Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hey, welcome back to the Monsters Morning as you're Radio
one oh four point one broadcasting live on iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
It's eight o'clock.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
I'm Russ Rowlins along with Angel rivera Ryan Holmes, Daisy
del Toro back with us.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
I haven't seen her in a while.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
We got a special guest with us and I got
a couple of things to talk to him about.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Jason is here. Yeah, you know him as Superman HPV.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
We met several years ago and we've done some events
with Jason and he actually you put us on your car,
the Monster Monster emblem that you put on the car
that you are you're giving it away this Saturday Sunday.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Yeah, we're not actually giving it away.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
Mercedes Benz of Orlando So in Maitland loans us their
car for several weeks for April a head Net Cancer
Awareness month, right, and we wrap it with the names
of cancer patient, survivors and caregivers from all cancer types.
The money goes to support had NET cancer patents through
the head Net Cancer Alliance.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Yeah, but we wrap.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
It with with the names of those individuals, plus companies
that support us, such as yours. Letting us come on
the air and talk about April was headnet cancer, iess
month and others.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
And you do this because you you were told you
had HPV some time ago, and you thought you thought
it was over.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
You thought you thought it was going to be done.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
And you even made videotapes saying goodbye to your kids
like you would. You were really thought it was it
was going to be over.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Correct.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
So years ago, I found a bump of my neck
that appeared out of nowhere. I didn't know what it was,
went to the doctor. They put me on antibiotics and steroids.
Said if it can go away, we'll schedule phone need
a bob saying cat skin. At the end of the day,
I ended up being diagnosed with stage four HPV related
tonsole cancer, which back then it was a diagnosis literally
that no one had ever heard of. Right, So yeah,

(01:51):
I mean I started radiation chemo, I had a neck dissection,
and and was so worried that I made videos to
my three kids saying goodbye.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
And what people may or may not remember whatever with
HPV's that can be from sex you had years ago
that you know you've forgotten about, and it comes back
to bite you in the ass many years later.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Yeah, I know, and people always a little uncomfortable with
the topic. I'm not, however, Yeah, HPV most common sexually
transmitted virus on the planet.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
Three out of four adults by age thirty have the virus,
sixty two percent of freshman in college. Even I know
this will shock most people. In the last four years,
tongue throat tonsile cancer has actually surpassed cervical cancer and
become an epidemic among men really between forty and sixty
also impacting women.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
But you're right.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
I found the bump at age forty four, and they
believe that in college I was exposed at ages eighteen
or nineteen.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Not to make every man in this audience nervous as hell, but.

Speaker 5 (02:50):
Harry, time it comes in here just starts swallowing.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
It's like, oh and I think of all that.

Speaker 6 (02:55):
Oh I know, didn't you have competition.

Speaker 7 (03:01):
Of oh no, you real danger?

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Yeah, could be. I hope I'll die before I get it.

Speaker 5 (03:07):
But you've got hp hum vy.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
So so how can how can you do? Man? Well,
how can you check yourself? How can you make sure
you early? Jason?

Speaker 4 (03:18):
Yeah, so you know what, there is no actual test
like with cervical cancer. You can have a perhaps mirror,
one can have a phapsmere with With this there is
no test yet. The what you what you can look
for is that if you have a sword in your
mouth that's not healing. Yeah, right, when you get to
the dentist and check under your tongue and look everywhere,
or if you find a bump that appears on your
neck out of nowhere and again without I don't want
to be depressing. It's early in the morning, but I have.

(03:41):
I've been to someone's celebration of life in the last
month and another guy who who I got a video
from that he has less than four weeks left to live.
And his deal was this, he was a successful business person,
great family, doing well and didn't believe that he could
have cancer, right, and this bump appeared. And I do
with a lot of people that they end up taking one, two, three,

(04:04):
four years to go see somebody because they're guys and
they're too manly to go to the doctor, and they're like, yeah,
it's probably nothing. I would tell you this in all seriousness,
if anyone listening has a bump on their neck that
appears out of nowhere, go get it's not healing. I
would go see your ear nose and throat doctor. Period
end of story.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
No way too long.

Speaker 6 (04:25):
Yeah, I mean, you know because of you what I did.
I took my twelve year old son to get the shot.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
Can I tell you something?

Speaker 7 (04:31):
So, I'm so good I did that because of you.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
I will there's a thank you. There is a vaccine
that is for boys and girls nine and older. Yeah,
and it protects them from HPV preventable cancers. And again
I'll be quick about this, but there is orphrangio cancer,
which is what I had.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
It's either tongue, throat, tonsil.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
There is cervical cancer and just to tell you, Australia
is going to be the first country to eliminate cervical
cancer because of their increased HPV vacs nation rates. And
then there is penile cancer, vaginal cancer, vulva cancer.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
RRP.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
When a baby can get HPV in utero, I mean,
they're anal cancer and all of those can be protected.
And you can protect your kids from preventable cancer by
talking to their pediatrician and finding out more about the
HPV vaccine like you brought up.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
So it's good that you did that. That's good.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
So after so you did you have an operation? Is
that how you were cure?

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Word? I did? Okay, you on an operation?

Speaker 3 (05:29):
I did it.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
And then after your cured.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
You're like, Okay, I don't want anyone else to go
through this, and you started this this foundation.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Right.

Speaker 4 (05:36):
So I'm known as Superman HPV in the headnet cancer
world and shameless plug. I was just chosen as one
of twelve people speak at tedex Orlando, Oh Nice on
October seventeenth. I'm excited about it.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
But I am on the national board of the head
Neet Cancer Alliance, which is the five oh one C
three right, And the reason we're having this event this
coming Sunday, and it is to bring awareness because I
feel like if I can protect and prevent other parents
from ever having to make videos to their kids saying.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Goodbye, I would go public. Sure.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
And so that's why I went public.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
That's why I joined and became a part of the
head Neet Cancer Alliance, because people did ask my wife
even after I went started sharing my story, why isn't
he ashamed? They literally asked him I was going through cancer,
and they asked my wife.

Speaker 5 (06:20):
Why would they ask that?

Speaker 2 (06:23):
You know why, because it's sexual.

Speaker 7 (06:27):
He was, you know so, but with him, he can't
hide it anymore. I know everybody knows he's doing it.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Everybody knew it was it was college.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
It seems silly to me.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
I mean again, I can joke about this a little
bit and again you'll probably get a kick of it.
I'm either going to be known as the guy who
saves and protects millions of boys and girls for generations
to come from HPV preventable cancer, or I'm going to
destroy oral sex for the planet.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
And I'm really hoping it's the first.

Speaker 5 (06:54):
That I hope it's the first.

Speaker 7 (06:57):
You're fine, the rest of us are still going to
do it.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
So this this Sunday is the event. I've been there before.
It's very very cool. It's a Mercedes.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
Mercedes Benz located in Maitland.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
In Maitland. Yeah, they one in Maitland.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
Daisy, you'll you're going to have your tequila will be there,
my whiskey, Your.

Speaker 6 (07:12):
Whiskey will be there. We're going to have the girls
with the feather outfits. I'm going to do my best
to come at least for one hour because I have
another derby something event. Okay, charity Also that day you
know every time you do stuff, I actually have another
event like right before.

Speaker 7 (07:30):
I'm not being mean to you.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
But it's like, I just appreciate you making us a priority.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
So thank you in advance, and you put us on
the Mercedes you always say right now, logo is there.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Now here's what I want to talk to you about.
How the hell?

Speaker 1 (07:44):
And I've met your wife, so I think I think
I'm going to give her a lot of credit as well.
But how did you have two absolutely amazing children? I mean,
I mean both of your kids have been in here.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
And let me tell you this.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
When your son came in here, and he came in
here to talk about at Edgewater High School, he brought
that train.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
What was the train that it's.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
The Holocaust train.

Speaker 4 (08:01):
Now they put a memorial actually in Edgewater five by
foot million paper clips permanently in their hallway.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
He worked his butt off to get that there, to
bring awareness. And then he also has his own like
app for pickleball or something like, and he's like eighteen
or something.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
He's eighteen living in a yeshiva in Israel at the moment,
and he is he wants to raise a half a
million dollars for his pickable app.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
So when he came in, all the text we're getting was, man,
this we hear so much bad about the younger generation.
There's finally a good kid like so many people. And
then your daughter came in a couple of weeks ago,
and the same exact thing. You've got two incredible children.
Who do you give credit to? Do you think you
did it? You think it was your wife, You think

(08:44):
it was the combinations? How did you have two great kids?

Speaker 4 (08:46):
So let me add this Lauren, who came in a
few weeks ago. She's actually a twin. So I have
three amazing kids, right, Oh, please tell me the twin
is just bad.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
She's horrible, horrible.

Speaker 4 (08:58):
Now, to be honest, Ryan's great too, so he oh yeah,
you could interview him to if you want to. He's
he's yeah, just crushing it. He's a Northwestern mutually agent.
He's a good, great kid also. But you know, I'll
give the credit to my wife. I will tell you
that both of us were raised by great parents, and
we were certainly raised to know right from wrong. You know,

(09:19):
everything's black and white, not a lot of gray, and
we know that it's you can't just take care of
yourself but you need to take care of other people.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
And I think we instilled that in our kids.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
When your son said he was going to go to
Israel and you know there's a war there now, and
you realize.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
That, right he is in and out of bomb shelters
all the time.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
Yes, I mean I would tell my son, no, you're
not going. Why did you not do that?

Speaker 3 (09:39):
So he's like my my family.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Sorry.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
A lot of people have said that to us. And
here's the problem. When your kids are good and they
want to do something that they're passionate about and they
have not been a problem ever. I have an impossible
time unless it's illegal, telling Mike kids they can't do
it right, And so I typically just get out of
their way.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
I say, even if it's risky, I mean, it's risking.

Speaker 4 (10:06):
So I wish we had time, which I know we
don't have time. Yeah, but I would. What's at my
son in Israel right now? He literally I talked to
him this morning. He is walking on a beach and
hurts aaliya looking at the water, and I said to him,
yesterday he was in Tiberius and he's like, look across
the water, that's Lebanon. I go Are you not worried

(10:26):
about Hesbala or anything like that? He goes, Dad, they
don't fire in this direction. And he was literally he said,
he spent the morning playing volleyball with some Arab children,
kids his same age and others. He goes, you don't understand.
We don't feel that here. Yes, I've seen him from
his yeshiva, which is a Jewish school in Jerusalem. I've
seen the iron dome knockdown missiles from He's shown me pictures.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (10:49):
But he personally is surrounded by he's safe, he's always
near a bomb shelter. He is going to school, and
it's just a way of life over there. And yes,
I could have said don't go, but my parents didn't
tell me not to go. Study in Mexico and in
high school, we didn't have any idea. I was in

(11:10):
Brna Baca. We didn't have third cell phones. There was
no internet back then, so I talked to my parents
once a week on an house phone.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
Gotcha, Yeah, you know what.

Speaker 4 (11:18):
I just wanted to support my kids anything they want
to do, as long as it's not illegal, we will
support it.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
I got you. Okay.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
One last thing, I just learned something about you. And
I need I'll need your help here. I named your
help next January, January the thirtieth. Okay, we are trying
to break the world record for having the most Ryans
in one in one area. We got we got the
Ryan Meetup. This is something that's been a national thing
for three years. I had a meeting with the guys yesterday.

(11:45):
We're trying to get over two thousand, three and fifty
Ryans in one area. We're doing a big event. I
can't tell you where it is on the area, and
I can tell you.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
Off the area.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
And and if you've got a son named Ryan, yeah,
we need you to bring him to this big event
that doing. Of course, we've got Ryan Holmes here. He's
gonna be He's gonna be one of your hosts. I've
got a son named Ryan as well. We've got I
think Ryan Seacrest is going to be involved. We got
a bunch of other Ryans.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
It'll be there.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
We're gonna try to break the Guinness Book of World
Records for having the most Ryans. Do you think he'll
be available next January thirtieth for the Ryan Fest.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
One hundred percent.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
I have a question.

Speaker 4 (12:19):
If you have a if I know a girl named Ryan,
but it's spelled all Ryan's.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
Oh yeah, spelling all spellings of Ryan.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
As long as the first name is Ryan, it doesn't
matter their age or whatever. We've got to break the
record and uh and it's gonna be a worldwide call
for as many Ryans as possible. So if you've got
two Ryans you can bring them, that.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
Would be great.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
I have more than two, and that would be awesome.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
Okay, yeah, yeah good.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
And what they're gonna do like a surprise party Ryans,
but we're going to promote it. So what they want
to do is to get some people who uh they
bring a Ryan to the event and.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
Hey, surprise, this is Ryan Fest. You know it kind
of surprises.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
But it's gonna We've got television and we got local
TV support here, we got national support, and we're going
to try to break the record next January.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
So if you can help us with that, that'd be great.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
I would love to help.

Speaker 6 (13:04):
Oh I in my team in the celebrity bull rama
thingy uh huh, there were three other Ryans, remember that Ryan.

Speaker 7 (13:11):
We need four of us or four.

Speaker 6 (13:13):
Of you guys, and we took photos together. So what
if I grab those three extra Ryans we.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
Need as minute.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
We need twenty three hundred and fifty two Ryans to
break the record. Twenty three hundred Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
I think we can do it. We can do it.
An it's a national thing. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (13:29):
I was just going to tell you that our premier
sponsor is avent Health for our event Sunday. Yeah, but
I know three Ryans that work for avent Health.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
Perfect.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
We are a year of them. We have a year
to get it together once again. Tell people about the
event on Sunday.

Speaker 4 (13:41):
Okay, it is this Sunday, April nineteen five to seven thirty.

acknowledging the elephants boobs in the room.

Speaker 2 (15:33):

My wife was like at him, those are amazing.

Speaker 7 (15:42):
They well, maybe.

Speaker 2 (15:44):

Speaker 7 (15:46):
We should ask.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
We'll find out next Friday Leesburg bike Fest.

Speaker 8 (15:50):
Not that we had the chance to ask, but Ryan
didn't have the stones to ask the guy because.

Speaker 5 (15:54):
He was forgot what was her name?

Speaker 7 (15:57):

Speaker 2 (16:09):
I don't remember it. I do not. I was right there.
I don't remember that though.

Speaker 7 (16:14):

Speaker 1 (16:15):
Then at one o'clock it's it's a m w O wrestling.
We're going to have that at one ONX, the one
with Tuna. Tim are going to get an incredible intro
by the way, Uh, and Onyx the One will defend
his his title against one of the local part of
the most popular local independent wrestlers I've seen. It's his
name is Niles Cruz. He's got a lot of fans

(16:36):
and Uh he is getting a shot at the mw
title against Onyx the One.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
Have you talked to Onyx this week?

Speaker 5 (16:43):
Ryan, I have not. Onyx is a busy, busy man.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
I've talked to him several times. I'm just curious if
you had. He mentioned he hadn't heard from Tuna.

Speaker 6 (16:52):
Wait didn't I just see a video on your Facebook
that you're working out with him at four.

Speaker 7 (16:56):

Speaker 5 (16:57):

Speaker 7 (16:59):
Oh so, Ryan, right, I.

Speaker 5 (17:01):

Speaker 1 (17:03):
I'm working a really big There's only so much I
can say, but I'm working a really big deal with Onyx,
the one with m w A, wrestling with p w A,
which is a professional Wrestling Action, the a l W,
and the n w A. I'm putting in a bunch
of federations together for a big event, and I was

(17:26):
doing business like that yesterday. I can't say everything yet,
but I can say that we got some big things
happening for Onyx, the one who, by the way, is
going to be a spokesman for Gator Harley Davidson, and
so I got him an endorsement and he's going out
the Gator Harley on Saturday to do photos and stuff
at Gator Harley Davidson. So we got things happening for

Speaker 8 (18:12):
That's why Riot's got you know, get it, because it's

Speaker 2 (18:20):

Speaker 7 (18:27):
I don't know the wrestling stuff.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
That's okay, that's all right, sorry, Monster Sports going down.

Speaker 8 (18:34):
And after much hollo, little boo and whatever and arguing
and going back and forth, guess what's happening tomorrow? Rush, Well,
I think we have another game right playing tournaments. That's
happening again. To play in tournament is a tournament outside
of the playoffs, and they're playing to get into the playoffs.
Orlando Magic went up to uh Philadelphia, Yeah, and uh laid.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
A big fat turd. So you you seem to be
very upset with the Magic. Just it bums me out. Yeah,
you seem to be bummed at this time the season, Russ.

Speaker 8 (19:09):
You want to be like hit firing on all cylinders,
want to get up and down the court.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
You want to like have a a little hustle, like.

Speaker 8 (19:17):
A sense of purpose, the sense of you know. And
Desmond bin is the only one that showed out last night.
And even with that, the seventy six ers beat the
Orlando Magic one o nine to ninety seven. It didn't
seem like that. I don't if I remember correctly. I
don't think that there was a point where we led
in this game. We tied them a couple of times.

(19:37):
I don't think we've led actually, or maybe in our
first early minutes of the game. So tomorrow here in Orlando,
tickets are on sale right now.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
We got to get out and we got to get
out there.

Speaker 8 (19:48):
And support our team and help pick them up and
get them riled up and fired up and get the
attitude adjustment and get out there and be nasty about it. Uh.
The Orlando Magic will be hosting the Charlotte Hornets here.
Tickets are available, get them. Let's get out there. I
got a lot of people wanting me to host a
watch party. Rush, Oh, you should, but typically the watch

(20:11):
parties are done on the road.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
Oh, so we'll say.

Speaker 5 (20:15):
You didn't have a watch party on the road yesterday.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
We could have. We should the watch party.

Speaker 1 (20:20):
So this is all on you, not that why you're
so upsetting. He understands it's his fault.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
Heads know exactly how this works.

Speaker 8 (20:29):
They hey, where we're gonna pay you to go do
this and then go do this, And we had your
track record, and so those calls never came my way.
So it's their phone the fault.

Speaker 7 (20:38):
This is for basketball.

Speaker 6 (20:40):
Yes, So in basketball, is it like tailgating?

Speaker 2 (20:44):
No, that's why not.

Speaker 7 (20:46):
So what the heck is it?

Speaker 6 (20:47):
Then?

Speaker 8 (20:48):
But the watch party is no? No, the watch party
is like tailgating. We do typically we find a bar
and then we have a great partners with Michaelo Ultra
and so everybody comes to the bar and we're watching
the game. Got the Milk Ultra girls there and they're
handing out beers and swag and everything. So in that sense,
it's similar to a tailgating party, but it's usually at
a bar that's been selected by uh big.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
Ultrump Angel Agree or disagree a Texas service checking in
saying Paulo is lazy and he doesn't play defense. Would
you agree or disagree.

Speaker 8 (21:19):
With all the respects due? I do disagree. He does
sometimes seem to be it sounds like you are lack
of focus.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
Oh no, the dudes is like, he's a he's a
he's a baller.

Speaker 5 (21:31):
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (21:32):
I don't know what's going on with that team and
their chemistry and everything. And I know, like with that
without our true point guard Anthony Black, like at one
hundred percent, like we we missed that guy running the point.
Desmond Maine isn't a point guard per se. He can
he can hold it down, but he's not a point guard. Yeah,
so again we'll see. Uh, let's get out there tomorrow,

(21:52):
Kia Center.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
Stop laughing.

Speaker 5 (21:53):
Rsh.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
He sounds so defeated. You do not sound like you're
really into it. I am into it, I really Ryan?
Is he not like you? Straight? I could be frustrated?

Speaker 5 (22:03):
He could be frustrated. Yeah, he cares. That's what you're
hearing right now. You're hearing caring.

Speaker 7 (22:09):
You're in your feelings.

Speaker 2 (22:11):
Shit, thank you, so Daisy, that's to Daisy.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
If the Magic win tomorrow, Ryan wins two thousand dollars.

Speaker 7 (22:18):
Yeah, sap.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
If they win tomorrow, he wins two thousand dollars.

Speaker 6 (22:22):
I was talking about that. Remember I made that long
sheet about who was gonna win.

Speaker 1 (22:25):
What happened in second second?

Speaker 2 (22:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (22:29):
Who see how good I am?

Speaker 2 (22:34):
You copied off for him?

Speaker 7 (22:35):
And no I didn't. I was right over here by myself.

Speaker 5 (22:39):
Yeah, people wanted to see your long sheet.

Speaker 8 (22:45):
So we got that, and then we got uh, and
then the late game again, and this is what I'm
talking about, right, So there was our game and it
was kind of like hard to watch and whatever, and
then the late game was the Warriors and Sons, and
that game was up and down, fast paced Steph. He
looked like Seth Carey of old. And so then the
Warriors end up winning, and uh, and so.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
Song in the playoffs.

Speaker 8 (23:09):
Yeah, So the Warriors are going to be playing the
Suns and that will be the late game tomorrow night,
and then we'll be the early game so, like I said, we.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
Got time, we can right to fight. We're at home.

Speaker 8 (23:20):
Hopefully, the fact that we're at home makes the guys
feel good and we get everything together and we'll go
that now. One of the questions that we were that
was had arisen from the Charlotte game versus the Miami
Heat again with that that really egregious foul by LaMelo Ball,
the screams and yells for him to be suspended for

(23:41):
the game for this game against the Magic were crazy.
They felt like that was a flagrant foul. NBA went
back and looked at it. They did assess him at
flagrant two foul that goes on his permanent record, but
he was he will be playing in the game versus
the Orlando Magic. They're not going to suspend him for
that game, all right, Good on him. Other things that

(24:03):
we had yesterday was it was Jackie Robinson Day in
the Major League Baseball and there.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
Was a really weird report story going.

Speaker 8 (24:11):
Around about Manny Machado and I can't find anything confirmed
about that, but they were basically saying that Manny wore
his regular jersey and not Jackie Robinson's. Typically that's the
day where everyone wears the Jackie Robinson's number in honor
of that. But I can't and people have been texting
me about this, and I guys, I cannot find anything
that coroborates whatever these statements. And and then the Instagram

(24:35):
page that that there that's saying this is a parody page.
But it looks like Fox Sports but under like if
you look at the like the description they storied up
say it's a parody page. But a lot of people
are citing that page is that, oh, look, this is
what happened.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
So I don't know, I.

Speaker 8 (24:51):
Get outside of that. I can't see anything else that's
saying that. NHL Playoffs starts Saturday, RUSS Saturday. We got
the first round and so keep an eye on that.
Some of the first round matchups.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
So is the Tampa Bay Lightning or the end.

Speaker 8 (25:08):
Yeah, temper By Lightning will be going up against the
Montreal Canadians. Ah, that'll be their first round match matchup.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
And then go Lightning Yeah. And then yeah we're you know,
one of them one Lightning station. Yeah.

Speaker 8 (25:18):
And then Pittsburgh is going up against Philadelphia. Those are
some of the key matchups there.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
And then this weekend, I know we're we're a couple
of days from the weekend. But the Storm, the Orlando Storm,
are playing and you told me that, and then they're
gonna be out of town. And then also we've got
the other Orlando team, which is the Pirates.

Speaker 8 (25:35):
The Pirates are up in Jacksonville and the Storm are
at Birmingham, Birmingham out al Obama working on it right now.
See if we can get the QB for the Storm
for tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
So I'd like to talk to the quarterback of the
Orlando Storm.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
That would be cool.

Speaker 8 (25:48):
Speaking of NFL RUSSA, we've got the draft coming up
right around the corner, about like a week ten days away.
The twenty twenty six NFL Draft takes place April twenty
third through the twenty fifth, and it's gonna be in Pittsburgh.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
Remember how big of an event that was last year?

Speaker 5 (26:04):
Is Probablyburg last year when the draft happened.

Speaker 8 (26:07):
To set things that I would I will give credit
to the NFL where they've taken the Draft day on
the road and made it apart and it's a big,
huge party.

Speaker 7 (26:15):
Uh, we don't go to that.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
We should go to Pittsburgh.

Speaker 7 (26:19):
This would be fun.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
I would love to do a broadcast that let's go.

Speaker 8 (26:22):
Okay a yeah, it's only sixteenth thrust and this is
the twenty third.

Speaker 2 (26:28):
We get this turned around super quick with this company,
I'll see what I can do. I'm being serious too,
I'm serious.

Speaker 6 (26:34):
You know.

Speaker 7 (26:35):
Busses are super cheap. We can just all yeah, you.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Want to get on the bus and go to Pittsburgh.

Speaker 7 (26:42):
Is it too far?

Speaker 2 (26:43):
Will?

Speaker 8 (26:43):
I'll just say that's a wait, like a private bus.
Are you saying, like a greyhound?

Speaker 1 (26:48):
No?

Speaker 7 (26:48):
No, no, like a private bus?

Speaker 8 (26:51):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (26:52):
Now on he spent all her money on her nose.

Speaker 2 (27:00):
Buses?

Speaker 7 (27:02):
Yeah, wouldn't that be funny.

Speaker 6 (27:03):
I'm like, hey, guys, I am actually gonna pay for
the greyhound.

Speaker 2 (27:07):
All right? So uh real quick again.

Speaker 8 (27:09):
So the Pittsburgh it's gonna be the host city for
the NFL Draft. It's gonna be at the ACU Shore Stadium. Yeah,
and draft time, uh you know, we know how this
goes as first rounds are reduced to eight minutes this year,
and then doing a huge NFL Draft experience.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
At Point State Park.

Speaker 8 (27:28):
Coincidentally, I went to Point Park College, which is about
four blocks away from Point State Park. We used to
hang out there and have a good times. So again,
that's going down this weekend. I'm sorry, and they sit
next weekend next week, yeah, and then make the league baseball.
I had some scores here, but we can get back
to that later. And that's my sports. It's very nice,

(27:50):
all right.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
He want to remind you, right, so you know today
is National Chicken Palm Day. Okay, and you heard this
right of this mode is gonna brings some chicken palm
to try today.

Speaker 5 (28:01):
Oh hell yea.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
So we got just call will be.

Speaker 5 (28:04):
Fasting for us today, buddy, No faster.

Speaker 7 (28:06):
I want to hear something really cool.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
I did my fasting yesterday and I didn't eat until
one o'clock and went and gave my blood as soon as.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
I was done. You know what I had? I had
two of those.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
Little sandwiches how perfect hosts that they were perfect, But
I didn't grab any mayo, so I had like I
rolled on them.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
That was dry. Yeah, that was their gimmick, like all
the condiments were on the side.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
Yeah, I should have grabbed them, but uh but boy
it's sin and dry.

Speaker 2 (28:30):
I had dry sandwiches. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (28:31):
So uh but today we can eat all the chicken
parm we want.

Speaker 2 (28:35):
Hell yeah, so looking forward to that.

Speaker 6 (28:37):
So yesterday, I did research for top attorneys in Orlando. Huh,
and de Witt came up as a attorney.

Speaker 7 (28:47):
No, I didn't know it was mo.

Speaker 6 (28:48):
Oh he looked like twenty years younger. Okay, and it
was called the Wit. It was called the Witt something. Yeah,
it was not called just call Mo.

Speaker 1 (28:58):
Well, yes, Modu, Yeah, that's just his branding.

Speaker 3 (29:02):
No.

Speaker 6 (29:02):
Right, So I look at this guy and I'm like,
he looks familiar though, Like I was, like, this guy
is really good.

Speaker 7 (29:08):
So I click on him.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
Please tell me that sound is the actual moment? Yeah,
tell him that what he said, you've sat next to
the alert it was he said he looked a lot
younger than used a younger twenty years. Tell him that today.
Give me a review. Yes that I did like.

Speaker 7 (29:27):
To find out and he was top turning.

Speaker 2 (29:29):
Or LMBO or he's listening right now.

Speaker 8 (29:31):
Okay, thank you guys for texting this Chicken bar man
was an attorning real quickly.

Speaker 2 (29:36):
I want to wrote you.

Speaker 8 (29:37):
I complete forgot we had talked about this yesterday. Thank
you for my reminder. Orlando City did win their first
Round of the Cup game last night versus f C Naples.
They won one nil so again a couple of matches
in a row there where they seem to be getting
things together there.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
So all right, we'll take a little break more big
dumb fund when we come back. Don't go anywhere. You're
listening to the match of the morning. Telling the way this.

Speaker 5 (30:10):
Is?

Speaker 8 (30:10):
That?

Speaker 2 (30:10):
Is that a Spanish word? Is that a Mexican word?
What did you say? Did you telling the way this? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (30:17):
Yeah, telling no way?

Speaker 2 (30:21):
Those confidence that he jumped into learn with his chest first,
like he was nailing telling the way. This is how
you say it. No teleor no balas. Yeah, loss lost
Mexican soap opera.

Speaker 7 (30:38):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (30:39):
I want to know about your mama. It's it's the
Mexican It's the Mexican soap opera.

Speaker 2 (30:45):
That is Daisy and her Mama. We haven't heard. Man.
I thought I nailed it. I thought I said it right.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
I thought it was going to impress you with a
Spanish word, and I blew.

Speaker 7 (30:54):
It and you and you even had your chest out
for real.

Speaker 2 (30:59):
Way, tell the waves.

Speaker 1 (31:02):
Tell us about the last we heard your mom was
dating a forty five year old man.

Speaker 7 (31:07):
He's fifty one.

Speaker 1 (31:08):
Turns out, oh he's older than that. Okay, he's fifty one,
but your mom's eighty four.

Speaker 7 (31:12):
Eighty eighty, okay, he's gonna be eighty one.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
So this is the guy from PR, right.

Speaker 7 (31:17):
No, no, no, so oh oh so the he's not even.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
Puerto Rican anymore. No, no, no, no, no, the PR guy
was her.

Speaker 6 (31:23):
It was groundscaping, which I shouldn't say he's my landscaping guy.

Speaker 7 (31:29):
I should say he volunteers.

Speaker 1 (31:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (31:31):
No, there was a beautiful story about it because like that, Yeah,
the guy had he had his business in back of PR.
There was a tragic event that happened at his business.
He left the island and in a very nice kind
of way, he and your mom kind of had met
a little bit and then but he the way that
they met was that he just took up. He felt

(31:52):
very like his daughter, right, that's right, and that he
started taking care of your.

Speaker 6 (31:57):
Lance, which by my garden is amazing. Yesterday I got
the first cucumber that I and it's all thanks to him, because, like, honestly.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
I thought that's the guy we were talking about.

Speaker 5 (32:07):
Russe the fifty one.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
Okay, okay, what's talking about the guy in Mexico? Still?

Speaker 1 (32:11):
Oh okay, Well, actually I was curious about the one
that she was dating recently that was your gardener.

Speaker 6 (32:16):
So so my gardener is they weren't dating, he fell
in love, but she was still thinking of the fifty
one year old.

Speaker 7 (32:27):
Oh, which turns out, oh mg, this is really really
bad just telling you.

Speaker 8 (32:34):
Well, because this guy is the guy that's been emailing
all the women in your family trying to hook up
with adel Tora.

Speaker 7 (32:39):
That's a bad one.

Speaker 5 (32:40):
Yeah, yeah, turns out it's a del Tora horror trying.

Speaker 7 (32:45):
She is first cousin with my sister in law.

Speaker 2 (32:49):
Related to you.

Speaker 5 (32:50):
So he's actually was not me.

Speaker 6 (32:52):
To my to okay, to my brother's wife's kids. He's
an uncle.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
Wow, okay, and Russ's world, that's not a problem.

Speaker 7 (33:02):
It is a problem.

Speaker 2 (33:05):
Cousins before your.

Speaker 1 (33:07):
Cousin only one, and I didn't know she was my
cousin until afterwards.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
Anyway, Well you know how they kept going if they
say it's wan, there's a dozen and I was twelve,
you kissed you.

Speaker 1 (33:19):
I was twelve, Okay, crazy, You've got a lot of cousins.

Speaker 5 (33:22):
I mean, you've never actually okay.

Speaker 6 (33:24):
I accidentally fell in love with my cousins. However, I
never kissed him. It was just like a platogenic.

Speaker 5 (33:32):
In Mexico.

Speaker 2 (33:33):
We don't do that.

Speaker 6 (33:37):
Stop tricking me, man anyway. So it turns out he's
actually family with my sister in law. And now my
sister in law is totally hurt and disappointed.

Speaker 7 (33:51):
Right, so I guess things weren't going very well.

Speaker 6 (33:53):
And before my mom went back to Mexico, the neighbor,
my neighbor, came over and hand in my MoMA one
thousand dollars genuine pearl and gold bracelet.

Speaker 7 (34:06):
Oh wow, right before she left.

Speaker 2 (34:08):
There's a whole new guy.

Speaker 7 (34:09):
Yeah, whole new guy.

Speaker 2 (34:11):
What is your MoMA? Your mama must be.

Speaker 5 (34:14):
Like I think I've seen her. I've seen the photos
for eighties. She's pretty hot. I would give her a
pearl necklace.

Speaker 2 (34:21):
I don't know if she you dirty or.

Speaker 7 (34:26):
I do know that one Jesus.

Speaker 2 (34:29):
Of all the ones.

Speaker 1 (34:30):
And your mom only speaks Spanish, right, So the neighbors,
that's the neighbor that gave her the one pearls Yeah,
he speaks Spanish.

Speaker 2 (34:40):
And before she left, he gave her a.

Speaker 6 (34:42):
Book, gives her this bracelet, right, and so he had
already asked for her phone number.

Speaker 7 (34:47):
She never gave him the phone number.

Speaker 6 (34:50):
So when he came to give her the bracelet, he
left his phone number for her.

Speaker 7 (34:54):
To call him.

Speaker 2 (34:55):
Uh huh.

Speaker 6 (34:56):
However, in Mexico, you know, like, my mom doesn't really
know how to call the US because you know, you're
supposed to put like I think it's.

Speaker 7 (35:03):
Zero zero one or zero one or.

Speaker 6 (35:06):
Something like that is some country code. And so she
couldn't get a hold of him.

Speaker 7 (35:10):
So then my mom calls me, Ola, miha, how are you?
And I'm just like, I'm Mom, you never call.

Speaker 6 (35:17):
I mean sometimes we go a year without talking, okay,
And I'm like, what's going on.

Speaker 7 (35:21):
She's like, oh, could you do me a favor? I'm
like sure. She told me to give her number to
the neighbor.

Speaker 2 (35:28):
Oh, because he gave her that the bracelet.

Speaker 6 (35:31):
It turns out when she got back and found out
that the other guy is family with our family and
he's out.

Speaker 7 (35:37):
He's out. Now she's talking to my neighbor all the time.

Speaker 1 (35:41):
Your neighbor, the gardener. Yes, okay, we like this.

Speaker 6 (35:46):
He's seventy eight years old, he's a you know, a widow.

Speaker 7 (35:49):
He has his own retirement, his own everything.

Speaker 2 (35:52):
I like it.

Speaker 6 (35:53):
And this guy is Puerto Rican, so like nobody in
miss You know anything about that.

Speaker 8 (35:57):
I'm telling you right now, that guy gets her to
the island, She's that's what I'm thinking, she's never gonna leave.

Speaker 7 (36:02):
I'm thinking the same thing.

Speaker 6 (36:03):
I'm like, if this guy takes my mom to the
beach in Porto, she's gonna be.

Speaker 7 (36:09):
Like, yep, so this is where she's talking to my
neighbors's gonna talk to you. He probably tells her some
sweet stuff.

Speaker 6 (36:20):
Right.

Speaker 1 (36:21):
What would you do if it's, say, a year from now,
whenever your mom said I'm gonna get married.

Speaker 8 (36:25):
Oh god, oh god, wouldn't you be a little bit
more at peace though that? You know, at least this
guy has his own stuff. Yeah, I know that's been
the biggest issue. But as far as this goes, this
guy has, then you've got a gardener forever.

Speaker 5 (36:39):
Yeah, really has a tight huh.

Speaker 2 (36:44):
Yeah, this is the second You know, why the second.

Speaker 6 (36:47):
Gardener because she had a grudge on my dad because
he never helped her change our diapers, He never helped
her cook, he never helped her do gardening. Because you know,
my dad was a business man, and you know, think
about my dad's position. He had thirteen people to care for,
He had three houses, a bunch of mountains, like hundreds

(37:09):
of cows, multiple reponsibility, you know what I mean, Like
he had all this on his shoulders.

Speaker 2 (37:13):
It was his all.

Speaker 1 (37:14):
I mean, was he growing tequila or was he growing avocados?

Speaker 6 (37:17):
At that time, my dad was mostly like cows and wood.

Speaker 7 (37:22):
I told you that you would. Yeah, they would throw
the wood and sell the lumber for tables and stuff.
So he was more of that.

Speaker 6 (37:30):
And so he's got a lot of business like responsibility,
a lot going on. My mom expected this man to
come home and garden with her.

Speaker 7 (37:41):
Are you kidding me? So now she finds these.

Speaker 6 (37:44):
Gardeners who dedicate their gardening life and she's.

Speaker 7 (37:47):
Like, oh, I'm in love. I'm like, Mom, oh my god.
She doesn't get it.

Speaker 6 (37:51):
Man, she's never been ahead of household. I get it,
but she doesn't get it. I'm like, do you know
what my dad was doing? Like how dare you think
it's going to come like.

Speaker 7 (38:04):
Chicken and like cook a chicken? Like he doesn't care
about none of this.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
So she's back. She's back in Mexico now.

Speaker 6 (38:09):
Yeah, but I think she's going to come back to
visit me soon, which is.

Speaker 7 (38:13):
Sad for me.

Speaker 1 (38:14):
We can't get her to come in here. But she
didn't speak English, right, No.

Speaker 6 (38:17):
You can translate for I don't want my mom to
know I ever even speaking about Remember.

Speaker 8 (38:22):
Remember when Daisy comes here, she's slumming right, right, So
she brings her mom back here. Her mom's going to
go back to Mexico and be like, you should see
the Americans that Daisy, uh, you know frolics when you know.

Speaker 2 (38:39):
All these poor people.

Speaker 6 (38:40):
When I tell her we're doing brew buzzing, she's gonna
be like, you're doing what I.

Speaker 5 (38:46):
Say, Das you bring your mom and we'll all be
on our best behavior for that segment.

Speaker 8 (38:50):

Kingdom of Fraud

Kingdom of Fraud

It’s the unlikeliest of criminal partnerships: a devout polygamist from an insular Utah sect joining forces with a shadowy Armenian tycoon from LA. The result - a billion dollar fraud conspiracy. In Kingdom of Fraud, investigative reporter Michele McPhee traces the origins of the extraordinary alliance between Jacob Kingston and Levon Termendzhyan. Together, the two men trigger the largest tax investigation in American history and weave around themselves a web of dirty cops, influential political relationships and transnational money laundering. All this is set against the backdrop of Jacob Kingston’s clan – The Order. A powerful and secretive polygamist organization in Salt Lake City. To whom Jacob is desperate to prove his worth.
