Speaker 1 (04:27):
And then we've got to tell the truth.

Speaker 8 (04:29):
I dog on cats because well, let's be honest, they suck.
They're pretty horrible, matter of fact. That's why it's called
dog on cats. Right, Like you dog on something, you
don't cat on something.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
That's a true statement.

Speaker 8 (04:40):
Just another reason to show how superior dogs already cats.
This is a pretty amazing story though, because a family moved.
They moved from Washington State to Colorado, and when they
were packing, their cat went missing. They thought maybe got
scared when the movers all those things that just like
took off whatever, right, Obviously, family devastated. Though I don't

(05:02):
like cats, I know some people love their cats and
it is a family pet and they cherish it.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
And they were upset and sad.

Speaker 9 (05:10):
So they're moving in the new home and they're unpacking
and their stuff shows up from the movers, and they
bring the couch in and they bring the tables in
and the beds and all that stuff, and they hear
a meow. Oh the cat had.

Speaker 8 (05:22):
Been in a rollaway bed into a couch for three weeks.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
Wow. Wow, that's a long time.

Speaker 8 (05:30):
The cat was of course medically famished and all those
things and had to see the vet and get brought
back you know, too normal levels. And it did and
everything's fine. But again, it just proves how stubborn cats are. Yes, right, no, man,
it didn't want to give up. No, it was in
a couch. Why was it in the couch exactly.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
They like to hide in the most precurious places.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
They don't want to be bothered crawling up in your
engine compartment moving?

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Are they doing? These dummies?

Speaker 4 (06:04):
Let it go, man. I mean, we've read stories before
of animals that like will travel thousands of miles like
a homeword bound kind of almost sort of thing.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
Dogs.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
I think there's big cats.

Speaker 9 (06:17):
Yeahies of cats. There may be one. There's way more
dog stories.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Yeah that do that.

Speaker 8 (06:23):
And dogs are notorious sniffers. They have a good snout
to be able to. Cats are not known for.

Speaker 10 (06:29):
That, right, And I don't necessarily know that it's cats traveling,
but it's someone finding a cat, and they're like, oh,
let's see if you're chipped, and then they find the
owner in another state.

Speaker 9 (06:38):
That I'm one hundred percent with.

Speaker 8 (06:40):
Yeah, they moved, and they're like a cat cat things right,
just did its own thing.

Speaker 9 (06:46):
But I don't think a cat's been out there like.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
You have to give it though. I mean, cats are
pretty well self sufficient when it comes to being pets,
right You all you need to do is have a
litter box and a bowl of food water out for them.
You don't have to have some to come over, like
you go on vacation for a week. Right, You don't
have to worry about your cat. You don't have to
have somebody come over and take care of your cat.
Let your cat out, you know, make sure the cat's
being fed or whatever.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
You just give a big enough ould of food. You
good to go.

Speaker 4 (07:13):
With dogs, you gotta have somebody come over the airstrm
let them out and make.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Sure that they got every day.

Speaker 8 (07:20):
Because at some point the cats trained us. At some
point we went I'm not training this cat to go outside.
I'm done. Just put a box on the ground. At
some point, that's how maniocal cats are. They forced humans
to submit, right, They go outside. The animal, by nature standards,

(07:43):
goes outside. But at some point it made humans go tap.
I'm done just pee in the house, at least just
trying to do.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
It in the box.

Speaker 4 (07:55):
Right, Well, I wish my dogs were a litter box
train at all. They are, right, it's just the house,
right right. They talk like legit, litter box, you know,
I'll change it out. I'll change out the litter. I
got no problem with that. I am tired of letting

(08:15):
them some bitches out of it, and especially with this
recent snow right and it's all melting, and my dogs
are huge and they have torn up my back I don't.

Speaker 9 (08:25):
Have any grass in my backyard at all. What sweat
tell everybody. For those who don't remember, are unaware the
type of animals.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
You have two Great danes, two full size of Great danes.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
One of them is six maybe seven, and the other
one is like four maybe five, right, so they're adult
and they're massive, and when they go out and run,
they run like big horses and they tear up that yard.
And like I said, I got no grass in there.
It's all just mut and when the snow melted, now

(08:56):
it's just a sloppy mess.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
In my backyard. So okay, fantastic.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
How do you battle keeping muddy paw prints from coming
into the house?

Speaker 11 (09:05):
Right?

Speaker 1 (09:06):
Well, yeah, right, that's the thing.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
I know, I've said, the thing I've seen them, so like,
all right, my first thought was, oh, I'll just put
down a towel. Okay, we'll put down a towel, and
that way, when they come running through the house, you know,
coming from outside, their muddy paw prints will basically get
all over the towel before it hits the carpet. One
towel wasn't enough, all right, fine, let's get another spare towel.

(09:31):
Two towels. Two towels wasn't enough. What do I gotta do?
A towel and a goddamn blanket that I never use
because that covers enough surface areas for when these damn
horse come galloping into my house.

Speaker 8 (09:49):
Yeah, you're make it a great argument for me to
get a dog. But that's not the only two dogs
you have, right, I know. I've got a Chihuahua as well,
And those are the only three dogs that I have.
Just those, the two Danes and a Chhuahua and.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
The chuaha is not a big deal.

Speaker 9 (10:01):
It goes outside smaller surface area very much.

Speaker 4 (10:04):
So you know, she'll go offside, even with the mud,
with all the other ones that have created all the
mud back there. She comes in with her tiny little paws,
you know stuff, and you know, and I got no problem.
I don't have giant muddy footprints. I don't even have
tiny little mud prints when it comes to her. Oh god,
damn danes Man.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
Yeah, hard pass.

Speaker 9 (10:30):
Yeah, I'm not. I'm a slave to him. Plenty of things.
I don't need to be a slave to a dog
as well, or dogs.

Speaker 4 (10:35):
Yeah, yeah, I just you know, when it came down
to separation, I was like, oh, you're you're you're barely
a mother as it is, so I don't want you.
I don't think you could take care of these animals.
I will go ahead and take the burden.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
So many people don't even realize what just happened.

Speaker 8 (10:52):
Problem, But when it comes to like dealing with dogs
and cats and making them, yeah, cats, they totally made
humans quit, right, such a wild thing?

Speaker 1 (11:03):
How that?

Speaker 9 (11:03):
Like I want to know who was the guy was like, no,
let's just do a little box, right, were cats prior
to litter boxes just taking dumps anywhere?

Speaker 2 (11:13):
Well, there are always been, There've always been barriers. They
always bury there.

Speaker 9 (11:18):
But at what point did it come inside?

Speaker 4 (11:20):
Exactly right, right right, somebody got a cardboard box or
a box of some kind and some sand, okay, and
put the sand in there because they're like, well, I mean,
they got to bury it. We can't just let them
crap in an empty box, so we'll throw some sand
in there.

Speaker 10 (11:33):
We had a cat growing up that we found and kept,
and it would not use a litter box. It always
went outside to do its business, okay, and would I mean,
and he was an indoor outdoor cat, but he would
never come inside. My dad loved that cat because, hey,
no litter box, no cats smell in the house.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
Perfect.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
That is not common at all, rare to you, for sure.

Speaker 8 (12:01):
I don't know if this is the real, but this
says the invention of kitty litter happened in nineteen forty seven,
which isn't that long ago, by a man named Edward Lowe.
And he was a businessman in Michigan who used Whose
neighbor asked for sand for her cat's box. Instead, he
gave her a type of absorbent clay used in industrial application.

(12:26):
She found it absorbed moisture, and then that became kitty litter.
Cats naturally bury their waist, as we talked about a
minute ago, so it's instinctive. The transition to indoor litter
boxes was easy because the material mimicked natural substrates. Thanks
to Edward Low, kitty litter became a household staple, making

(12:47):
an indoor cat ownership much cleaner and convenient.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
Well f you ed.

Speaker 8 (12:53):
Before kitty litter, people who kept indoor cats often used sand, dirt,
or even ash from wood stoves for litter boxes, but
it was obviously very messy and not very effective for
controlling odor. So cats were just like a thing you
kept around the farm or the plantation or the land
or the ranch or whatever.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
They keep rodents out and stuff like that.

Speaker 9 (13:15):
And then somebody visited their friend out on the ranch
from the city.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
And I was like, well, I want a cat. Huh.

Speaker 4 (13:22):
No.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
I think they go back further that.

Speaker 4 (13:24):
I think it goes back to like Cleopatra times when
they had cats domesticated as pets and stuff like that.

Speaker 8 (13:30):
I don't know if they were domesticated them, right, they
worship they worshiped.

Speaker 9 (13:34):
Yeah, they may have had them around, right, but there
was no like.

Speaker 8 (13:38):
They didn't have kibble, right, they didn't have dentty time
or whatever. There was no vet, right, it was just
the animal that was around.

Speaker 4 (13:49):
Any animal, honestly, was a household pet at that point
in time. You let your donkey in the house, and
that's your household pet.

Speaker 8 (13:55):
I don't even know if it was like to keep
mice away. I think they were just around and then
some just came.

Speaker 9 (14:01):
Back a lot, right. I don't know if there was
the idea that Cleopatra lived like us, right and had
a cat.

Speaker 8 (14:09):
That she petted and all those things. It was just
an animal. She probably pets a lot of animals, right, right.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
Well that's what hieroglyphics would lead you to believe.

Speaker 9 (14:16):
I mean, that's would be an interpretation, right.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
Right.

Speaker 8 (14:22):
I was watching a video of an orca swimming onto
shore to get a seal, right, and annihilate wouldn't even
be an accurate term. But it gets this seal, puts.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
In his mouth and his flannel in and around, you know, and.

Speaker 8 (14:39):
That not only to disable the seal, but also to
wiggle its way back into the water.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
Right.

Speaker 9 (14:46):
Just a gnarly show of power, right, Just awesome too.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
I'll show.

Speaker 8 (14:53):
I'll send you guys a link. Just amazing video. But
the really compelling part is the other Seal.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
Not Karen.

Speaker 8 (15:03):
They're just like, no, no, right, They're just like some
are watching, some are kind of just doing the Seal things,
some aren't doing anything.

Speaker 4 (15:13):
To be fair, Let's say the three of us are
out patio party.

Speaker 8 (15:17):
Or what, I'm running my ass off said, Orca comes
up on the shore, Orca or nice lady.

Speaker 4 (15:24):
I was going to say, just a giant in general,
you gotta think about that.

Speaker 9 (15:27):
I'm running for my life.

Speaker 4 (15:28):
Absolutely. I am not going to try to save either
one of you. I know both of you. Yeah, like family,
but y'all's on your own. If a giant starts attacking
one of you, I'm out.

Speaker 8 (15:40):
I may grab an art like if you like Lindsay's
next to me, or you're next to me, I may
grab your arm and try to pull you in my direction. Right,
But if the giant, if you're on the other side,
by the by the beer tub, I'm gonna go run.

Speaker 9 (15:54):
And then I'm going I'm not running to you.

Speaker 4 (15:57):
Yeah, you are on your own.

Speaker 8 (15:59):
But I'm imagine that happening and me just sitting in
my bear just watching thanks.

Speaker 4 (16:04):
To I be eating alive here or go.

Speaker 8 (16:08):
But anyway, right and continue on because that's what the
seals are doing. Just animals are so crazy, how different
they are than humans in regards to you think they're
gonna be like, you know, scared or whatever. There was
no sense at least by body demonstration body motions of
being scared or concerned or danger is imminent.

Speaker 4 (16:30):
They might have tried to get involved earlier, you know,
and and and I loved okay, you know, and it's like,
you know, a couple of them, they're like, oh no,
let's try to save Johnny.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
You know, the this giant whale is gonna eat them.

Speaker 4 (16:42):
And it did no good, right, you know, one person
tries to go save Johnny the seal and that that
one's seem.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
Playing there like nihilis. They're like, what's the reason why, No,
I'm not messed with that.

Speaker 4 (16:56):
You remember what happened last time somebody intervened in a
whale attack.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
When that boat showed up and I got the spears,
I didn't work out. Well, just look at this guy.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
Nope, just be grateful it wasn't you this time.

Speaker 9 (17:08):
Right, It's either a spear or a bat or a whale.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
It's always something.

Speaker 8 (17:15):
It's always some When we were younger, that's probably why
it was make make not whaling great again, right, some
sort of statement like that. All right, we got to
take a break. We've got tickets Giovanni and the Higher Guns.
We've got a pair of tickets to do that for
that show March fourteenth. The Canes will do that at
seven thirty Rockaholm announcement coming up as well.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
We'll take a break and we'll be back.

Speaker 4 (22:23):

his fists up at him and then starts swinging at the.

Speaker 1 (22:33):

Speaker 4 (22:35):

bystander that tried to pull This Sean feller off of
The hispanic feller and it didn't work out, Though and

Speaker 10 (29:29):
Dude The Minnesota timberwolves dug themselves out of a twenty

The Brooklyn nets tomorrow night at six. Thirty according to
an affidavid cited by The Denver, Post broncos outside linebackers
Coach Michael wilhoyt is now facing a felony assault. Charge,
Allegedly wilhoyt spent His sunday assaulting a police officer at
The Denver International. Airport the affidavit states that the officer

(30:59):
would punched in the face by Will hoyt after the
coach allegedly told him to shut the f up after
being told he couldn't leave his vehicle unattended in the
drop off. Lane, reportedly there was also some chest bumping
and shoving during the, confrontation and a taser was. Fired
The broncos have confirmed that they're aware of the situation

(31:21):
and are in the process of gathering more. Information the
tush push could become a thing of the. PAST Nfl
Executive Vice president Of Football Operations Troy vincent said yesterday
that an unidentified team has submitted a rule proposal to
ban the controversial quarterback. SNEAK nfl owners could vote on

(31:43):
the proposal next month at the owner's meeting In Palm,
beach unless the team decides to withdraw its. Proposal the
play has been looked at by THE nfl and The
Competition committee in previous off, seasons but no action has been.
Taken The Philadelphia eagles And Buffalo bills have scored a
touchdown or gotten a first down on eighty seven percent

(32:04):
of their tush push. Attempts the rest of the league
has been successful just seventy one percent of the.

Speaker 4 (32:09):
Time so are they bitching just because they're not as
good about doing.

Speaker 1 (32:13):
It or they can't do it?

Speaker 8 (32:15):
Well, no Green bay bringing it forward is really unique
Because Green.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
Bay does this and is successful with.

Speaker 2 (32:20):
It that's the team that's bringing it forward.

Speaker 8 (32:22):
Correct so to, me it's, LIKE i don't know if
it should be changed or outlawed because no one can stop.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
IT i safety would be.

Speaker 8 (32:34):
The only, thing, Right, like how many people are getting
injured when it's done against? Them how much danger is
it to the, center who does most of the work
in The brotherly shove or the buffalo bump as they
like to call. It but to, me that would be
the only reason to get rid of.

Speaker 4 (32:52):
It but the quarterback snake has never, been isn't.

Speaker 1 (32:54):
It this isn't a quarterback. SNEAK i mean it kind of.
Is get what you're. Saying they're using the rest of
the team to push.

Speaker 9 (32:59):
It, guy it is a rugby, scrum, Right it's a
completely different type of. Play it's a physics. Play it
isn't a strategy. Play if it, works it, WORKS i.

Speaker 4 (33:07):
DON'T i think the other teams are just jealous because
they can't pull it off as, well you, know and
and they're just crying engish. Dap it's not for ear.

Speaker 8 (33:15):
Well, again it is a physics. Play it is about
the laws of. Physics this is not about. Strategy it's
not caught catching the other ones off. Guard it is
one physics And philadelphia executes it.

Speaker 1 (33:29):
Flawlessly.

Speaker 8 (33:30):
Yeah but if it is a safety issue for, players
whether it be the center or the defensive line or,
whoever then, YEAH i think it's worth looking into to
see if it's dangerous and makes. Sense but to bring
it up for opposition because you can't stop.

Speaker 1 (33:46):
IT i think is.

Speaker 9 (33:47):
Stupid i'm with you on, That but IF i remember
the stat it's like The eagles are successful eighty.

Speaker 8 (33:53):
Seven percent of the time while the other teams are
like seventy one that do predue.

Speaker 4 (33:58):
It, well, well it's still it was.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
Not, bad it's not and if they practice it's it's.

Speaker 8 (34:03):
Not but of the other that sounds this is the
problem with. Stats eighty So eagles are eighty one percent.
Successful other teams that do, it it doesn't list how
many other teams do.

Speaker 10 (34:14):
It it says The eagles and The bills have scored
a touchdown or gotten a first down on eighty seven
percent of their push.

Speaker 8 (34:21):
Attempts, yeah but seventy one percent of the other who
are the other the rest of the?

Speaker 1 (34:25):
League it makes?

Speaker 8 (34:26):
It, yeah so who does? It The chiefs don't do it, right,
RIGHT i. THINK i think The broncos have done. It
so you got to have a quarterback that takes, hits, Right.

Speaker 4 (34:39):
Not everybody's willing to do.

Speaker 1 (34:40):
That not every quarterback don't do.

Speaker 9 (34:42):
It uh, YEAH i don't think. So chiefs don't do
it because they.

Speaker 8 (34:46):
Did they tried to do it one time And mahomes
twisted his knee up into the season, Right so to,
me it is a physics. Play it isn't a skill
or strategy play.

Speaker 10 (34:57):
Well but still like just because it's not, FOREVER i
don't think that they should remove. It not everyone can
do What Patrick mahomes, does but people want, to you,
know moan and complain about what he does and say
that it's not.

Speaker 2 (35:07):
Fair, no it's just that he's.

Speaker 1 (35:09):
Doing a physical.

Speaker 8 (35:10):
Ability there's physics and then there's physical. Ability, yeah and
this is a laws and it's a play from another.

Speaker 1 (35:17):
Sport it's a rugby.

Speaker 10 (35:19):
Scrum, WELL i mean they're bringing rugby players over into,
play so not many make, it that's.

Speaker 2 (35:26):
True BUT i still think they should be able to keep.

Speaker 10 (35:29):
It. Uh and that is your balls to the wall
sports And lendsay on ninety seven to FIVE.

that car. First.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
WOW i didn't know.

Speaker 10 (38:13):
THAT i always thought people did it like if they
didn't have a. Child but it would be like just
to have people slow down or be more.

Speaker 8 (38:20):
Aware do you slow down if you see a baby
on board or some stick figure thing on the.

Speaker 2 (38:24):
Back, No BUT i feel like maybe people would back.
Up i'll not r or something who knows No.

Speaker 8 (38:32):
NO i think it's strictly from a emergency response. Standpoint
if you visit someone in the in the, hospital it
says stage a photo or two in the hospital bed
for the perfect. Future sick injured don't want an. Excuse
so when you go to visit, someone take a picture
with you, know with, them and then you be, like,
Hey i'm in the. Hospital my friend's. Sick in the.

(38:54):
Future so if you don't want to go to, work
you don't want to go to.

Speaker 1 (38:57):
A, party you. Know, Wow, again they're not.

Speaker 2 (39:00):

Speaker 8 (39:19):
It if the person in front of you on a

are completely entitled to do and leaves you with no,
room turn on the air conditioning above you to full,
blast and point it at the top of their.

Speaker 4 (39:34):
Head some people might like that, Though, yeah that could
backfire on.

Speaker 1 (39:38):
You but some people could not.

Speaker 8 (39:39):
Right if a relative keeps asking you about having, kids
lie that your wife is. Pregnant a few months, later
tell them there was a miscarriage so they'll they'll feel
uncomfortable bringing it.

Speaker 9 (39:51):
Up, ever, again.

Speaker 8 (40:20):
Cones i've done that and moved a cone On my wife's,
like what are you? Doing i'm like, that this is
just a, cone has no authority because people do. This
if it's posted with a sign that the status or
the city is, going hey don't park, here that's. Different
but if there's, nothing it's just a. CONE i just

(40:41):
move the. Cone pour cheap wine into expensive bottles to
serve your guests in order to make them think you're
serving them premium.

Speaker 4 (40:51):
Stuff, Wow i've heard of that.

Speaker 10 (40:53):
Before there's a docu series about a guy that was doing,
that selling a high End.

Speaker 1 (40:59):
Well that's obviously a, leek but that's not what we're talking, about.
Right these are just making your guests think that you're.

Speaker 8 (41:03):
Fancy if a computer illiterate relative or friend asked you
to fix their slow computer boost their cursor speed by
a notch or, two they'll instantly notice a difference and thank.
YOU i don't like this one because then that encourages

(41:24):
future requests for. Assistance when you give someone a gift
card as a, gift write down the card number and.
Code then after a year or, two check the balance
and if they haven't used, it use it. Yourself they
won't know, wow because gift cards usually don't get.

don't smell, poop say, whoa somebody has a poopy. Diaper
then take them to the other room and pretend to change.

(42:21):
Them then the next time they, poop tell your, Spouse,
hey it's your. TURN i changed them last. Time Oh, god,

A humanitarian of The year with. This if you come
across a dating profile begging for, money send them a
request for some same amount instead of a. Gift many

(42:42):
times they are too careless to read and will automatically
accept it because they assume another desperate guy is sending.
CASH i don't know anything about any of that stuff

employment gap that is hurting your, resume claim that you

that sense and it'll do that. Too have a racist
grandmother who doesn't photoshop a picture of your sibling with
a black man or woman and tell her they're. Engaged
she will take them out of the will and you'll

(47:49):
get a bigger.

Speaker 1 (47:49):
Share, jeez, again these aren't.

Speaker 8 (47:52):
Awesome when ordering ice, cream always ask for a single. Scoop,
however when the server is, finished say ACTUALLY i had
like a second. Scoop this forces them into matching the
size of the first, scoop which tends to be bigger.

Speaker 1 (48:06):
Since it was for a single. Scoop, OKAY i GUESS
i never thought about.

Speaker 8 (48:09):
That when you get scooped ice, cream they might have
different sizes for single and double.

Speaker 10 (48:14):
SCOOP i usually just ask to sample everything before making my, Decision.

Speaker 4 (48:20):
Kim but you still make a decision sample all of,
them be, Like i'm, GOOD i don't want any ice that's?

DO i know WHAT i, want you gonna be, peanut,
buttercup mit, chocolate something to that. EFFECT i very rarely
DO i stray away from you know, WHAT i, LIKE

Speaker 9 (50:31):
Sense don't want to spend a small fortune on a wedding.

Speaker 8 (50:34):

Speaker 8 (51:00):
THAT i think send a wedding invite to every billionaire
you can find an address. For there's a good chance
their assistants just send you a gift without ever confirming
who you, are or if their boss knows.

Speaker 4 (51:13):
You that genius hating that at.

Speaker 8 (51:17):
All, wow give fake money to homeless. People, oh give

Speaker 2 (51:28):
Area oh, god it's awful but.

Speaker 8 (51:32):

Speaker 4 (51:45):
Still get them off the street and they're not payinghandling
from anybody else at three, days.

Speaker 8 (51:50):
You can't get your roommate to clean. Up create a
fake tender profile match with them and tell them you're coming.

lot of them that is, true and they don't. Check
i've never in the time of hiring people WHEN i
used to do, That i've never been, like, well they
say they went To bob's college and then Called bob's
college to confirm they had a.

Speaker 4 (52:32):

Com we read an email on the air and then
give on what we would. Do but you guys are
part of that, too so please text us on what
you think these individuals should. Do this email says, Man
i've got to be. HONEST i did not think dating
after divorce would feel this. Weird i'm trying to put

(01:09:03):
myself out, there but every TIME i talk to younger,
WOMEN i feel Like i'm speaking a different. Language they're
all about TikTok, trends, situationships and texting in cryptic emojis
While i'm over here just trying to have a real.
CONVERSATION i don't know If i'm coming off to old,
school too serious or just out of, touch but something isn't.
Clicking any advice on how to bridge this gap or

(01:09:25):
SHOULD i just embrage embrace my status as a dating.
Dinosaur love Is blind is a show THAT i like
And lindsay, likes and they just started. Again and the
idea of dating just gives me the hebgb's so bad it.

Speaker 1 (01:09:42):
Makes me want to vomit to be.

Speaker 8 (01:09:43):
Asked and so THOUGH i can't relate to, THIS i
can only IMAGINE i would be able to relate to
this IF i were in that, situation because the idea
of trying to figure out navigating how people. Communicate you
think you're going to date someone you're own. AGE i
THINK i grew up my whole life THINKING i would

(01:10:03):
date someone my. Age it's just not, true especially when
you get out of, school right because people are different.
Ages nobody, goes, wait are you? Forty you're thirty, Nine
i'm out of. Here you're thirty, Five i'm. Out my
wife's seven years younger than. Me there's no way that
would have been a viable option at. Twenty, yeah today

(01:10:26):
somebody that's seven years.

Speaker 1 (01:10:27):
Younger, yeah, no that she would be. Thirteen and that's
weird to do.

Speaker 8 (01:10:31):
That and so my point is is that when you get,
older especially if you divorce later in, life it's highly
likely you're going to date someone much younger than.

Speaker 4 (01:10:41):
You maybe not necessarily.

Speaker 1 (01:10:42):
True all the, TIME i said it's highly.

Speaker 9 (01:10:44):
LIKELY i didn't say it's not going to happen or.
HAPPEN i said it's highly.

Speaker 1 (01:10:49):
Likely but either, WAY i, mean it's just talking to.
People that's all that there is to. It not everybody's
good at. That, man look at the three of.

Speaker 4 (01:10:58):
Us you can open your. Anybody everybody knows how to
open their mouth and make words come. Out that is
something that you are not. Taught it just. Happens so
it's just talking to people is all it. Is AND i,
think in my own personal, opinion it's you that's making it,
weird not you will royal you, right that makes it.
Weird i'm not giving. Advice i'm just, saying, like you,

(01:11:20):
KNOW i get what you're. Saying it's, like, oh, No
i'm dating younger people or. Whatever it's it's it's just, talking,
Man it's just carrying on a. Conversation.

Speaker 10 (01:11:29):
Yeah this guy said that he's a SHOULD i just
Say i'm a dating. Dinosaur he's, right, right, right he's
put it out there that he was dating younger. Girls
he doesn't have to date younger.

Speaker 9 (01:11:40):
GIRLS i don't, KNOW i don't think it has to
be younger.

Speaker 8 (01:11:44):
GIRLS i think people that are used to the dating
scene might be more well versed than. EVERYONE i don't
think he's dating twenty year, olds, RIGHT i think he's
dating people in the dating, world right.

Speaker 4 (01:11:56):
Right, right which if you think about it more and,
more at least from my, experience because out of the
three of, US i probably am the most experience this particular.

Speaker 1 (01:12:06):
Category, yes that that you would be used to be
used to be, Absolutely, yes, absolutely it's used to.

Speaker 4 (01:12:13):
Be but you would be surprised at how many people
in their forties that are starting over, again you, know
and and in their in their early, forties mid. FORTIES
i can't tell you how many people That i've met
that are in their fifties that are starting over, again you.

Speaker 1 (01:12:32):
Know and and is it Weird?

Speaker 4 (01:12:34):
Nockward, yeah, sure you, Know but it's it's not just
the it's not just the utes that are out there
dating trying to figure it.

Speaker 2 (01:12:42):
Out and are they all using the the? Emojis and
is that their only way of communication is so?

Speaker 1 (01:12:50):
Message so far as like just people in, general or
what do you mean by the ones that.

Speaker 2 (01:12:54):
Are starting over in their? Forties AND i.

Speaker 4 (01:12:57):
MEAN i don't know about using the emotion. Geez you,
know sure they might throw a little smiley face in
there or, something but it's not like all. Communication it's no,
words just, pictures you, know using hieroglyphics or. Whatever try
to figure out what you're. Saying SO i think they
just they're just doing them.

Speaker 8 (01:13:18):
Some texts coming. In reasonable, Answer you're gonna have to
educate yourself on current. Trends the world is constantly. Changing
you'll have to. Adapt nuclear. Answer quit hitting on high
scirlled girls you perf another. ONE i wouldn't worry about
it too, much. Buddy you don't want a woman to
fall for you who you are pretending to. Be just
be you man the way you find someone that likes
you for who you. Are another, One stop dating younger, women,

(01:13:39):
Dude date women in your age. Group there are plenty
of divorced women out there. Too when you say age,
group how far does that go on each?

Speaker 1 (01:13:50):
Side so far as like dating, wise no age, group
date women in your age? Group what are we? Talking
two years each? Side i'd say, five five on each.

Speaker 4 (01:14:02):
SIDE i think that's, fair you, know because once you
like start going ten on either, side that changes things
a little. Bit let's just say forty five year old, male,
right you, know five years on each, side not that,
bad forty fifty you're kind of right in the. Middle
but if you're dating ten years on either, side, well

(01:14:22):
that fifty five year, old it's going to think a
little bit, differently, Right and sure as hell a thirty
five year old is going to be thinking a little
bit differently.

Speaker 10 (01:14:33):
If you're not willing to adapt to the new style
of dating or whatever that looks, like.

Speaker 1 (01:14:37):
What is the new style of? Day, well what.

Speaker 10 (01:14:40):
He's referring, to like THE i don't get the emojis
and the texting all the. Time if you're old school
and just want to have a conversation with, someone then
you need to look for, that, Right, like so maybe that.

Speaker 1 (01:14:53):
How do you look for that in a world where
everybody does?

Speaker 8 (01:14:57):
Online and he's probably getting vice from people like, hey
do tender, Right and he's engaging in tender and he's, like,
yeah egg, plant you know WHAT i?

Speaker 4 (01:15:09):
Mean, like AND i get what you're, saying AND i
think of that, case you're just being a try Hard
you're trying way too hard to fit in into this
perceived dating, world you, know instead of like this texture
just said just be.

Speaker 2 (01:15:22):
You.

Speaker 1 (01:15:23):
Yeah oh. Good i'm glad you read that one because this,
one my next one says hookers.

Speaker 4 (01:15:26):
Are cheaper and less.

Speaker 8 (01:15:28):
Dramatic that's not, true, Right you ever had a gun
in your, face you ever had the pimp show? Up
what are you talking about less dramatic these?

Speaker 1 (01:15:41):
Days?

Speaker 8 (01:15:41):
AH i missed the good old days when hookers weren't, dramatic, Right.
YEAH i think that's a good, Point like maybe he's
just being a try Hard, yeah but, LIKEWISE i could
also we don't know how old he. Is but if
you you may feel an intense amount of pressure to
get back out. There you may feel an intense amount

(01:16:03):
of pressure to get it. Right and so when someone's, like, hey,
miam just try. TENDER i had success OR i met
you probably be, like, okay, yeah you give it a.

Speaker 4 (01:16:12):
Shot and if it, works sween and if it, doesn't
well you move on to the next, thing or you
do you, know whether it's meeting somebody at a, bar
or at a grocery store or church or whatever the case.

Speaker 9 (01:16:25):
Is i'm not going to give my advice, yet BUT
i think people don't have that attitude about.

Speaker 1 (01:16:30):
Anything, Okay you're probably.

Speaker 8 (01:16:32):
RIGHT i think that's why people stay at jobs and
are miserable longer than they. Should that's why people stay
in marriages longer than they, should our relationships longer than they.

Speaker 4 (01:16:42):
Should because they just get stuck and they feel, like,
oh this is it.

Speaker 1 (01:16:46):
This i'm not good enough you very? Well maybe right.

Speaker 9 (01:16:50):
Right i'm not saying that's not my.

Speaker 8 (01:16:51):
Advice i'm just saying THAT i think people don't have
the attitude of of go out there because our parents were,
like you can't fail at, this, right you can't, quit,
right be miserable LIKE i, am right, Right SO i
don't know if people have that attitude on. Things listener

(01:17:13):
email from a guy who is trying to. Date he
didn't think it would be this hard after divorce or
feel this. Weird he's trying to put himself out. There
but every TIME i talk to younger, WOMEN i feel
Like i'm speaking a different. Language they're all about TikTok,
trends situationships and texting and cryptic emojis While i'm over
here just trying to have a real. CONVERSATION i don't

(01:17:36):
know If i'm coming off to old, school too, serious
or just out of.

Speaker 1 (01:17:39):
Touch but something isn't.

Speaker 8 (01:17:40):
Clicking any advice on how to bridge this gap or
SHOULD i just embrace the status as a dating.

Speaker 9 (01:17:46):
Dinosaur there was something said in this that just clicked
with me that it's not.

Speaker 1 (01:17:54):
Working what do you mean it's not?

Speaker 8 (01:17:57):
Working if it was working like he was Finding, like
let's just say he's doing tender and again you correct
me If i'm, Wrong but you, someone you have a,
match you talk and then if it goes from, There
so he's maybe matching and then talking and then they
don't go from, anywhere and he feels like his success
rate isn't, happen.

Speaker 1 (01:18:14):
Like, yeah he's at dead. Ends, YEAH i get what you're. Saying,
yeah not he's going on. Dates and he's, like, ehh,
yeah you're probably.

Speaker 4 (01:18:21):
Right you're probably absolutely, right because that's exactly how the
digital Dating and that's WHAT i don't know if that's
what it's, called that's WHAT i want to call. It,
uh that's how digital dating. Works you swipe on, somebody you.
Match it's all based on pictures and a little brief
synopsis of, yourself, right and then you start chatting up
after that and some photo yeah, right, exactly nothing but

(01:18:43):
the chin up you and your, dog, right or a
picture of just your get maybe a. HORSE i don't, know, right,
right but you you're probably absolutely. Right he's he's text
talking to these people and probably getting that ends because
they're talking speaking in a linga that he ain't picking up.

(01:19:05):
On but, Furthermore, susan when it comes to that digital,
dating you can select an age range of what you. Want,
yeah you know WHAT i. Mean so you could put
an age. RANGE i, mean those things range anywhere from
eighteen to one.

Speaker 8 (01:19:22):
HUNDRED i gotta be, honest IF i found myself freshly, Divorced.

Speaker 9 (01:19:29):
I'm not gonna go to a certain spot on the
lake to.

Speaker 8 (01:19:32):
Fish, Okay i'm gonna put as many lines in AS
i can because you, Know i've never been to this restaurant,
before right right, Right i'm having four samples of ice.

Speaker 1 (01:19:45):
Cream you know What i'm?

Speaker 8 (01:19:47):
Saying where me, currently IF i like the idea of,
it terrifies. Me the idea of dating somebody in their
twenties terrifies. Me oh, YEAH i don't want. That you
know that character From Couple's retreat where he's dating that
girl and she goes to the club and he's, Like
he's like.

Speaker 9 (01:20:05):
Falling asleep before they ever. Leave, yeah That's i'm not.

Speaker 8 (01:20:08):
Interested that's so maybe in the beginning you'd probably fish
the whole.

Speaker 9 (01:20:13):
Bank but at some point you are going to tighten it.
UP i, think, yeah, yeah you get all over the.

Speaker 4 (01:20:18):
Place but then when you find, out all, right, well
just you, know this is the age group where the
fish are biting the. Most that's where you're going, to you,
know start sinking your. Line it's, like you, know women
in their, Fifties, okay, yeah let's have at.

Speaker 1 (01:20:32):
It they're.

Speaker 8 (01:20:33):
Biting, yeah this, TEXT i, MEAN i get, it but
he's sounding very get off my. Lawn, yeah that's it's
easy to be critical of that and, go, yeah he
could he also be a real.

Speaker 1 (01:20:42):
Thing he's dealing with a.

Speaker 2 (01:20:43):
Little But i'm a little confused too on what is
exactly a.

Speaker 1 (01:20:47):
SITUATIONSHIP i, MEAN i don't know if that's the question
we're dealing.

Speaker 10 (01:20:52):
With, no but he's he's, LIKE i don't know what that.
Is they're talking about. SITUATION i don't know exactly what
a situation she.

Speaker 2 (01:20:58):
Is.

Speaker 9 (01:20:58):
Either you can pause right. There you don't have to type,
anymore because that's the. Point if you're typing in you
don't need to know what it is, anyway.

Speaker 4 (01:21:06):
Romantic or sexual relationship that is not considered to be
formal or. Established we're, together we're. Banging it's friends with,
benefits but basically is what it. Is, yeah, okay yeah we're.

Speaker 1 (01:21:16):
Not we're not you, know, solid you know your, Mind i'm.
Yours we just you, know bang.

Speaker 8 (01:21:21):
It BUT i think that's what this guy's doing is
he's every time something comes, up he's you, know looking
it up under urban dictionary to try and find out what's.
Happening and that can be. Exhausting that feels, like, Hey
i'm trying to learn a new. Sport, yeah, MAN i
gotta be. HONEST i did not think dating enough to
divorce would feel this. Weird i'm trying to put myself out,
there but every TIME i talk to younger, WOMEN i

(01:21:41):
feel Like i'm speaking a different. Language they're all about
TikTok trends and situation. Chips i'm and texting cryptic emojis
While i'm over here just trying to have a real.
CONVERSATION i don't know If i'm coming off too old,
school too, serious or just out of, touch but something
isn't clicking any advice on how to bridge this gap
or SHOULD i just embrace my status as a Dating, Lindsey,
YEAH i think that.

Speaker 2 (01:22:02):
The answer to this is.

Speaker 10 (01:22:04):
Simple stop going for younger women and go for women
your own age or maybe even, older who are more
old school like you and aren't into the situationships and
want the conversations and not the texting, conversations but want
to pick up the phone and actually talk to, you

(01:22:26):
or meet out at a nice restaurant and have a dinner.
Date because it does it sounds like he is an
old school dater Who i'll call you up and take
you out to dinner and take you. Home you, know
he probably is the type of guy That i'll leave
and open a car door for. You so, yeah just
stop trying to date a younger woman, maybe AND i

(01:22:50):
think then maybe you'll have better.

Speaker 4 (01:22:52):
Luck Gimbi, Yeah texers his grandpa here still thinks sees
himself as a young. Buck time to look in the
mirror and adjust your target. Market and just Like lindsay,
said AND i agree, wholeheartedly, man you're shooting out of your. Range.
Bro you're, Oh i'm back on the. Scene it's time
to time to get back in. It so maybe he's

(01:23:12):
getting on these tender things and he's singing these, young
beautiful twenty, somethings you, know twenty five, whatever. Younger he's, like, oh,
YEAH i would like a piece of, that so that
would be, nice you, know and then maybe clicks on,
it maybe they match, whatever and then, realizes, ooh this
isn't working out for. ME i agree What lindsay. Said

(01:23:34):
date in your own. Range maybe shoot a little bit,
older you know WHAT i. Mean there's a song out.
There it's an old country. Song older women make beautiful. Lovers,
man come, on embrace. It you don't have to eat girl.
Cheese BUT i, mean come.

Speaker 1 (01:23:49):
ON i Think gimpie said. It at.

Speaker 8 (01:23:52):
First this is a tryhard like you think You maybe
everything's come easy to. You maybe you were quite the.
Guy maybe he was the high school. Quarterback and now
you're older and things. Aren't now they're a little more challenge,
right and suddenly the pool's much.

Speaker 1 (01:24:07):
WIDER i think you just got to go with.

Speaker 11 (01:24:11):
It.

Speaker 9 (01:24:11):
MAN i really like this, phrase AND i saw it
early and the bars really. Low just step over, it,
right be willing to mess it. Up who cares go
out there and fall flat on your? Face it doesn't
matter because your ego can handle. It you know how
you get rid of, ego you get, Confidence and the

(01:24:35):
only way to get confidence is by making mistakes and
learning the.

Speaker 4 (01:24:37):
Ropes bang and fat.

Speaker 1 (01:24:39):
Chicks you, might but if you go out there and
you want some arm candy because you just got newly,
single then all you got to do is find some
girl power and.

Speaker 9 (01:24:48):
Go, listen, DARLING i don't really know what's happening with
all that, mojis but would you like to go To?

Speaker 8 (01:24:56):
Cabo it'll play itself, out, MAN i, like if that's
what you, want if you're expecting a serious, relationship it
might be a little harder than you, think and you're
gonna have to just be patient with.

Speaker 2 (01:25:12):
You, YEAH i was just thinking of.

Speaker 10 (01:25:14):
Something he might not be dating in his own age
because he might be trying to date a younger woman
because he doesn't want a woman with.

Speaker 9 (01:25:20):
Baggage, well then he's definitely that's the everyone has bag.

Speaker 8 (01:25:27):
Exclusive everybody's got. Baggage i'm just, SAYING i don't know
what you're looking, for but the bar is so. Low
just step over, it man and go. People let the
bar get in the. Way, OH i can't do that
Because i've never ran a. Marathon OH i can't do
that Because i've never lived on my Own OH i
can't do that Because i've never owned my own.

Speaker 1 (01:25:49):
Business just.

Speaker 4 (01:25:50):
Try, yeah you're absolutely. Right starting over is. Scary just
step over the, bar, dude you get past. It you've
got to be willing to be. Wrong you're afraid you're
gonna look. Stupid who?

Speaker 8 (01:26:01):

Emmit hey, MAN i don't know what these emojis. Are
you're really. Cute i'd like to take you To. Cabo
do you want to? GO i promise they'll say.

Speaker 1 (01:26:15):
YES i would like to give your cat an. Egg,
now it may be.

Speaker 8 (01:26:21):
A whole other thing to go on a trip with
some broad on tender because some of the Stories gimpi
has told me about first. DATES i can't imagine getting
trapped in a hotel room with some of the people
he's told. Me The billiard's one is specifically coming to.

Speaker 4 (01:26:39):
Mind you don't want to be on a three day
weekend with that.

Speaker 8 (01:26:42):
One i'm just, saying so you, Can't but just, jump, man,
go be willing to look, stupid because by attaining you
don't know the emoji.

Speaker 9 (01:26:52):
Game you look, Stupid So cat's out of the.

Speaker 1 (01:26:56):
Bag you're. DUMB i don't want to look. Old cat's
out of the. Bag you're.

Speaker 8 (01:27:01):
Old funny thing about getting, older you. Don't everyone else
is getting. Older you're not until you look in a.
Mirror so you just got to get out there and, go,
brother see what's out. There there are plenty of girls
in this situation that have daddy.

Speaker 4 (01:27:16):
Issues so what you're saying is find yourself a.

Speaker 1 (01:27:21):
Stripper maybe.

Speaker 8 (01:27:25):
Maybe if you've never dated a stripper, again step over the,
bar go see what that's, like and then find out

year and they've told me it's time for me to move.
ON i get where they're coming, from BUT i wasn't
expecting this so, soon AND i don't have a solid
plan in place. Yet i'm feeling pretty overwhelmed trying to

(01:28:28):
figure out my next. Steps do you have any advice
on WHAT i should do or WHERE i might be
able to turn for? Help even just a little guidance
would mean a. Lot i've been staying with a friend
for nearly a, year and they've told me it's time
for me to move. ON i get where they're coming,
from BUT i wasn't expecting this so. SOON i wish
they would have included why they've been staying with a, friend,

(01:28:51):
right because that is staying with a friend implies you're
not paying rent or.

Speaker 1 (01:28:54):
Anything, Right, Right i'll let you crash on the, couch
however for a couple however.

Speaker 4 (01:28:58):
Long and that's another thing they don't, Specify, like was
there a said time when in the beginning of their you, know.

Speaker 2 (01:29:05):
Adventure, yeah we have to assume right that they're not paying.

Speaker 8 (01:29:08):
RENT i mean, ONCE i think when someone says staying
with you that there's no implication Of i'm A i'm a.

Speaker 9 (01:29:15):
Renter we share a place.

Speaker 1 (01:29:17):
Exactly, right it'd be roommates at that. Point, yeah, CORRECT
i think.

Speaker 10 (01:29:20):
So and though a year does go by rather, quickly
it also that's they shouldn't be surprised when they say
it came up so.

Speaker 2 (01:29:33):
Soon, right it's been a year, man, RIGHT.

Speaker 8 (01:29:38):
I mean it SAYS i get where they're coming, from
BUT i wasn't expecting this so. Soon so it's more
like you understand and you've been awakened to get yours. Together,
YEAH i want my house. BACK i say this phrase
To gimpie all the. Time it's amazing what you get used,
to for. Sure and if you've been someone taking care
of your, Rent i'm sure that is.

Speaker 4 (01:30:00):
Nice, right groceries are getting paid, for or maybe you
spend your money on fast food or. Whatnot, yeah life
is easy right now because you're living on somebody's couch
or spare room or.

Speaker 8 (01:30:10):
Whatever, right you're not having to try and figure out
when the water main, breaks mowing the. Up maybe you're
helping with those, things but you're not trying to figure it, out,
Right you're not trying to figure out when the dryer.
Breaks maybe you're pitching in or meeting the guy for the,
Appointment but you're not the one worried about. It you're
just enjoying, life, Right AND i, AGAIN i would like

(01:30:34):
to know what? Happened are you newly? Divorced did your
house couch on catch on? Fire did you get kicked
out of another?

Speaker 1 (01:30:40):
Spot?

Speaker 9 (01:30:42):
Right, like what's the reason you're staying? THERE i think
is really?

Speaker 2 (01:30:45):
Important did you just move to town looking for a?

Speaker 1 (01:30:49):
Place move to?

Speaker 8 (01:30:50):
Town you don't get to say that when you've been
there a. While, yeah, yeah for nearly a. Year when
you say, that you don't get to SAY i just
moved to. Town you didn't just move. TOWN i had
to start.

Speaker 4 (01:31:02):
OVER i lived with my brother for a couple of,
years BUT i also helped pay the rent and pay
the bills and stuff like, that so it was more
of a roommate sort of. Thing it started, Off, yeah
you come, Here i've got an extra, room rent a,
Room come on. In i'll put you up for a.
While da da da da da da. Da but at
least it for, me it was, LIKE i, Know i'm
getting out of there sometime WHEN i have no, idea

(01:31:25):

Speaker 8 (01:31:26):
Goal, well and you probably were, Like i'm paying, you you,
Know i'm putting my foot, now no handouts for me
type of, Thing and some people, Go, nope, Yeah i'm
helping you.

Speaker 4 (01:31:37):
Right like if it was my, parents Because i've done that.
Before i've had to Start god, Damn i've had to
start over a lot in. Life, regardless that's, okay if you,
know if it was my. Folks my, folks you, know
never asked me for any, money never asked me to
help pay for, rent or pay for, utilities or pay
for groceries or anything like. That so of Course i'm, like, yeah,

(01:31:58):
Sure but at the same, TIME i was, LIKE i
gotta get the hell out. Here living with parents as
an adult.

Speaker 8 (01:32:03):
Sucks somebody texted and, said you didn't expect it so.
Soon it's been almost a.

Speaker 1 (01:32:07):
Year jc wasn't.

Speaker 9 (01:32:09):
Expected there's another one that wasn't expected so.

Speaker 8 (01:32:12):
Soon it's been a, year, man plenty of time for
you to put together a deposit or find your own.
PLACE i, Mean i'm not in the apartment search world
or rental. World but, again why are you in this?
Situation did you have a? Job did it take a
while to find a?

Speaker 1 (01:32:30):
Job how?

Speaker 8 (01:32:31):
Long did sometimes it takes a while to find a
place to put a deposit. TOGETHER i don't know how
much an apartment. Is let's say an apartment's one thousand.

Speaker 4 (01:32:39):
Dollars seem's about.

Speaker 1 (01:32:41):
Right it deposits what one thousand, dollars and you need
first and sometimes first and.

Speaker 9 (01:32:46):

Speaker 4 (01:36:28):
Gimbi, ah it's time to just go grow up and
get out and be on your. OWN i think, anyway
you've been there for a, year and who doesn't want
their own? Place sharing a place with people sucks most
of the. Time most of the, time it. Does roommates.
SUCK i have been fortunate to have a few good

(01:36:49):
ones in my, life but for the most, part they suck.
Ass so why don't you get your own place and
you have your own freedom and you can walk around
naked if you. Want it's really quite. Freeing the dogs
look at you a little, funny but it's. Okay you
get used to especial if you have, treats, right those
are not treat how there's plenty of resources out. There

(01:37:09):
you could go TO, dhs you, know stuff like, that
and they have plenty of resources for you to find affordable.
Housing you, know if if that's the, case or if
it's just the, uh the starting over and living on
my own is. Scary it kind of goes back to
the previous email that we. Had starting over sucks and

(01:37:29):
it's very. Scary but you know, what you get used to.
It you just said it, yourself you'd be surprised of
what you get used. To so as scary as it
may be to get out there on your, own to
live life on your, own it's really not that. Bad
there's plenty of resources for you to check into and
at least start.

Speaker 8 (01:37:46):

bars are a low. Man just step over, it get
out there and just make the. Mistake just, go just
Be that.

Speaker 1 (01:38:10):
First step is so, hard AND i get, it but just.

back for a. While just, go just step over the
bar and go make a, call just that first, Call

(01:38:31):
do you have any places? AVAILABLE i need to get?
Hired and this, too tell your friend you don't know
where to?

Speaker 4 (01:38:39):
Start there you. Go simple communication goes a long, ways.

Speaker 9 (01:38:44):
Same way as before with the old. Man, Right, hey,
listen you want to go to.

Speaker 1 (01:38:47):
Cabbo just be.

Speaker 9 (01:38:48):
Honest what are you Afraid you're gonna look stupid to
your friend that you don't have yours? Together he, knows but,
yeah you're definitely being a.

Speaker 8 (01:38:58):
Freeloader and accountability like gimpis that when you start paying
it on your, own you suddenly, go why AM i
paying her dollars to sleep on the? Futon, right creats
the sense of responsibility that if you don't want to
sleep on the futon, anymore then stop paying one hundred
dollars or pay more and go get a bed or

(01:39:18):
search the one. Ads you can always email a show
at kmod dot.

Speaker 1 (01:39:23):
Com we'll be.

Speaker 11 (01:39:23):
Back The Big Med Morning show returns Next Tulsa's Morning
show ninety seven FIVE, Kmod.

Speaker 9 (01:39:48):
Good, Morning it's The Big Mad Morning show nine one
eight four SIX O.

Speaker 8 (01:39:51):
Kmod you could also text bmms and then what you
want to say to eight two nine four.

Speaker 1 (01:39:57):
Five so this pretty.

Speaker 8 (01:40:00):
Cool if you've been watching some spring training, games they've
been using THIS abs The Major League baseball has and
it's The Automatic Automated Ball Strike system and it's pretty
cool AND i think it's going to changing the strike
zone judgment call has been part of baseball for so,
long and that's kind of the.

Speaker 9 (01:40:18):
Discrepancy there's some really Good twitter.

Speaker 8 (01:40:19):
Accounts out there that show umpire's, accuracy and they're all
pretty much in the ninety five percentile or, higher WHICH
i think is pretty, good being as it's a human air, thing, Right,
like ninety five percent is pretty, good and it tracks
pitches in each batter's defined zone determined by the player's.
Height the UMP's ball strike call is followed as usual

(01:40:41):
until a player taps their head to signal a. Challenge
each team gets two challenges per, game but they don't
lose the.

Speaker 9 (01:40:49):
Challenge if it's, successful win a, challenge.

Speaker 1 (01:40:52):
You get it, back.

Speaker 8 (01:40:54):
And so far ups now have to rewatch their missed
calls in front of, everyone and fans love. It so
you're seeing them be accountable right there in front of.
Everyone and it is a major. Change but there's a
few dozen successful challenges that have happened just in the
first week of spring. Training this is a test run

(01:41:15):
in The cactus And grapefruit, leagues BUT i think we're.

Speaker 1 (01:41:18):
Going to see this in the. Majors it's going to
become a.

Speaker 8 (01:41:20):
Thing and people have talked about how they can do
this in, football for knowing first downs and, stuff and
the problem with that is in the baseball is so,
small the puck is so.

Speaker 9 (01:41:33):
Small where do you put the sensor in a?

Speaker 1 (01:41:36):
Football?

Speaker 8 (01:41:37):
Right so if you put it in the, middle let's, say,
well what if the ball crosses at the point, Right
and if you do the, end what if the ball
is the other, way like it's flipped. Over so they
haven't figured that out with. FOOTBALL i think they will.
Somehow they'll figure out like a radius thing or.

Speaker 9 (01:41:54):
SOMETHING i don't, know the multiple sensors maybe even and
then it changes the weight of the ball, right, Right
like there's all THESE x factors with football that don't
exist with baseball and.

Speaker 8 (01:42:06):
Baseball and. Hockey, Right but this NEW abs thing is.
Cool we'll have to see if they'll put it in
The because they did the clock in the minors, first
it was with the drillers before they moved it up
to the. Majors so maybe we'll see this abs AND
i think we'll talk TO malega this, Year i'm. Sure
but The driller they did it down In Oklahoma, city
If i'm not. Mistaken so we'll see how this goes

(01:42:28):
when they move it up the. System but if you
watch a spring training game of The Cactus league or
The Great Fruit, league you'll see this in. Action it
looks it looks pretty. Cool let's see What lindsay has
For balls to The wall.

OKAY a normal starting DOX a normal starting dose of
xanax zero point two five.

Speaker 1 (01:54:32):
Milligrams, oh but it may be up to one depending
on what it's being used.

Speaker 8 (01:54:37):
For it is unusual people maybe increased two doses as
high as ten per.

Speaker 10 (01:54:42):
Day i'm still going With gimpie because you're gonna need
a bed after eating an entire DeMarco and garlic and three.

Speaker 1 (01:54:52):
Beers what are you going, With? Kimpy, uh that's gonna be.

Speaker 4 (01:54:59):
ME i can eat a quad bar as annex would be.
Fine come, on you are gonna be slowed down with
all that bread and your heavy ass craft beers inside
you as. Well for, Sure lendsy is going to be,
uh she's she's going to be throwing, things for.

Speaker 2 (01:55:17):

Stars it'll be chucking, stars is what it.

Speaker 4 (01:55:27):

to say even though my my Mall Ninja katana is
the worst quality sword you'll ever, BUY i still have
a better. Shot.

Speaker 9 (01:56:40):
Garlic, yeah he just.

Speaker 8 (01:56:42):
Did i'm gonna go with me only because IF i
ate a Whole DeMarco and garlic knots and three, Beers i'm.
Vomiting Because ghimpi is easily the least affective, one even
though two point five is a lot from based off
what we've, read, right if he takes it and then we,
start because it takes like it could take almost an

(01:57:04):
hour for that to kick.

Speaker 1 (01:57:04):
In, yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:57:08):
Box of like if she's starting after she finishes the
box of. Wine SO i Think gimpy's the best candidate

It Then i'm Married kevin and he makes it all the,
time AND i tried his and it was. Delicious that's
the only TIME i will eat biscuits and. GRAVY i
will never order it from a, restaurant SO i can

Speaker 4 (01:58:59):
Uh i'm definitely brrying bacon and eggs because that is
my go to for A Saturday sunday breakfast at my.
House you, KNOW i usually keep a stock of eggs
and a stock of bacon for that, reason you, Know,
so SO i have locked in with that one as it. Is, Anyway,
now this is a tough one BECAUSE i do like
biscuits and gravy AND i do like Some french. Toast

(01:59:22):
but you, know it's Like i've got to kill one
And i've got to make sweet sweet love to another.
One biscuits and gravy can get really heavy, sometimes AND
i think that's the only thing that's going to cause
me to want to kill off the biscuits and gravy
is because it is so heavy and it sticks to
you and it stays with you all day. Long So

(01:59:46):
i'm gonna go ahead and kill off the biscuits and
gravy and And i'll have dirty fun with some fresh.
TOES i got a problem with.

Speaker 8 (01:59:52):

crispy bacon, guy but even crispy bacon's good. Bacon So

(02:00:14):
i'm going bacon and. Eggs marrying biscuits and gravy are.
Delicious you can do it so many different, ways extra,
spicy not, spicy different type of.

Speaker 9 (02:00:24):
Sausage i've seen it with ground beef and with.

YEAH i love biscuits and. Gravy, right there's the gravy,
issue and then there's. Biscuits oh, okay and Then french.
Toast french toast is so, good getting so many different
ways to do, it so. Yummy But i'm going to
kill biscuits and gravy and Bang french. Toast french toast

(02:00:54):
always feels. Fancy, yeah powdered sugar on tap and butter so.

Speaker 1 (02:00:59):
It becomes like a Creamy oh, yeah, man that was
a tough. One that was a tough.

Speaker 8 (02:01:08):
One if you had to escape one supernatural, curse which
would it be being stalked by The ring, girl living
through final destination scenarios or haunted by The Grudge?

Speaker 2 (02:01:21):
Girl which one was The Grudge?

Speaker 1 (02:01:24):
Girl it was the girl with the long. Hair wasn't
that the girl with the long hair crawling and.

Speaker 4 (02:01:30):
You watch the video or? Whatever, OKAY i believe that's the.

Speaker 2 (02:01:34):
One so The ring was also a video THOUGH i thought.

Speaker 10 (02:01:39):

Speaker 2 (02:01:44):
That's awful stuff.

Speaker 8 (02:01:46):
Too ring Was anybody who watched the tape is cursed
and has a week to copy the.

Speaker 4 (02:01:51):
Tape gotcha?

Speaker 1 (02:01:52):
Right m. Hm Grudge.

Speaker 4 (02:01:58):
Uh is.

Speaker 8 (02:02:01):
Born when someone dies in extreme rage or sorrow and
lingers where the person, Dies those who encounter it will,
die and the curse is, reborn repeatedly passing from victim
to victim in an endless growing chain of.

Speaker 10 (02:02:13):
Horror, Okay i'm gonna go with the final destination scenarios
because and there's a new one coming. OUT i saw
the preview of it and it looks. AWFUL i MEAN
i was getting sick to my stomach just watching the
preview of. It guy gets his nose ring attached to
a ceiling Fel oh, yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:02:32):
Yeah it looks really burns, alive like super.

Those give?

Speaker 4 (02:02:45):
Me, YEAH i kind of, Would lindsay. ALLOWS i think
it would be more fun to escape The Final destination
scenarios as opposed to dealing with these creepy dead black haired.

of the, sentence, right grudge getting you into the.

Speaker 1 (02:03:18):
Sentence.

Speaker 8 (02:03:18):
Right the only one that feels like there's even a
sliver of chance of evading it is the ring, One
and the only way to evade it is to get someone.

Speaker 1 (02:03:26):
Else to watch or watch it. Backwards, Okay SO.

Speaker 8 (02:03:31):
I, AGAIN i don't know if those, work but the
other two there is no.

Speaker 4 (02:03:34):
Solution, well The Final destination that was the whole point
of it is like the one guy escaped death right
And death kept following, him chasing after, him AND i
don't think it ever got two hares.

Speaker 1 (02:03:46):
Been sequels where they're still trying to get. It. Yeah,
no that's What i'm.

Speaker 8 (02:03:49):
Saying who wants to constantly be looking over their shoulder
every and of clear evidence that there isn't? Out The
ring is the only one right with the. Video So
i'm not saying to. Work i'm not saying this is.
Genius i'm, saying of the ones that have an opportunity to,
evade it feels like The ring is the only. One,

THAT i don't like that they, use or maybe it's
they don't have sausage in their gravy THAT i don't.

Speaker 4 (02:10:04):
Of, here.

Speaker 2 (02:10:05):

MORE i think it's the eel.

Speaker 9 (02:10:22):
SAUCE i never heard, That, okay, yeah, Yeah well the

Speaker 1 (02:10:27):
Beans. Beans what kind of? Beans are we talking? About magical?

Speaker 10 (02:10:32):
Fruit the more you, eat the more you, toot the
more you, toute the better you. Feel so eat some
beans at every.

Speaker 2 (02:10:37):
Meal that's.

Speaker 1 (02:10:39):
Terrible.

Speaker 8 (02:10:42):
Uh this says that in early Modern england between the
sixteenth and eighteenth, centuries there were four main ways that
a food could come to be considered an. Afrodisiac there
were foods that felt hot or warmed the body of
foods that were thought to be especially, nourishing and foods
that fell under the rine of, signatures which is to
say they looked like a certain body. Part the last

(02:11:05):
category was deeply un sexy sounding windy.

Speaker 1 (02:11:08):
Meats windy, meats these were foods that caused. Flatulence.

Speaker 8 (02:11:12):
Beans it was thought that the same air that was
expelled when people passed wind also inflated a men and
penetration for penetration in the. Bedroom so beans and peas
were described to men having trouble in this.

Speaker 9 (02:11:27):
Department this is this is.

Speaker 8 (02:11:30):
Exactly what the Fuck i'm talking about when it comes
to people are making ship.

Speaker 1 (02:11:35):
Up, yeah having trouble in the.

Speaker 9 (02:11:38):
Bedrooms it's not Like i'm not shaming doctors and. Science
But i'm shaming is when people just, say, shit well
they were just learning back, then, right they're still practicing
like they tested.

Speaker 1 (02:11:53):
OUT i get hold.

Speaker 9 (02:11:56):
Up if passing gas was what made me, Hard i'd
be knocking lamps over all the.

Speaker 1 (02:12:05):
Time, yeah just give me some. Cabbage that's the wildest
Shit i've ever.

Speaker 4 (02:12:12):
Heard that's funny that.

Speaker 1 (02:12:17):
Poop, gas.

Speaker 9 (02:12:20):
Frog, belches barking, spiders barking spiders is what makes you dick.

Speaker 1 (02:12:26):
Hard i'm sure there's somebody out, there, Somebody i'm.

Speaker 4 (02:12:29):
SURE i, mean people get turned on by cake.

Speaker 8 (02:12:31):
Farts you, know mustard is on here as at one
time considered an. APHRODISIAC i thought it was from the
heat from the, mustard and sensation comes from the plant's
natural defense. Mechanism it releases these compounds that irritate poison
pests when they try to eat. It the bite that
people feel when they eat mustard happens when these compounds

(02:12:52):
come into contact with proteins in your. Mouth people thought In,
france uh that they that this was what was, happening
and some of them believed it made you. Horny the
holy men refined and perfected the production of, mustard and
other monks believed it was an. Aphrodisiac not wishing to

(02:13:15):
be tempted to stray from their chest, epath many of
the monks banned themselves from, eating making the. Convent thank
god they, did because they make gorereat. Beer monks make
delicious beer.

Speaker 4 (02:13:29):
Potatoes oh, god there's nothing sexy about a potato at.

Speaker 1 (02:13:35):
All What's i'm trying to?

Speaker 9 (02:13:38):
Cover the counter argument.

Speaker 4 (02:13:41):
The potato is the least sexiest.

Speaker 1 (02:13:44):
Vegetable phil blob about. Theirself they're, Like i'm a potato.
Potato but let's.

Speaker 8 (02:13:56):
See In shakespeare's Play The Merry wives Of. Windsor in the,
Play shakespeare's regular comic Character John falstaff is an unlikely
want to be, lithario although his intentions and actions are
less than. Godly when he meets the wives in the,
forest he prays for something that at first seems like
a very strange, request which was, quote let the sky

(02:14:18):
rain potatoes ow. Wow despite the character's love of food and,
drink he does not mean this. Literally what he is
actually asking for is it is success and more, importantly
prowess with the. Ladies the phrase would have made perfect
sense To shakespeare and his contemporaries because potatoes were widely
believed to have aphrodisiac qualities in the, eighteenth, sixteenth and seventeenth,

(02:14:39):
centuries And, falstaff the character would likely have been referring
to sweet, potatoes which had been around a lot longer
than the white ones then arrived In america. Later, okay
so the idea being like if you had, potatoes you
had money and like, desirable.

Speaker 4 (02:14:52):
Like AND i could get where like the sweet potatoes might,
be you, know because the sweetness the sugar might arouse
some things just regular old playing fucking russet are.

Speaker 8 (02:15:03):
Disgusting only with some brown, sugar maybe nip, syrp little
walnuts on, top maybe.

Speaker 9 (02:15:08):
Smarts so now.

Speaker 1 (02:15:11):
We're just talking about yams at this.

Speaker 8 (02:15:12):
Point mother fuckers don't know di between jams and sweet.
Potatoes they are two different. Vegetables oh absolutely.

Speaker 4 (02:15:19):
Yeah my, brother as a matter of, fact when he was,
young my mom and my mom telling me this that
like he wouldn't eat sweet. Potatoes now they're, Gross and
she says they're not sweet, potatoes they're, yams and he
fucking ate them up like it was. Nothing.

Speaker 8 (02:15:30):
Dude there's a there's a kid's book called uh Moon,

In korean literature And japanese. Haiku beliefs about its afrodisiac
effects have been found throughout history In, Asia, africa And.
Europe in sixteenth Century, france it was known as palm
de mar or love, apple but belief in its aphrodisiac
effects was probably not based on its appearance, alone and
it was thought that it was thought to have Egg

(02:18:46):
plants belong to the same family as deadly night, shade
which is a highly toxic and.

Speaker 1 (02:18:51):
Can have strong.

Speaker 8 (02:18:52):
Effects the same goes for, mandrakes which also belong to
the same. Family Egg plants have been grown for several
thousand years and widely eaten Across. Asia mini cultures thought

Gross that's because they don't know how to make. It
but there are eggplant dishes that are really good. There
parsnips is considered to be an Afrid at one, TIME
i should say was considered to be an, aphrodisiac and ancient,

(02:20:46):
times the sweet and vegetable was enjoyed By romes, Patricians i'm, sorry.
Patriarchs one who was said to be particularly fond of
the emperor Was. Tiberius the story goes that The, emperor
having acquired a taste for them In, germany had parsnips
imported To rome and accepted them as part as the
tribute from The germanic tribes that paid. Him, however the

(02:21:07):
taste of parsnips might have been the only thing That
romans enjoyed about, Them like, Carrots the shape might have
been reminded some people of something, else and over time
these two to be considered. Aphrodisiacs it was only not
only The romans who thought this Way england in seventeenth.

Speaker 1 (02:21:21):
Century they were.

Speaker 8 (02:21:22):
In many of the foods believed to help in the
bedroom that could help marry. Couples as a matter of,
fact it was even prescribed to married.

Speaker 2 (02:21:30):
COUPLES i don't Think i've ever made a recipe that
called for.

Speaker 1 (02:21:33):
Parsnips i've never had a parsi, ever not THAT i know.

Speaker 11 (02:21:37):
Of.

Speaker 1 (02:21:38):
Anyway, Yeah i've had.

Speaker 8 (02:21:39):
Parsonip it's pretty. Good we buy a bag of root
vegetables From costco frozen and it's really. Good they're like
roasted root, vegetables so it's carrots and potatoes and onions and. Parts,
yeah parsonip puree is pretty.

Speaker 9 (02:21:54):
Good think of a. Carrot it's like a mixedtween of
carrot and.

Speaker 8 (02:21:57):
Potato so it's got like kind of a EARTHY youmammi
taste to, it but it's got the texture of like a.

Speaker 1 (02:22:02):
Potato, Okay, YEAH i think they're pretty.

Speaker 4 (02:22:05):
Good.

Speaker 9 (02:22:06):
Uh almonds were considered an. Aphrodisiac.

Speaker 8 (02:22:10):
Okay jordan almonds specifically known as droggies Or italian. Confetti
these are candy coated almonds which are often associated with.
Weddings the origin of the Name jordan is, disputed with
some of it coming from The french for, garden and
others claiming it refers To River jordan And. Palestine almonds
are thought to be an afridijiak in Many Middle eastern.

(02:22:32):
Countries this is part of the reason Why jordan almonds
are given to gifts as newlyweds in certain, cultures but
they were presented as a having a symbolic meeting for
the happy couple. Too they're often given in bags of
five because five is an individual indivisible. Number each almond
represents one of the guest's wishes for the, newlyweds, health, children,

(02:22:52):
wealth long, life and. Happiness so you're telling, me When
i've gone to weddings and they've had these colored, almonds
the whole point of it is to get people horned?

Speaker 4 (02:22:59):
Up or that was the?

Speaker 8 (02:23:00):
Belief, yeah, yeah fucking, wild that's, wild, Right, yeah a
number of Times i've been at weddings and eating, Those.

Speaker 1 (02:23:11):
Did you get all horned up? Afterwards, no.

Speaker 2 (02:23:14):
That was the booze that got them all horned.

Speaker 8 (02:23:16):
Up coconuts are on this list as considered at one.
Time evidence suggests there were at one surprising time in
Medievalt germany that people were. Turned they were imported From
india and especially popular In. England they were used in,
medicine but mostly wanted for their, shells which were used

(02:23:36):
to make cups and. Goblets these were popular from thirteenth century.
Onward being exotic, items it's no surprise they were originally
thought to have magical properties as well as provoking, desires
and they were thought to be able to detect.

Speaker 4 (02:23:49):
Poison they forgot to mention bras on that list, too
coups and, goblets but they never mentioned.

Speaker 1 (02:23:56):
Bras, right lettuce is on?

Speaker 4 (02:23:59):
Here lettuce are we talking about? Here we talked, remain
some green, leaf red? Leaf where we talking? Iceberg the
worst fucking lettuce that there is has zero nutritional.

Speaker 1 (02:24:09):
VALUE i know at all what the. Web it's called a.

Speaker 4 (02:24:12):
Filler that's you eat it to give your ship ass
fucking vegetable as what it.

Speaker 1 (02:24:16):
Is oh, no, dude you ever had a grilled romain lettuce?

Speaker 4 (02:24:19):
Salad Oh i'm down for the. Romain i'll talk about. Iceberg,
ah iceberg, lettuce it's that's good.

Speaker 1 (02:24:25):
For you, know, uh lettuce?

Speaker 9 (02:24:27):
Cups it make that thing at chains or.

Speaker 10 (02:24:30):
Whatever, yeah, yeah, sure or a wedge salad yet half
a head of.

Speaker 1 (02:24:36):
Lettuce, yes culinary advances we. Made they were like it
is a wedge and you're, like oh, fuck somebody did
some culinary. Work, no they're, lazy RIGHT i should.

Speaker 2 (02:24:48):
Have, nah but not a cold. Plate so.

Speaker 1 (02:24:51):
Good all lettuce on a cold plate is. Good. Yeah
by the, way fucking dressing makes lettuce. Good, right you
know what's not? Good warm? Lettuce that's why they put
it on a COLD i was watching this video of
this lady and she's, like this is my.

Speaker 8 (02:25:05):
Protein heck for, listen one hundred whatever fucking, number and
she pulls out this sandwich From Jimmy john's and it's
wrapped in fucking.

Speaker 9 (02:25:13):
Lettuce she was, Like i'm, like fucking.

Speaker 4 (02:25:18):
LIAR i saw that same, thing AND i was, Like,
mark there's a part of me THAT i wants to
try the young. Witch, okay, yeah.

Speaker 9 (02:25:24):
BUT i would saw she would dip it. IN i was, like, shit,
yeah you're dipping in lettuce. Salad, yeah if you've ever
had a cob salad or, whatever.

Speaker 1 (02:25:31):
You're just dipping. It. Yes, yeah it looks messy as ship,
though for. Sure fuck any of those lettuce things love
messy as. Ship. Yeah, anyway, so, Uh.

Speaker 8 (02:25:40):
Egyptians this is connected To, egyptians as they have found
lettuce uh in tombs that are more than four thousand years.

Speaker 1 (02:25:47):
Old. EW i would not eat.

Speaker 8 (02:25:48):
That it's even mentioned in myths about their. Gods it
was said to be the food Of, men The egyptian
god of fertility and. Paintings men was a male who's
usually depicted as ready for, action and Then egyptians believed
it was the lettuce.

Speaker 1 (02:26:01):
That helped him stay that. WAY i e hard like
any of the other alleged.

Speaker 8 (02:26:09):
Afrodisiacs it was because the way the food, looked it
grows straight and tall and strong and, rigid ready to be.
Eating when a part is broken off from romaine, lettuce
a white milky liquid oozes.

Speaker 1 (02:26:22):
Out, hell, gross your lettuce just came all over.

Speaker 9 (02:26:29):
Me and the last one on here is beer used
to be considered an. AFRODISIA i, MEAN i get that
it's more of the. Intoxication, well it's letting your guard
down in your ability inability to make, decisions more than
it is to turn you.

Speaker 1 (02:26:49):
On i've seen a lot of. Whiskey dick is the, thing,
Right get all hopped up on some meat and go
fucking goat or. Something.

Speaker 8 (02:26:56):
Yeah, Yeah so they're saying the aphroditic effect might have
been toned down over the. Years prior to the eighteenth,
century beer In europe was flavored us a combination of
herbs called groot instead of. Hops the ingredients in grout varied.

Speaker 9 (02:27:12):
Depending on where it was, made but sometimes contained stimulant,
herbs which led beer.

Speaker 1 (02:27:17):
Being processed and considered an.

Speaker 8 (02:27:18):
Aphrodisiac the hops that the groot was created eventually was
almost universally replaced with, hops.

Speaker 1 (02:27:27):
And those have the opposite.

Speaker 4 (02:27:28):
Effect people are just getting drunk and horned up and
fucking everything that, walks and they're, like, well we got
to dial this back a little.

Speaker 1 (02:27:33):
Bit well what do we? Do will we take out the?
GROOT i am groot and hops? Instead? Yeah sure.

Speaker 9 (02:27:40):
Whatever i'm always curious when you have, beer like and
if you've ever seen them make beer and they get
hops and full pallets of hops or hop, pellets and they, went,
yeah let's fucking make something out of. This oh, Shit
SO i was, like fucking the, forest let's make fucking
beer out of.

Speaker 1 (02:27:58):
This soak it for a little, while see what it
happens to drink the water.

Speaker 8 (02:28:01):
Afterwards my theory on those type of beers is that
they were because those are old school, beers, right is
that they were created to for like, sipping like being
around each, other right to delay, it not for crushable,
reasons right, right?

Speaker 1 (02:28:17):
Right it was a social.

Speaker 4 (02:28:19):
Thing you sit around and, sip, yes like you would
sip your wine or sip a whiskey or something of that. Effect,
ye not pound them and you know do cake stands and.

Speaker 8 (02:28:27):
Shit, right it was too prolong the time you were
spending with friends and being, social very a lot Of european.

Speaker 9 (02:28:33):
Meals last, hours, yeah and go till late at, night
SO i could see that they make it so you
sip it and don't drink it as. Fast, again this
is my own made up. THERE i have nothing to
back this.

Speaker 1 (02:28:43):
Up i've heard a lot.

Speaker 4 (02:28:44):
About, that like especially At italian culture shit like, that
where oh, yeah they they the their meals are an
event and it's drawing out and dinners like fucking six hours.
Long i'm, LIKE i don't know IF i could do. That,
man if the food's, good you. Go i'm, sure but,
yeah that's probably where. It's if the liquor's, flowing maybe.
So but after a, While i'm, Like i'm. Done i've

(02:29:04):
had those long dinners with like it and it's, like, fuck,
MAN i Am CAN i get up from this?

Speaker 1 (02:29:09):
TABLE i, MEAN i don't want to be rude or,
nothing But i'm done.

Speaker 9 (02:29:12):
Talking we got to some dinners and you're sitting there
and you realize you've been sitting there for hour and
a half and you're, LIKE i gotta stand. Up, Yeah
i've been sitting for too. Long, yeah goddamn are they?

Speaker 8 (02:29:23):
Good THOUGH i could eat a good, Meal i'll never
forget when we went To europe and we went to
eat at seven and we thought we were going, late
and the fucking restaurant was empty and they had to
find a way to they're having their meeting and the
way to Kim.

Speaker 1 (02:29:35):
On he's, like we love You, americans right.

Speaker 4 (02:29:37):
Right usually it starts to like nine at, night, right, yeah.

Speaker 9 (02:29:40):
He was, like you, guys come, in you, eat get
the fuck out right four o'clock they're serving. Lunch he's,
like the.

Speaker 1 (02:29:46):
Locals come in and they started showing up at eight
or nine and don't leave till midnight or. One oh,
god shoot, Me BUT i sure you used to it
if that's where you.

Speaker 8 (02:29:54):
LIVE i GUESS i guess where we Were, Capri, italy
sitting there looking out into the. Ocean it Probably, YEAH
i probably would do that too IF i lived there
AND i Sold gelatto all?

Speaker 2 (02:30:05):
Day do they serve a bottle of wine with every
meal there?

Speaker 9 (02:30:08):
Too like like? Automatic?

Speaker 1 (02:30:09):
Yeah, no, no, no you have to order You it's
just like anywhere you got to, order they might have
a table. Winee.

Speaker 4 (02:30:17):
Yeah well so you're thinking of like most, places like
you'd be complimentary water or whatever you, Like here's a
bottle of you, know red or.

Speaker 9 (02:30:23):
WHATEVER i, mean they may have used, to but they try.
TO i would IMAGINE i don't like that. HAPPENING i
think it's more about. Kids, yeah and they probably definitely
don't do it in a touristy, area, right there might be,
some you, know, locals places that tourists don't go.

Speaker 1 (02:30:38):
TO i would. IMAGINE i don't, know BUT i remember always,
well now there's plenty of.

Speaker 10 (02:30:44):
WINE i just remember a girlfriend of mine when she
dated a guy that played basketball In. Italy they, went
she went to visit them, there and she, said every
meal we had there was wine served at our with our.

Speaker 1 (02:30:56):
Meal, sure, yes didn't have to that right That, no
that on hundred percent is a, thing but it ain't.

Speaker 4 (02:31:01):
Free yeah, right they just know.

Speaker 8 (02:31:04):
You they just drinking is not so taboo over, there
so like it is. Automatically just assume you're going to drink.
Wine by the, way you like wine, here it's a
whole fuck another. World you kind of like, wine, right
you don't love, it but, yeah don't THEY i don't think, that.

(02:31:25):
Peach but you drink wine over, there it's like, WATER
i mean it. Is it's it's like like you could
taste the, juice.

Speaker 1 (02:31:35):
But not heavy like a. Juice it's so.

Speaker 8 (02:31:38):

wasn't open, yet but they have carts like in the, parks,
like but they sell beer and wine and so you
