The Shelby Whippets got off to another hot start - and never looked back - as they beat Norwalk Saturday night, 64-44, in the Boys Division II District Championship game at Ashland High School.
The win gave the Whippets their first District crown since 1999 and pushes Shelby into the Regional Tournament vs Lima Shawnee on Thursday, March 11th ( 8 pm) at Elida HS>
Shelby in the District Final was led by TJ Pugh with 18 points, Cody Lantz with 16 points, Jeremy Holloway 10 points and Andre Hill with 8 points. (Aired 3/6/21)
