Speaker 1 (00:00):
He you.
Speaker 2 (00:00):
We're in the country. It's some Monster's Mornings. You're a
radio one oh four point one broadcasting live live live
on the iHeartRadio app. When you have the iHeartRadio app, man,
you got the ability to check out a bunch of stuff.
You got shows from the past in the podcast section.
As a matter of fact, our podcast section, you could
even watch video. It's a video podcast and also audio podcast.
(00:21):
You can click on that microphone right now and leave
us a message. We'll play those at the end of
the show and you can listen to us live for
the next five hours on the iHeartRadio App. Also live
on our YouTube channel, Real Radio Monsters on YouTube. That's
pretty good. Help us build that even bigger and better
than it is. There are a lot of people that are
there that chat back and forth all morning long, and
(00:42):
we appreciate those folks being there. And then during the breaks,
Ryan will chat with you sometimes and play games with
you and turn on his microphone and talk to you.
So it's a great way to be interactive with the show.
And then you can text us, like a lot of
people are already texting. At seven seven zero three to one,
that's seven seven zero three to one and I'll text
you back. Angel will text you back throughout the show.
(01:02):
This is a great way to be part of the
program on this beautiful Monday morning. What's up everybody. I'm
Russ Roland's host of the program and with the fellas.
We'll be doing this until eleven o'clock. Here's the producer
of the Angel, Angel Emara on Man. I came out
to m Ryan home. It is a Monday after a great,
great weekend. Obviously we're gonna recap everything that happened on
(01:25):
Friday night out in Maldorra. What a great time, what
a great show, What a bunch of nice people just
all the way around. A lot of cool stuff to
talk about. We're gonna get into that a little bit,
and then a lot of new stuff that's going on
that we were gonna we'll be talking about with Monster
sports stuff, all kinds of a little bit of everything
today on the show. I wanted to kick it off
with what something I did I didn't know about. I
(01:46):
didn't get a chance to talk to him early but
on Friday for those of you that were paying attention
that you couldn't see what was going on, obviously all
of us were going out to Maldorra, but Angel had
a prior commitment to go out to Claremont. I think
it was Claremont, uh for and to give out some
tickets for the World Cup, because you've been doing this
and which is really cool for our listeners those World
(02:08):
Cup tickets. Every time I watch the news, they're talking about,
you know, the price, the price is going up, the
value is going up. Like to give away a pair
of those tickets is a super big deal. And they,
you know, they like you going out and doing it,
and they already had that plan. And of course we
had our thing plan and we had you had to
juggle and you had to do both. And they wouldn't
take anyone else. They'd listen, no, we don't want anybody
(02:30):
else but Angel, which is cool, but I mean we
were like, I need Angel at this thing, and they
were like, well, we went Angel here, and so there
was a little bit of a juggling going on, but
it all, from what I saw and from when I gathered,
worked out perfect right.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
Absolutely a great turnout in uh Claremont again and Hugh
shout out to Sea Lane for uh splitting the time
with me over there and again like rest you just mentioned,
it is true, like every single one of these I
don't think people understand we are actually giving away a
pair at every one of these hits. Yeah, it's not
like everyone registering at the end of this. We're giving
(03:03):
away a pair. So we've already I've already given away
four pairs of tickets to one of the World Cup
matches in Miami. And again it's courtesy of michelob Ultra.
They're their official sponsor for the World Cup and city
beverage here in Orlando.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
So what do you think the value of those are now?
Because they keep talking on the news how the value
is going up. Some people are complaining that the tickets
are too much or whatever, which is you know what
people do?
Speaker 3 (03:26):
I know for a fact that a couple of the
pairs of tickets have been eight hundred dollars a ticket
face value.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
So you're giving away like sixteen hundred dollars. Take these things,
and when is your next one?
Speaker 3 (03:38):
So next one is going to be this Friday. I'm
going to be at a Elixer downtown seven thirty to
nine thirty.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
I love Axer.
Speaker 4 (03:44):
And then the next day.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
On Saturday, I'll be at Walter's Tavern from five pm
to seven pm. You can go to real Radio dot
FM and get all the information there of all the
different hits that I'm going to have. But that's going
to Those are the next two this coming weekend.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
Good good, good goods. So tell me about the event.
It's elf. Did you you were at.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
Gators Gator's ox side right there Claremont had a really
bunch of really cool fans that showed up. But I
want to give a HU shout out to Hudson Hudson Cutting. Uh,
he's from a wrong uh Rawless construction. Had a really
great time hanging out with that guy. Sometimes he'd like
you just meet people and get like have a great
vibe and everything. And that was one of those moments
(04:23):
where it was just a real cool dude. He's been
listening to you.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
He he's been such a listened long time listening to us.
That there was back in the day when you guys
were were doing a stunt near Disney or something like
that with Drunkie and Tiffany. Uh, he was like he
helped facilit like get that get them on property or
something like that.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
Okay, so he was do you remember the ski bit,
do you remember what she.
Speaker 3 (04:45):
Was on, So I guess the gist of it was
that she was on a one of the trash dumpsters
kind of thing and she had just gotten an upgrade,
so she was bouncing around on that kind of thing.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
I remember that.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Yeah, Oh no, no she was Was it a pogo stick?
Maybe it was a stick maybe? Yeah, which was terrible.
Whn't you get funny?
Speaker 3 (05:10):
Yeah, so I just get to catch up with fans
like that, everyone that came out there. I took a
bunch of pictures and everything. So yeah, it was a
really fantastic time out there.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
So you and I'll.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
Say that, you know it. How crazy I am about
you know, time and everything. You had to rush from
Clairemont to get to our make and the way I
had this set up, And I'm sometimes hard aitted, like
I didn't want to.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Change the way I had it set up. The way
I had it set up.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
You start the show right like like, so so we
can't start until you get there?
Speaker 4 (05:38):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Were you at all nervous at all? Okay, tell me
about that experience. And I was like, rest is going
to freak out if I don't get there on time.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Wait, what happened with that show.
Speaker 3 (05:49):
What I did was basically kind of scope out a
couple of different ways to get back to Mount Dora,
a couple of different roots. Like my buddy again, Hudson
was huge instrumental and making sure that we got there,
you know, on time and everything. And then just watching
the clock and watching traffic. I was worried about, you know,
(06:11):
some freak accident or them shutting, you know, just by
you couldn't help. Yeah, something I could help adjust my luck.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
And then it's because we honestly got I didn't know
what button to push to start the show. If you
didn't show up, we were just gonna have to wait
for you. Yeah, and we we didn't start till eight
fifteen because I was given a little time for Abody
to get seated and everything like that. And you know,
little anticipation is good, you know, anything wrong with that?
And you and I'm like, oh, he's just gonna be late.
In my mind, I'm thinking all the And I walk
(06:37):
into the room because I was going back at seven fifteen,
seven forty five or sou and you already we were
on stage getting everything set.
Speaker 4 (06:45):
Yeah, I slid in there.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
And so the difficult part was and I don't think
I saw Ryan until right before that. But I was
trying to strategically once I got there, because right away,
you know, everyone was builing about and going back and
forth between inside and outside and doing you know, the
pictures and everything, and I didn't want to get caught
up in that because I knew time was of the essence.
So I was trying to like slide in one of
the side entrances into the venue so I could just
(07:08):
get backstage right away and get set up to do
your thing. Yeah, a lot of people last for you
at the at the party. Fantastic man. I saw some
of the pictures of that pre party and that looked
really really cool.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
Yeah, we're gonna go through the whole thing and and
and all that. By the way, people are texting in
where's the big country, So it's common here we're gonna
play in a second. And here's why we wanted to
wait and do it this way. I did want to
announce for him, who by the way, it's just a
good guy. He's just a really good dude. He walked,
he got that guitar and he got all of us
to sign it, and then he you know, he auctioned
it off, and he's given them money to sober living
(07:39):
in uh in Bifflow and and he's just got a
good heart. He's you know, good dude. Uh turn his
life around and and everything. And so anyway, today is
the first time the song hold my Beer song I wrote,
but he actually sings it better.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
I know. Uh it's uh, it's it's.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
Dropped worldwide now so you can get his song, which is,
you know, cover the of my song hold my Beer.
It's his version of hitting all the platforms. It's hitting
all platforms this morning. So uh so I wanted to
kind of give him a little shout out there. He uh,
you know, I got to talk to him and his
wife on Friday. He couldn't have been nicer. Everybody enjoyed
meeting him. I saw people were by and he got
(08:15):
me one of these shirts. This is a hold my
Beer shirt. Right So I want to give Big Country
a little love. We are going to play the song
to kick the morning off a little bit here in
a second. Uh So those of you were asking for it,
we'll we'll get you here in a minute with that,
and big thank you. We're gonna go through it a lot, obviously,
but Big Thank you to everybody that showed up Friday night.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
Couldn't have been better. It was.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
It was an awesome event, so many nice people. I'm
proud of everybody on the show who did a great job.
Even though Daisy went a little long, but you know
his days, she did, she did, and she was she
was the uncensored in the uncensored showed uncensored part. Other
than that, uh, you know, she just did Daisy business.
(09:01):
He did what Daisy does. But other than that, we're
gonna go through the whole thing and let you know
what happened. And thank you to everybody that showed up.
All the pictures online you go on Facebook, everybody that
took pictures and posted them online, thank you for that.
It really looked cool. And we'll go through the whole thing.
But yeah, we're gonna play the big country song here
in a second. And remember if you want to get
his song, hold My Beer. It's out on all platforms today.
(09:24):
This is a guy that I kind of just met
by him accidentally calling. He had a dream of wanting
to be in music, and you know, he's recorded a
couple of songs now and the first one that's out
drops today and that's his his version of the song
I wrote, Hold My Beer is gonna be out today,
so big loved Big Country who came out and did
a great job. And it was great meeting him, you know,
(09:45):
and his you know, talking to him and his wife
and stuff, and listeners love talking to him, hearing his
story and everything. So it was really cool. So we're
gonna play his his his song that he we play
here every morning here in a second, and uh yeah,
more of our are the stories from Friday when we
come back. Don't go anywhere. You're listening to the Marsters
in the morning. It's a Big Country hish. His song
(10:07):
Hold My Bear is out today on all platforms, so
if you want to download it and support the dude.
He's using the money that he raised to help a
sober living house and bitflow. Good dude got to meet
his wife. He was out there on Friday night, had
the old table set up. Now he was set up outside.
I got there like at three o'clock to help everybody
(10:28):
get set up and make sure everything was good and
put up banners. And I remember running around like a
like a nut sting of it. But I like it.
It's what I do, right it's my it's my thing.
I like putting on parties. I like putting on events.
I like, ma get sur They're great. And so I'm
meeting everyone and greeting everybody as they get there. He
was one of the he was one of the first
ones that was there with the guitar, and but it
(10:49):
was just a regular guitar, and he needed to get
all the monsters to sign it. And he's like, well, well,
when's everybody gonna show up. I don't know, I don't know,
you know, they'll get when they get here. Grab him
and I get him to sign it. And he did that,
and he auctioned off that guitar for his sober living house,
which is which is pretty cool. Uh and uh yeah man.
And then he wanted to like he wanted me to
get on stage. He wanted me to sing that the
(11:12):
song with him. And listen, guys, I know I can't sing.
That's part of the bit, right. I went into the
studio and and Matt made me sound you know, somewhat acceptable,
you know, like listenable at least, uh, but you know as.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
Far as on today. And and so I said yes
to him.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
So, but I wanted him to sing most of the
song because you know, I can't say so we did
do that song one of the last things and meant
a lot to him or whatever. But that song is
out today, so thinking a big country. You know who
else showed up really really early. Brianna Rhaz Now Brianna
is the young lady that won our singing competition.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
Was it last year or this year? I can't remember
now everything runs together.
Speaker 4 (11:50):
She won last year, but she's the currently the.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
Yeah, yeah, so it was last year, oh yeah, And
she's recorded a bunch of stuff and she came with
her mom and dad because she young right oldly, she's
like sixteen seventeen, so I think she's sixteen seventeen years old.
She's a young young lady, and she's got her merchandise
and stuff, and she's got her promo pictures and everything,
and she showed up really early. So I tried to
give a really great spot in the front and just
(12:17):
couldn't be a nicer young lady, so appreciative her parents,
so appreciative of being included in the event that we did,
you know, the beforehand event, which was kind of came
together by after we went on the Brew bus. I
realized that people like taking selfies with folks and that
people they get to meet and put it on social media.
So I'm like, well, we'll get a bunch of monster
(12:37):
people together that you can meet and greet and have
somelthies and maybe it will benefit them, because if she
passes out stuff for her her career, it helps her.
And so the next person that showed up was Monster Mags.
And Monster Mags. You didn't get see any of this
set up, did you. Monster Mags brought lights for her
table she got. She gave out coozies to everybody for
(12:59):
free that said boat beers.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
She Uh.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
She she had like a flower in her hair, and
she was dressed like all like a Hawaiian or whatever. Uh,
just looked great and had a great setup. And she
was set up next to Fro. Fro is the intern
that that we've.
Speaker 4 (13:17):
Had in here.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
He's looking for it for a kidney. Tells me that
that he believes they found a kidney for him. Uh
and uh he but he he brought his stuff to
kind of help get the word out about helping those
and donating, you know, donating how do you say that
donating body parts, donating organs, organ organ donation and another
guy that uh, you know, just enjoyed meeting everybody. And
(13:41):
I purposely see this is I'm a little crazy, but
I like to make sure that I'm thinking. I'm putting
people next to people that you know, have stuff in common.
So I put Monster Mags near Brianna and also near
Savannah Savino because they all sing right, all the singers together.
And then I put and then I put uh uh
row next to Amy the counselor, because you know, he
(14:04):
might need some counseling, might need you know what I'm saying,
Like like I figured that would be a good I
know you're laughing, but that makes sense. And they and
they hit it off and and he actually did enjoy
meeting Amy the Counselor, and and she was wonderful. She
had her little cards and she was so that that
really worked out good.
Speaker 1 (14:21):
Ryan.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
I uh, before we talk about everybody on the inside,
I had you set up with a big long table.
I put you under the tent. I put air conditioning
in your tent for you, and I put all you're
just gonna complain about everything, aren't you. Your mama showed up, well,
you asked for the you asked for the kettle cord,
and your mom showed up. But you didn't show up.
(14:43):
Your mom was there setting everything up with a friend
of hers.
Speaker 5 (14:46):
Uh finished up to do. She's like, you know, she's
an elderly woman with not a lot going on.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
So so you just roll in there last minute and
your mom had been there for hours setting everything up
for your kettle cord.
Speaker 5 (14:57):
Yeah, what's wrong with that? That's you have employees and
you delegate things. Mmmm, that's what happens.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
So set up outside with you.
Speaker 5 (15:05):
It was weird because last year we were indoors. I
had a lot of people telling me they could couldn't
find me untill right at the end. I thought, because
when we originally we set this up, I thought we
were gonna be because you know how if you go
straight through the uh the building that Mad enters, there's
a door that goes out into like a back area.
I thought everything was going to be back there. No,
it was, I said, Remember, I said, but we're off
(15:27):
for the side. I said, you're gonna be I didn't
belong like I was kicked out where the out there
with the damn possum. Yeah, I said, you're gonna be
out there where the dunk tank was in the beer garden,
and you said, oh, that's where I want to be,
So that's where I put you. Uh Mo was out there, right,
Did you get to see Mo?
Speaker 4 (15:41):
Mo was out there? He was I was next to him,
and the bus decker was there. Uh oh.
Speaker 5 (15:47):
They have all the merch, they had all stuff, but
it was me staying in there. Yeah, and a possum.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (15:53):
By the way, we couldn't get two skunks. I guess
one skunk canceled on us. One skunk big timed us.
I don't know the lady, the lady from the organization.
She showed no, she showed up skunked by skunk. She
was very nice.
Speaker 2 (16:05):
It was Kristin Christian from the Care Foundation, and she's like,
instead of two skunks, I brought you a skunk, I
brought you apossum, I brought you a snake, and I
brought you at gator.
Speaker 5 (16:16):
I'm not gonna lie to you, buddy. The skunk was
actually pretty cool. I saw people taking photos of I
didn't realize like skunks were like little sloths.
Speaker 4 (16:22):
They kind of looked like sloths. That's kind of the same,
kind of like little clause.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
Really as you complained about the skunks before, right, yeah,
but now.
Speaker 4 (16:29):
But we might like the skoll.
Speaker 5 (16:30):
You must know we must have said two skunks on
air hundreds of times. I know, if we said it once,
we said it one hundred. And if you come you're
telling me like, look like I played pokemon. Okay, a
skunk is not equivalent to an apossum. Okay, if you
you can't, you can't, don't hand me a possum and
tell me it's a skunk.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
You know what I mean, Ryan, when you mean to
tell lady shows up, She's like, Russ, I'm so excited
that I brought you skunk.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
I brought you four animals.
Speaker 4 (16:55):
Instead, you were skunk people. I'm sorry.
Speaker 5 (16:58):
I think I look if we if we would have
said like, hey, we got a gator, little baby gator,
we got a python, we got a possum, and we
got a skunk. But now people were like one lady
was holding skunk and the other guys are standing there
like he was you other skunk and she's and then
lady goes, well, I got a possum. It's like pauls
skunk possum. She had to agree with him. I had
the hard agree. So they While she was very nice
(17:19):
and this skunk was really cute and whatnot, I was
just like, yo, we said two skunks.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
I feel like we're liars.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (17:25):
I don't like being a liar.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
Like I tell her to go home, go get the other.
Speaker 4 (17:28):
Skun, go get your skunk, bitch.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
I didn't do that. I just like, Okay, that's awesome.
She a very nice lady, a very nice lady. And
she did not bring two skunk. She only brought one skunk.
But she brought a possum. Yeah, and o cage. Yeah,
the possum didn't even come out.
Speaker 4 (17:45):
A gator. I could see that in my backyard.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
A gater and a.
Speaker 4 (17:49):
Snake sounds like a metal song possible in a cage.
Speaker 1 (17:51):
Now. She had brought up the gator and the snake
before it.
Speaker 4 (17:53):
And I cut smashing pumpkins song.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
I hate reptile, so I said no to those earlier,
but she brought them anyway. Wait whever, you know it's
me being controlling and me being me. So anyway, she
brought him, and people got people.
Speaker 5 (18:05):
I thought Rodney brought the gator. I didn't realize until
like way later that that was not his gator.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
No, that's the that's the next guy that showed up
early was my buddy Rodney, the gator hunter who used
to call all the time. And he's a great dude
and he makes little things out of the stuff that
he catches or whatever. And he had a table set up.
Could you tell where people stopping mynd chatting with him
and talking to him.
Speaker 4 (18:24):
Buddy.
Speaker 5 (18:24):
I wasn't paying any attention to anybody else's table. I
had my own table. I had my employees working for me.
Got your mother, Yeah, she works for me. Again, She's
an elderly woman with nothing to do.
Speaker 4 (18:37):
Okay, that's where you were playing.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
So I was.
Speaker 4 (18:42):
I was only focused on me, and so I didn't know.
Speaker 5 (18:46):
Somebody got me a sword, which was the greatest gift
anybody could have ever gotten me.
Speaker 4 (18:50):
I like that.
Speaker 5 (18:50):
I'm a sword guy. Now people keep giving me swords.
Let's make that a thing. I saw the police Florida.
The police came asking me about your sword.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
Right. No.
Speaker 5 (18:57):
I went over to them and I was like, hey, guys,
by the way, shout out to the Mount Door Police department.
Very cool, very friendly people and made sure everything was
going safe.
Speaker 1 (19:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (19:05):
And I just went over there and I was like, hey, yes,
you can tell me no, But can I can I
pull out this sword and take a photo of you guys?
Speaker 4 (19:11):
And they're like yeah, absolutely.
Speaker 1 (19:13):
I didn't care.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
Yeah, hey, so that was the beer garden. We're people
drinking beer out there? Were because I saw people come
inside with kettle corn. I didn't see the beer were
they saw a lot of beer.
Speaker 5 (19:23):
There was a beer table out there, right, Yeah, again,
I would love to give you more. If it's not
about me, You're not paying attention. I was not paying
attention to it.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
I'm the narcissist. Okay, I just want to write this down.
This is what I'm talking, not about you. You're not
paying talking to a lot of people. I'm shaking hands
and kissing babies, and I'm already being pulled in a
hundred different directions.
Speaker 4 (19:45):
So no, I don't know what Rodney the Gator Hunter
was doing.
Speaker 5 (19:48):
So I don't know what Big Country was doing.
Speaker 4 (19:52):
No, there was a beer ten out there.
Speaker 1 (19:53):
Let's say I die one day, right, and you got
to take over here, right. Let me imagine that.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
Okay, you realize you have to take care of care
about every aspect of that you have to take. You
have to care about what Rodney the Gator Hunter is doing.
You got to care about big country that's out there.
You gotta, you gotta put attention to everybody. You got
your mommy do it. My mam will do it. She
had nothing to do. She's an elderly woman with nothing
to do.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
Who else was out you?
Speaker 2 (20:15):
I can't even I can't even talk to you about
this because you don't even know who else was out
there with you.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
I don't.
Speaker 5 (20:20):
I was hot, I was sweaty, and I was talking
to a lot of people. I'm never being outside again.
I felt like the redheaded step child of the monster.
Speaker 2 (20:27):
You asked me to put you out in the beer garden.
You said you didn't want to be because it was
too busy. If I would have put you inside, you
would have complained it was too busy and too loud.
Speaker 5 (20:35):
Now I never I can't win with you. I wanted
to be inside.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
Like if you did not say that you tell me
to put him outside of the beer garden? No, yeah, yeah, no, yes,
yes you did, you damn sure did no.
Speaker 3 (20:48):
Once you like uh eut of the eleventh hour, said
that you were gonna bring popcorn, because that was the
first we sold popcorn.
Speaker 5 (20:55):
Last time from behind the like the yeah, but say
there was no room that this always room for kettle corn.
That was the famous phrase.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
It was out where the beer was, which I thought
was perfect placing.
Speaker 5 (21:09):
Yeah, no it was cool. Uh it just would have
been better. And I know nobody can help this. No,
we're not going to move the building. But like once
the sun started coming down, the sun sets in the
west right, so every photo like the tent actually stops
working at a certain point because the sun is below
the tent line. So I'm just like taking full sun.
(21:29):
I actually got sunburned a little bit. Okay, you know
what I mean. So poor you four thing. You you
know I'm there early, bust of my ass setting it.
We're gonna hear, but you had son in your eyes.
I'm so sorry.
Speaker 4 (21:41):
It's a thing.
Speaker 5 (21:41):
You All My photos are like me, like blinded. Everybody's
squinting as we take these photos.
Speaker 2 (21:46):
Here's who I want to give a shout out to
a couple of people. I want to give a shot
in Para Paramore, who was there early helped me set up.
And you know who else helped a lot was Colton Colton,
the guy we the Colton, the guy we picked to
be Jay.
Speaker 4 (22:00):
What a nice guy, what a good dude. Florida cool.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
He's Florida cool. He was so excited to do Jake.
And not only did they do that, he started helping
Paramore set stuff up, move stuff around, make sure it
all looked right.
Speaker 4 (22:12):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (22:12):
So, shout out to Colton, who I just met that
night and he put on the Jake costume. He even
got to go on stage, and I said, listen, after
you go on stage first time, you can go enjoy yourself.
Speaker 1 (22:22):
He stuck around and came out on stage.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
I kept telling him to go out there. Oh did
you Yeah, he was hanging out and I was like, no, no, dude,
get out there, dance around. He's like okay. And then
especially for the Grand Finale had him out there, and
the other couple times that he was out there, I
was like, no, no, dude, get out there.
Speaker 4 (22:34):
You're yeah, you're fine, Yeah, you're good. So I kept
I kept telling him to go back out there.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
Yeah yeah, good. Well, well he seemed to enjoy himself.
He thanked me afterwards.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
Colton, shout out to you, buddy, you did a great
job and you helping Paramore was so I appreciate that
so much because there was a lot of set up
to do once we once we got there, Uh, let's
see who else showing up? And then bad Sayana and
the Angry Elves. They were there early and Kristin could
not be a nicer guy. Quick on the Colton yea, yeah,
he's great.
Speaker 5 (23:03):
Showed up and we didn't give him a lot of
instruction to be fair, and he just he crushed it.
It was interesting having a tall jake that was definitely
the tallest jake we've ever had.
Speaker 3 (23:13):
That's what I was asking, what's the height on that?
Because uh, I kind of I thought it looked good.
Speaker 5 (23:17):
Yeah, yeah, I like a tall jake better than than
a squatty jake.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
I agree.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
Yeah, if we can talk like was in shape, you
know what I mean. Yeah, and took photos with a
lot of people. I saw it online and stuff, which
I would.
Speaker 3 (23:32):
Feel good about that him being our entry for mascot
games if they.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
Ever Yeah, I agree, he was. He was in shape,
young dude, super happy to be there. So a big
thank you to Jake. Or we have to take a
break already, so when come back and want to talk
about about Christian and the guys from the Angry Elves
and the band. We'll go through the whole thing from
Friday night. But for those of you that did show up,
God bless you, Thank you so much. You you saw
parts of Monster History that happened on Friday night, and
(23:58):
we'll tell you what all happened. And when we come back.
Don't go anywhere. You're listening to the match. In the morning,
I were recapping the wrap up of Monsters Live at
Night out in Mount Dora.
Speaker 1 (24:09):
Watch you buy.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
Mills Air and our buddies over at MO due Moduit
Law Firm injured on the go, just call MO.
Speaker 1 (24:17):
John Busticker was out there. MO was out there. People
were taking selfies with them. Thank you guys.
Speaker 2 (24:22):
They had the beer garden all set up out there,
and uh so, like I said, got there early. I
was trying to get everybody set make sure they knew
where they're gonna be where they were hanging out. I
did meet Ryan's mom as she got set up with
all the kettle corn and stuff. She was wonderful, very
sweet lady, very nice lady. She's as proud of her boy,
which was which was nice. Uh And then then the
(24:44):
next person that did showed up was the whole band,
Bad Santa and the Angry Elves.
Speaker 4 (24:49):
Christian couldn't be a nicer dude.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
You know what is sort of funny though, you know,
and listen, you know my wife lives with me all
the time, right, so you know we there might be
a joker too about me needing a lot of attention.
That might be a thing, right, So this is this
is funny. So there's a time, so my wife comes
with me, Mary owens with me, and but she, you know,
she gets She's like Ryan, she gets antsy. She does
not like to be in one place at one time.
(25:13):
She's got to move. She's got to, like, I can't
just sit with you, you know, and and follow you around.
So she's she was I think they went to Pisce's
Rising or something. And but Christian gets to meet her
and he pulls her to the side. She say, listen,
I want to tell you, I don't think your husband
hears enough how wonderful he is, and said, I think
her head about spun off. She's like, what are you
(25:36):
talking about. She's like, you gotta be kidding me. She's like,
you need to stop telling him that he hears it
all the time. He's like, no, he doesn't hear it enough. Man,
he helps a lot of people. And he's sincerely, you know,
he's know me a little. He's sincerely trying to be
and she she's like, would you stop with that? Like
he's hurt of his whole life. His mom raised him
on praise for God, says he hears enough trust me,
(25:59):
which was funny. But but Christian and the band, Uh
could not have been nicer, could not have been more
appreciative of the opportunity.
Speaker 4 (26:07):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (26:08):
Fun their fun band.
Speaker 3 (26:09):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
They did everything we asked and more. You know, I
asked them to work with these two people that are
not you know, Uh, let's say, you know, haven't been
doing it for a long time, big country. That was
his first time ever on stage, right right, and then uh,
and then we're talking about Tyler King, who's the next
person that shows up. But you know, they didn't know
what to expect with Tyler, you know, and uh, and
they did everything we asked. They performed. And if you
(26:32):
can help send those guys to Scotland for the for
the festival, for the biggest French festival in the world
to represent I mean, I mean I think they'll kill
over there, right for.
Speaker 4 (26:42):
Resolutely and I should we should unleash them on the world. Agree, Yeah, And.
Speaker 1 (26:47):
I love the fact that christ will just take his
shirt off. He don't give a damn.
Speaker 2 (26:51):
Uh and uh and they listen, they killed it. They
had a great time. Uh, thank you to them, and
and and uh they have a website right where if
you could if you want to. I know, we donated
some money to them, and I know other people donated
that night. But they're trying to get to Scotland for
the Fringe Festival. And if you can find their website,
we can tell people to you know, if you if
you if you liked him, if you enjoyed it, you know,
(27:12):
give him a couple bucks to get him over to
to represent us at the at the Fringe Festival. And
then Tyler King showed up. After he showed up, and
Tyler is the young man there you go. There's helped
bat sand and Angry Elves rock Edinburgh, which is there
you go, So they're raising money there. So Tyler King
shows up. Now, Tyler King's the young man that we
(27:34):
had in here. He's got autism, he's autistic, but when
he sings, he is absolutely amazing. And I thought he
probably stole the show that night when he performed. You know,
but when he shows up early with his mom and
his dad because they they got a room out there
and everything, because he was so excited to be a
part of this. And but the other thing he was
(27:56):
excited about was he kept asking me when the wrestlers
were going to get there. He wanted to meet. He
wanted a picture with Poppy d. He wanted a picture
with Onyx, the one he wanted a picture with Jimmy Hart.
Jimmy Hart could not make it. Uh. And then also
with Dale Toyer, Dale Torborg and uh, which I thought
was so funny.
Speaker 4 (28:13):
But uh, but you know, uh where Jimmy Hart was
hanging out with that second skunk.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
And the wind Windyba canceled at the last minute as well.
She got sick.
Speaker 4 (28:23):
But uh, that was a whole other different party.
Speaker 2 (28:25):
But Alex uh Uh but uh, Tyler king Man when
he sang on stage, I mean, the the audience really
got into it.
Speaker 1 (28:33):
And he's got such a powerful voice.
Speaker 2 (28:35):
He is going this week to record a song that
he wrote with uh with our buddy moster music man Matt,
So he's gonna actually have a song uh that that
he wrote, you know, he does a lot of covers,
but he hasn't like written a song before. And Matt's
were working with him for his own his own thing. So, uh,
if you got a chance to meet Tyler King, he
was out there with you, were people talking to him
(28:57):
and stuff, Ryan or you, you didn't pay attention.
Speaker 4 (28:59):
You are asking me again, I didn't even know Tyler
was out there.
Speaker 1 (29:02):
You didn't get a table out there right there with you.
Speaker 5 (29:05):
I have no idea an own me and and making
them sure the fans have a good experience meeting me.
Speaker 2 (29:12):
You.
Speaker 4 (29:13):
I am not worried about Tyler King. Tyler King's got
his own thing.
Speaker 3 (29:17):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (29:18):
And I'm still mad about that second skunk. But yeah,
I don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (29:22):
Well, he was out there and uh and I really
enjoyed his set on stage. And I know that the
guys from Bad Saying a Grail's they enjoyed working with
him as well. And I talked to his mom and
his dad and they were really really happy that he
got to be a part of it. Jeff how then
shows up and uh and Jeff had a great spot
inside and uh he I saw he got a lot
of tips. Uh he got the tips he wanted, uh
(29:45):
and uh, and people enjoyed seeing Jeff of course old
school monster.
Speaker 1 (29:48):
Uh. He played the entire time.
Speaker 2 (29:49):
He so he gets he gets here, he goes, I
just have to play for like a half hour, so right,
I said, well, no, dude, it's like we've got like
two hours.
Speaker 1 (29:57):
I mean, you can space you do what you want,
you can space it. But I don't.
Speaker 2 (30:01):
For some reason, since Jeff's been smoking the marijuana or
whatever he's doing the Diablo or whatever, like he is
very forgetful. He's like, oh, it's just you're done it
like six thirty, right, And I've said, no, we started
at six. Oh, I said, you can be done at
seven forty five.
Speaker 1 (30:16):
Of you went.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
So he did play the entire time to seven forty five.
And then Savannah Savino, who was another one that showed up.
She got up and performed and killed it and was wonderful.
So those are a couple other people that showed up.
Speaker 1 (30:30):
Let's see here.
Speaker 2 (30:31):
Oh, then Tiffany, but Tiffany Martin. Tiffany he used to
be on the show for a long time. We just
were out at her place, Salty Sisters, and not.
Speaker 1 (30:38):
That long ago.
Speaker 2 (30:39):
Looked absolutely beautiful. Everybody enjoyed meeting her. She it's just
the sweetest thing. And it seemed to have a great time.
People were taking photos with her and stuff. And I
put her in our area, you know where all the
monster folks were, and she she was great. It was
good to see her. Then the wrestlers all showed up.
Big shout out to my buddy Del Torborg because he
(31:02):
brought that guitar that was signed by Mark Tremonti. Mark
Tremonti's in Creed, he has the band Tremonti. He also
is in alter Bridge. He's a big deal. I mean,
the guy's a big deal. And they made this guitar
and he signed it and he donated it to me
so I could auction it off for the Carla K
Cancer Screening Fund to spread the word about cancer screen right,
(31:25):
And so how much.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
Do you think that guitar? Do you know how much
it brought?
Speaker 4 (31:28):
No? I do not.
Speaker 2 (31:29):
Okay, there was there was bidding war. First it was
amongst like four people and then it got down to
two people. How much if you had to guess, what
do you think of guitar that was signed by Mark
Tremonti bought, brought at a fifteen you know, don't you, Ryan, Yes,
it knew it was seven hundred and fifty bucks. But still,
(31:50):
all together we raised sixteen hundred dollars for the Karla
K Cancer Screen Fund. So so thank you to everybody
that donated. I sold some bugs. People just donated just
because they wanted to. The people donated for the guitar,
and Dale, thank you for that. It was awesome. You
know what was good too, is that uh Onyx the
one got to hang out with Dale, who was in
(32:11):
WCW for a long time. Dale has a bunch of
connections and so those two got the bond and talk
to each other, along with Poppy D. Poppy D got
to talk to those guys and and I saw them all,
you know, taking up pictures and talking to a lot
of people. So the whole wrestling connection area. And I
put Amber over on that side with the wrestlers. I
put her over there, of course, and she had all
of her merch and stuff and she was and she
(32:32):
was doing well. So uh so that was really cool.
Uh The Wine Diva couldn't make it. She got ill,
she got sick, so I hope she feels better.
Speaker 1 (32:40):
Uh Uh.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
Angelique came with all of her poetry, you know, books
and stuff, and I saw people buying her poetry books
and I've taking pictures with her and uh. And she
did a great job. That was awesome. Daisy shows up
early and brings a bunch of tequila for samples and
also triple or blended whiskey. Tino, who was like her manager,
(33:02):
had all that stuff set up. So we put Daisy
like at the end so people could get in the
line to take pictures with her. And then on the
other side of the end cap I had Tuttle.
Speaker 3 (33:11):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (33:11):
It wasn't even close. More people were taking pictures with Daisy.
It wasn't even you know, it wasn't even close. But
Tuttle was running around trying to help me and be
in Tuttle and we'll talk about what he did on
stage here in a little bit. I told you fro
was there. Ray Trenley showed up. He was awesome. Christy
Martin couldn't make it at the last minute. She had
something come up, but you know, a shout out to
(33:32):
her for getting hold of me. Lady James was there
and people taking pictures with her. Uh, and that was
pretty much it for Oh, Amy, the counselor I talked
about her. I didn't see the poodle peoples. And you're
saying the poodle you didn't see them out there, you're saying,
doesn't mean they weren't there.
Speaker 5 (33:50):
I didn't see any poodles. Oh okay, but I also
didn't see Tyler King.
Speaker 1 (33:53):
So I don't know.
Speaker 2 (33:54):
Okay, Right, you're not that attention to anything but yourself. Right,
if you want to know about me, okay, Well we
got you. We'll get to you in a minute. We're
gonna get to the stage show here in a second
or two. I just want to make sure I thank
everybody that participated. And it looked like everybody enjoyed that.
Uh you know that that the selfie party.
Speaker 1 (34:13):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (34:13):
Some people said, oh, Jeff's a little too loud, but whatever,
I mean, it's it was a party. Sometimes the parties
get loud. But buddy Scott York showed up. I hadn't
seen him in a long time. It's good to see him.
I want to thank my friend Kim Hooker for handling
everything at the Carly K Cancer Screening Fund, also with
Jolie and h Mary Beth.
Speaker 1 (34:31):
They all helped. And my wife, you know, she was
actually helping and had a great time.
Speaker 2 (34:35):
Uh. I hope I didn't forget anyone that I want
to thank for showing up for that early thing. But
uh yo, Bo both the big will tell you his
national but best Friend Day? Why how can I forget
Bo both of the Big Man roads. Everyone enjoyed talking
to him, taking pictures with Bo. Happy best friend Day. Bo.
Speaker 1 (34:49):
Uh, he had a wonderful time.
Speaker 2 (34:51):
And he also kind of hung out with my wife
a little bit and took care of her so she
didn't feel like she was by herself. Uh. And uh,
did I forget anybody? You wouldn't know. You're not paying
a ten yourself and you were there, So this is
all on me.
Speaker 4 (35:02):
She seems like you forgot about me.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
Well, well, yeah, you showed up and then I didn't
see you.
Speaker 4 (35:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (35:09):
Then I'm outside where you asked to be. Yeah, yes,
I put you were you wanted that, This is true.
Speaker 4 (35:15):
Uh, we'll get to you wanted me and side you
would have made a room.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
Yeah, you're probably right. You're probably right, I know, but
I didn't. All right, so where you take a little break.
But then we'll go over to the stage show where
Roll Ryan actually killed it. He did a great job.
Speaker 4 (35:30):
Forgot Miguel Cologne.
Speaker 2 (35:31):
Oh my god, I forgot Miguel Colone. You're right, Miguel
did show up. Miguel was so thankful to be there.
He's lost so much weight, he looked, he looks good. Honestly,
I did mention Onyx and Poppy d I.
Speaker 5 (35:42):
Feel like the number one MW a man's champion, deserved
a little bit more hoop hoopla.
Speaker 1 (35:49):
Yeah, he was wonderful.
Speaker 4 (35:50):
Everyone loved.
Speaker 5 (35:53):
The thing about Onx is he looks like he's gonna
murder you, you know. And then and he could he
could say he could crush your head with both of
his muscle hands.
Speaker 4 (36:00):
But he's like a sweet guy.
Speaker 3 (36:03):
I know.
Speaker 1 (36:03):
And and and in Tuttle such a moron.
Speaker 2 (36:06):
Tuttle's standing right there and I introduced him to Onyx,
the one right, and Onyx standing with his belt and everything,
and Tundle like, Hi, I got sure that campion?
Speaker 4 (36:13):
Huh.
Speaker 2 (36:13):
And He's like, I'm trying to everybody. And then Tuttle goes,
what if I fight you right now? Can I take
your belt? And I looked at I looked at Ryan.
He's like, this guy's insane, because you know, Onyx would
kill tuttle, but Tuttle him for a bit, would get
beat up, and they all in the law in the lobby.
Just for when people would talk about it. I'm like
(36:34):
ty to leave him alone, do not challenge Onyx.
Speaker 4 (36:38):
Oh got about jim Colbert.
Speaker 2 (36:40):
Well, we haven't gotten to that yet. Jimmy did not
show up until later, and we're going to get to
that in.
Speaker 1 (36:44):
The next segment.
Speaker 4 (36:46):
Thinking you're forgetting him on purpose, I'm just reading the chat.
Speaker 2 (36:48):
We're gonna get to that. That's part of the stage show.
I didn't see Jimmy beforehand. Uh, Onyx, You're right. Poppy
d was wonderful. People love meeting him. He's such a
great personality. He's such a good dude. And I think
that's everybody that was outside in the law. If I
missed you, I apologize. I'm trying to remember everybody. But
did I talk about Amy the counselor she was out there?
Speaker 4 (37:09):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (37:10):
Everyone love, Oh my god. People kept telling them we
love your segment. You gotta come back and you got
to analyze Angel, you gotta analyze Ryan and Russ and
so she's in for coming back for more stuff. And
she did get on stage and analyze tunnel, and that
was part of the stage show, but we'll talk about
that in a little bit. So we're gonna we're gonna
move trivia back a little bit so we can finish
up recapping and letting you know what happened during the
(37:32):
stage show. There were some surprise things that happened, big surprises,
and we'll tell you what those are when we come back.
Speaker 1 (37:38):
Don't go anywhere. You're listening to the mantra of the morning.
Speaker 4 (37:41):
Robots don't get hungover. That's why they can't work here.
Reel Radio one oh four point one guaranteed Human
