You Alive and Local on the Gold Coast for a Friday.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
A bit of a discussion going around this week online
and everything else about which way you face when you're
in the shower, because someone actually posted a Canadian sort
of whatever smart person from Canada.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Said that New roy divergent mountings. Yes, apparently shower backwards.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
So if you're neuro divergent, you would shower backwards.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
And then someone what's backwards?

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Do you mean back to the water or back back?
As what is it?

Speaker 2 (00:43):
So?

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Everyone ignormous?

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Yeah, I am totally So is backwards with the water
on your back? Or is it with the water on
your face? Back to the shower door?

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Was asking the question.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
I didn't hear that. It's going through a tunnel. Was
in the shower, I didn't hear it. Which way do
you go? I rotate? Yes, I face the shower the
whole time.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Yeah, most of the time, and then turn my back
when yeah no, yeah, most of the time I face
the shower and then turn on my side.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
It's only half. Yeah, really not paid any really like
my left half. It's not your fine.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Fine, we're talking about this on the Today Show this
week as well, and one of the girls over shared
haven't listened.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Don't you sort of like rotate both?

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Do you wash your face while you're facing the water
and then you let the hot water just sit nicely on.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
You and wash your hair as well as I rotate.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
All the time back around.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
In the shower. Sometimes we have a seasonal shower.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Just don't you sit on the floor?

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Do you have a shower sometimes? If I just want
to show for that you need a break from bathing,
I just have a bar.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
I I think I get where you're putting down. She's crying.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
That seems like a spot to cry or have a hangover.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
If you hangover, you that's it.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Yeah, you're laying, yes, or just face on on tile? Yeah,
just on the tiles. I don't imagine sitting down and
the shop.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
I feel like that's incredibly dirty, even though it's your shower.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
I can the floor big clean with all the soap
and stuff on the washing all.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
The all the like moldy goo and goop.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
What do you mean moldy goo and goop?

Speaker 3 (02:36):
It gets a bit grotty? Thank you, thank you? Ben.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
All Right, I go front because my hair is too long.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
And again I was going to say it is a
dreadlock factor, too unmanageable for Trevor.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
No, I can't do that, so front for me.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Okay, we want to know.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
You do.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
God, that's impressive.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
So which way do you face when you were, you know,
in the shower. Is it towards the spray, back to
the spray, or rotating like riches ree chicken?

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Or do you sit on the ground on the ground.
I've just had a day, all right, Lisa from the ring?
What about you all?

Speaker 4 (03:20):
You're a divigin or you know a little special on
the spectrum. We're all with our.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Backs to the water, back to the water.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
Okay, so you don't rotate like a chicken.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
Maybe for a second just to wash my face off,
but even then I tend to just took my head
up and wash my face.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Oh really yeah, why do you think.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
That's on the neck and running down the back?

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Is it a sensory thing?

Speaker 4 (03:45):
I think it might be, to be honest, Like even
my husband Luis to have a stool in the shower
and he just sit on the stool with the water
running down, and my kids are the same. I'll go
in there and like thinking that they'd just be done,
and my son was like, sin, he's just sitting.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
In there with the water running back, reading a book.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Yeah, you don't want to make it too comfortymore.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Which where's your shower head sitting? Is it on the
roof or just on the wall.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
We've got like a dumple one now and they're really
nice so I can agle it though, So I angle
it a little bit tilting forward. Yeah, it goes on
the neck and runs over the shoulders and down the back.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Okay, cool, funny, like it's something that we all do. Yeah,
but we all do.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
It differently every and I have a routine I have
to follow.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Yeah, well, m chess, I have to follow otherwise I'm out.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Well yeah, now I do that because you'll forget and
then drying yourself too.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
Oh yeah, if I start driving myself the wrong way.
Hang on, something's wrong here, they said, what.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
We're not sure either, So listen again to Moirat and
Big Trev.
