oh three point seven. Hey, it's Laney and today we're
heading to the City of Power and Progress, Columbus, Nebraska.
Columbus is about eighty five miles west of Omaha and
seventy five miles northwest of Lincoln. Kids love Columbus because
it's full of great attractions like the Pawnee Plunge, water Park,

US thirty Speedway, and the Columbus Area Children's Museum. Historians
love the city because it's home to the Andrew Jackson
Higgins National Memorial in Pawnee Park. This meaningful site features
steel remnants from the World Trade Center destroyed in the
nine to eleven terrorist attacks, sand collected from fifty eight
historical significant beaches like d Day, and a full scale

replica of a World War Two era boat. Buffalo Bill
frequently visited Columbus, often stopping by Glur's Tavern, which dates
back to eighteen seventy six and is recognized as the
oldest tavern west of the Missouri River, still in all oration.
But Buffalo Bill isn't the only well known figure tied
to Columbus. The first YouTuber in the world to hit

one million subscribers was Columbus native Lucas Krukshank. He ran
a channel called Fred. Have you ever heard of him? No,
but that's amazing. Yeah. He has like a crazy voice.
It's like, hey, it's Fred, fuck you. We gotta look
that up. Yeah. He reached the milestone all the way
back in April two thousand and nine, and some of
today's biggest stars like mister Beast I've actually credited him

for paving the way for today's content creator. That's huge. Yeah.
I look forward to visiting Columbus this July for the
Platte County Fair. Dustin Lynch and Chase Matthew will be
