you, you get upset.

I think it very personally.

The whole role is turned like that. Why is that?
Why are people so pressed up about it? Why do
you get pressed up on it?

Speaker 3 (00:29):
I think, you know, there's a rise in self centeredness.
To be quite frank, we all feel like we're the priority.
Like sorry, I'm just too busy, I can't get back
to you. But you know, since I'm the middle of
the universe, everyone should be getting back to me.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Asa asa. Yeah, I should get upset too.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
But then once I, like when I told myself, like
I'm that person is not realizing that I'm mad at
them for not responding, and that energy is just staying
with me, I just gave up. I was like, you
know what, it's a text message. They're gonna respond when
they can.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
It's nothing. If it's important, I'm gonna call you. Yeah right, yeah,
so mom, you can pick up my call. You're not
gonna pick up my call either. Well you're horrible at
that too. Oh no, okay, it depends, all right. So

Man unfortunately, and that's the thing about my music and
also that song. It is just unfortunately very honest.

So are you working on that? At least you wrote
a song about it? Can you work on that?

Or no?

I in a way, I'm working on it, but it
is cap lies in a way theoretically, but in reality
maybe not. You know, I think it comes over time.

I don't think we're I don't think we have a
show in Boston this year, but we definitely have a
lot of shows in the US. I have a solo tour,
my first ever solo tour, and I'm hitting Atlanta, Detroit,
New York, and LA and then some European dates as well,
and then for Infinity Song, we're doing like Philly, Ohio,

New York. I'm blanking on the rest of the dates,
but it's a lot of dates. Okay, So we're touring for
the rest of the.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Year between Philly and New York. If you have days off,
you're not that far from there. So you need to
come over here. I need to talk to your team,
and we talk to your managers because we need to
make this happen.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
No days off, this is you got to take off.
This is where you just go.

I know you got to rest your voice a little bit,
but if you're this close. You got to come here
and do a show out here too. But I need
to see you guys.

No, yeah you should. It's a really good show. I
don't know if you've seen Have you seen our Tiny Desk?
It just came out like last month.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
No, but now I'm excited. I love Tiny Desks. I
haven't seen that one. It's really good.

We were really excited. Obviously, Tiny Desk is such a
huge deal, right, but we just did that, and I
think that's a great like representation of our live show. Obviously,
it's a bit more like scaled back, yeah, because it's
supposed to be like super acoustic, but like you get
the energy, you get the vibe, you get the guitar solos,
you know. So it's a it's a good representation, but

our shows, our shows are crazier, honestly.

I would just say, lately, I've been like reminding myself,
like resist the urge to be a bystander in your
own life, Like take control, take charge, remember that you're
the protagonist in your life. Well, actually, I feel like
that kind of feeds into the self centeredness that I
was talking about.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
No, but you got to be like that, right, You
got to take care of yourself first, right, No?

Speaker 3 (04:29):
No, yeah, but like, don't be a person who is
like waiting, you know, waiting on the sidelines, waiting for
something to fall out of the sky. Be the person
to make it happen, and be the person to just
decide that it's your time, it's your year, and it's you,
and it's up.
