Houston Police Union president Doug Griffiths says Houston leads the
way an expertise, so this isn't surprising, but they're already
fighting against it. Thanks to new pay raises they just got.

And our contract speaks for itself, We're going to be
the highest paid the state and the reason is we
need that to recruit and retain officers, and with this
contract we will.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
He says, there's no incentive to leave Houston PD for Dallas.
