Speaker 1 (00:00):
Every Saturday, around lunchtime, I go and catch up with
my younger son Credence, to have lunch. He works down
at the Lecal bakery down from theirhouse, so around about twelve,
between twelve and one o'clock, I go down there and
wait for him to have a bit of a break
and then we just catch up and have a drink
and discassin him about his day. That's nice. Grab a
curry pie. It is so good. It's not about the sun,
(00:22):
it's about the pie. Oh and Credence sometimes just gets
a potato pipe so good. As I was sitting there
waiting for him, I saw a young guy, probably in
his early twenties. He was heading out to his car.
He had four pies in his hand plus a drink,
so he was juggling it. He didn't grab a bag
(00:44):
paper bag, so he's just juggling at all, plus the drink,
so he hold him really close to his chest. He
then switched over to putting all the pies and the
drink in one hand and then opened his car door,
and as he went in, he dropped the pies and
the drink and then picked some of the pies up
and moved them over to the passenger side and then
went and got in his car and then you're here
(01:04):
and go, oh crap. And then he got out and
he had mince pie on the right side of his
brown pants and it was like all over the back
pocket and straight up and into like their skinneath his shirt.
OUCHI yeah, and that's why he went out, but said
something else. Yes. I was like, oh no. So I
(01:24):
walked over to our car and we've got wet wives
in there, grabbed a few wet wives, walked over to
him and he's bum sticking out of the car with
all meat pie hanging off of it, and he's just
scooping pie off his leather seats and trying to clean
up much as if possible. And I went, heymte, here
you go. There's some wet wives for you for your seats,
and there's pie all up your back. There goes well
(01:46):
and went on your bum, and he goes, can you.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
No, this is not a full service. I'm sorry. That
is above my pay or below depend on the day.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
Live in this area, and it's not going to look
good for me at all. So I gave it the term.
And then I saw him just wiping the pie off
and then Credans came out and I said, told Creden's
the story, and he goes, oh, maybe we should buy
him a pie. Said you can if you want to, mate.
So Credens went in, bought a pie, walked up to
the guy who was sitting to you, just sitting in
(02:21):
his car, and then Green goes here, that's for the
pie that you sat and he goes on, thank you
very much, and then off he went.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
That would sting too a warm pie.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
It was a bit of a chucolate at all. Do
you know what pie was? It was just a plain
meat pie. Because I got close enough to go, oh, yeah,
that's no potato, that's all beats.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
No curry in his pants, I'm not sure because the
way he described it was it was going into his
back Pocketry would get stuck in there longer forever, be
the curry p the curry brown pants, the brown boxy
brown pants.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
What did you sit in? Have you ever sat in anything?
Bubble gum, bubble gum, I've sat in. We went to
training the soccer over once and dogs sometimes gone.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
No.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
I had gray tracksuit pants on and right at the
Endsley tackled and then got up and then sat back
down to fix up my boot and sat right in
a real dog went hello, Hi, I will leave this
landmine and oh look someone telling it. So we want
to know what did you sit in?
Speaker 3 (03:41):
Not what I like. When we first got married, we
were in our parents in law's house for a while
by ourselves. Had a big, long hallway and you have
to get up at night and go to the blue
You had to go all the way to the hallway,
but in the dark, and so I never ever turned
the light on. But this one weekend they were staying
(04:01):
there and I went into the toilet and I went
to sit down, and I felt something furry, and then
I heard this voice and it said, is that you?
And I turned around. It was my father in law
was sitting on the toilet asleep.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
Oh no, I.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
Thought, we don't have a fairy seat cover.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
And I went, oh my god.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
And I wouldn't face him to the next week so embarrassing.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
That is a sensational story was going to I don't
know either, but he said fury.
Speaker 3 (04:45):
It was fury, okay, he was very.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
Jay.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
