(11:38):
new poll asking people now, who's the best movie action
star of all time? Who do you think came in
number one for the best movie action star of all time?

Speaker 8 (11:51):
Oh god, oh god, I can't even think of one.

Speaker 2 (11:59):
You can't think of one action star? But let's see
three two Tom Cruise. Let me look here. Tom Cruise
did not come in the top fifteen, Believe it or not.
Who do you want to help?

Speaker 5 (12:15):
You've got erly disappointed in that last mission impossible.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
That was just the worst way. It was bad, wasn't it.

Speaker 4 (12:21):
It wasn't bad.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
It was just that boring, like yeah, anti climactic.

Speaker 5 (12:25):
That's the best way to say, yeah, yeah, I got
way too into itself and didn't have any of the
humor and or irreverence that some of them happen.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
You know, he is an action star, and I am
surprised he didn't come in the top fifteen. That was
not a bad guess d matter of fact, they just
signed for Top Gun three. They're gonna make Top Gun
three now because Top Gun two did so so well.

Speaker 7 (12:46):
Do you guys know Tom Cruise is turning into Norm
McDonald What do you mean why, here's a picture of
Tom Cruise right now?

Speaker 2 (12:54):
Oh right, that does look like Norm McDonald's.

Speaker 7 (12:56):
Like Norm McDonald now he's got he's turning into Norm McDonald's.

Speaker 5 (13:00):
For his next movie. Looks interesting. I'm curious about that
because he's kind of going off the wroth. Anyways, saying about.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
That, that's right, Deanna, who do you want to help you?
You've got angel Ryan Angelique or Savannah Ryan, Ryan Holmes,
Ryan Best. Now they just did this recently. Best action
movie star of all time? Who do you think it is?
Is it gonna piss us off? I don't think so.

(13:29):
You can't argue with that, really, So okay, okay, so
Arnold Schwarzenegger came in number one, and this was a
you know one guess number two. Sylvester it is not
Sylvester Sloan comes in number four. Keanu Reeves comes in
number three, above Sylvester number one. Who do you think, Ryan?
Who would you have said? Jackie Chan came in number two.

(13:52):
It's all old guys. You's guys, gotta give me, give
me in one more at Savannah. There's one that that
you know that you hate.

Speaker 3 (13:59):
Oh Bruce Witherspan, No, that's an action star who was
really rude to you.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
Damn I remember your stories more than.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
You do, really rude to me.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
Yeah, he walked in the room. It's like I think
he threw you out of the room or something, because
you look like Nicole Kimman. God, damn, you don't remember
this story.

Speaker 4 (14:18):
No.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
Bruce Willis, Oh he's sickly.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
What was what was it? What was the story about
Bruce Willison? Oh?

Speaker 3 (14:24):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I did a movie with him when
I was a teenager and he was a grown up.
And so where I was sitting in the bar, he
came in and he like yelled at everyone that was
on the set, and I thought it was really really rude,
and I was shocked, right because also, this is Bruce
Willis and I'm looking at him and I'm a teenager
from Podunk nowhere. And then we made eye contact, and

(14:47):
then he took all that rage and turned it to
me and said something along the lines of, hey, uh, hey,
you you're just gonna stare there. You're not gonna do anything.
What if I oh, he said something really awful that
I could assume him for.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
That's why I don't like him anymore.

Speaker 7 (15:03):
But oh well, he doesn't remember this story.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
He said something to the effect of, what if I
took you home tonight, would that change your attitude? Or
something like that, And I was just like what. Lady
behind me was like, hey, you don't talk to people
like that, blah blah blah. Shut up. And he was like,
so what are you gonna do? Now? Go call the
National Inquiry. You're gonna tell them a story about how
Bruce Willis was a big, bad monster.

Speaker 2 (15:28):
Was that the Billy Bathgate was that the movie? Yeah? Yeah, anyway,
so number six on the list is Bruce Lee. Then
you had Jason Statham at number seven, Harrison Ford at
number eight, Clint Eastwood at number nine, and Jet Lee
at number ten. As far as the best action movie,
here does I tell you the criteria? Wait, Action Heroes,

(15:51):
best action movie stars of all time and not that.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
One guy that plays Wolverine.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
Well, here's the next five. I'll give you the explied
Leon Neeson is number eleven.

Speaker 3 (16:02):
That's so funny. What happened about Van dam.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
Chuck Norris is twelve, Sean Coulnery is thirteen. That's another one,
John Claude van.

Speaker 3 (16:11):
Damn number older ones are no new action starts.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
Well now, number fifteen is Dwayne the Rock Johnson. So
there you go. Who would you say, I mean number one,
you would say it would be kind of Reeves, right, Kean, Yeah,
that's your number one. Put Daniel Craig right there.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
Mons Taylor Lautner from Twilight, and.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
Then Taylor Lattner from Twilight. I'd have to agree with Arnold.
Arnold's got a I mean, you know, when you go
through the list of the ones, Arnold know.

Speaker 5 (16:34):
What happens though russ Is this is that all these
guys because that's what they do. Then these the Lattice
latest action movies that all of those men are on
that list except Keanu. They all suck and they've become
the rock. You think the Rocks movie sucks?

Speaker 2 (16:50):
His action? What's what's the last action movie that he
was good in? I like Jamanji?

Speaker 4 (16:55):
Oh my god, is good?

Speaker 5 (16:57):
Okay, that's I don't know if that's action action in Jmia,
So that's like a kitchen.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
I mean there's action, but not like that. You're doing
Jumanji three by the way, exactly. Anyway, Deanna, congratulations, you

the names sometimes the bigger the money. Do you go
and check out what the average price is with other
places to fix certain things, or or do you just

(20:17):
set your own prices? Like how do you how do
you determine pricing in the plumbing industry, We do.

Speaker 8 (20:23):
Set our own prices. But it's it's crazy when I
hear some of these plumbing companies some to advertised with
you guys as well, they're very expensive.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
So when you see that and you're like, well, hell
I could I could get away with charge you do
that much, you know, just to change a just you
wouldn't do that.

Speaker 4 (20:43):
Yeah, Ron wouldn't do that, would he.

Speaker 8 (20:46):
No, he's on very old school.

Speaker 4 (20:49):
Yeah, I just learned about Ron.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
Are you scared me?

Speaker 3 (20:53):
Right?

Speaker 2 (20:53):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (20:53):
Well that's what the internet does.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
Uh.

Speaker 7 (20:56):
The only my only thing is like you gotta You're
email mail is CPS ninety eight at aol dot com
and we got to fix that. We got to get
an official email in. There is AOL still around. Yeah,
it is AOL.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
Yeah, that's it really Yeah, it works better than my
Gmail sometimes.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (21:14):
Absolutely.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
Okay, Well, Deanna, congratulations, we're gonna put you on hold.
We'll put you on hold to make sure you get
your prize, and we appreciate you listen for for as
long as you have been. We appreciate that. Thank you,
my gosh.

Speaker 8 (21:26):
Okay, thanks so much. Guys, have a great day.

Speaker 5 (21:28):
All right, Ross, Can I bring up a point here too,
You can bring up any point you wish, just to
put a.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
Bow on that conversation that we were having about the
action start action starts.

Speaker 5 (21:37):
Yeah, yeah, right, because if you go, if you put
your list that you got up against the highest grossing
action films of all time, the number one, the number
one movie. This, this franchise, this gives it away. This
franchise has two movies in the top ten, and no
one in those movies is on your list.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
Well, I would think action also includes your your superhero movies, right,
So yeah, so I.

Speaker 5 (22:03):
Think that's a different genre, because I'll put it this way.
On this list, they don't. They don't put any of
the superhero movies.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
Yeah, not in there. No, no, no, no.

Speaker 5 (22:12):
So this is like in the and the defined parameters
of what action movies are.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
Oh yeah, he's he's doing it's a fast and furious.
I don't know, because I didn't even bring it up.

Speaker 5 (22:25):
I didn't because I didn't even say him my guy's
Keanu but I I'm even taking a back and and
shocked by this. Furious seven comes in at number one. Again,
highest grossing action films, uh Fast and Furious six comes
in at nine, and The Fate of the Furious comes
in three, So that franchise alone has three in the
top ten of the highest grossing action movies.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
So argument should be Ben Diesel should at least no.

Speaker 5 (22:52):
No, I'm just saying it's a compelling argument in the
sense of, you got a bunch of old stiffs on
your list.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
Meanwhile the current highest grossing movies. My favorite things is
when you guys act like I made the freaking list.
I got it from Ring the west Master dot com.
I don't make up these damn things, guys, I just
get them off the I wake up at three o'clock
in the morning, I say, what's be interesting about three
the list?

Speaker 5 (23:16):
So Furious seven comes at one. Top Gun Maverick comes
in at two, The Fate of the Furious is three. Skyfall,
which is the second guy I mentioned, comes in up four.
Battle of Lake I don't I've never heard of this movie, Ryan,
The Battle of Lake channgin yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
Truck comes in six.

Speaker 3 (23:35):
The Jason Bourne movie Channing Tatum.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
None of those are in the top ten. Listen. If
it were me, I would have Patrick Swayze because he's
my favorite action star. But that's just you know, that's
just me.

Speaker 3 (23:45):
Michigan your favorite dancer.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
No, he's like, no, man.

Speaker 5 (23:49):
He's your private dancer. Road Jason Bourne. Movies don't don't
start coming in until number forty. I get this and
this again based on highest gross Gladiator doesn't come in
until thirty four.

Speaker 2 (24:04):
Who's who's Mela? Mila Kunis.

Speaker 4 (24:08):
She's from Resident Evil, Javo javove Kick.

Speaker 2 (24:11):
Oh, yeah, you got it, that was it, Javo Javot Kick. Yeah,
she's number twenty five.

Speaker 3 (24:17):
Scarlett Johansson the one movie that she did, I know.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
Uh, Scarlett Johansson is thirty.

Speaker 3 (24:22):
Fourth place, she's pretty bad ass.

Speaker 2 (24:25):
Sigourney Weaver is thirty seven. Those are the only women, Savannah.

Speaker 5 (24:29):
You got to remember that Mila did also the Resident
Evil series. She was awesome in that.

Speaker 3 (24:33):
Oh she did that. She forgot about that.

Speaker 5 (24:36):
And then she's got the yeah Leelu in Fifth Element. Yeah,
but she's a badass, Yeah she is.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
Who else is missing from the Ben Diesel should be
up there? I do agree Denzel's not on there action movie.
He's got an action movie, but he's not an actually
more starter actor.

Speaker 3 (24:53):
Have you guys ever seen that movie Denzel did called Fallen. Yeah,
that's a scary, scary movie that Denzel's in, and he
doesn't usually do scary movies. But man, I watched it
once and I can never watch it again because I
was terrified.

Speaker 2 (25:10):
Where he had a demon, yeah, and they sing the
song or whatever.

Speaker 3 (25:13):
Yeah, look, and he had a demon, but every time
like so, he sees the demon, he's trying to get
the demon, but the demon moves through touch. So he's
walking down a city street, the demon identifies him, they
identify each other, and then the demon just touches the
person next to him, goes into that one and then
goes into the next one and goes all the way down.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
And the way they know he's moved is he starts
singing that song from the Rolling Stones.

Speaker 3 (25:34):
Right like, yeah, you can't always get what you want?

Speaker 2 (25:37):
And how is that one act?

Speaker 5 (25:38):
This is the one actor that creeps me out in
every movie that he's in. I think he's even tried
to do some nice movies, but what's that one actor
where his eyes move he's got that condition where his
eyes move. He was in Constantine and I think he's in.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
That movie too.

Speaker 5 (25:50):
The guy always creeps me out and he's got this
condition where like his eyes are always constantly.

Speaker 3 (25:55):
Like kind of shake.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (25:56):
No, I forget the guy's name, but that guy, and
I think he's tried to do like like regular like
like he's the nice guy in the movie, but he's
always he always creeps me out. And Constantine, he was
one of the priests that got killed.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
There's a guy from con Air that always like I
just see his face and he always do you talk
about creeping you out?

Speaker 3 (26:15):
Like he is it Vincent Dinofrio. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (26:18):
I don't know what his name is, but he's like
he's like really thin, Like sure.

Speaker 3 (26:25):
What his name is.

Speaker 5 (26:26):
That's the guy with the guy that he's mad at
you guys because you're in front of his picture.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
Yes, what does that guy say?

Speaker 3 (26:35):
It's hard to do a radio show and everyone's memory
is failing.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
Abody Steve, Yeah, yeah, he got mad at us. One time.

Speaker 3 (26:46):
I met yeah in uh New York at this big
fancy party and I was in the elevator with him
and and it was me and him and my friend,
and my friend kept saying. My friend was just whispering
that don't do it, don't do it. And I was like, oh, man,
I need to say something to him. And he's so short,

(27:08):
like I believe it, so short, Savannah.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
So a listener had a pencil drawing of Steve Bashimi
and I guess he did this. He did this photo
shoot for Rolling Stone magazine or something like that, and
it's like it's trying to be all sexy or whatever,
and he had like his shirt open and he's laying
down like this on a bed and this person had
drawn it. And we were going to see Steve Bashimi
because he was doing a fundraising event out at Daytotal

(27:34):
Harley Davidson, and they gave it to us and they said, listen,
get him to sign it and you could auction it
off for the kids for the for the ride. And
I'm like, oh, that'd be awesome, it'd be great. So
I got it. I got it with me, and I
take it and there's Steve Bashimi sitting at the table
over next to me. I'm like, oh, this is so cool.
I'm sure he didn't mind signing this, and I'm hi,
mister Bashimi. How you doing. I've got something that they
want to auction off to make some money for the kids.
Oh oh, Shoria, do you mind signing this? And I

(27:56):
show it to him and his face turns white and
he's like, is this supposed to be a joke? And
I'm like no, no, no, no no, like a listen,
I'm sort of explaining what you can explaining on the back.
But my listener had drawn this and and and we
thought you could sign He's like, yeah, I'm not signing that.
I'm like, oh god, I'm so ugly.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
Was the picture ugly?

Speaker 2 (28:17):
It's a famous picture that he the drawing.

Speaker 3 (28:20):
The drawing was great, it was why didn't he like it?

Speaker 2 (28:22):
Because it's a famous picture that I guess in the
press he had said he didn't want want that, he
didn't want that out. I didn't know. I didn't know
that the picture, uh. And I guess it's in Rolling
Stone or something and you can probably find it Ryan.
It's it's a famous picture of Steve Mamie.

Speaker 3 (28:36):
The drawing is in Rolling Stone. The actual I just
I'm just kind of being annoyed Steve was in the
Rolling Stone. You're too late to be annoying. Right now,
that's the one.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
But if you look for the the but him like
like it's him in the Rolling Stone magazine or something.

Speaker 5 (28:56):
He did a fantastic jobs shed lying down.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
There are just some people that when you see them
in their role, it's like ingrained the role them playing
the role in greens in your brain and you almost
can't see them in anything else.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
Yeah, and that was me, that was I think that
was it. I think I saw him there. Uh, the
one that there to the corner. I think is it yeah,
where he looks dead. No, no, no, go down there
right there.

Speaker 3 (29:25):
No, that's that can't be a picture. That can't be it.

Speaker 2 (29:32):
It was a like supposed to be a sexy picture
of it was none of these. He got so mad
at me, and I just put.

Speaker 3 (29:38):
Steve Bushy sexy.

Speaker 2 (29:40):
I apologize. That's going to break that computer. You might
do it. Hold on wrong?

Speaker 3 (29:45):
You know how to spell sexy wrong? What was the
movie he was in where they were on airheads? Airheads
was such a good movie.

Speaker 2 (29:56):
All right, we got to take a break there. There's
ain't no an angel behind angel because because it's sure
there's a glare, there's a glare with this glass, so
I see another U there's three year's I see.

Speaker 6 (30:10):
That.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
We're still for breaking there. All right, you're listening to
the Monsters of the Morning for seven free.

Speaker 6 (30:17):
That's one eight hundred and seven four seven three seven
three three.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
Hy Big Banks to Monster Music Man Matt by the way,
I've got a guest coming in in a little bit,
and and it's the story I've told before about a
band that I went to see. A matter of fact,
they're going to be performing at the Leesburg Bike Festival.
It's called Kazin is the name of the band. The
young man that sings invited me to go up and
see him up at Tanners and I went up there
and he's an autistic kid. But when he sings the

(30:57):
guys blew me away, It blew me away. So I
was able to get him to perform. I introduced him
to Monster Mags, and Monster Mags you know, saw his
video and everything loved him and hired his band to
perform at the Leesburg Bike Festival. He is thrilled. I
can't be in a happier and so I invited him
some time ago. Hey, the week of the event or
when we're getting close to the event, come on in

(31:19):
and we'll let you come in into the radio. And
he's really really excited to come in. So because he's
coming in today, I just at the last minute say, hey,
Monster met the music man met would you would you
want to come in and play guitar? Maybe we can
get him to sing. And of course, Matt, you know,
I'll be there, no problem, and I'll bring you guys breakfast.
Oh and I went money. But anyway, so he brought
us breakfast and he's going to be here to do

(31:39):
a song with Tyler King, who will be in with
us in a little bit. So yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
So that's that's pretty cool. This kid's When I went
to see him, I was like, you got to be
kidding me. And he learned a song specifically for me
because he heard I was coming. He learned Detroit Rock City.
Uh and uh it's pretty cool. So uh, everybody got
everybody got some food. Thank you, thank you man.

Speaker 3 (32:01):
Speaking of him doing Detroit Rock City for you, have
you guys heard young Blood do the Cranberry song.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
I like young Blood. He's pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (32:10):
It's so good. Yeah, it's so good. I haven't heard it.
It's really great. Love I love that guy so much,
Like he seems like, first of all, we don't have
any really rock stars anymore. He is the rock star
of now, and like he does videos every single day
like here's the day of my life, waking up right now,
this is what I'm doing, And he seems to love

(32:32):
what he's doing so much and it makes me so happy. Yeah,
Like this girl was crying at his show and he
went over to check on her, make sure she was okay.
He wiped her tears away, like, gave her a kiss.
Then he walked away and talked to some other people,
and then he went back and was like are you
all right?

Speaker 4 (32:45):
Are you all right?

Speaker 5 (32:47):
Anything?

Speaker 2 (32:48):
Everything I've seen from young Blood though, has been like
him doing covers. Does he have a oh yeah? Does
he have a hit agel? Did they play on like
a garr or something?

Speaker 3 (32:56):
Zombie? Uh? He has what's the one with the kids?
Low Life? Like so many original stuff. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (33:05):
I've just seen him in a lot of interviews and
I like him. I mean yeah, you know, like he
did one with Billy Corgan that was really good. Of course,
when he did the Ozzy thing, that's when he kind
of really got worldwide.

Speaker 5 (33:17):
That took him global, that that was an awesome moment
for him. And actually he's a He had a really
good interview with Howard Stern and Stern was one of
those guys that tried to say, oh, you know, you
know that rock and roll is dead and blah blah blah,
and he's like, no, you guys are just looking for
it in the wrong places. And he rattled off like
ten of his contemporaries, bands that he looks at that
are right there with him. The difference is the landscape,

(33:39):
the differences that like just with like young Blood and
the bands of that generation, where are they getting played?

Speaker 2 (33:46):
That's well, that's what that's what I was asking about
young Blood. If he's being played on like the j
R R.

Speaker 5 (33:51):
Not on not on heavy rotation, no, like and we
know what that is in the sense of when you're
a band and you're getting really you got the backing up,
say of let's say radio, you're hearing that artist's song,
you know, once hour every hour and a half.

Speaker 2 (34:04):
Yeah, you know. And I talked about this the other
day with I think with Mary Ellen. We were talking
about it wasn't Judas Priest, it was somebody else, like
Queen Drink or something like that, Like, how does a
band like Queen Drug, how did they become popular when
they really weren't playing on the radio that much? You know?
There are certain way were they played a lot. Yeah, well,
there are certain bands that are are big and popular

(34:26):
and really just from word of mouth, not really from
the radio airplay as much, you know, And how did
that happen back in the in the day when now
that's kind of difficult, isn't it. Like well, I guess
if something's played on TikTok, like Savannah will bring us
stuff all the time, like songs on TikTok like this Morning,
and the TikTok songs seem to get become popular because.

Speaker 3 (34:47):
TikTok pretty much dictates what the youth are listening to.

Speaker 2 (34:51):
Like really, so it's the worst version of it though.

Speaker 5 (34:54):
That's that's the part that I that's why I disliked TikTok,
and and I that's the part that I hate in
regards to this yet has a broken artist, sure, but
it's also condition people to listen to songs at forty
five fifty second segments at a time. Yeah, and then
you don't really know if this artist has the chops
or not.

Speaker 2 (35:11):
I gotta tell you, if you would have told me
twenty years ago that, hey, guess guess what rest twenty
years from now when it comes to pop music and
when angels doing the ones and twos and the number
one and number two pop songs, that country songs would
regularly be in there and rock songs will not even
come close to being in there. I would not have
believed it. I would never because people hated country twenty

(35:32):
years ago. It was dislike and that's probably one of
the reasons I was drawn to it, because it was like,
you know, you don't like it, well, I like it.
I don't care what you say. You know, the kind
of a thing. But now you can't find a rock
song that is number one in the pop charts, but
country music songs Morgan Wallen and all these other you know,
newer acts are in there constantly. Why do you think
that what happened to make that change?

Speaker 1 (35:55):
I don't think there's music hated country that you were
around hated country.

Speaker 2 (36:00):
Well, no, I did a radio show, and when I
did the radio show, people would call in and text
and they hated country. I remember people hating country at the.

Speaker 1 (36:06):
Time for sure, radio show that that's kind of crazy, right,
I mean because I was.

Speaker 2 (36:11):
Doing I was doing the country cowboy thing, right and I.

Speaker 3 (36:14):
Hate country people that was that were listening.

Speaker 2 (36:16):
That means not not everybody hated country. Well of course, yeah,
there were people in Nashville that loved it. You know what.

Speaker 7 (36:22):
I got kind of agree with Angelie because at that
time Garth Brooks was the biggest artist in the world.
He was the highest selling artist from like that that period.

Speaker 5 (36:33):
I think what sometimes I think rest is what happens
like that era of it. Right, people were so like
dead said in their genre. So like I'm a metal head,
and so if I'm a metal head, I can't I
can't listen listen I'm a country music, I'm in hip hop,
and there was there was no way that you could
do that. So I think that's a lot of what
you got back when you were doing this.

Speaker 7 (36:53):
Sure, the older generations are like locked into their music,
whereas they.

Speaker 2 (36:57):
Also we had a pulse on what was number one
and number two and everything in music, and it was
never anything country. Ever, people dislike it. If you give
some rock songs and you would get some Obviously a
lot of r and B and rapping stuff. But country
music was like sort of laughed at because it's too
twangy or was too old or that was my experience.

(37:17):
I get it.

Speaker 5 (37:18):
But by the same token, you still did have the
country music charts the whole time, you still had country
music musicians going on tour. What you're talking about is
like the meld of it becoming more into crossing over
into pop culture. And the reason that country music has
done that is because country music has become more pop.
We've even said it, there's country there's country music quote
unquote songs that are on the pop charts, and you're
saying here, I would have never thought of that. Well,

(37:40):
let's be let's get down to it. It's not really
a country song. It's a pop song.

Speaker 2 (37:44):
You're right, because they were influenced by R and B.
They were influenced by rock, and it's melded and the
country music is now a little more you know, it's
gotten more R and B to it, it's got more
rap to it, hip hop to it.

Speaker 3 (37:56):
Yeah, there's a new actually, I was just watching it
last night. There's a new HBO Max uh uh thing
about boy band.

Speaker 2 (38:05):
Yes, I saw it.

Speaker 3 (38:06):
I watched like the first episode yesterday. But I haven't
watched the whole thing. But what he did is it
didn't just stick to n SYNC and it didn't just
stick to Battery Boys like they went through Boys to Men,
they went through Bell BIV Devo. They did not go
through episode two episode New Edition. What about New Kids

(38:26):
on the Block. I don't know if that's in there.

Speaker 5 (38:28):
Yes, I'm gona tell you right now. If it doesn't
have Manudo, I'm not even one day.

Speaker 3 (38:35):
Geez. I love Manuda.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
They talked about Manudo and the guy that molested one
of the kids in Manuda, and the second one is
all about the lou pearlman and the molestation. Oh my god.
And remember when they when they were going through the house,
that's the house we went to. When Joey Fatone is
walking through the house and he goes into the.

Speaker 3 (38:54):
I don't remember, that's the house we went to.

Speaker 2 (38:57):
That's Johnny Wright swept BU recorded Southern, So that's where
we bowled with.

Speaker 3 (39:01):
The Speaking of Johnny, right, does he still live in Florida.

Speaker 2 (39:04):
I don't know, But he's all in this documentary.

Speaker 3 (39:06):
Yeah he is, and he's in you know, and he's
doing a great job but as I was watching it,
I was like, I wonder where he is if I
could call him.

Speaker 2 (39:13):
I can't believe you don't remember that's where Britney Spears
was bullying.

Speaker 3 (39:16):
No, I remember being there. I didn't know that was
the same house.

Speaker 2 (39:19):
Yeah, it's the same house that that we went to.
But it's a really great documentary.

Speaker 3 (39:23):
It's on how many No, it's on HBO mex. But
how many episodes are there?

Speaker 2 (39:27):
There's two?

Speaker 3 (39:28):
Oh, there's only two.

Speaker 2 (39:29):
Uh No, there's they two so far and they're doing
several and it's really and they show your husband in
one of them. Some see note they show him, uh
and then they told him they talked about lou Pearlman.
When he's like, hey, you're you're you're a smart boy.

Speaker 3 (39:46):
Figure it out, like like walking around the house in
his underwear in front of a bunch of kids. What
the heck?

Speaker 2 (39:52):
Oh? I like it when he puts the left arm up,
because then it's I see Angel with the right arm.

Speaker 3 (39:56):
And all Angel wants us to do is shut up
and hit the brake mark.

Speaker 2 (40:01):
All right, we will. We're going to go to break
now and then we come back. Angel's gonna bring you
Monster Sports. I just like to watch Holsanda like that. Now,
all right, find the bower. All right, you're listening to
the Monster of the Morning.

Kingdom of Fraud

Kingdom of Fraud

It’s the unlikeliest of criminal partnerships: a devout polygamist from an insular Utah sect joining forces with a shadowy Armenian tycoon from LA. The result - a billion dollar fraud conspiracy. In Kingdom of Fraud, investigative reporter Michele McPhee traces the origins of the extraordinary alliance between Jacob Kingston and Levon Termendzhyan. Together, the two men trigger the largest tax investigation in American history and weave around themselves a web of dirty cops, influential political relationships and transnational money laundering. All this is set against the backdrop of Jacob Kingston’s clan – The Order. A powerful and secretive polygamist organization in Salt Lake City. To whom Jacob is desperate to prove his worth.
