The owners of Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube are facing a
lawsuit from a woman who claims their platforms got her
addicted as a child. Internet attorney Travis Crabtree says this
could end in a major judgment against the companies.

It's not dissimilar from the tobacco lawsuits a couple decades ago,
where the companies knew they were pushing a product that
was addictive, they were marketing it towards children, and they
were putting intentional things in there to attract young people.
It's the same.

He believes this and other similar cases will ultimately lead
to a large financial settlement and changes in how these
