Speaker 1 (00:00):
Microwaves when they first what I don't remember when they
first came out, but I do remember where the original
you would have been there.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
It didn't take long. You started then and then you
went straight You made them, did you show? But yours
was with the sun.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
You've got a friend of the show, Nathan here. We
usually talked about his disasters on our show because it's
just funny and we're glad it's not us. He showed
us a container that he put in the microwave the
other day to heart his food up, and he completely
melted the container, like melted in like it went like
like when you get like he sucks up the air out.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Of like because he didn't put the like there's a
little lead on the top of the air out and
he did not do.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
That because if you heal the if you put a
heat sealed container into a microwave, he melts.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Yeah, we blew up a salad. And when he said,
we me and my little brother, it's just we had
a full egg salad. And when he was doing it,
I said, I'll just chuck it and you can warm
it up a little bit, and then like chucked it in.
Didn't know there was a full egg in there and

(01:12):
then all hears.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
So was that the food exploding? Was that the microwave
just losing it?

Speaker 2 (01:18):
No, this is the egg, just the egg.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Okay, yeah, okay.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
No pressure and the whole thing is boom.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
That would have burnt.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Yeah, we had to chuck that holding out the microwave.
Yeah did you? Yeah? It was just would great. Mom
was not a big back in that day. They were expensive, yes, yeah,
like two hundred dollars real money.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
All right, we want to know your microwave disaster. The
stories jam donuts in the microwaves never a good thing.
The burning of the tongue.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Oh as it goes down your throat, Oh my gosh, God,
that's good.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
I'm misstone it alright so much.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Let's just to get microwave disasters.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
We set it on fire with a wheat bag. I'm
blaming my husband. Yeah, sure, yeah, you know it's like
two minutes't no, you know that really stinks for a
very long time when it's on fire.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Yeah, how long do you reckon it was in there for?

Speaker 2 (02:30):
I think you put it into four minutes or more
four minutes. That still doesn't seem like a lot of
grace period.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Now that even smells when you just warm it up.
That that that yeah, it looks.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Quite nice down the flames and the smell.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Oh wow, did you use it afterwards? Because that head?
Where is it?

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (02:54):
That's right, we said it on fire, that's.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
To the ground. We gave it a good heating, we did.
We heted the hell out of it.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Selena from the rang What did you put in the microwave?

Speaker 3 (03:10):
It actually wasn't me. It was my three year old No, no, no,
I had we'd had his little sister, and I was
down in the bedroom and all of a sudden I
could smell smoke, and I'm like, oh, what's happened. I'm
running to the kitchen and my little boy says to me, no, Mum,

(03:30):
I make toast. I make toast. He dragged a little
chair over, got up to the microwaves, put his bread in,
and just out of printing button. Before you knew it.
Can I fall a lot, and very very bad.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
I've never tried that.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
I don't want to know. Wow, but how long do
you reckon it would have been doing there for?

Speaker 3 (03:52):
Oh? I don't know. But it was extremely black smoking.
I was down the other end of the house and
it was smoking, at least he wasn't.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Yeah, what would you rather?

Speaker 1 (04:08):
Yeah, there you go, A bite

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Sized bit of Moira and big Trap
