So every Sunday night we do some form of a
roasted carcass. So we actually went early on Saturday night
and there was a lamb, there was a brisket.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Just walking past the back fence.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
There was a rump cap that's right, and there was
another some chicken and last night making up some pumpkin
prior to cooking it.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Clearly that's what you do animals. The animals back away
from the fire. I managed to.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Cut my thumb quite deeply and actually through the nail.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
As well, which way.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
So I was holding a piece of pumpkin and I slipped.
So I've actually puffed basically across the now from from and.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Then across on the top side. On the top side,
I don't think I've ever felt well.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
No, the pain was quite severe and there was a
lot of blood last night, so Paul was helping me
and we strapped it up and everything else.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
The meat and I went.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
I went on, I've got boxing in the morning. I
don't want to miss boxing. So when I got there
today with Angie Parr, she said, why don't you put
some eg gloves on?

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Which are the ones that you get?

Speaker 1 (01:25):
So I put those on and then she was holding
the pads and she said, well, just be really careful
with that l I said, yet, because it really hurts.
And that's when I wasn't careful and I actually punched
the bag.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
With my thumb, which.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Is some and seriously I almost threw up, like it
was that really it's because it's a really really deep cut.
I saw it this morning and I was under taking
the thing off before I went to boxing, and he goes, Mom,
you could die, and I was like, okay, mate, calm down.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
That's really bad, Mum.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
I want to have a look at it. Have a
look at because I've cut my thumb open. But I
was ripping the nail off my thumb. Why because you
know how you when you cut your now, there's always
that little bit there underneath it a there.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Was a week there, and as I pulled it, I
was like.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Oh, that hurts a little bit. But then as I
kept pulling it, it went into my thumb and then
pulled Yeah, it's just pulled all my thumb as I
was bleeding so much.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
It's amazing how much blood can come out of just
a well, quite.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
A deep wind the kitchen knife.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
And then I sent a photo to Eli and goes, hey,
you could.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Die, all right, things that make you go blur? What
have you for us? Mardey from Lebrador? What is your
story that's going to make us go black?

Speaker 4 (02:54):
What my whole knee open? You what I would have been?
And then my brother were playing at the backyards throwing
rocks and footballs at each other. I slipped and slashed
my whole knee like that. You could see the white
their blood, just pill white. I think it was a rock.

(03:15):
I don't know. My mom couldn't find what the rod
it was, but or she heard me yell, and then
I walked up to the front door and knocked on
and so she opened up and all you could see
was just a white bone, blood at all. So it
was like twenty three stitches on my knee.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Oh my god, free in your knee.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
Yep. I was then laugh about hilarious.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Sure that took a just a heal right because you
keep moving. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
I took over five and five and a half weeks
to heal and a half weeks. Yeah, So I couldn't go,
couldn't walk straight, just had to keep it straight. The
hotel caldn't bend it at all. Just literally fun as
an eight year old, you can't do anything.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Your idea of fun was just throwing stuff at you. Brother.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
I love that. Yeah, I'm not going around. And then
he was like, come next day. I'm so sorry, but
that was your fault. I didn't want to say that
back then.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
But anyway, the starting stories going.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
We're throwing footballs and rocks.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
And rocks at each other in the backyard.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Lilian from Bnora point, what's that story that'll make us go?

Speaker 5 (04:22):
When you you're a cleaner and you go to someone's house,
the skid marks are bad enough, but when you go
to clean their toilet and they haven't flushed their number two?

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Who was doing that to you?

Speaker 5 (04:34):
Lilian? Someone today today? Today happened today, So that's why
I did as you said it was.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Is that one of Is there anything worse than that? Lilian?

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Like, as a cleaner, I've had one experience that was worse.

Speaker 5 (04:55):
When I was cleaning in a local shopping center close
by to where Trevor lived.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Blaming Trevor. Yeah, absolutely, what did he do?

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (05:08):
It was it was my first gift as a cleaner
at the shopping center. Went to check the toilets there
and the tap was one of those long ones that
you like, like a kitchen one, but it had a
longer handle that was taken off and someone must have
been constipated and used that too.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Oh my god, no they did it.

Speaker 5 (05:36):
That memory will never be washed away.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
