You wonder what some of the leading twentieth century Democrats
might be thinking today. How in less than one hundred years,
the Great Party of the American worker is now run
by socialists. They warned us this would happen. The great
Al Smith, self made New Yorker, who worked seven years

his own president's new deal, said it would take the
country down a dangerous road under the banner of Marx,
Lenin and Stalin socialism, if not communism. He reminded all
those of the day that socialism doesn't require the government

deed to what we own doesn't mean much if the
government holds all the power. Our natural, unalienable rights were,
in the eyes of Smith then and many now, considered
to be the dispensation of the state, and with it
goes the freedoms so many have died to preserve. Well,

and AOC, you haven't been watching. Their movement is growing.
Now on what are they campaigning? Get this, They're not
hiding it. Not regulate but abolish immigrations and customs enforcement,
effectively ending border security and all deportations. Create a thirty

two hour workweek with no loss in pay, a universal
basic income, which is a check from the government just because,
a federal jobs guarantee, free childcare, free pre K, free college,
medicare for all unfedered government funded abortion. Federal rent control
of all leased property with a cap of no more

than a five percent increase every year. A freeze on
all residential utility bills, full funding of the Green New Deal,
end at will employment for all workers, legalize strikes by
federal employees, create a national wealth tax, add justices to
the Supreme Court, give statehood to Washington, d C. And

Puerto Rico, effectively putting the Senate out of reach for
any conservative legislation. And they hate Jews. Now, how did
it happen? Slowly but surely this all reflects the potent
organization of the DSA and its relentless recruitment of young
people millennials. Jen Weier's gen Zers have collectively been convinced

that they just can't do it, which would represent a
two hundred and fifty year first, the first generation in
our country's history that doesn't believe in the American dream,
doesn't think we can do any better. Our best days

never introduced to Thomas Sole. They were left to simply
blame capitalism for economic inequality, prices, corruption. Who could fix it?
The government? Remember, they've never seen the realities of pure socialism.

job market AI. Maybe they were never taught to value
money and were screwed by colleges and universities, but they

lost anything. They got hooked on immediate gratification, participation, ribbons,
select sports. Their parents and society didn't bridle technology, so
the kids never learned anything, just learned how to find
the answer. Just like our politics, we now value speed
over struggle. If somebody promises stuff for free, it's just

like the convenience culture in which our kids were raised.
At some point we got to stop this and replace
