Comedian, filmmaker, and activist W. Kamau Bell joins Obsessed to talk about America at 250, political comedy in the Trump era, the Nate Bargatze controversy, and why he believes comedians can't stay on the sidelines. Bell also reflects on his emotional conversation with Ted Danson about blackface, the changing landscape of cable news after CNN, the future of comedy, and the career lessons he's learned—from turning down Mitch Hedberg's mentorship to winning Celebrity Jeopardy!—in a candid conversation about ambition, accountability, and what's next.
