Takema about an an hour. Oh my gosh, laugh. Hey,
it's Laney and today we're taking a trek to Takema
about an hour north of Omaha along the US Highway

Omaha Ponka language.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
I did not know that.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Yeah, it's actually really fitting because there used to be
a lot of cottonwood trees growing along the banks of
the creek today. Summit Lake State Recreation Park also steals
the show as an impressive one hundred and ninety acre
lake with three hundred and fifty four acres of land
where folks ride horses, participate in archery, hike, hunt, boat,

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Long before he appeared on the silver screen, Gibson spent
his childhood in Takema, where he learned to ride horses
and developed the skills that would launch him into rodeo
and movie startup. There's a new one on me, Gibson.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
I didn't know that either.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
And with that we salute to Cayma, Nebraska, another great
