A man shot and wounded one of three suspects who
followed him from a gun range in southwest Houston and
tried to rob him of his guns. Officer Ken Neely
with HPD Robbery says, this case is a little baffling.

A lot of people who own handguns in the city
of Houston, and there's so many places where people go
get range time, but this may be one of the
first times I've ever heard of anyone being followed home
after coming from one of the ranges for someone attempted
to rob him. This is a rare current.

Police warned that firearms are one of the top items
targeted for thefts, so you should always check your surroundings
