We got a call from a beautiful Matilda who's a
regular part of the show. He said, did you know
that whales and dolphins used to walk on the land,
to which we were all like what. I've googled it
and I've been a deep research in the last twenty
four hours because I just think a okay, just mental

image right now, Okay, a whale with four legs now
where they work? Is the whale walking on the two
legs on the bottom with the arms in the air,
possibly not too top heavy? Or are we going like
a dog?

Speaker 2 (00:46):
I'm thinking going like a dog?

Or is it lobster sideways? Oh I hadn't thought. I
think I think like a dog.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
But they're quite stumpy, so it's sort of like a
like a board.

Yeah, like a British bull dog, my dog? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
Oh my gosh. Well, whales, dolphins and porpoises they all
used to walk on four legs and poses.

What did they do like with the whale watching cruisers?
Then it was it was a sari. It wasn't on
the water SeaWorld Safari.

That's how the aqueduct evolved because they had some of
the whales on the land and some in the water.
Some hadn't quite figured it out yet, and so they went, Okay,
we can take these ones, guys, and we can also
go and see these.

We go look at the one doing the backstroke and
the free star take it out of the water, and
then we'll go and see Steve and his tribe, because
they're over there and they're the ones with the good
four legs.

They had hind legs and webbed feet. They could lok
on the land and they could all swim in the water.
So this is around fifty million years ago. They've found
fossils to actually say that this was in fact correct.

I just huge.

It would have been a boar. That's like a rugby
union player New Zealand rugby union player. That's yes, that's
the legs I'm thinking of. So they obviously and after
dinosaurs must have been yeah. And then they progressed and
the legs ended up just going away. Oh, which is amazing.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
I just I can't picture like the whale and a dolphin.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Were they're saying that a whale hunted for fresh I
don't know that would be you'd see that.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
What would on the land, like ducks and stuff.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Are the fish and small land animals?

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Did the other fish have legs too?

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Are they in the water? I don't know everything.

I haven't read all he said.
