make my best friend upset. And then you two would

or stop you from fighting one of the two.

saying along, just let to get him back into the
routine of it, getting back into the swing of it,
getting your body back used to it. Bo, you've been
around this guy your whole entire life for a majority

been battling is is eating eating right for the amount
of time he goes to the gym. That's the battle, man,

and then you know when we go on those you know,
one or two week runs where we get fed here
you know, almost every day and it's you know we're

eating those days, Yeah, a thousand calorie meals at like
nine o'clock in the morning.

So the only way I can control my issues, pre
diabetic issues is intermittent fasting.

And because my knees can't take it, right, that's my problem.

beer at night and before I go to bed.

after this, and I gotta get my car to start.

has a couple of beers my cars like a nagging wife,

do beer the week as far. Other than that, you
can hang out while we do.

we got delayed on the plane for the side. We

before we actually took off, so they brought us back
to the gate, so we sat there for over an
hour and a half.

And then I missed my connection flight, so then they
had to book me on another one which had another connection.

So I had three flights in total that day. It

showed me a travel trailer. We spent an hour in it.

It's an amazing place to work.

Spent millions and millions and millions of dollars making the
property bigger.

They're so cool, the technology and these houses on wheels
and these travel trailers.

where you got to grow up to be in the motors, right,
get you got to you gotta go, you gotta start
getting good to.

And that day as I get home, she's like, oh,
I got a bunch of cucumbers. I'm making Ryan some pickles,
like you know, uh she And now she wants to
start a community garden. And we were haven to help

people who don't have money like she and she's talking
to me about this community garden. As a baby, I
don't guard, but if you want to do it, that's
you know, like that's dirty work if you want to
do it. And she's like, you won't help me garden.
I'm not a gardener that you can build. But if
you want a garden right behind you, right exactly, that's me.

You just you come in and you're able, like people

sure that it's not redundancy where everyone's growing the same thing.
So everyone's kind of growing different things. You you know,
share with your your plot mates and what kind of thing,
and and and you give it to the like one

of the food banks or something like that.

want to do it. It's people who want to have

own food. And then also you get so much a
lot of times with a lot of the plants, you
have so much excess than.

a garden for at one point in my life with
one of the wives. And the biggest problem with the
garden was the damn raccoons. Raccoons coming in and taking everything.
The raccoons, well, they take it off, you know what

My uncle, my uncle just had ducks do it. Ducks
taking your foot, Ducks take like all of his garden. Yeah,
I was like ducks too, but yeah, everything, But your

It's only been two days and she's already come up

she'd be breeding them dogs. She's talked about that as well.

You have to come by and see me in general.

Right, I'm gonna have other people talk to.

So this is the reason they were saying I was
complicated because Mary Ellen has decided. You know, I kind
of talked her into retiring from being a paramedic.
Speaker 14 (32:08):
I saw that.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
That's awesome. Yeah, because it's listen and you you probably
can realize.
Speaker 9 (32:14):
Angel.
Speaker 2 (32:14):
I mean, it's a lot the stuff you see the PTSD.
I mean that you see people dying. It's a lot
of stuff. Got a lot and I don't say it
her age, but you know what I'm saying. You got
to carry that fifty pounds bag around walking around the
convention center. It's a lot to it. I'm like, you
should just retire. If you find something else, that's fine,
but you know, stop doing that. So that's why they
(32:35):
were saying, if if, if mary Ellen's going to stay
home and take care of me, I'm complicated. That makes sense. Now, now,
what do you think of mary Ellen staying home?
Speaker 8 (32:46):
Though?
Speaker 4 (32:46):
No, I think it's great. Yeah, I texted her with
the minute I found out.
Speaker 13 (32:50):
I texted her separately because I don't I don't like
to put all that crap on Facebook, but but I
think it's amazing and I think it's class.
Speaker 4 (32:57):
I think it's great that you finally quit making.
Speaker 2 (32:59):
Her work are let her stay home like she deserves. Hey,
I didn't tell you this. After we talked about it
and she put it out there. Whatever, there's somebody that
she knows from Valencia that teaches kids how to become paramedics,
that want her to be a teacher, so she might
do that, you know. But but you know, but that
was how it all started, was, you know, being a
(33:20):
stay at home wife and just taking care of me
would be complicated. And that's easy too. I don't exactly.
I don't do much when I go home.
Speaker 13 (33:27):
Exactly, just make sure there's something in the refrigerator. And
you know I want to go a swimen. Yeah, I'll
get on my boat and let me alone.
Speaker 2 (33:33):
And that's nice to have a sandwich ready when I
get home.
Speaker 14 (33:35):
But that's only if you want to Oh my, what
are we doing?
Speaker 2 (33:43):
Are we?
Speaker 8 (33:43):

Speaker 2 (33:44):
No, if you wish to make a sandwich, I will
eat it exactly out there. Make sure that bounds folded. Yeah, exactly.
I do my own laundry, and women like that, right, yes, seeing,
and I rub it in every time I get a chance. Honey,
I do my own laundry. I remind her, Yeah, I
(34:04):
do well laundry. You don't yell a bunch of don't
bless me.
Speaker 12 (34:09):
But so I wonder, how, so how long do we
think that she will stay home without getting another job?
Because mary Ellen is amazing, but she is also a worker.
She needs purpose, and just tending to you is she
loves you to death, and we all love you to death,
but that is not her purpose, and that's going to
(34:29):
drive her crazy after a certain amount of time.
Speaker 2 (34:32):
You are correct, she already the day that we talked
about it, Angel said something about, hey, Ryan, you're not
looking at this the right way. She's gonna start making
jellies and jams and all kinds of stuff for us.
And that day as I get home, she's like, oh,
I got a bunch of cucumbers. I'm making Ryan some pickles,
like you know, uh she And now she wants to
start a community garden. And we were haven to help
(34:54):
people who don't have money like she and she's talking
to me about this community garden. As a baby, I
don't guard, but if you want to do it, that's
you know, like that's dirty work if you want to
do it. And she's like, you won't help me garden.
I'm not a gardener that you can build. But if
you want a garden right behind you, right exactly, that's me.
Speaker 14 (35:13):
It's actually really cool.
Speaker 2 (35:14):
All the community garden even work.
Speaker 12 (35:16):
You just you come in and you're able, like people
help garden in order to take There's one.
Speaker 2 (35:23):
Right off of like we're in the Milk fifty district.
There's there's a really good one.
Speaker 14 (35:27):
And there's one in like Paramour Areas.
Speaker 2 (35:30):
It's just like a big garden for the community.
Speaker 11 (35:33):
You break it down into plots. Everyone has like like
you sign up and everyone this is kind of the
one that I know how it's run. Everyone has a
plotted area, and and they kind of try to make
sure that it's not redundancy where everyone's growing the same thing.
So everyone's kind of growing different things. You you know,
share with your your plot mates and what kind of thing,
and and and you give it to the like one
(35:54):
of the food banks or something like that.
Speaker 2 (35:55):
Sometimes you do you do Okay, Yeah, that sounds like
a lot of work to me.
Speaker 12 (36:02):
Right the beginning is a lot of work, But after that,
I don't think it necessarily is because it's people who
want to do it. It's people who want to have
a garden, who want to be able to grow their
own food. And then also you get so much a
lot of times with a lot of the plants, you
have so much excess than.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
Like I guess you know what. I remember I had
a garden for at one point in my life with
one of the wives. And the biggest problem with the
garden was the damn raccoons. Raccoons coming in and taking everything.
The raccoons, well, they take it off, you know what
I'm saying.
Speaker 12 (36:32):
My uncle, my uncle just had ducks do it. Ducks
taking your foot, Ducks take like all of his garden. Yeah,
I was like ducks too, but yeah, everything, But your
point being.
Speaker 2 (36:44):
It's only been two days and she's already come up
with five things that she wants to do. I figured
she'd be breeding them dogs. She's talked about that as well.
Speaker 14 (36:53):
Take the garden. Actually, take the garden.
Speaker 2 (36:55):
I'm gonna wish that she just stayed working as a paramedic. No,
but it was it was really it was really getting
rough on her, like the nightmares and stuff, and just
it's just people don't ours. I know that those uh well,
I guess those are considered responders, right, yes, yeah, okay,
so first responders deserve all the love in the world
(37:15):
because I always I always thought PTSD was sort of
made up, and it's not.
Speaker 13 (37:20):
And as I get older and start to realize this
and deal with people in the world, it's not.
Speaker 2 (37:25):
It's it's not, you know.
Speaker 4 (37:26):
And I mean being in the military.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
When I was in the Marines, I saw some stuff.
Speaker 13 (37:32):
Yeah, but I just never really thought about it, you know,
big dumb fun was all I was ever about. Yeah,
I never thought about it. But if you sit back
and start thinking about the stuff that I saw, yeah,
it might screw with the real man. But you and
I we're not crazy guys.
Speaker 2 (37:44):
We know how to turn our brains off exactly right.
Speaker 4 (37:46):
We can compartmentalize. That don't matter anymore, moving over here.
Speaker 2 (37:49):
Yeah it's a plus.
Speaker 14 (37:50):
Yeah yeah, not everybody can say.
Speaker 2 (37:52):
Being dumb is kind of good. Anyway, all right, we're
