights, or you can pay twenty three
dollars to go see it in Arcadia. That's up to you.
Have you got the money and you want to control
the atmosphere to smell that arcadia. But if you don't,
you know, you have the kids. You just want to
go smell what rotting crab smells like. Take them down

(22:49):
to Boyle Heights and buzz around you'll get a whiff
of that pretty good.

Speaker 10 (22:54):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
Am six forty.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
Here's something interesting for you. You guys know the comedian
Tom Segura, right, very very funny man. I'd say one
of the top ten comics in the United States, maybe
top five. Very funny dude. And he's married to a
woman named Christina. And I don't know where her last
name is. She goes by Christina p. I think it's Pozitski. Yeah,

(23:22):
I think that's it. So they do. I believe they
do a podcast together. I know they own a podcast studio,
and I think they do a podcast together. Okay, so
that's the groundwork, the background. They've been married for eighteen years.
They just announced their divorcing and they're going to continue
doing the podcast. That is going to be great to

(23:46):
see how long they can hold that together. Eighteen years
of marriage, doing a podcast together, and they're going to
continue doing it and own I think it's hym H Studios,
and they're gonna continue working together. That could blow up
and you'll hear it on their podcast. So another reason

(24:09):
to watch and listen. I think they have a kid
do you know that You know who that is? Tom
sigourin Nicky, Yeah, I do.

Speaker 8 (24:17):
He's really funny.

Speaker 10 (24:18):
He's got a couple of kids with her, and he's
really good friends with Joe Rogan, who's the mass Yeah
Bert Christ Did they do his show to the other Oh?

Speaker 1 (24:28):
Yeah, Oh he's funny too. Yeah, yeah that Tom Sigour
told such a great story. I don't know all the
beats to it, but about how he went back after
going to college and some guy offered him drugs and
ended up in the hospital and his mom and dad
had to come pick him up and it was really embarrassing.
It was great. It's a great Story's very funny dude,

(24:50):
very funny guy. So that should be great to listen to.
I shout out to Alex, Lily and Pete. They work
in the in the Burbank. In Burbank, I guess it's
city planning building inspectors. I had to go in because
we have a It's a long story, but we have

(25:12):
a whole house generator at our house and it caught fire,
so I had to go into the city to find
out if it was properly installed and if it's not,
do I have anything to do, and it was it
sounded like the beginning of a long battle. So I
went in, picked the number. You put your name in

(25:34):
and they call you. And before I sat down and
took out my cel phone, they called my name. I'm like,
what I was waiting for? Like thirty seconds and went
over and Alex and Lily or Lily runs a place
and Alex was there and the guy Pete, and I said, hey,
I got a really complicated question, but we had a
generator installed, but I want to make sure that it

(25:56):
was done on the up and up and has all
the permits and everything. Thirty seconds later, the guy prints
out the paperwork and goes, Yep, you're good. Everything's good.
You're fine. And I'm like, that is how a city
should run, Not like Los Angeles. We have to wait
for five hours and you can't get any information and
you can't get an inspector on the phone. City at

(26:18):
Burbank with Alex, Lily and Pete. That's how it should run.
So if you want to see a great city and
how it's run, go to a building and planning in Burbank, California.
You'll see him right there. And by the way, Angel
Martinez is Angel still whether she's gone? Okay? They knew

(26:40):
Angel Martinez and Sharon Bellio's full names. They said, how's
Angel Martinez and Sharon Bellio? They knew both of their
first names and both of their last names. That is awesome.
And so I know that that Angel, you know, sort

(27:01):
of tries to cash in on that with her flip flop.
But Bellio doesn't do anything about it. You know, she
has great name recognition in southern California and she sits
on her hands. You know, she said shirts that she sells.
It says, I'm Sharon Bellio or I don't know, playing
cards or a hat.

Speaker 8 (27:19):
But doesn't she give like chocolates to the flight attendance? Yes,
hopping on.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
Board right, but she's not making any money on that.

Speaker 8 (27:26):
But she's getting upgraded.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
Yeah, I get it. I get it. But she could
make a ton of money. Everybody knows who that woman is? True? Everybody?
All right, let's talk about Brad Pitt is in the news.
Brad Pitt, what's going on with him with his you know,
nine hundred kids? And I guess, well, let's find out
here what's going on with Brad Pitt and his kids?

Speaker 13 (27:49):
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's daughter, Zahara Jolie Pitt is
taking the next step and legally changing her name after
the twenty one year old file to legally remove her
dad's last name in June. She's taking the next step
in California's mandatory name change process.

Speaker 1 (28:06):
What's going on with these kids? You know that they
all don't want to have anything to do with their dad,
and they you know that Brad Pitt's a hell of
a guy. I like that dude.

Speaker 13 (28:16):
I like his movies too, According to court documents have
changed by e news par of the docs. Zahara published
notice of her petition in the Los Angeles Daily Journal.

Speaker 9 (28:26):
Notice is a crucial.

Speaker 13 (28:27):
Step for the Spelman grad as California state law says
the petition must be posted in a local newspaper.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
I'd be humiliated if my daughter went to city hall
and wanted to change her name and lose Conway and
wanted to change into something else. I'd be like, what
the F I dare you?

Speaker 13 (28:46):
For four consecutive weeks with anyone opposing the change required
to submit a written opposition.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
I'm going to I'm going to oppose the change. I'm
gonna be the pain in the ass. I'm gonna write
a letter. Yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna make this long
and as impossible to do for this young lady. I
might go, Nah, Nah, you gotta keep pitp You gotta
keep your name, last name Pitt for.

Speaker 13 (29:07):
The final hearing in order for a legal name alteration
to be made. US reached out to reps for both
Angelina and Bradford comment but did not receive an immediate response.

Speaker 1 (29:17):
He's probably got to think to himself, why do pain
in the asses? Some of these not all of them,
but some of these kids.

Speaker 13 (29:22):
The Horror file the petition in the LA Superior Court
on June fourth to remove her dad's surname from her
legal name of the Horra Marlee jo Lee Pitt petitioning
to be known as Zahara Marlee jo Lee moving forward.
According to documents obtained by E News at the time,
she signed her petition on April twenty eighth, just weeks
before she graduated from Spelman College with a Bachelor of

(29:44):
Arts in psychology and at the May seventeen.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
Oh, that might be the problem.

Speaker 9 (29:49):
Of arts in psychology.

Speaker 1 (29:50):
Yeah, she got a psychost She got a psychology degree,
and now she's blaming it all on her last name.

Speaker 13 (29:57):
And at the May seventeenth commencement ceremony, Sahara was called
to receive her diploma with the Fight Club actor's name
noticeably missing.

Speaker 1 (30:06):
Ah I would have said, then here's the bill for
the college. Baby. You want to take my name off it,
then here's what you owe the college.

Speaker 13 (30:13):
In twenty twenty four, Brad and Angelina is now twenty
year old daughter Shiloh also legally dropped her father's name
after submitting paperwork to drop the pit in her hyphenated
surname Angelina, who finalized her divorce from Brad in twenty
twenty five.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Let me guess Angelina wants to lose that.

Speaker 9 (30:29):
Name too, for following an eight year legal battle.

Speaker 13 (30:32):
Previously shared insight into how her daughter inspires her, explaining
during a Time one hundred interview in twenty twenty, I
have learned so much from her. She's my family, but
she is an extraordinary African woman and her connection to
her country, her continent, is her own. And it's something
I only stand back in awe of, Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (30:53):
A pain in the ass to have kids like that,
you know, it's just a I would go crazy. I
had like four or five kids, and three of them
want to lose the last name and and getting all nutting.
I think if you got good kids, man, you got lucky, right.
I mean, those those kids sound like a pain in
the ass. I bet if you had I bet, if

(31:15):
you had a couple of drinks in the brad, he
would tell you the same thing.

Speaker 13 (31:18):
Nothing.

Speaker 11 (31:19):
Nothing on the parents, though. Look, your kid would not
do that to you, right, My kid would not do that.

Speaker 1 (31:25):
That's right, that's right, because I don't know why or
why not. I could probably venture to guess, but I
also think that my daughter and your daughter would be
afraid to do that, you know, because the reaction wouldn't
be zero. You know, the reaction for me would be

(31:45):
what the F?

Speaker 13 (31:46):
No?

Speaker 1 (31:46):
I think? What? Yeah? The whole f work? What you
want to do?

Speaker 8 (31:56):
What?

Speaker 1 (31:56):
Firetruck? Yeah? F out of here? Well, then let's find
you an apartment that you can pay for. You know,
if you want to be on your own, let's go
at the full distance here.

Speaker 11 (32:06):
You don't want to be associated, that's right, Lose my address,
this name, embarrassing you.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
This name, this name which supported you. That's right, you
fed you. Everything in this house was made on this
on this show, and this name.

Speaker 12 (32:24):
Man, you like what you take it?

Speaker 10 (32:25):
Ut right now?

Speaker 1 (32:27):
This little piece of jewelry you got ticket out? Yeah,
give me that belly button ring.

Speaker 11 (32:33):
Notice there's a lock on your door, now, your bedroom door.

Speaker 1 (32:38):
I bet there's a story to that whole Brad Pitt
thing and poor guy God loaded to kids. This is KFI.
