Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hey, looking forward to tomorrow. Tomorrow, we're going to be
out at Fitmasters and Forer's in Mount Dora.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Come say hi.
Speaker 1 (00:08):
Angel and I are going to be your MWO announce team.
Wrestling's happening at 4 o'clock. Bell time's 4. There's going
to be college football on the big screen. You've got
live music, beer, bacon, barbecue, bourbon. It's going to be great.
Tomorrow in Mount Dora, join us.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
What's up? I'm Russ Rollins along with Savannah.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
Hey!
Speaker 2 (00:29):
Amber Nova.
Speaker 4 (00:30):
Hey.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
And now it's time for Angel to bring you Monster Sports.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
Monster Sports brought to you by Mark Spain Real Estate.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Hello.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
Mark Spain Real Estate. I appreciate them jumping on Monster Sports.
If you're looking to buy or sell your home or
if you're looking for a job, Mark Spain Real Estate
is hiring. Sports can be fast and furious for us.
We've got a lot of stuff to cover. Up first,
Orlando Pride. They are on the road. They're going up
against the KC Current. That match is going to be
at about, what time is it? I had it here earlier.
Eight o'clock. So you can catch that match at eight
(00:59):
o'clock on the local level. Orlando City takes on Toronto
this Saturday. We're favored in the match, but we really
did have a difficult, not difficult. Just an energy-exhausting match
on Wednesday versus Atlanta, so recovery and rest is important
when you have a match like this coming up at home.
This is one of those, I don't want to say
(01:19):
called trap games, but you don't want to drop your guard.
We should win this, and we should win this match handedly.
And again, to you, our... progress forward in the Eastern
conference NASCAR weekend. And, uh, we're going to be in Illinois.
It's the enjoy Illinois 300. And that's going to be
at three o'clock on Sunday. And then formula one is
(01:40):
in Spain. Russ is the, uh, the Grand Prix of
Spain and they're debuting a brand new racetrack. If there's
one race that anybody watches, let this be the one
that you watch this weekend because, uh, the first initial
reports is it's going to be a mess. Uh, They've
already had one of the lower classes race on that,
and they had 19 red flags, 20 red flags for
(02:02):
that race. That means they had to stop the race
because cars are bouncing off walls and bouncing off each other.
The initial reports from the drivers is that this is
a very technical track. Again, brand new for them, so
definitely check that out. That's going to be on Sunday.
What else? Yeah, practice already started with the Grand Prix.
Clippers news. The feds have jumped on the Clippers. Again,
(02:24):
the Clippers were the team that got in trouble for
arranging payments for Kawhi Leonard, and now the feds are involved.
They're going to investigate them so it could potentially lead
to a place where Steve Ballmer, who is the owner
of the Los Angeles Clippers, could have his hand forced
and he would have to sell the team. Or someone's
going to jail at this point when you have the
feds involved. But we had NFL action last night.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Yeah, the big question was answered, I think. The question of,
you know, going a week early and setting it in
and getting to Australia. And I was going to talk
to Savannah about this. Savannah, what do you think? Okay,
if it were you, and you're in charge of a
football team, and you're going to be flying over to Australia,
which you've done many times, would you go over a
(03:09):
week early so you can get used to the jet lag,
or wait and the night before the game fly over
and play the game?
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Um.
Speaker 5 (03:19):
I mean, there's a lot to be said for both,
but I would go the week early and get accustomed
to what's going on over there. The weather's different. Everything's different.
I would definitely go early.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
Well, obviously, that was the correct answer, right, Angel?
Speaker 4 (03:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
I mean, you've got to take that into account. I'm
not going to dismiss that. The 49ers did jump all
over the Rams 27-7. I think the other people that
are prognosticators and everyone forgets is that all these guys
are professional football players, and I think the Rams are
going to have this kind of– The Rams are going
to get everyone's best game because everyone's anointed them the
(03:53):
champions already.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Yeah, the Rams were favored, but got beaten handily, right?
It was 27-7?
Speaker 2 (04:00):
They got worked, 27-7. And I think that's just going
to be the start of it. I don't think the
Rams are going to have as easy a season as
people thought.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
You don't think the jet lag had anything to do
with it?
Speaker 2 (04:10):
I can't discount that. I think I'm sure. But if
you're watching the game, you could tell the 49ers, they're
not punks. And they weren't on their back foot. They
were definitely the more aggressive team. And maybe that could
be attributed to being there, being more comfortable, having some
(04:32):
time there. So I wouldn't out of hand dismiss that.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
So Savannah, in Australia, they had 100,000 people there to
watch NFL football.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
It was crazy. The stadium was packed.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
Oh, I'm sure.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
The stadium was packed. They talked to Roger Goodell before
I kind of watched it.
Speaker 4 (04:45):
They like sports in Australia.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
They do, man.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
And they were all about NFL football. So it looked great. Like,
the stadium looked... Let me.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
Ask you guys this, though. Because the stadium looked awesome.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
Is that the stadium where they played their version of
football that's got, like, the... That's the cricket stadium. That's
the cricket stadium.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
They've hosted... hosted Summer Olympics in that stadium. Oh, wow.
But that's the stadium that they do cricket as well.
I'm sure that, you know what, they probably have hosted
some rugby there as well.
Speaker 5 (05:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
But they've got their version of football. Australian Rules Football.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
That has like three different goal posts or something. And
it's mostly about kicking and... And so they must have
played that there, too.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
But I'm curious. And listeners, let me know. Hit me up.
Real Mobile 77031. What did you guys think of the pregame?
What did you think of Netflix and the way that
they put their pregame show? Because that's where sometimes that's
the main difference that you're going to see in the pregame.
In the presentation, the way that it's delivered, did you
(05:45):
like that crew? Did you like the way that they
did that pregame, or was it just like anybody else?
Because I've noticed with some of the streamers, it always
seems just a bit off to me. I'm saying that
about all of them, the way that they do their
pregame show.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
I saw the interview they did with Roger Goodell, and
whoever she was, the announcer or the lady who was there,
Al Duncan.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
So I don't, for some reason when they, they made
him put on a jacket that looked like a kangaroo,
they kind of like tried to silly him up.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
I don't know why I didn't like that. It's like,
that's the NFL though. Don't put that on Netflix and
them NFL agreed to that. Well, I mean, he didn't agree.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
It looked like they just threw that jacket like, hey,
we're putting him on the spot. Wear this kangaroo thing.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
But, you know, all right, come on. You know, all
of that is scripted. None of that is improvised. Every
second of that. It didn't seem like it. But, okay,
either way, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
I was like, why are you making the main man
in the NFL look like a goof in a kangaroo jacket?
Speaker 2 (06:49):
Fair enough, yeah.
Speaker 4 (06:50):
Fair enough.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
I can see that.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
All right.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
Some of the matchups that are happening up the rest
of this weekend. We got the Buccaneers versus the Bengals.
Go Bucs. Saints and Lions. Ravens and Colts. The Jaguars
versus the Browns. Go Jaguars. Jets versus the Titans.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
Oof.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
Bills versus the Texans. Russ's new team, the Bills, they're
going up against the Texans. Steelers take the Falcons. And
did you guys see the report about Tua? Yeah, he's
already hurt. Reports are that he hurt an oblique throwing
the ball.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
Oof.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
And uh so he's questionable he's questionable this guy's been
so expensive for so many teams in so many years
and he falls but now he's at the place falling
apart during his injuries are just this that was the
that was the one that's the report yesterday when it
came through uh ray ray sent it out to us
(07:46):
that's the one that's the first time i think i
felt bad for the guy I don't. I'm just saying,
you're in practice, dude.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
He got his bag so many different times.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
I'm not mad at him for his money. His money
is money. I'm just saying, you're just warming up. You're
just throwing the ball that you're supposed to be.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
Able to throw. He got the guaranteed money from the
Miami Dolphins.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
The Miami Dolphins are paying a majority of his salary
right now.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
So why don't you just go listen to what?
Speaker 1 (08:14):
Maybe I should just go ahead and just.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
Stay at home and chill.
Speaker 4 (08:20):
You know what?
Speaker 2 (08:20):
He might have done that. But guess what? The Atlanta
Falcons stepped up and said, hey, they're going to pay
most of your salary. You're only going to cost us
this much. Do you still want to play football? Yeah.
And if someone's still going to pay you to play football. Well,
you know, I can see why someone would stick around.
We got the Bears and the Panthers on Sunday. That's
one o'clock game. Packers and Vikings. That's going to be it.
That's going to be a heavy hitter. Dolphins and Raiders
(08:44):
on Sunday. Cardinals Chargers. So are the Raiders supposed to
be good this year? They're going to be all right.
They're going to be all right.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
And this game is in Vegas?
Speaker 2 (08:55):
This game is going to be in, yeah, Allegiant Stadium,
Las Vegas, which is a cool-looking stadium.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
This is one the Miami Dolphins might be able to win.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
You don't think so? No. We got Cardinals and Chargers,
the Commodores versus the Eagles, Cowboys and Giants, and Broncos
and Chiefs. That's your Monday night game, and that's Monster Sports, Russ. Hey,
you know what?
Speaker 1 (09:19):
I want you to know that I am definitely a
big fan because even though you told me about uh
team usa winning yesterday morning because they played at 5
30 yesterday morning saturday games at two so it's easy
to catch i still went home and watched the whole
game uh even though i knew what the outcome was
because i wanted to see how.
Speaker 4 (09:36):
We get it you're a lesbian and to.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
Watch and to watch caitlin clark with angel reese play
together those two play together great like if they ever
could be on the same team uh that would be
awesome oh my god all the all the you know
the media is trying to make it seem like oh
they hate each other but uh But they played really
well with each other.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
Absolutely. Like I said, Spain, and this is for the
FIBA World Cup, and this is the quarter semifinals. sorry,
and they play Spain, and that's going to be at
2 o'clock Eastern time, so we should be able to
catch that one on TV. 2 o'clock on Sunday? On Saturday. Saturday.
We're going to be at the gig.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
I'll be at the gig.
Speaker 4 (10:10):
Okay, all right.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
Well, maybe we can give them a look.
Speaker 4 (10:11):
Pull it up on your phone and watch it, you nerd.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
I might do that.
Speaker 5 (10:14):
Too bad you don't have an open-up phone like a book.
You can watch it on a bigger screen.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
That's true. I could.
Speaker 4 (10:19):
Or you could take an iPad.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
Yeah, that's true. All right, we'll take a little break.
Don't go anywhere.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
You're listening to the Macho of the Morning.
Speaker 4 (10:24):
Happy Friday to you.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
What's up? How y'all doing?
Speaker 1 (10:32):
I'm Russ Rollins, along with Angel and Ryan, Amber Nova,
and Savannah here today. Hey, Savannah, so I saw on
social media, because, you know, a lot of people come
out to Gatorland and visit, and you've got celebrities that
come out, and you had a comic come out there,
Little Duval.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
Little Duval!
Speaker 1 (10:49):
Now, I swear to God, I thought I had met
him before. I thought he had been in here before,
and I talked to Angel about it, and Angel said, no,
he hadn't. And then when I saw his picture, I realized, yeah, no,
I don't.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
Think I had... A little Duvall making an appearance on
this show would, uh, yeah, it would be a barn burner.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
How would I know?
Speaker 4 (11:06):
I don't know how I would know little Duvall. He's
a famous guy. He sings that song smile, bitch.
Speaker 5 (11:12):
He has another song called, are we effing tonight? Uh,
he has another song called activities. Uh, he has a
lot of music. He's definitely a Florida centric comedian slash
musician slash rapper.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
We've talked about him. Is that right? We've brought him
up and passed him because of all the different things
that he's done. Yeah, I can't figure out why. I
know he is, but I didn't recognize the place.
Speaker 5 (11:40):
He had a movie premiere last night in Jacksonville that
was completely sold out or I would have gone. So
he has a place called Camp Duval where.
Speaker 4 (11:48):
He brings people out, teaches them how to fish. They
go boating, all that kind of stuff.
Speaker 5 (11:52):
And so so here's a great example of how to
be a good celebrity.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
Right.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (11:58):
I followed this guy for years.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
Right.
Speaker 4 (12:01):
For years.
Speaker 5 (12:02):
And I always thought, all right, if we ever meet
each other, we're going to be best friends. Right.
Speaker 4 (12:06):
And any time you think that usually you're wrong.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
Right.
Speaker 4 (12:10):
Like something goes wrong.
Speaker 5 (12:11):
But when I saw him and his crew walk up
to that big gator mouth, I was like. I've been
trying to get y'all here for years. And he was like, well,
I'm here now, baby. Let's do it. And we had
the best day. We spent the whole day in the
hot Florida sun. We had the best day at the park.
He did the Jumperoo show. He was all about all
(12:32):
the fun, exciting things. His whole team was.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
And then like.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
You got some great footage.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
All.
Speaker 5 (12:38):
The way into like all the way into the night.
Like his soul, his show was sold out, which is
why he doesn't really come do things. Cause he always
sells out.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
Where was he?
Speaker 5 (12:49):
He was at the funny bone. So Krista hooked it up.
Like I called Krista. I was like, Hey, I want
tickets to this show. And also I want him to
come to the park. So she reached out and she
got it all set up. So they would come. We
had the best day ever. His crew was amazing. They
were so funny. There was this girl named Erica Duchess,
who's a female comedian. And I have to tell you,
(13:11):
she made me laugh so hard. I was crying and drooling.
I was laughing so hard. I can't remember the last
time I've laughed that hard at any comedian. And like
in the, and even after the show, when I went
in the back, they were like, Oh, savannah pulled up
so so it was exactly like i would have dreamed
it would have been.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
So he doesn't do radio because he doesn't need to
because i mean i.
Speaker 5 (13:32):
Think he does if if there's like like he probably
did in jacksonville for his movie premiere but also it
was already sold out yeah so.
Speaker 4 (13:39):
I don't know if it i don't know see i.
Speaker 5 (13:42):
Think he would be kind of top tier but i
don't know if he just has a big underground swell
angel what do you.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
Think oh no he would he would definitely like for
example let's put it this way russ Uh, and she
kind of said it, we do, he's doing the funny bone.
He knows he's going to sell that out. If he
was going to do, let's say the, the, uh, the
Reno over there at UCF or a bigger venue, I
would anticipate that he would do a radio, you know?
Speaker 4 (14:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
Cause he does do radio. He's, you know, he's been
on other shows and he's been out there on other
I heart radio shows and everything.
Speaker 5 (14:12):
But you know how, like you go to some comedy
shows and then like, like the opener is good.
Speaker 4 (14:17):
And then the first acts. Okay.
Speaker 5 (14:19):
And then the, you know, and then it gets better.
Like every single show, was so amazing. And it's such
an interactive show because like, if you know his body
of music and like, you know, kind of what he
is and what he does and how he talks, like,
like it was like, sit down, laugh, get up, sing,
sit back down, laugh, get up, sing another song. Like,
(14:41):
and everybody knew every word to every single song. And
it was just like the, the coolest group of fun
that I've had in a very long time. And I
went by myself. yeah which is completely out of character for.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
Me why you go to things i don't ever go.
Speaker 5 (14:57):
To things by myself no unless i just have to
like but i definitely am not going to a comedy
show by myself but i went to the comedy show
by myself it was sold out i sat with another
group of people uh and it was it was probably
one of the best days slash into the nights that
i've had for a very long time it was so
great well.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
Good was is he coming back in town anytime soon.
Speaker 5 (15:18):
Um I know his movie premieres in Tampa because he
has a movie called Camp Duval, Ain't Nobody Gonna Die Tonight.
It premieres in Tampa today or tonight, and then all
over the state of Florida is where it is. So
I'm not quite sure when he comes back to town.
But we should definitely have him on the show if
we do. I was going to say, can you get
(15:38):
him to come on the show?
Speaker 2 (15:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (15:39):
I have his number and now that I have in
his manager's name is snake.
Speaker 4 (15:43):
Also, he has a bunch of reptiles, right? So he
has snakes. He has lizards.
Speaker 5 (15:47):
He has all kinds of animals and stuff like that.
And so next time he's doing this big thing where
he brings this school out to Camp Duval, all these
kids teach him how to fish, teach him how to do.
Speaker 4 (15:58):
You know like man stuff out.
Speaker 5 (15:59):
There uh so i think i'm going i got i
was like i'm gonna take you around gatorland only stipulation
is i gotta get an invite invite to camp duval
and he was like you got it you got it
come on come on girl.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
That's funny like i think i probably just have heard
you talk about him i've never seen him in the
media i've never heard any of his song like i
don't know who he is i like uh but i
guess maybe i've heard.
Speaker 5 (16:21):
You talk he would have You would know the song Smile, Bitch. Like,
I don't even know if we can play it because
it's probably not. You can't play it. A lot of
his music cannot be played on the radio or in
a podcast. Like, it's his specific to his demographic of music.
And he does a big event in Jacksonville that even
Rick Everett and those guys promote up in Jacksonville called
(16:43):
Duval Day every year.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (16:44):
And, like, invite everybody out. Everybody can sell their wares, food,
whatever it is that they do. And then all the
money goes back into the community where he grew up. So, like, really, like,
solid state-of-the-art person.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
Well, good.
Speaker 4 (16:58):
Loved it.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
Well, I know you had a good time.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
We had so much fun.
Speaker 4 (17:00):
You mentioned it four or five times before the show.
Speaker 5 (17:02):
Well, I just haven't had that much fun in a
long time. Also, with people I barely even knew. But now, like.
Speaker 4 (17:08):
Like, I feel like they're my family now.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (17:10):
And I love when that happens. They couldn't have gone
any better.
Speaker 5 (17:13):
Cause you know, sometimes you'll like somebody online.
Speaker 4 (17:16):
And then you meet them and you'll be like, ah, boo.
It wasn't as cool as I thought.
Speaker 5 (17:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (17:21):
So it was, it was even cooler than I thought
it was going to be.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
No, a little bit of all is a real one.
And so, and he's always been 100% authentic and that's
why people love him. And that's why he does the
charitable stuff that he does in his community and everything.
But also he's that way with his, um, radio appearances
and so uh we would definitely have to make sure
you know he knows that this is live because a
lot of the stuff he does is pre-recorded.
Speaker 5 (17:43):
But he was he was super respectful like yeah we
had him do the jumparoo show and then like and
then like like he would yell like oh oh that
mf is so big.
Speaker 4 (17:55):
Oh i'm my bad savannah.
Speaker 5 (17:57):
Oh man y'all like and just like like because you
can't control that energy, right? Like the energy is going
out and you can't control it. But then he would
be like, oh, my bad, my bad, my bad. And
I'd be like, oh, it's okay. Just don't do it
again or don't do it so loud. And then he'd
do it again. But like just caught up in the
moment and it was just such a great experience.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
When celebrities want to come to Gatorland, do they usually
call first and set it up?
Speaker 5 (18:24):
It depends on who they are and what their status
is or what they think their status is and stuff
like that.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (18:30):
Like, uh, Krista just talked to.
Speaker 5 (18:31):
Them and gave him my number and he just text
and said, we're about to pull up. And I was like, okay, great.
So that was how that happened. But, uh, But super
happy about that. Like, it's good when you get to
meet heroes and they're exactly what you think they're going
to be.
Speaker 1 (18:46):
Yeah, when they're not, it's disappointing. Oh, it's so devastating. Yeah,
my worst was Gene Simmons. God dang it. That was
so bad.
Speaker 5 (18:55):
There used to be this girl I followed online and
I thought she was the coolest reptile chick ever, right? Yeah.
Speaker 4 (19:02):
And I was so excited to meet her when I
first got to meet her. And she was so mean
to me. She was so mean. She was so rude.
Speaker 5 (19:12):
Like it hurt my heart to the point that I
had to walk away and cry.
Speaker 4 (19:16):
And then I was like, I'm never going to let
this happen again.
Speaker 1 (19:19):
Gene Simmons, I had five listeners that we went out to.
It was Virgin Megastore at the time. And we were
supposed to be able to meet Gene. And he had
this new Kiss cologne or whatever. And we were all
going to get Kiss cologne. And so we're all waiting.
I'm so excited the first time I get to meet.
Speaker 4 (19:33):
And he walks in.
Speaker 1 (19:35):
And I start to talk to him. And he puts
his hand in front of my face. And he's like,
I'm here to do an interview with somebody from the radio.
And I'm like, oh, well, that's me. But I talked
to you this morning.
Speaker 5 (19:45):
He's like.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
Put his hand in my face again. I mean now, now.
not this morning. And I almost wanted to cry.
Speaker 4 (19:54):
I'm like, oh.
Speaker 2 (19:55):
Gene, you're being such an ass.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
And then another time I met him, though, he was
super nice. And he offered me a Big Mac. I've
met him four times. So he was an a-hole twice.
And he was really nice twice. I determined he is
a complete ass. Uh, but yeah, you're right. When, when,
when you're excited about meeting somebody and, and they're not
who you think they.
Speaker 5 (20:15):
Are, it's, uh, it is heartbreaking, but like, I was
really fortunate in that. And, and, you know, like just
coming back from my trip and everything, like, and trying
to have like, like this new, beautiful perspective on everything. And, uh,
and so that just kind of fell into the most
perfect spot in all of that.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Hey, so while Ryan is still out, because I think
Ryan went down to get our breakfast or something like that.
Speaker 6 (20:38):
Ryan probably locked himself out of the building.
Speaker 1 (20:40):
He probably locked himself out. So I haven't told him
this yet, Angel, but I was going to wait until
he was here. But I did, just so you know,
I did get hold of the people and I canceled
Ryan Conn. Ryan Conn's canceled.
Speaker 6 (20:55):
No more Ryans.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
I'm not going to do it. I mean, you gave
a valiant effort, dude. You championed it as much as
you could. At some point, you need other people to
step up and show and step up and show. And
when that doesn't happen, you're kind of I mean, here
we are.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
It's almost October, and the event was supposed to be
at the end of January, and I couldn't get it.
I tried and tried and tried. I couldn't get anybody
to show any real interest.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
I mean, you went to all the meetings. You shook
all the hands, talked to all the people that you
needed to talk to. And, you know, at some point,
time is of the essence in this kind of event
to promote it correctly. Yeah. You know.
Speaker 1 (21:35):
So I finally got hold of the main Ryan, Ryan Fisher,
the guy that is charging.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
How did he take it?
Speaker 1 (21:41):
He's disappointed. He's like, I'm so disappointed. You know, I
told him, I'm sorry if I wasted your time, but
I just couldn't get sales or anybody as.
Speaker 2 (21:49):
Excited about it as I was.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
And he's like, man, let's show them, you know, they
just got done doing a Ryan Con at the Mall
of America and had over 1,200 Ryans there. We could
have done much better in Orlando. I'm sorry it didn't
work out. But Ryan's not going to care, is he?
He wasn't even helping me put it together.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
No.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
So.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
I was trying to do something cool for him.
Speaker 4 (22:11):
You know what's funny?
Speaker 2 (22:12):
Oh, you don't know this.
Speaker 4 (22:13):
You know what's funny? Let me just say this about
what you just said.
Speaker 5 (22:16):
When you try to do cool things for other people
and you think that it's going to be like, oh,
this person's really going to appreciate it's going to be
this really cool thing for them.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (22:26):
Like, just don't do it anymore, Russ.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
I know.
Speaker 4 (22:29):
Just stop.
Speaker 1 (22:30):
Well, get this.
Speaker 5 (22:31):
Unless it's me, then you can do really cool things
for me. But anybody else, just stop.
Speaker 4 (22:34):
Well, you're always appreciative. Because I. am grateful.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
Yeah, you are.
Speaker 4 (22:37):
Speaking of grateful, how about.
Speaker 5 (22:39):
That knife set you gave us last year for Christmas? Okay,
so we use that knife set every day at work.
It is the best knife set.
Speaker 4 (22:47):
Of all time.
Speaker 5 (22:49):
Yesterday, I'm down at the meat room and we're looking
at the knife set and we're putting the knives back
in the box because we kept that fancy box.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
Right, right, right.
Speaker 4 (22:57):
And we can't figure out why the knives won't fit
into the box right, right?
Speaker 5 (23:01):
Uh-huh. So we pull out that foam stuff, you know,
that it sits on and everything like that. Dude, there
was a whole nother knife set underneath the top knife set.
Speaker 4 (23:11):
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I had no idea.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
You didn't know that?
Speaker 5 (23:15):
No.
Speaker 4 (23:15):
And it was like Christmas again.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
And I was like, oh my God, look at all
these new knives. So.
Speaker 4 (23:21):
Double down on that. Grateful for that. Ryan's just never
going to be grateful.
Speaker 6 (23:25):
Yeah, Ryan's pretty ungrateful.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
Ryan, I knew you were out trying to get our breakfast,
but I made the announcement just so you know. I
got hold of the council of Ryan's and I let
them know that we're canceling. Like, we can't get it together.
Speaker 4 (23:38):
I guess you can't put a Frankenstein on a roof.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
Yeah yeah yeah russ could do anything yeah i tried
yeah listen how.
Speaker 4 (23:46):
Many try you gave up you gave up on the ryan.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
I gave i had so many meetings i got to
i you know i tried to get the right people
involved and it wasn't and it's just uh too close
to january like they don't have enough time to get
a you know to break any world record.
Speaker 4 (23:59):
I don't know you're full of lies it's cool.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
So so the guy like i was saying they had
over 1200 ryan's at the mall of america we could
have done better in orlando but uh yeah we canceled
it so.
Speaker 4 (24:10):
Because you gave up hey ron's doesn't give.
Speaker 1 (24:12):
Up savannah doesn't know this uh and now we don't
have enough time but uh uh what's happening with uh
the funny bone with the uh monster comic of the
year competition that uh he he uh i we got
a whole you know a thing of the funny bone
he's the headliner it's brian holmes day he booked a
cruise After we had this thing set, he booked a
(24:35):
cruise to go on on the same day, so he
can't be at his own event.
Speaker 4 (24:40):
Shut up.
Speaker 7 (24:40):
I didn't just book any cruise. I was invited by
Burt Kreischer to basically headline the whole thing.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
Is that what he says?
Speaker 5 (24:48):
Oh, wow.
Speaker 4 (24:49):
Is that the way it is? That's how I heard
it in my head.
Speaker 1 (24:52):
Burt Kreischer said he could do open mic on the
cruise ship.
Speaker 4 (24:56):
Well, congratulations. Well, anybody can do open mic. No, I
made the open mic. I just got to sign up.
I literally made it happen on air. It was the
whole thing. Now- I don't know. Still trying to figure
this out. Still going back and forth.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
Annoying.
Speaker 4 (25:09):
Guys, our food got stolen. Did it really?
Speaker 2 (25:12):
Our food got stolen. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (25:14):
How?
Speaker 7 (25:16):
Use the Uber app just like I always do. Same
instructions I always give. Hey, leave the food down on
the table on the first floor.
Speaker 4 (25:21):
I will come and get it. No, I make them
come to the fourth.
Speaker 7 (25:23):
There's been so many problems with that. We had one
guy that was afraid of elevators or stairs or something
one time.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
Yeah, I remember that.
Speaker 7 (25:29):
Yeah, so I saw the car. I'm watching the app.
I'm watching him pull up to the place. They pull
into the parking lot. I go down and go get food.
Speaker 4 (25:37):
No food. I went and checked three different buildings.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
No food.
Speaker 4 (25:40):
I went and knocked on every door downstairs. No food.
Speaker 7 (25:43):
This person just ripped us off, like, about $ 130.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
What?
Speaker 4 (25:47):
Yeah. Yeah, well, you report it, right, and get your
money back? Uh, yeah. That's what I'm doing. That's super annoying.
And then I tried to call them because this is
the first time I was able to like.
Speaker 2 (26:00):
My tumbly's grumbling.
Speaker 7 (26:01):
Oh, there's some Jeff's... There's some bagels from Jeff's Bagel
Run out there that they brought in this morning.
Speaker 4 (26:06):
Oh, well, let's have those then.
Speaker 7 (26:08):
Looks like we're going to be eating bagels because we
ain't getting no food.
Speaker 2 (26:11):
Boom!
Speaker 4 (26:12):
How could it just have disappeared? What about a coyote
took it maybe? Did it go to the wrong building? Well,
that's what I'm assuming, but I went to all the
buildings around here. Yeah, but didn't you see him pull
up in front of us on the app? On the app,
it showed them pulling up into the parking lot.
Speaker 2 (26:26):
Yes. How are you not contacting the delivery driver?
Speaker 4 (26:30):
I did.
Speaker 7 (26:30):
And then, first of all, this never happened before when
I've called somebody, but I called the number. It said,
contact your driver, Patricia. I called it, and there was
a recorded message before that that said, just so you know,
this number might be a scam.
Speaker 4 (26:43):
If you want to continue, stay on the line.
Speaker 2 (26:45):
Oh, no.
Speaker 5 (26:46):
Oh, no.
Speaker 7 (26:47):
And then I called, and it rang and rang. It
didn't go to voicemail. It just did that thing where
it just goes to a beep, beep, beep, and then
hangs up on you. So I don't think we're getting
our food ever.
Speaker 4 (26:58):
Did you message her?
Speaker 7 (27:00):
I couldn't. That's what it's always been before. I could
send them a text. This is no text.
Speaker 4 (27:04):
It gave me a phone number to call.
Speaker 1 (27:05):
So, okay, how does this work, right? I said I'd
pay for it. He already charged $ 130.
Speaker 5 (27:12):
So he's got to go in and tell Uber that
the food never showed up.
Speaker 6 (27:16):
You guys, this is kind of like my belt situation.
Speaker 5 (27:19):
It's not.
Speaker 4 (27:20):
It is absolutely not. It is not.
Speaker 6 (27:23):
It's kind of like my championship.
Speaker 5 (27:25):
And then you say you never got the food and
then they reimburse you the amount of money.
Speaker 7 (27:29):
Yeah, so hopefully I'll get the money back, but I've
never done it for like $ 130 before.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
All right, we got to take a break. When we
come back, Angel's going to bring you the ones and twos,
the number one and number two song in all the
land so we know what's hot.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
Don't go anywhere. You're listening to the March of the Morning.
That seems a bit dumb.
Speaker 4 (27:49):
You want me to fight him? I'll fight him.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
No, Josh is just another bitch. That's all. Why are
they coming to you? Well, you asked for it. They're like, oh,
Angel doesn't get enough hate. So, you know, the worms
are going to come up. And Josh had his lame
screen printing company. He's frustrated with his lot in life,
you know. Because with one leg, I'd still take Josh's
money playing basketball. Welcome back to the Monsters Mornings. We're
(28:12):
ready at 104.1. And we got our breakfast. We found it.
Speaker 5 (28:16):
How about another office took it in and said they
had somebody in their office by the same name?
Speaker 2 (28:21):
The same name as Russ or Ryan or Monsters? I
didn't want to say anything on the air because I
was like, there's no way that can happen.
Speaker 5 (28:27):
No.
Speaker 2 (28:27):
You remember a couple weeks ago where we had a
piece of equipment that was bought for the show?
Speaker 4 (28:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
And it's, again, an expensive piece of equipment. And then
we couldn't find it. It went to the same place? Apparently,
it's that same office. So they just like, anything that
comes to them, they're going to take. Anything that comes
in this building and is left on that table. Yeah,
they're taking. It's apparently, they got dibs.
Speaker 4 (28:52):
That's crazy.
Speaker 1 (28:53):
They're like, dibs, dibs, it's all right.
Speaker 7 (28:54):
Whatever gets on those tables down there, apparently that's theirs.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
Oh, that's funny.
Speaker 4 (28:59):
They're very nice, but they're klepto-y.
Speaker 1 (29:02):
Welcome back. I'm Russ, along with Savannah and Amber Nova
and Ryan Holmes. And now Angel is going to bring
you the ones and twos, the number one and number
two song in all the land.
Speaker 2 (29:12):
So we know what's hot.
Speaker 4 (29:13):
All right.
Speaker 2 (29:14):
I'm having a little tech issue. Could you guys talk.
Speaker 4 (29:17):
About yourself for one second?
Speaker 5 (29:18):
Shout out to Jeff's Bagel Run for having bagels here
right now. I love Jeff's Bagel Run. I need to
go to one of the locations in person. I need
to meet Jeff. And I love what Jeff's Bagel Run
is doing. I love that they're local. And I love
that their bagels are top notch.
Speaker 4 (29:38):
Top notch.
Speaker 1 (29:40):
You know what?
Speaker 2 (29:41):
I have to go get one. I didn't get one.
Speaker 4 (29:43):
It's so good.
Speaker 1 (29:44):
No, no, I'll get it in a second.
Speaker 4 (29:46):
I love a Jeff's Bagel Run. Yeah, Jeff's Bagel Run
is bomb.
Speaker 2 (29:49):
Mm-hmm.
Speaker 7 (29:50):
Man, I think the people downstairs ruined Angel's computer, too.
That's what they're trying to hijack us in all kinds
of different ways.
Speaker 2 (29:56):
I just lost internet connection. I can't. Oh, did you really?
Speaker 5 (29:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (29:59):
I'll just sing the song. You tell me the name
of the song. It's going to be choosing Texas.
Speaker 2 (30:03):
I love Texas.
Speaker 6 (30:05):
She's from Texas.
Speaker 4 (30:06):
I can tell by.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
If that song once again is number one, it will
have beaten.
Speaker 2 (30:18):
It was.
Speaker 4 (30:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (30:20):
Yeah. It tied with Mariah Carey. No, no, no. It
will have beaten Mariah Carey's. That's crazy.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
That is crazy.
Speaker 7 (30:29):
Or maybe the other song is Stella Leffy and she's
just plagiarizing songs left and right and getting called out
for it on tick tock.
Speaker 4 (30:35):
You stupid nepo baby.
Speaker 3 (30:37):
Who?
Speaker 4 (30:37):
Stella Laffey. We played her one week.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
She's what started our argument the other day about Nepo Babies,
and her dad.
Speaker 4 (30:47):
Is a- Founder Groupon.
Speaker 1 (30:49):
Groupon.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
Billionaire. Billionaire, and so she's been lifting other people's music.
Speaker 1 (30:53):
Wait a minute, that's not how Nepo Baby works. Nepo Babies,
if you're doing the same thing that your parent did- No, no, no.
Speaker 4 (30:59):
No, no, no, no, no.
Speaker 2 (31:00):
The resources and everything.
Speaker 1 (31:03):
Now you're a Nepo baby if you have a rich parent?
Speaker 4 (31:05):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (31:07):
That's not fair.
Speaker 3 (31:07):
That's just a trust fund kid. That's just like trust
fund baby stuff.
Speaker 5 (31:11):
I was watching a thing last night about Rob Reiner's son, right?
Speaker 2 (31:14):
Oh, that piece of ass.
Speaker 4 (31:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (31:16):
Well, and the crazy, crazy, the crazy part of the
story is.
Speaker 4 (31:22):
Like, they're like, how many times have you been in rehab?
He's like 17.
Speaker 2 (31:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (31:25):
17 times?
Speaker 2 (31:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (31:28):
And you couldn't get right. And your parents still took
you back in.
Speaker 2 (31:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (31:32):
And Nepo, baby, your dad, your dad lent his name
to a movie. So you got to make a movie
about how you're better than every other alcoholic and drug
addict in the world.
Speaker 2 (31:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (31:42):
Like, I will tell you, I had to stop midway
through because I was too pissed off to finish watching it.
Speaker 2 (31:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (31:48):
I mean, he's going to be in prison forever.
Speaker 5 (31:49):
I mean, there's a lot of people that have been
through trauma that really need help and have reasons to
do drugs.
Speaker 2 (31:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (31:54):
But like this guy, he ain't the one. Everything's been
given to you your whole entire life.
Speaker 1 (31:59):
Trial hasn't happened with him, has it?
Speaker 2 (32:01):
Not yet. No, they're still doing.
Speaker 5 (32:03):
The- No, but there's still like, I just don't understand it.
Speaker 4 (32:06):
That is a crazy, crazy thing that happened. Speaking of scammers, guys. Mm-hmm.
Where all my boostin' ass bitches at? I looked up
the company Amber got this belt from.
Speaker 2 (32:20):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (32:20):
Just so everybody knows. So back at the end of
last year, Amber Nova was bothering the absolute Jesus out
of me. Cause she wanted a new belt. Cause she
said this one didn't fit. She didn't like it. So
finally I gave in cause she was driving me crazy
and she wouldn't shut up. So I finally ordered it.
It's a fine.
Speaker 2 (32:37):
And I paid for it. $ 1, 300.
Speaker 1 (32:38):
Here's the, you can just get the belt. And it
has now been five months.
Speaker 4 (32:44):
Oh, you ain't getting nothing.
Speaker 2 (32:46):
And no belt.
Speaker 6 (32:48):
Maybe I blew the money on a brand new carburetor
for my car.
Speaker 4 (32:51):
That I would believe. That I would respect.
Speaker 2 (32:53):
That I would respect.
Speaker 4 (32:54):
Hey, what country do you think this company is based in, Roz?
Speaker 1 (32:58):
Amber said it was some guy that she knew.
Speaker 3 (33:01):
You guys are literally posted on the page. I've gotten
a championship from him, but it was years ago. It's
been a little while. So I have gotten a legit
belt from him before and other wrestlers have.
Speaker 4 (33:09):
However, it's been a few years.
Speaker 6 (33:10):
Maybe he went, you know, off the handle and maybe
he went broke.
Speaker 4 (33:14):
Is your name Russ? I was asking Russ.
Speaker 6 (33:16):
Maybe he's not who he used to be.
Speaker 2 (33:18):
Maybe he's not who he used to be.
Speaker 7 (33:19):
The only company that I found is based out of
Pakistan with that name.
Speaker 2 (33:22):
Oh, no.
Speaker 4 (33:23):
And not so good.
Speaker 2 (33:24):
All right, here we go. We got the ones with twos.
I'm up and running. This would be the Hot 100, Russ.
And this would be the number two song on that.
