Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hey, somebody won.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
That's twenty five hundred bucks please, And so the words birthday,
good luck.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
Yeah, Jay, he.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Said a two hundred two undred right, correct. I take
the word the birthday text two hundred two hundred. Type
in birthday and you can win a twenty five hundred dollars.
I'd love to see somebody win. Happy Wednesday to you.
I hope you're in a great mood. I hope you're
ready for a great weekend.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
I hope it rains all those things. I'll hope together.
What's up?

Speaker 2 (00:27):
I'm Russ Rolands along with Ryan now Angel is going
to bring you Monster.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Sports Moster Sports Prices you by Marx Mark Spring Realtive.
Definitely go check them out. We had some NHL action
last night, guys. That series is absolutely real bonkers. The
Hurricanes beat the Golden Knights in Las Vegas, so that

(00:54):
series is tied up two to two. They won last
night five to three. And the hardest part about watching
this hockey series right now is like last time, I
watched like two and a half periods of it and
straight up just this is my observation. And again it's

(01:16):
because I live in Orlando, Florida, and I already know
a team called the Golden Knights, and it's just a
straight up hijacking that that Las Vegas did of their swag.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
It looks just like, yeah, our UCF night stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Yeah, the color scheme, and I get it, Like I
think the guy that owns owns them has a connection
to to Army, so like, I get it, I understand it.
But man, it's the whole time I'm watching, I was like,
they stole UCF swag.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
That's neither here, No, that that was. That was just
my observation. I think the same thing every time I
see it.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
That's the most I've ever watched of those two particular
hockey teams ever in the history of their existence. But
again it is it is a bonkers series that you know,
they're scoring goals right and left, and we'll see how
that pans itself out for them. On the other side
of this, tonight, we got NBA Finals action back in

(02:19):
Madison Square Garden Dix leave the series two to one.
Game is at eight thirty. I am again, I'm an
energy guy. I'm a vibes guy, especially when it comes
to these things. Gentlemen, I am concerned for the Knicks.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
I just say, what do you think about the aftermath
with everything going on?

Speaker 3 (02:39):
I think they it's ugly, vulgar displays of violence after
the game where they're jumping San Antonio Spurs fans taking
their jerseys, and NYPD just staining there watching this like
like every single one of those guys that I mean again,

(03:00):
Square Garden in New York City, highest concentration of cameras.
How these guys are not been have not been arrested,
have not been processed. I don't understand that. Yeah, he was, yeah,
not doing anything. Why he's punching around though, I gotta
give it to him.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
He got smoke for us and they saw this part.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
I didn't see the whole thing.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
They came up and kicked him at the end and
he's like trying to run away. That's none of that. None.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
That's absolutely gross.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
It's a vulgar display of humanity, a vulgar display of sportsmanship.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
And because that energy is out.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
There right, this is again my irrational fandom the way
that I think again they lost because you know, the
unexpected guests at the game, and then because of their
the their fan base acting like knuckleheads. Again, that's that
negative thing that you have around that negative. I'm a
huge fan of or farming or farm all day long.

(04:02):
This is negative or farming, and that's gonna be the
demise of your team.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
So angel question, what do you think about celebrity? These
are celebrities who do not like Donald Trump. But then
but also said, listen, the loss had nothing to do
with Donald Trump being there. We barely knew he was
there until until they put him on the screen and
they boot it and then they forgot about it. The
team just did not come out playing well first half.
They were just not themselves. Even Charles Barkley said the

(04:28):
same thing. They had nothing to do with the president,
and they did not play well. They did not deserve
to win.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
What do you say to all of those things?

Speaker 3 (04:36):
Again, you got to take all those things and put
it into proper contexts. Charles Barkley is put, you know,
right to a certain extent, some of these celebrities potentially
could be right. But to discount it that it had
no effect, then that's where they're wrong, period.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
And the story they lost. Donald Trump will not be
at the game tonight. He's not gonna be the game
they lost. I predicted this before the game.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
I'm right.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
Charles Barkley is wrong.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
All the celebrities are wrong.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
They're all wrong.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
And and again, if they don't do right by the.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
San Antonio Spurs fans that got beat up like that,
I am concerned for the.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
Knicks to lose again tonight, to lose the entire series.
That's just not cool.

Speaker 5 (05:23):
New York doesn't deserve it after this, Nah hold on,
that was that was a handful of guy.

Speaker 4 (05:30):
That was again that was widespread, and again that was
one of many men.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
The reason that behavior happens is because you had that
guess at MSG, and these fools couldn't hang out at
MSG and be around where all the law enforcement was.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
I think that's a stretch.

Speaker 4 (05:49):
It is how it is. I don't think.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
You're okay, you're you're That the reason those New York
Knicks fans attacked San Anystotio Spurs fans because the president
was there. Oh game that I who I've been infected
with TDS. I can't stand it. I don't think I
could see an intended.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
Guest at the game threw off the whole process of
all of it, the whole day.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Yeah, are you talking juju? Are we talking bad juju?

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Talking?

Speaker 4 (06:21):
Or farming. I think, like I think the President being
there didn't help.

Speaker 5 (06:25):
I don't know if it's the full reason, but like
it's just people angry and lashing out and then and
then we misdirected. I think we've created a culture of
like in US versus them very much lately on whatever
you want it to be, sports, teams, politics, whatever. So
you see them, you're a mob of people. You're angry.
There's your thing to take it out on. And that

(06:46):
too my point.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Russ again, to my point, these things, you know, are
you line these things up and you're like, wait a minute,
something's happening here. Victor Wimbanyama, you going to be the
face of the league. Doesn't get a set a flagrant
foul for the absolute massacre of one Jalen Brunson and.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
He's pushing and hitting.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
NBA looked at.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
This, Why did they not give him a foul?

Speaker 3 (07:12):
That was that's a but here's the thing, and and Russ, Okay,
so they missed it in the moment, but they can
go back and add it after the game. And after
even after the game, the NBA said, NA, that's not normal,
that's a normal play. I guess O'Neal was trying to
argue that, well, that's just normal play. That's Shack is wrong.

(07:34):
He's absolutely right. He doesn't know what he's talking about.
He said, what's he ever done?

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Well, he knows, But he said he was roughed up
like that all the time, is what he said, Not like.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
Come on, Shack. Okay, here's the thing.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
Shak kill always Yea is always going to defend the
big guys because that's what he feels he has to do,
so he's going to do that. So yeah, so Victor's
not looking at a Flay Grant foul. So we got
that game on game tonight again, Knicks fans, I am
concerned for you guys, Absolutely concern for you guys.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
So what what's your prediction for tonight?

Speaker 2 (08:06):
I'm I mean, I will say this has been the
most fun NBA with all this, with all the drama
in it, and then and the fact that they weren't
supposed to win in San Antonio and they did, and
then we got the whole thing with the President, Like,
this has been an exciting you know, and New York
being involved.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
Has been exciting. So so what do you think is
happening tonight? What do I think it's gonna happen to
this evening?

Speaker 4 (08:30):
Apart? You think I think it's san Antonio? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (08:33):
Do you think san Antonio is gonna win?

Speaker 4 (08:34):
Now? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (08:35):
The Knicks are far too distracted. There's been too much
going on in New York itself has the biggest of
heads about this, like they're just not in the proper spot.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
I'm not in a position to pick a winner or
loser Russ, but I will say this, I am absolutely
concerned for the status or the situation that the Knicks
find themselves in this evening.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
So we'll see you know again, best of luck. What
do you think? What do you think about Steven A. Smith?

Speaker 3 (09:01):
I want to I want I don't know, I want
to hear what he does. Right, So typically he had
a response.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
I listened to this. I love the guy. I don't
know why.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
He's one of my favorite people to listen to. I
know you don't like him. I liked Steven A. Smith
and now he's like, hey, listen, miss The president said
that he uh, he had.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
Told they called him an idiot.

Speaker 4 (09:18):
He said he was dumb.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
He's not smart enough to be president.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
He says he has a low and steven A. Smith
did not fire back and did not say anything bad.
He said, you know what, we should have a debate.
Then I would love to show how low a q
steven A. Smith is No definitely smarter than No No Ros.
He's a smart dude man.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
No, but again, I know, I I know the things
that you like about him, and those are the things
that are everyone else detests to him. The way that
he attacks the Jalen Brown, the way that he attacked
other basketball players throughout the season. And again, see so
it's hard to have these conversations with you because you'll
parachute in and be like, oh, I like this and
this and this, but you won't listen to or check

(09:59):
out the other thinks that he's done.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
Well, I haven't seen them. Every time when I'm driving in,
when I see the steven A. Smith has, I'll listen
to him. And everything he has said that I've seen,
I'm like, I agree with some things.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
Is a second to look.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
But he attacked Jalen Brown, the kid, the basketball player
from the Boston Celtics. He's attacked different players at different times,
and he's gone so far as to threaten them, and
the threat with them has always been like, Oh, you
don't want to get into it with me because of
what I know. Oh you don't want do you want
me to really start talking about what I know about you?

(10:34):
And so I would have had more respect for Stephen A.
Smith because that's the same response that he's had for
other people. But in this case, Oh, he's going to
take the high road. He won't do that. He won't
offer that for other politicians Jasmine Crockett's and these like
those people, but in this case he's going to do that.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
Well, he didn't really take the high road. He said
he was thinking of high road, and he was like,
I would love to debate you.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
That's what I'm telling you.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
If you take a second and you go back and
look at these same circumstances. He didn't offer anybody else
that he attacked them. He told me, you know, he's
straight up, it's a threat. You don't want to get
into it with He's the only sports guy doing that. Yeah,
you don't want to get into it with me because
of what I know. That's keep that same energy. If

(11:20):
you're gonna be that way with these people, deal with
this guy with the president. Yeah, that's all be consistent
I like the.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
Way he handled it when I heard it this morning,
But anyway, that came after because he basically is saying
what you're saying that, Hey, the reason the Knicks loss
is because you had to be narcissistic and show up
at the game and ruin everybody's uh juju and ruin
the ruined the role they were on. And it's he's saying,
that's your fault, mentioninal President. And then the President came

(11:46):
back and said, well, you're not a very smart guy.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
We had some Argentina was on the pitch last night.
Rest we're getting ready for the World Cup. They'd beat
Iceland three nil.

Speaker 4 (11:57):
Hair take that stupid little island.

Speaker 3 (11:59):
With MESSI actually made an appearance at scored a goal.
Tomorrow is full of dorks in York. Tomorrow we got
the first round of matches of the group stage. So
we got Mexico versus South Africa. That is the first
game on the first match of the evening. That's Group

(12:19):
A South Korea and Cheshnia Canada and Bozzi and Herzegovina,
and then we got the League of Friday. Those are
Friday matches are the United States will play Paraguay, Friday
night at nine o'clock and we'll keep an eye on that.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
That's Monster Sports Rush, all right.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
I got a little monch sports thing I want to
ask you about when we come back, and more big
dumb fun. If you want to text us you can
at seven seven zero three one. People are saying that
for the keyword birthday, you take it to the website,
not the two dred So I may have gotten that wrong.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
Do what you want, you know, hold on, I will
tell you right now.

Speaker 4 (12:58):
The website.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
It's a word birthday.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
I thought it was texted to two hundred two hundred,
but maybe I'm wrong.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
This is the twenty five hundred do right, twenty five
hundred dollars one?

Speaker 4 (13:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (13:08):
Does that take it to the website or take it
to the take to the streets and to the keywords
at real radio dot FM. Okay, so that's my bad.
It's yeah, you take birthday to real radio dot FM.
Plug that in for the two for the other one
is two hundred two hundred. I mean we're running too
right now, So I got confused.

Speaker 1 (13:23):
My bad.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
I do stupid stuff every once in a while. Don't

(13:44):
you want Monster merch you can get that at Real
Radiomonsters dot com. Welcome back. I'm Russ with Angel and
Ryan Ray Treinley here with us to day. But I
still want to I want to catch up with you
for sure. But we're still kind of on Monster Sports
a little bit because I wanted to talk about a
pretty big sports story that's out and that is Serena
Williams had a match, came back and of course she

(14:05):
had retired, felt like, you know, she was done. She's
won I forget how many titles she's won, and she's
won so many, you know, tournaments and things, and she's
the greatest female tennis player of all time, one of
the greatest athletes of all time. Decided to retire and
then just recently now their kids are kind of grown
up and everything, and she says, because she was taking

(14:26):
the GLP one, it's been easier for her to train
and to lose weight and all this, she decided to
come out of retirement. And of course, anytime an athlete
that is a high athlete comes back, we never know
if they're going to be able to be at that
level again, right, And it happened with a lot like
did Michael Jordan do that where he retired and came back.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
And people know he won championships. He stayed too long?
Jordan stayed too long?

Speaker 2 (14:49):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, but there have been other athletes
that and they come back.

Speaker 3 (14:54):
You're not as great as he used to be. It
happens with football players. They'll take that one season off
and then they come back and they're just steps flower.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
It's happened with Uh.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
It doesn't happen too often in the NBA where a
guy will actually sit out a season and come back,
And but when in the in the times that it has, yeah,
it's disastrous.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
And Serena has been out for a little while.

Speaker 4 (15:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (15:13):
But with Serena though, and again you've played Actually I
defer to you on this one because you have a
better understanding of tennis. So she's coming back, but as
of right now, she's only going to be playing doubles.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
No, she played doubles and and killed like like it
was her and this like half her age, and they
murdered whoever it was that Buco and the team they
played they thought were gonna win the whole thing, and
Serena like took over. And so after they interviewed her
and they said, do you think it will do Wimbledon?
And she's thinking about it. She might she might play

(15:46):
in Wimbledon. So that would be the scenario where where
the potential. Again, I'm just making these wild ass assumptions
because I think that the you know, between doubles and
UH and singles tennis, I think that with doubles there's
a place for you and I don't want to say hide,
but if you have a strong enough player, they can
cover for whatever weaknesses that you have. Yeah, a on

(16:07):
A on a singles, that's that's just you out there
and there's a bigger potential to be exposed. Well, that
was the story in this is that Serena was the
one who was doing the playing like and she had
his young partner and Serena was crushing crushing it and
all the all the people who are you know, I
guess your your tennis experts and everything were saying, yeah,

(16:28):
not only does she still got it, she looked better
than the last time we saw her.

Speaker 5 (16:31):
Test there she's on something that we're either not testing
for or don't have a test for.

Speaker 4 (16:36):
Yet.

Speaker 5 (16:36):
You don't come out at forty four years old like
that after like well, she says, the g LP won
the weight loss. Yeah, that's what it's gonna be. This
is gonna be a Lance Armstrong type of situation. I'm
calling it now, calling my shot. There's something we don't know.
She's gonna call it jeeve. If GLP won, maybe it
scans that way. But you just don't come out at
forty four years old suddenly.

Speaker 4 (16:55):
This getting her blood sponge exactly. There's something else going
on there, I think. So. Of course, if you take
gl P ones, I don't see you doing backflip.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
Well, I'll be honest with you. Like she she didn't
look like she was that much thinner. I didn't when
I saw her playing, like she just looks in shape.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
You want to do side by side some of the
things that I saw, like the last time that she
was playing let's say, you know, professional singles, and what
she looks like now again because that's the thing with
that drug. It does affect your muscle mass. So she
seemed you know, she's boy, she still looks fit, she
gat Yeah, she looks fit, but you could tell that

(17:34):
there there is a size difference.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
Well, I don't know. Look, I'm pulling for. I would
love to see her.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
I would love to see her play in Wimbledon and
do a great job and and damn win the thing.

Speaker 1 (17:44):
Just look at that look. Yeah, okay, that is uh.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
When she was playing last night though, on the court,
she kind of looked the exact same. But you're right
in that pink and that that purple thing. That was
the last time she played, and she was thicker there,
so she is thinner now.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
But uh, man, I'm pulling for. I think it's awesome.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
I mean to see her come back and prove that
she's the greatest female tennis player ever.

Speaker 1 (18:08):
I don't know. I think it's an awesome story.

Speaker 4 (18:10):
No, I agree. I think it's really cool to see
her come out and compete at a high level. I
do agree with Angel though, and again I'm not I'm
not a tennis expert by any stretch of the imagination,
but I do think that having somebody who can cover
half the court does allow you to maybe be a
step slower. Yeah, because obviously she still has the power.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
Well, she even said, she's like, yeah, I've got a
ways to go. She was very critical of herself. She's like, oh,
I you know, I've got room for growth, I got
room to improve, you know, which is what a great
athlete says, right, for sure, for sure. So I think
it's a cool story, for sure. Yeah, Like I'm pulling
for her. I think I think it would be awesome.
I think me really really cool. So but yeah, that
was a major story. But it's you know, for Serena

(18:49):
Williams to come back. Does it say how many years
she was off? Was it like two or three years? Said,
I think it was three or four. Yeah, And she
wanted to spend some time at home with the kids,
and she said, now our kids are old enough, like, well,
twenty twenty two, she's sitting around twenty twenty. Oh yeah,
it's been a while. She's now our kids are old enough,
and like she doesn't She's like, I have nothing to do,
figure might as well get back.

Speaker 4 (19:09):
And you know, but you don't find it fishy at all.

Speaker 5 (19:11):
I mean, like you go out of competition for four years,
I mean the highest level of competition.

Speaker 4 (19:15):
I don't care what you're doing.

Speaker 5 (19:16):
If you're not training for that specific level and you
just come back and you're just able to do it.

Speaker 4 (19:20):
I just don't believe in muscle memory that much. Do
not think that she was fourteen or play tennis when
she was retired.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
And she's one of the greatest play players ever.

Speaker 5 (19:29):
And she's also forty four, and like, you're gonna kick
You're gonna kick in weird stuff. You're gonna get perimenopausal,
You're gonna get start with the osteoporosis.

Speaker 4 (19:37):
There's still you know what comes in. I mean it
could be hormone. Really, you mentioned like some secret sauce
that they're not testing for me. It could be the
hormones and related to perimenopositas. I mean, like, so what
so she'm telling look for me?

Speaker 5 (19:49):
Allegedly My conspiracy there on this is that there's some
kind of version of juicing that's happening here that we
are not detecting. We probably never will because I don't
think it's not like a Lance Armstrong where they constantly
go back and do this. They're not going to test
forty four year olds three and wims because everybody's.

Speaker 4 (20:05):
Like, what a great story. Yeah, you know, I think
part of the problem Ryan, I think it's you're trying
to get back in the gym, you realize how much
harder it is, yes, and taking it out on the.

Speaker 3 (20:17):
How about this, Like that's if she's doing all those things.
Like if she's doing all those things, if Tom Brady
was doing those things, if Lebron James has been doing
those things, and even though they're sporting the leagues that
they're played for, don't test for it yet or whatever
is beyond, well, then why not be honest about it?

Speaker 2 (20:35):
Well, she's being honest about the GLP one. I mean,
she got she got a commercial her taking it. She's
telling everybody she's doing it has helped her and she
even said it's helped her stay in shape and it
was getting difficult for her to stay in shape when
she retired. And now she's like, oh, I could have
played longer if I'd have had this before, and she's
given it credit.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
I see now they're wrong with it.

Speaker 5 (20:54):
I know in all of history this has never happened.
So I'm just supposed to believe.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
That in all history, people haven't had GLP ones help
them lose weight.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
She's lost the weight, and she feels she runs a
little bit faster, she feels better.

Speaker 1 (21:06):
So she's admitting more light on her feet.

Speaker 5 (21:08):
But that's not what gop ones do. They don't suddenly
make you like back to absolute athletic form. No, they
help you drop in your twenties. It helps you drop fat.
And if you drop fat, and then for her, it's
probably easier to run. Have you been fooled by a
lot of Facebook stuff?

Speaker 1 (21:24):
What was that got to do with it?

Speaker 5 (21:24):
You're a You're You're a bit of a rube when
it comes to this. Guys, if you want to believe
that this thing is a thing, and I have to
look at it and go like, this has never happened
in history.

Speaker 4 (21:33):
No one's ever done this.

Speaker 5 (21:35):
So there's something else at play, LIKELP I guess, but
you can't fight the fact that she's forty four and
forty four year olds A.

Speaker 4 (21:45):
Don't look like that and B don't move like that. Man,
I think you're looking back in the mirror. You just gotch.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
I know what it's like to be She's one of
the greatest professional athletes to ever live. One of though,
right in the top ten at least, and you're like.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
The top fantasize I mean we everybody, we are again,
there's no fault in you, Russ if you're if you're
going to romanticize it, fine, you want to be. We
all want to think that our you know, hero has
got one more go to them.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
You want it.

Speaker 3 (22:15):
You want to believe the Disney story, yes, you want yeah,
fair version. And then when it comes crashing down and
she doesn't do that, you're going to be heartbroken.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
So you don't think.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
Listen, I think that she's going to play in Wimbledon,
and I think she's gonna win a couple of pretty
big matches and that'll be cool. I don't think she'll
win the entire tournament, but it'll be it'll be a
cool you know she came back kind of thing.

Speaker 5 (22:38):
I think you're going to try to play whenleton they're
gonna be like, well, we got to test you. And
then suddenly she went, oh, actually I can't do it.
It's crazy. What maybe next time?

Speaker 3 (22:47):
Well, this was a big tournament though, this was the
what's the HB Like, this was a sanction HSBC Championships,
So this is Uh, this was a testeder uh And
in that world of that, from this point forward, she
will be tested quite regularly.

Speaker 4 (23:05):
Right, I know. But like much like in the way
there's they're always coming up with new stuff.

Speaker 1 (23:09):
I agree with you.

Speaker 3 (23:10):
That's because the same thing that we're saying about her
rust is the same thing that was said about Tom Brady,
is the same thing that has been said about Lebron James,
same thing that's said about Luca when he went again.
Why why did Luca leave this country to rehab and
went straight to Germany?

Speaker 4 (23:25):
Right?

Speaker 3 (23:25):
These are questions that are asked when these high athletes
who have deep, deep pockets that have access to other
types of medicine and recovery things that us regular people don't.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
Right, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
I like a good comeback story. Well, I want to
see her do well. People saying she already she did
get tested for peds that she she had none. Uh
so your your observation has already been.

Speaker 5 (23:49):
Addressed town conspiracy theory. At this point, I got no
proof other than like, this doesn't.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
Happen, and there's no way to test for stem cells,
you know, And so the stem cell thing is one
of those things that's been you know again, hurled at
all these athletes that are forty and over that are
doing you know, other worldly things that haven't been done before.

Speaker 1 (24:09):
Right, all right, we'll take a little break and come back.
We'll wrap up.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
Well, we'll get with Ray Trentley find out, uh he
see if he had a good time on Friday night
he was out with us for the the Mount Dora.

Speaker 1 (24:21):
We'll talk to Ray when we candays trived to you by.

Speaker 3 (24:23):
Just callmo Orlandos injury turneys. When you're looking for best
in new music or a deep cut, you know, I
got you covered. And when you're out about anywhere in
Central Florida and you happen to be an accident, remember if.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
You're in this team's always ready to assist you. Just
keeping with the fame.

Speaker 4 (24:37):
This is Steely Dan with.

Speaker 1 (24:40):
Black How what is Steely Dan?

Speaker 4 (24:44):
Uh? Is that it's a dildough No, And I.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
Know that, hold on, hold on, hold on, I know that,
But is that what is that prog rock? Steely Dan
is a delo It's yacht rock, dude, It's yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
Remember the documentary and he and he hated the fact
that the Steely Day was.

Speaker 1 (25:05):
Was included all that Oh, I sure do like it though.
Everyone seely Day.

Speaker 3 (25:09):
I like, that's that that really fantastic documentary that's on
HBO about yacht Rah.

Speaker 4 (25:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
Was his named Steve Egan or Shawn and Steve Egan
Steve anyway.

Speaker 3 (25:18):
But yeah, he was like at the center of it,
and yeah, it's at the end of it. He's just
telling him the f off. Yeah, all that stuff.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
And I don't even know that song you just played,
but I just was like the the way it sounds.

Speaker 1 (25:29):
Anyway, that was my little not to New York as well.
You guys get your ass.

Speaker 2 (25:32):
Together, and it's called black Cow's name track is called
black how Today's National Black Cow Day. Let me ask
you a question, raight t Have you ever had a
black cow? I've had chocolate milk. That's not that's not it.
That's not it. A black cow is basically root beer
with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in it.

Speaker 4 (25:50):
Oh yeah, most people yes, But.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
But what is it called?

Speaker 4 (25:55):
Ryan?

Speaker 1 (25:55):
You looked it up.

Speaker 2 (25:57):
It's called a black cow, that's but that's.

Speaker 4 (26:00):
What it is.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
It's the National Black Cow Day, and that's what it is.
I had a root beer float yesterday.

Speaker 4 (26:04):
Did you with my hot dog and baked beans.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
I like you better this way. I hated you when
you were trying to lose weight and you were bro
grumpy about food. And I love the fact you're eating
a hot dog with.

Speaker 4 (26:19):
Beans, onions some mustard. Where'd you get that at Hot
Dog Heaven? Oh?

Speaker 1 (26:24):
I love Hot Dog Heaven. I've known the owner forever.

Speaker 2 (26:27):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
I like to get the Chicago Dog when I go there.

Speaker 4 (26:30):
I got Chicago dog too.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
Damn man.

Speaker 4 (26:33):
There was a conversation how many hot dogs? Too many
hot dogs? At my office last night.

Speaker 2 (26:38):
I got a party with that cowboy that sounds like
I haven't been a Hot Dog Heaven forever.

Speaker 1 (26:41):
I love that place.

Speaker 2 (26:42):
We got the date night later. The fries there. That
is an Orlando institution. You've never been to Hot Dog
Heaven and the owner and I'm so sorry.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
I can't.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
If I saw him, I'd say, hey, buddy, what's up.
I can't remember his first name, but man, Jimmy and
I Jim Colbert, dirty Jim whatever. We used to go
there all the time when we first started the radio show,
and they were one of they sponsored like a couple
of shows for us or whatever. And and I've known
him since the friggin nineties.

Speaker 4 (27:09):
Yeah yeah, I mean I've been since I've been Orlando,
I've been going there and still amazing.

Speaker 2 (27:15):
His daughter runs it now he kind of retired. I
think that's the last time I went there. That's what
she told me. But anyway, Wow, So you went to
Donald Fagan is from U Steely Yeah yeah, yeah, So
tell me Ray, you were one of our guests out
at the Monster night. You know, Monster's not a live

(27:36):
night out in Mount Dora Mount Dora Music Hall. I
had you set up. You know, this was on purpose.
I had you set up next to Angelique because there
you guys get along real well when you in our area,
so you could be with all of us. You know,
how'd you feel about you know where I had you
set because you were in the air conditioning.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
I didn't want you outside.

Speaker 4 (27:52):
I was right in the air conditioning. Was amazing. Yeah,
the way you had it set up, I mean, bo
shout out to Bow. Yeah, hey man, if you stand
right here, this is where the ace is blowing. And
so uh it was. It was a perfect setup. So
even though I got a little I got a little
s for wearing my suit because I came straight from
the office. Yeah, I was comfortable. I was right by

(28:14):
the a C. Took a lot of selfies with folks.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
Do people know it was you? And they know it
sign was there.

Speaker 4 (28:21):
I felt weird because you know, when I meet somebody
for the first time, I introduced myself and they're like, yeah,
we know who you are, and I was like, but
I don't know who you are, and I don't know
how to start this conversation with I'm I'm Ray, you know,
nice to beat you, and so, uh, it was really
cool setup. I ended up sitting next to this lady
who had never listened to The Monsters in the morning before.

(28:44):
She was a fan of the band, and so we
were just chatting it up. Uh, you know, before the
show started.

Speaker 1 (28:50):
With bad saying Angry.

Speaker 4 (28:53):
Angry else and she's a big fan of the band,
and so she they told her to come out, and
so she's there and she's like, what what is this
setup and tried to explain what the show is about.
I was like, you know, it's it's kind of like
comedy talk radio. They talk about sports, they talk about life,
they talk about music, whatever. And she's like, oh, this
just sounds really cool. English was not her first language.
She was from Puerto Rico, and so you know, I

(29:16):
share a little this stuff about Angel and Daisy and
I'm like, oh, you know, Daisy's wild, and you know,
I mentioned Ryan this comedy and and she said, oh,
the guy in the chair, is he a pimp? And
I was like, what do you mean. He's like hey.
She's like, look at all these prostitutes up there, and
she was referring to Daisy and Amber and I was like, oh, no, you.

(29:43):
I didn't really know what to say about you. So,
you know, I'm talking about Angel, he's talking about Ryan,
and so she's like, oh, he must be the pimp.
And I was like, oh no, no, no. I was like, no,
they're not institutes. I was like, they're not prostitutes.

Speaker 2 (29:55):
She's like, oh, porn stars, and I mean one kind
of that's hilarious.

Speaker 4 (30:02):
And so then I correct her and then she's like
terribly embarrassed. She's like, please, don't tell them I said this.
And I said, I'm absolutely gonna tell them you said this.
And I was really hoping Amber is going to be
here for this conversation because and how uh, how upset
she would be.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
I guess the way it was set up. It was
I'm sitting up here, and then three ladies were.

Speaker 4 (30:18):
In front of you and and apparently to THEE did
talk about starting prostitution again, bringing it back. That is fair.
Uh we should I think? She no, that's sacrilegious. How
I'm but yeah, so it was. It was so funny
and trying to explain like the context when Angelique was

(30:41):
doing her thing with Dirty Jim Jim Colbert and with
Tiffany and and bo and talking about like the show
when it first started. It was, you know, trying to
give her context of all things. So it's like almost
I was like narrating it to her and I, well,
here's how the show started and here's what happened. And
she's like, oh, she was so interested in it, really good.

(31:02):
And then so she said she was going to be
listening for now on. She says she's going to be
a listener for life, and uh, so hopefully she's listening.
I forgot your name. I'm sorry. I was. She's had
a great time as well. But uh, and then the
band was amazing.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
Tyler King Tyler killed it. I swear that kid. He
he absolutely amazes me. And he's actually recording a song
I believe it's today with Monster music man Matt an
original song and uh and and I think, I don't
want to give anything away, but he's they're making some
changes in what he does and uh manh energy that
I could see that kid going places.

Speaker 4 (31:37):
Hundred percent, one hundred percent. I mean, every part of
the show was amazing Friday end. If you missed it,
you missed it. I'm sorry. Every part of the show
is amazing, But I felt like just the music part,
the production part, you know, Angel doing his thing, I
thought I would have gone just for that. It was
so good. It was such a good time. So those

(31:59):
things are a lot of work together. I literally have
no idea. I can imagine though.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
Yeh, but but I love here.

Speaker 2 (32:07):
For me, that very last thing when we come out,
we're all singing the beer song together and you see
the audience and the crowd getting into it. For sure,
to me is the payoff. My my wife is like,
why do you put yourself through all this? And I'm like,
I like to watch everybody have fun. And so when
I'm on stage and I'm legitimately having the most fun
of my life watching everybody else dig that sing a
damn song. We wrote and they're showing into it, you know,

(32:27):
and I just thought it was great. Well, I appreciate
you coming out, Thank you for having me. I really
appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
And I got you. You got to see you got
to meet We already met del Torborgan before medal before you. Yeah,
but anyone, anyone that you got to meet for the
first time.

Speaker 4 (32:39):
So I met Onyx for the first time on the one. Yeah,
he's great and and you guys mentioned that he's a
big dude, but you know, wrestling dudes, you don't really
can't really tell. Yeah, sometimes you can't tell. At least
he's a big dude. Yes, and he just seems super
sweet and nice. Uh so he's he's my kind of people.
So we chatted a little bit good and it did

(33:00):
shot to tequila because Daisy had tequila.

Speaker 1 (33:04):
Y did you meet Tuttle?

Speaker 4 (33:07):
I met Tottle a long time ago, but Tuttle I
talked a little bit. And when I saw Ryan walking
around with a sword, and somehow I thought the sword
was gonna be part of the gammick. I'm glad it wasn't.
The fact that Daisy was gonna be the one wielding
the weapon I'm glad it wasn't a sword. No, that
would be really bad, really bad. But I think most

(33:30):
folks i'd met before at least once. Rodney and I
chatted for a long time. Rodney the Gator Hunter. I
met his daughter for the first time. She seems awesome
and uh yeah, it was just overall a really great time.

Speaker 2 (33:46):
Yeah, you know, you know who. Everybody was doing well
at talking everyone. The one that I kind of wanted
to help a little bit was brion A Rheaz. Did
you get to meet her?

Speaker 1 (33:55):
She's the same.

Speaker 4 (33:56):
I shook her hand and talked to her little bit.
I talked to her so sweet.

Speaker 2 (33:59):
But she's young, you know, and and I don't know
that people were talking to her enough, so I kept
trying to send people over to her. But she's an incredible,
incredible singer. I think she's sixteen years old, so it
probably was overwhelming for her. But her parents brought her
and she had all her merchandise and stuff.

Speaker 4 (34:14):
I shook her hand and I met her when she
first came on. Yeah, and I just asked how she
was doing and you know, enjoying her summer and stuff
like that. I didn't really spend a ton of time
talking to her. I do think I think you're right.
I think that's setting. With all the people that were.

Speaker 2 (34:29):
There, it was loud with Jeff how plain in there was.

Speaker 4 (34:32):
It was loud, but it was also just loud of
people having a good time. Yeah, and so I think
that might have been a little bit intimidating for But
I mean, I think she's super awesome, and I, you know,
continue to support her because she's great.

Speaker 5 (34:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:45):
Yeah, well I appreciate you coming out. Yeah, take the
photos of people and everything. We gotta take a little break,
