I den tredje delen av Måltavlan följer vi med Kim ner i avgrunden, till det ökända fängelset Klong Prem i norra Bangkok. Vi lär känna fängelsevakten Bebe och den australiensiska kokainkuriren Stephen, som kommer att hjälpa Kim i hans jakt på sanningen. För det är när han sitter där, i helvetet på jorden, som en åklagare i Sverige bestämmer sig för att gå emot "myndighets-Sveriges" försök till mörkläggning, för att skipa rättvisa.
