to do. And then our YouTube channel, Real Radio Monsters
on YouTube do it help us grow that it's getting
bigger every day. We appreciate it. It's getting up there

we appreciate it. What was up? I'm Russ Rawlins, host
of the program, and with the fellas and a lady
(02:23):
and another lady and another person and another person and
then an NBA star, We're gonna be doing this sin
till around eleven o'clock. Here's the producer, the Angel Angel
of Era, going on nokng out damn I riot home
can show. Yeah, I get like a little bit. I
had like one guest planned yesterday after the show and
it a grooda. We're gonna be We're gonna be what
(02:43):
those guys at the airport where you got the U
two flashlights and you're what they call this guys, I'm traving. Yeah,
trafic control. Yeah, we're gonna trafic control today with a
bunch of stuff going on. But that's all right. I
like a good uh, a good complete mess on a Friday.
That's my favorite. Uh, and it is a Friday, ready
for the weekend already Is this the seventeenth, right, Today's seventeenth?
(03:04):
Oh yeah, and I spoke to us, So the seventeenth
is the day tonight is when Teal Piper is a
part of that super slap. Is it called super slap
power power slap? I was called super Slap power slap
thing tonight.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (03:17):
So I did check in with her yesterday. She did
make weight. She was concerned about making weight because, as
we remember, Teal Piper was a little bit, let's say, thicker.
She looked like she had been working out. She'd look
pumped up the last time we saw her.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
I can't be good for her.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
Man, she she lost the weight.
Speaker 5 (03:33):
Yeah, and everything, but this is stupid.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
Oh.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
I like her, and I told her it was a
bad idea. But when I told me how much money
they're giving her.
Speaker 5 (03:40):
I'm like, enough though, it's like that.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
Is I disagree and we can't save the amount.
Speaker 6 (03:46):
But do you think I mean all jokes aside? Yeah,
because that's not life changing money.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
No.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
Well, here's what I was told. They had just gotten
into a car accident. You know, they have to get
a new car. They can't afford that, and they're living
off of being professional wrestlers. And times are tough and
hard times. It's hard times. Uh and and they're like,
listen for them. What they told me angel was that
was that was life changing money for them, right now,
(04:15):
That's what That's what Damos told me. So you know,
but I look, I.
Speaker 6 (04:18):
Can't never I'm never gonna yeah, I'm not gonna get
in the way of somebody's uh you know what. What
what they have to do is what they have to do, right.
So this is my observations on the outside looking in. Yeah,
just with all the other things and potential that are there, Yeah,
it just seems like uh and like short money in
(04:39):
the sense of.
Speaker 4 (04:40):
And you know, I I know with with with what
can happen to you when with that slap competition that
You're right, it does look dumb. I'm not a fan
of it. I don't like to watch people, but I
want to see how she does. And I hope because
she gets slapped first and then she gets to slap second,
and I hope she's okay, and I hope she can
win because it will help her, you know, in her
(05:00):
career or whatever. But you guys are right, and like
that whole sport, I can't even believe.
Speaker 6 (05:05):
It's a sport, it's an activity, or it's not. I
don't know what to call it. It's not a sport,
it's not an activity. It's dumb and and here's the thing,
and and and I kind of know what you've were
alluding to with some of the other things whatever. But
in the sense of I it's beyond my comprehension. Let's
say I'm out of my wheelhouse, out of my depth.
I'm conceding that I don't understand the mathematics here, in
(05:27):
the sense of if she does good here, how does
that equate to the other doors that could potentially be open,
because those things don't translate.
Speaker 4 (05:35):
Well because their thought process is if she, if she,
if she gets a big knockout and the news is,
you know, rowdy Roddy Piper's daughter whins super slap or
whatever it's called, power power, it's power slap, then then
people are aware of her and know that she's there,
and there's a possibility it could be a springboard to
(05:55):
give w W or a.
Speaker 6 (05:57):
You know, the whole world of Yeah, like iunderstand, but
that's a that's weird. That's a weird doorway to try
to come through to get it.
Speaker 4 (06:04):
You know, listen, I I agree with you. But then
when I was talking to them, I could understand their
point of view because because he because she was like, listen,
I anytime I get in the ring, I risk having
a concussion, like like you know, I've been concussed.
Speaker 7 (06:17):
Before, Like this is literally whacking your head, making the
brain go back and forth on purpose at least two times.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
I know it's hard for me to argue with you guys,
you're right, but but I when I'm talking to them,
they were like this to them, they look like this
is a possibility and it gets them out of you know,
they got rent to pay. They got that.
Speaker 7 (06:39):
But hasn't helped HollyHood Haley j that much. Holly has
been now like doing it for years.
Speaker 4 (06:45):
She's doing it again tonight. I don't think it's really
helped for wrestling careers. She's still wrestling independent stuff and uh,
but I haven't checked her her her numbers on Instagram
and all that kind of stuff. Is her name bigger
than it was before? I mean, I think more people
know who she is now as it helps her wrestling career,
(07:05):
that's probably debate. But she doesn't come from the the
lineage of rowdy roddy Piper that there's a lot of
you know, in the wrestling world, there's a lot of
juice there. If she gets the right attention and she's
legitimately a good person, and I think I think she
could make it if she, you know, got to talk
to the right people. I don't know. I agree with you, guys,
(07:26):
I'd like to I hate to see her get knocked out.
That would suck. And this whole power slap thing, the
only idea is to knock somebody out which gives you
a concussion.
Speaker 7 (07:36):
Which ye can This whole league's a lawsuit waiting to
be dissolved at some point.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
Yeah, I think it will be. I think you're right.
I think someone is going to.
Speaker 5 (07:46):
Not our current political environment.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
But it's a Dana White venture.
Speaker 4 (07:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (07:51):
So it's just it just seems silly.
Speaker 7 (07:54):
It seems like we're living in the It's just one
more thing that's like, yep, now we are officially in
idiot see the movie Good Job, Mike Judge and predicting
all of this stuff, and here we are. But I
get it, though, because the entertainment business, especially when you're
independent like that, it's all you never know where opportunities
are going to come from. Yeah, And that's the thing, like,
there's so many things that I've done in life that
(08:16):
I'm like, God, why not go all the way over there?
And it turns into like I met a guy and
then he's got a job later.
Speaker 4 (08:21):
So well, it's funny you say that. Yesterday I had
a bunch of meetings and a lot of them were
MWO wrestling meetings and stuff like that. And and with
what you're saying, and I can say this was no
reason I can't say this. I talked to Dale Torberg
for a long time yesterday and Dale Torberg is really
good friends with Tommy Dreamer. And Tommy Dreamer is a
booker now for WCW or no Nuts a WWE. So
(08:47):
and I have now set up a meeting with or
or whatever you call it, like a workout or whatever
with Onyx and Tommy Dreamer. And it's that's all about,
you know, making connections right like Onyx on it when
we met Onyx, he's an independent guy that nobody was
really talking a whole lot about. Now you know, he's
(09:09):
got our title and now these connections could give him
the U at least the looks from the right people
to help him make that dream come true. And that
kind of stuff makes me so, I don't know, I
love doing that. I love being able to make those
connections and trying to help people that you know. Obviously,
this dude's got the talent and and he's got the
We didn't think he had the charisma at first, but
(09:30):
Onyx kind of does, right, He's definitely does. He definitely does.
And uh, and you're right. And that's what I was
talking to Dale about, Yester. I said, Dale, how do
I get Onyx in front of Tommy Dreamer? Heers, Bro,
it's who you know and you know me, so I can,
you know, and then this this next match make it
great for me. I make sure that he makes this
next next match great video it and I'm gonna get
that to Tommy Dreamer and uh and it's like, you
(09:52):
gotta be kidding me, And yeah, I can definitely do that.
So for both of the guys that are wrestling next
Friday in UH in Leesburg for UH the Niles Cruise,
it's a big opportunity for him too, because Tommy and
Dreamer is gonna be seeing his match with Onyx, So
you know, you're right, it's it's who you know. But
for this slap competition thing, I think a lot of
(10:12):
them are doing it to try to, you know, be
seen and if you if you're seen to getting knocked out,
that's not a good look for any professional wrestler, you know,
And ask question, is it possible to And I hate
to even ask this, but I'm gonna ask anyway, because
I don't know. I know that you can get knocked
out and hit your head hit the ground and you
(10:33):
can die because your head hit the ground. Can can
someone actually die from being knocked out? Oh?
Speaker 5 (10:38):
Yeah, yeah, okay, if you hit somebody in the right
way in the head.
Speaker 7 (10:42):
I mean, like that's a lot of it, like a
lot of fights that you end up getting like uh,
manslaughter charges because these guys will hit somebody in the
head just in the right way and person dies.
Speaker 4 (10:53):
So that's okay. Unfortunately that that would be the downfall
of that, uh of that slap power slap thing.
Speaker 7 (10:59):
Right, Yeah, but I don't know if you could be
slapped to death like that. If you I know, you
got a rogue slap one time where we paused the
footage and went by frame by frame where you got
you got cupped in the air.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
You know, I was really uncomfortable. How many times you
watch that? I don't know.
Speaker 7 (11:16):
Maybe that's I really wanted to break it down with
a smiling the whole time. Yeah, you were grinning, sweet,
I should pull it up again. But in theory, you're
supposed to be hitting their face, you know, like their
their cheeks.
Speaker 4 (11:29):
Yeah so, but there's always you know, someone to just say,
you know, maybe a couple of inches up and then yeah.
Speaker 7 (11:35):
From she was telling us that she basically had to
go through all the same rigamarole as like if it
was a UFC fight, as far as like getting the
medical done and whatnot.
Speaker 4 (11:46):
So they at least they're doing that.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
At least two competitors and power stuff that tried to
go on to m m A.
Speaker 6 (11:51):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
They weren't successful.
Speaker 7 (11:53):
It's m m at they try to slap an MMA
because that's not gonna work well.
Speaker 6 (11:57):
They both had a backgrounds and mixed martial arts. One
Guy Crespo Dwayne the Iron Giant Crespos oh and two
in m m A and.
Speaker 5 (12:08):
Uh, the opportunity was presented to him.
Speaker 6 (12:10):
But it's all but it's all Dane White and I
and I and so what I'm trying to say is like,
you know, all you have to have is a decent chin.
Apparently in this other thing, what other talent do you
have that translates to you can mixed martial arts or
or or wrestling.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
You know what I'm saying, well, professional wrestling.
Speaker 4 (12:28):
I mean here, once again, it's just, it's just when
you're trying to make it and you're doing everything you
can to make it. I think that's the way Teal,
Piper and Damos are looking at this, like, hey, this
is an opportunity. They really want us. They're giving us
a big I mean a suitcase of money.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
Yeah, I get it. And like I said, it's just
and it's me.
Speaker 6 (12:49):
My observation was outside looking in, uh seeing because I've seen,
you know, seen all the clips of everybody else. There's
no one that gets knocked out in that in that
show or in that series, and it looks good.
Speaker 4 (13:00):
I agree with you. It's the first thing I said
to dams end the teel, I'm like, why are you
doing that? That's so stupid. And then when they told
me the money, I'm like, oh wow, and like listen,
we just wrecked our car. Trouble making rent like, you know,
it's just it's just it's gonna help us tremendously. And
he didn't want her to do it, like, and they
wanted him to do it, and he's like no because
he's had neck problems. He's like, I can't. So but anyway,
(13:23):
they're doing it tonight. It'll be they're saying it's live
on YouTube.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
Yeah, they've got a YouTube channel.
Speaker 4 (13:28):
And if I watch it, it'll be begrudgingly because I
don't want to see her get hurt. I actually like
her a lot, and I like him too, uh and
you know, I like it would be great if it
would be the springboard they think it's going to be.
But you guys are right about the whole thing. It'll
be shut down at some point.
Speaker 6 (13:45):
Shout out to Chris, because here's here's the other trajectory
that you can go.
Speaker 2 (13:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (13:50):
So apparently Page van Zant went a mixed martial arts
barrel knuckle boxer. She tried to do pro wrestling, and
she tried to do pro boxing. She went slab fighter.
She wrote a book and then she went to OnlyFans.
Speaker 4 (14:03):
Right. Well, you know, you know how when you're young
and hungry and you're trying to do anything to make it.
Sometimes maybe you do things you one day regret. I
don't know. Yeh. By the way, Tommy Dreamer is the
t N a booker, not not w W E My bad.
I'm sorry. I knew he was a booker for a
big wrestling organization. But anyway, it looks like we'll be
(14:23):
able to get eyes in front of and by people say, well,
how come you don't do that for Amber? I already have,
just so you know, I have sent tape to Tommy
tom Tommy Dreamer has seen stuff I've sent it. I
did all the work for Amber and you chain you
do you guys don't know like wrestler, I've been I've.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
Been quick to jump on stuff.
Speaker 4 (14:43):
You know, I see man, come on, man, Yeah, I
have gotten her in front of all of those just
so you know. So there you go, and they they
decide whether they're going to give someone a shot or not.
And uh and you know, uh so anyway, I've done
my due diligence once I Once I give someone an opportunity,
(15:05):
then you got to run with it and do the
things they want you to do. And some people do
and some people don't. So uh but Onyx Man. Here's
the thing about working with Onyx. Uh when someone is
appreciative of everything you do for him, like that guy
sends me a thank you almost every day. You know
about about having this uh this platform and working with Tuna.
I like working with Tuna. You know, he's a super good,
(15:26):
super cool dude. So I want to help him as
much as possible. And and you don't know, just like
Ryan was saying, you know, it's sometimes it's just meeting
the right person or who you know and and that
makes the connection. So all right, well take a little break.
We got a bunch of stuff happened today. Uh scheduled
to appear. Nick Anderson is going to be on the show. Uh,
it's okay. Uh. Savannah, Samannah is going to be on
(15:47):
the show. Schedule I found out last minute. And Angelique's
coming up here. We got Monster Music man Matt coming up,
because we got Monster Music Matt coming up, because Tyler
King going to come in. That's the autistic kid I
told you I met. And when the guy sings, he's
absolutely amazing. He's going to be performing out of Leesburg.
He's going to come in to perform. And it's and
(16:09):
we've got Niles Cruz coming in. He is going to
be wrestling up against uh Onyx next week. So it's
the guy that's wrestling Onyx, one of the most popular
local independent wrestlers in town. So who got a bunch
of stuff happening today? So be ready, don't go anywhere.
You're listening to the Matter of the Morning texting service.
(16:34):
Second and a trival R. What app are using to
learn about history? Man? I was doing really well with that,
and I got to one of the emperors that was boring,
and I stopped. Emperors stupid, you know the ones that
you know, like Coligula is great and the Nero and
like a lot of them are. And then I got
the one that I'd never heard of before and he's
said a boring story, and I'm like, this guy is boring.
(16:58):
I don't even want to take the test, and I stopped.
And now I've gotten off the kick. And I was
really doing well with that history app What was it called?
Speaker 2 (17:06):
I know, I'm terrible history.
Speaker 4 (17:08):
It's called uh P A L A D Palladant Paladin
Paladin called Paladin's what it is? I was enjoying it,
really digging it, like, oh, I'm getting smarter. Look at me,
And I got to one boring and you can't skip ahead?
I could, yes, but you no, no, actually you can't
because in order to skip ahead, you have to take
the test and pass the test to go to the
next emperor. So so I've gotten all the way to
(17:31):
like I'm not like the six Emperors or something crazy amount.
And then this guy is so dull. He he didn't
kill anybody yet he done nothing. And I'm like, oh,
I know, I know, it's so bad and and and
uh so I can't take the test because I wasn't
paying attention to his story. And now I'm stuck. And
so it's got me not doing the the app. Well
(17:53):
that's but I've been busy with all kinds of just
a monster business. Oh I had a meeting with a
big boss Judy yesterday, like a sit down at her
desk meeting. That had one of those. That's the first
one of those.
Speaker 6 (18:02):
And I go, hand, she has a desk here she
has it's not the thing that you need to say
out loud, right.
Speaker 4 (18:09):
No I didn't. They moved off, they moved her office.
Speaker 5 (18:11):
She has a different she's she's that big window. When
she first moved in.
Speaker 7 (18:15):
She had the big window office, and then they got
rid of that and put in a table in there,
and there's nothing else in there.
Speaker 4 (18:20):
Well, she don't know she's back in. She's back in there.
She's in the Yeah, she's in once. She's got a
big window.
Speaker 6 (18:25):
Uh, I know, but she's not in that. They made
that one room of conference. She's right next to Andy
right here.
Speaker 7 (18:30):
She said that weird office where you could like see
what she was doing all the time.
Speaker 4 (18:33):
Yeah, well you can still see.
Speaker 6 (18:34):
Well, it's got that uh, she's got big windows, but
it's right next to Andy, right, but frosted.
Speaker 4 (18:38):
It's like a frost down that hallway, like by Raquel. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (18:41):
But I never go down there.
Speaker 4 (18:42):
Yeah, I mean neither. U. And I was actually in
the uh the sales pit talking to marg term Suck.
I was talking to Mark about Gatorland and the Gatorland
thing that I want to do with the the Ryans,
the Ryan meetup. I was doing all kinds of monster
business yesterday. But then I saw her and like, well,
I need to talk to you. And I had to
(19:03):
talk to her about the Leslie Gail thing, about Leslie
Gail wrestling against Amber because Leslie Gil really wants to
do it, like she keeps every day. Every day, she's
getting hold of me.
Speaker 6 (19:12):
If we're going back to what we were talking about in
the first segment, I would apply that to this lady,
and someone needs to have a frank in earnest conversation
with her.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
I have told her, no, no, no, I think we're frank.
Speaker 5 (19:24):
But who's earnest.
Speaker 4 (19:25):
She sees the attention that Amber gets when she wrestles,
and she wants to do that.
Speaker 6 (19:29):
If it has to be me, it'll be me. I'll
be straight up because I don't have that fear of
her that y'all have. But that lady's going to get hurt.
Speaker 4 (19:37):
I got no fear of her. I've told her, Lizen,
here's the problem with I'm just gonna say it. I'm
just gonna say here's a problem right now with Leslie Gil.
I got permission as long as she signs all the
paperwork and she has the insurance and she goes to
the wrestling school and everything. Big Boss Judy told me, yes, okay,
I'll letter she can do it. You know, she said yes,
all right, put her through a workout. Then she's got
to go to a workout and I have a meeting
(19:58):
today with the people from the school who run a school,
uh for wrestling, and it's with him and his wife
and they help women who want to be professional wrestler.
So now it turns out that the guy that runs
the school is Jamie Stanley, the guy that that No,
(20:18):
this is the guy that I told him he couldn't
have a he couldn't have a title shot if he
couldn't wait to the the end of the night in Leesburg.
So I got that. But anyway, I got a meeting
with them today about Leslie Gail. Now, the only problem
with Leslie Gail. This is from Magic one O seven
seven for those that don't know. She's another radio station
here at the at the and they're like the station
(20:39):
for like Little Ears or something.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
Right, Well, they're way way away from that.
Speaker 4 (20:44):
Oh they haven't done that anymore.
Speaker 2 (20:45):
No, yeah, that's a whole. That's a whole.
Speaker 4 (20:48):
I just know him as the Christmas station. Anyway, whatever they.
Speaker 6 (20:51):
Do, they're like basically the music that you would have
heard their playlist. The music that they do now, it would
have been stuff that was popular on Excel, let's say,
just five years ago. Okay, so the listeners has transition
from I've been going to mash one.
Speaker 4 (21:05):
Okay, go ahead, she does that. We've known her for
a long time. I like her a lot. Leslie Gale's great.
She has a love hate thing with Ryan for some reason,
and h and sees the attention that Amber's getting and
wants to do a wrestling thing. She said it wants
to market off her bucket list. But she is a
bit older than the Amber, right like, So that's the
concern that Angel has that she's gonna get hurt. And
(21:27):
she's old the man, I know. And uh. And then
Judy was worried about her getting hurt. Jack was what
everyone's worried about her getting hurt. And I get that,
but she doesn't care. She's willing to sign whatever she
wants to do professional wrestling. And so I told her,
I said, Okay, I just talked to Judy for you.
I had a sit down meeting with her. She's okay
with you doing it. You know, it will be a
great cross promotion for the radio stations. They see the
(21:50):
great potential. You know, we'll sell out this arena for sure.
It'll be awesome. Blah blah blah. And then Leslie Gillas man,
Now I got to get my husband to say it's okay.
I'm like, what, I thought you've already done that. Her
husband is a sheriff, former sheriff, and she's like, yeah,
now he's telling me he doesn't want me to do it.
I'm like, well, well, Leslie, I've been jumping through hoops
(22:11):
to get this done for you.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
I hope he gets a shut down.
Speaker 4 (22:14):
So she said she got to talk to her husband,
uh last night, and she'd let me know today if
he's gonna let her do it. I said, let you
do it. I thought you were a grown woman. Listen,
you know me, I'm starting. I'd like to start mess.
Uh So I got it okay from everybody now other
than the sheriff. Uh So, So if the sheriff says yes,
(22:35):
then uh then I guess I guess she can do it.
But I gotta tell you, I like I like Big
Boss Judy. Every time I've had a meeting with her,
she's very uh uh, let's see understanding. Listens to you.
I like her a lot. Have you had a meeting
with her yet?
Speaker 7 (22:49):
Brian, No, No, any meeting we had. We only had
the one and what used to be her office so
I try to keep my head down. I'm trying to
get meetings.
Speaker 4 (23:00):
You know, That's what she says. She said, the best
thing to do around here just keep your head down,
keep doing what you're doing.
Speaker 7 (23:04):
Rust here trying to make waves of that out here,
trying to like, you know, make bold statements.
Speaker 5 (23:10):
I'm just I'm just doing what I do.
Speaker 7 (23:12):
And I very much want like a Milton from Office
Space situation, like do you even like, do you even
know that you're paying me?
Speaker 5 (23:23):
And if you find out, would you be mad about that?
Speaker 2 (23:26):
She knows who you are? We did.
Speaker 4 (23:27):
We discussed you a little bit, one of the big.
Speaker 5 (23:30):
Boss Judy, like, is doctor Reeney about me?
Speaker 4 (23:32):
Hey?
Speaker 6 (23:33):
Hey, the best lessons I ever learned was from Phillips.
That was one thing. Keep your head down, yeah, just
keep keep pushing along, you know. And I was like,
all right, I got you.
Speaker 4 (23:41):
Well. I brought both of y'all up, just so bringing
Angel up, whoa, whoa, whoa. I talked about how goddamn
important you are important.
Speaker 7 (23:49):
We're not helpful, We're not good here, you know me, coach.
Speaker 8 (23:57):
I was doing that damn solid you know. Oh yeah,
that's wtting us on the radar. Yeah, I don't putting
us on the right doing this a solid Now we're
on the radar that out comes expectations.
Speaker 5 (24:08):
Tell yeah, I hate it exact.
Speaker 4 (24:10):
And she saw the bit about your banner and she
thought that was funny as well. She's like, you designed
that for you, didn't you?
Speaker 2 (24:17):
I said I was.
Speaker 4 (24:18):
Drunk and I was designed the way the monster it's
a monster thing man, And she's like she was just laughing.
She was like, I don't know if that's his sensibility
is that I'm like this, How.
Speaker 5 (24:29):
Does everybody know this but you?
Speaker 2 (24:33):
She's awesome though, No, she is great. She's not awesome.
I've had some great interactions with her, and so she's, uh, yeah,
she's very very cool.
Speaker 4 (24:40):
Yes, for sure, for sure.
Speaker 6 (24:41):
And the ad I mean all those guys over there
right now, you know, yeah, agreed very much advocates of us.
Speaker 4 (24:47):
But yes, So now everybody that had to say yes
has said yes to Leslie wrestling Ambernova other than her
husband who used to be sheriff, and she's got to
get it, okay from him? Uh and Amber, Amber's not
have be about it.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
We're strong, you're strong on her, a strong arming her
into this.
Speaker 4 (25:03):
And Amber's whole thing was. You know, she was pissed
off that I Initially, I think Ryan, we said we'd
give her a shot at the title, and she's like,
you tell you, why would you give someone who's never wrestled,
And like, okay, you're right about that.
Speaker 6 (25:14):
So I did change turned off about two to ten.
And now you're making her do a bit wrestling match.
Speaker 4 (25:20):
I know, I know.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
I said, that's what happens.
Speaker 5 (25:22):
You don't listen, it would not be.
Speaker 4 (25:25):
For the Well I listened to her. I ordered her.
Speaker 2 (25:30):
No, no, that wasn't about you.
Speaker 4 (25:31):
Okay, I ordered the belt that she complained about a
thousand times, and I I said, okay, this won't be
for the title because she was right. You don't give
someone a shot at the title that never wrestled before.
So that was dumb of me. So I listened. You know,
I listened when you talk sometimes Ryan, Uh.
Speaker 7 (25:48):
No, you don't because I originally said, why would it
be a title shot?
Speaker 5 (25:51):
And you go, dude, I won't. You don't tell me
what to do.
Speaker 4 (25:54):
Well, I don't list you both and stuff like that. Yeah,
I listened to Amber.
Speaker 5 (26:00):
They listen to listen to Amber.
Speaker 4 (26:03):
I don't listen to Ambers. Trust me, Amber don't listen
to nobody.
Speaker 5 (26:07):
You're buying her a bell, you're doing all this stuff.
Speaker 4 (26:09):
That's not her belt. It's the belt for the champion,
and she might and she might not be champion after
this coming Friday. By the way, this coming Friday, Lesburg
Bike Fest, we're gonna be out there and Angel you
you drove out to Leesburg yesterday? How did it look?
Speaker 2 (26:22):
Looks fantastic?
Speaker 4 (26:23):
What's going on in Leesburg?
Speaker 6 (26:24):
They're getting ready're getting hypped up for this upcoming event.
And I have to go back out on Monday, but
I need to hear today Marba Duke's Marba Dukes has
got a fantastic smash Burger.
Speaker 4 (26:34):
If you drove from here to Leesburg, did you have
to fill up your your tank?
Speaker 2 (26:38):
I guess what?
Speaker 4 (26:39):
It costs.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
Twenty bucks more than I normally.
Speaker 4 (26:43):
Ah right, somebody owes your twenty bucks. You know what
I'm saying?
Speaker 2 (26:47):
Like Holiday, Jack.
Speaker 4 (26:48):
Jack's got a he's got an ability.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
Jack Jack owes me to Amazon gift cards.
Speaker 5 (26:52):
They open while you were there? Who the Marba Dukes?
Speaker 6 (26:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (26:55):
Really, but Daisy wants to know if that lady's door.
Speaker 6 (26:59):
No, not only okay, so not only was she not there.
No one remembers who we're talking about. No, because I
don't think that that person was working at that. I
think that was another place.
Speaker 4 (27:09):
That was a listener or that thinks, and I don't
pay attention to stuff like that. Yeah, no, yeah, not
mber A. Daisy was so enamored with somebody in the audience.
I wasn't paying attention.
Speaker 5 (27:19):
That was a bartender.
Speaker 4 (27:20):
Okay, maybe I don't know.
Speaker 2 (27:21):
I asked Justin.
Speaker 6 (27:23):
I asked the other bartender, so y'all you know, and
that was very delicate how I said. Actually, Max is
the one that kind of helped me out with the
asking of it.
Speaker 2 (27:31):
And no one, they don't recall.
Speaker 5 (27:33):
I'll show your photo.
Speaker 2 (27:38):
I'm doing it.
Speaker 4 (27:40):
Yeah, sure, I mean you, but I'm a married man.
I don't remember stuff like that. Why is that on
your phone? Why for Daisy?
Speaker 5 (27:47):
Daisy wanted to see it. I was like, what's up
with that? And I'm like, I don't know. I snapped
a photo for you.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
I do not I do not recall that at all.
Speaker 6 (27:57):
I thought that that was at a different establishment like
that we brought did the broadcast.
Speaker 5 (28:01):
Okay, well you'll remember, so it's one week away.
Speaker 4 (28:05):
Yeah, today, are they getting like, do they decorate stuff already? Now?
Speaker 6 (28:09):
Yeah, they're starting. Yeah, you can tell that's already. They're
doing stuff, getting stuff worked up up.
Speaker 2 (28:13):
Around the tree.
Speaker 9 (28:14):
Yeah yeah, earlier every year.
Speaker 4 (28:18):
The biker tree.
Speaker 5 (28:18):
Yeah, hanging little biker ornaments on.
Speaker 4 (28:21):
But there looking.
Speaker 6 (28:21):
I mean, it's gonna be uh so at Marmaduke's what
we're doing it. They're like they're getting ready. They're gonna
do breakfasting at seven o'clock. Uh They've got, you know,
kind of a breakfast menu that they're doing.
Speaker 4 (28:32):
Nice.
Speaker 6 (28:33):
Their smash burgers are fantastic and you can add bacon
an egg to the smash burger that they do there.
Speaker 4 (28:37):
When can they serve alcohol? Probably as soon as we
get there, okay, okay, not me for us?
Speaker 2 (28:43):
Yeah yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (28:44):
Okay, what we saying. And then did Maggie say anything
about the band they're supposed to come in with two ten?
Speaker 2 (28:50):
Just that it was taken care of?
Speaker 6 (28:51):
Okay, all right, okay, we got got the band and
we got aycle Yeah, I'll tell you some of the
things that potential interviews that we have some pretty cool.
Speaker 4 (28:58):
People okay, okay, we got I know Onyx.
Speaker 6 (29:00):
As it's all related to the event. So like the
lady that puts the wheel of death the motorcycle, the
woman that puts that together. We have her available to us.
Speaker 2 (29:12):
Good.
Speaker 6 (29:13):
We got the two kids, the young men that are
the motorcycle stunt riders. Nice who their dad is the
drummer for jackal Oh yeah yeah, yeah yeah, So we
have them available to us.
Speaker 4 (29:23):
And then hey, as far as I'm coming next next
a week at Leesburg. It's a it's kind of like
Willy Lilly like it was last time we were in
Mount Dora. No real plan. We're just throwing it all
against the wall and hoping that it sticks, you know.
So that's what we're doing. It's next Friday, Live Monsters
out in Leesburg. Live show from six to eleven. Come
(29:43):
join us next week when we come back. It's Savannah Friday,
and Savannah showed up, so we'll talk to Savannah when
we return. Don't go anywhere. You're listening to the Monsters
in the morning. Hey, it's Savannah Friday. Welcome back to
(30:06):
the Monsters Mornings are already on one of four fine
one brock Hosay Live. Hey Savannah, how you doing.
Speaker 5 (30:11):
Hello, I'm so happy to be here.
Speaker 4 (30:13):
Hey, good to see you. You know. I had I
had a meeting.
Speaker 10 (30:16):
I got a question because I really need to know.
Speaker 5 (30:18):
Do you ever get ted?
Speaker 4 (30:22):
I had a meeting this week with the meet the
Ryan meet up people you know about Ryan Kahn that
we're gonna do, and I did. I brought up gator Land.
And there were several people in this meeting who had
never even heard of Gatorland, and then the ones who
had from like Minnesota and Iowa and all these places,
and but a couple of them who had never been
to Florida had heard of Gatorland. And they're like, oh,
(30:45):
aren't there like pictures of in the fifties with people
from Gatorlan. I'm like, yeah, that's the same, that's the
same Gatorland. And I'm trying. I had to go talk
to like our salesperson to work out of things so
when they come here and we do the meeting up
of the Ryans like on the Sunday to see if
they could do a special thing where they get some
sort of discount or something to go.
Speaker 5 (31:03):
To games talk about it.
Speaker 4 (31:05):
You know, the sales guy, IM have to come have
them do that, you know, to work all that out
and work a special thing for Gating because you know,
we've talked about it and and I just think if
you have never been to Florida and you come here,
I think that's an experience. I want to make sure
all these Ryans have the opportunity to do. You know,
I don't know that all of them will go on
the Sunday, but but still make it kind of a
cool little package for you because you know Gateland is.
(31:28):
I think if you come here, you gotta go to Florida.
Speaker 10 (31:31):
It's the icon park to come to.
Speaker 4 (31:32):
And I was just asking you if they still have
the because when I was a kid, the thing I
like it is the molda mattic or whatever with that
big bubble thing and your dad would give you a
quarter back then it was a quarter you put the
quarter in.
Speaker 10 (31:44):
Now it's five dollars.
Speaker 4 (31:45):
No, yeah, they give you a quarter. Maybe it's and
and it would inject all that wax hot wax and
make a gator and you carry that thing around and
something about the smell of the wax.
Speaker 10 (31:56):
Yeah, that's a that's one of those nostalgic smells where
if you smell it, it immediately takes you mentally back
to like your childhood.
Speaker 4 (32:05):
You know, do you know, you've been there for a
long time now, they had they ever talk about getting like,
I don't know, getting rid of it, because I got this.
Speaker 5 (32:13):
They understand.
Speaker 10 (32:14):
Yeah, I think there's only one guy that works on
the Molda Mattics in the whole world.
Speaker 6 (32:18):
They're actually one of those things that if you can
get your hands on on an authentic one that works,
it's uh, it's very desirable. And there's only a few
of these that are in operations. Your Guys's place is one,
and then another one is like another tourist destination, and uh.
Speaker 10 (32:35):
People collect them, right Like, I've seen collections of people
with their Moldamatics and.
Speaker 2 (32:39):
They're not using them though they're they're yeah, they're in
their collection.
Speaker 4 (32:42):
They had a medicator land. I know they had them.
They had them at six Gun Territory when I was
a kid. And how old are those machines? I wanted
they had to be in.
Speaker 5 (32:50):
They're so old.
Speaker 4 (32:52):
Yeah, so we have three. Is there a guy that
comes in in in what puts the wax in it
and stuff?
Speaker 10 (32:58):
Yep, there's a guy that comes in works on him
and he puts the wax in them. And it's a
crazy it's a crazy kind of thing.
Speaker 4 (33:04):
So do people still buy them?
Speaker 10 (33:05):
Oh yeah, Like if you put a TikTok and you
put in like moldamatic, there are people that are that
are Moldamatic fanatics, right. They have them from all around,
you know where. I don't know if they're in other countries,
but they have them from everywhere, and people collect them
and people love those things.
Speaker 4 (33:21):
Tex Service checking in saying they have them at the
Central Florida Zoo. A lot of times zoos used to
have them. I don't know which ones do anymore. And
if I saw if I saw Mouldomac, I probably would
do it just for the nostalgia coming.
Speaker 10 (33:33):
Off expensive now five bucks five dollars.
Speaker 4 (33:37):
A wax thing that. But you know, I kept the
one I had. I kept it as a kid for
a long time because I don't know, you know, it's
kind of.
Speaker 5 (33:43):
A kind of Yeah, we have a different ones.
Speaker 10 (33:45):
We have a white Gator one. I think we have
a green Gator one, and then I think there's another
one too.
Speaker 2 (33:50):
Hey, Disney had a bunch of these.
Speaker 4 (33:52):
Disney did Yeah, Hey, can we talk about the project
you're working.
Speaker 2 (33:54):
On or no?
Speaker 4 (33:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (33:55):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (33:56):
So one of the things you know when you go
to a theme park like gator Land, you buy the
moldamatic or whatever, but they also have, you know, the
all the other things.
Speaker 5 (34:04):
That you can buy exit through the gift shop.
Speaker 4 (34:06):
The gift shop stuff. And you're working on something, and
I think this is awesome because I think you're one
of the best writers I've ever known. Uh, you're writing
a book about the gator right, Uh yeah, Joline Jouline.
Speaker 10 (34:17):
Yeah, yeah, So the book about Joline I wrote last
year because we wanted to have it out by Christmas
last year, but it didn't. It just didn't come to fruition.
So now Dan Caro, you know him, and uh uh
me and our boss, like we're all working on it
like so so, and then we met with Carlos who
published your book, who published Angelique's book. Yeah, but we're
(34:40):
doing like a hardback, so Carlos is working on getting that.
Speaker 4 (34:43):
I was going to suggest that, like the one I
have is is floppy back, and then also is Angelique's.
Speaker 2 (34:50):
And I would have.
Speaker 4 (34:50):
Preferred for it to be hard back better softback, yeah,
floppy something else, but yeah, hardback makes it seem more real.
Speaker 10 (34:59):
I guess a lot of people don't do hardback books
when when they're publishing nowadays.
Speaker 2 (35:04):
That's what Carlos told me.
Speaker 10 (35:05):
So he's looking into finding someone else who can do it,
because we have to find someone who could do it
in hard back.
Speaker 4 (35:10):
That was gonna be my suggestion. Stick to that. Carlos
will try to talk you into a floppy back or
softback or whatever on a soft cover book, guys, whatever, hard.
Speaker 10 (35:19):
Back, hardcover, that's what I'm talking about.
Speaker 4 (35:22):
Yeah, yeah, but.
Speaker 9 (35:24):
Is what you want in back whatever, just hardback. We
don't know books.
Speaker 2 (35:36):
I just wrote a.
Speaker 6 (35:36):
Couple soft that book is characterized by a flexible, durable
paper cover.
Speaker 4 (35:40):
That's what we're talking about. That's yeah, Carlos will try
to talk you into the soft they don't.
Speaker 5 (35:44):
Yeah, we're not doing that.
Speaker 4 (35:45):
Go hardback cover.
Speaker 10 (35:49):
We have to have a hard hard back cover.
Speaker 5 (35:51):
So it was nice to meet him.
Speaker 10 (35:52):
It was nice to learn about like the book printing
process a little bit.
Speaker 5 (35:55):
We met with him last week.
Speaker 4 (35:57):
He's a great guy, more economical, you know, to have
a day.
Speaker 10 (36:00):
And they're a family business. Gaterland is a family business.
So I'm hoping that we can all put that together
that way.
Speaker 4 (36:05):
And if you're a parent, people, if you're a parent
and you go through Gatland and you get to see
and the kids get to see jo Leine and like,
oh cute. And then you you know, you have options
of things to buy in the gift shop and you
see a little book about the gator that you just saw, Yeah,
you can want to buy that book.
Speaker 8 (36:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (36:21):
And also September will be three years she's lived with
us now, so it'll be her birthday party at Gaterland.
Three year birthday party, and then we'll sell well, we'll
launch the book that same time.
Speaker 4 (36:32):
Now, I hate to bring this up, but I'm just asking,
like what happens if I mean, how healthy is super health? Okay,
so could live to be sixty.
Speaker 10 (36:40):
Joline can use her bottom jaw to slice your face open,
and she's well aware of that.
Speaker 2 (36:45):
You got to watch the videos.
Speaker 10 (36:46):
That's aware that.
Speaker 2 (36:50):
Like she she all kinds of attitude. It's funny to watch.
Speaker 4 (36:53):
Her, Yeah, because she comes for you.
Speaker 10 (36:55):
She comes for me every single morning, right, she tries
to bite me and she gets really angry. She's not
a morning alligator. So the earlier I get to work
to clean her thing, the angrier she is.
Speaker 4 (37:06):
Really.
Speaker 10 (37:07):
Yes, and like one of our other employees was actually
holding her one day to show her to some guests,
and she slung her head back and slit cut their
face open.
Speaker 4 (37:17):
Oh damn.
Speaker 6 (37:17):
Yeah, yeah, she doesn't act like and I mean just
the psychology of it, right, I don't think that she's
aware that she's supposed to have a top a top part.
Speaker 5 (37:27):
She ever thinks about it one time?
Speaker 4 (37:29):
Yeah, Ryan has it on our YouTube channel, Real Radio
Mosus on YouTube. That's Jolline, very famous gater that is
missing a top jaw. And Savannah's written a book, like
a cute little kid's book about it. Yeah, and it's
got a nice message to it and everything. So yeah,
if you're checking out in the gift you know, the
gift shop, and you can get your kid a little
stuffed animal or whatever, or oh, let me buy him
a book about this gater they just saw. Maybe they'll
(37:50):
read the book book about a ferocious little and but
the book's got a good you know, she wrote it
where it has a nice message to it and all that.
Speaker 10 (37:58):
Yeah, she's a she is a Roses little She's up
from rosest little babies.
Speaker 4 (38:02):
I said, you hand her on the last page. You
should have a picture of that woman with her face cut.
All right, We gotta take a break and do some
trivia when we come back, and you get to win
some stuff, so get on the line. The telephone number
is four oh seven nine one six one oh four one.
In trivia, if you win, you got to stick around
and take the floor afterwards, and that's how you get
your prize. So we will do trivia when we return.
(38:24):
Don't go anywhere. You're listening to the mantras the morning
