It is Thursday, November sixth Laurence Smith, Steve, Kelly, Bretpakita
still works here, although we don't know where he is
right now.

Could he be.

Stuck in the elevators?

Has fallen apart?

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Mat And there's lots going on this weekend. Schmid, He's
got the list of events there he is. What's come up? Lauren?

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Well, this is so fitting because obviously we have Veterans
Day coming up on Tuesday. The celebration of service is
happening tomorrow night and Saturday downtown Grand Rapids. It's at
five five five North Monroe. So if you know where
the skate park is, oh yeah, A lot of times
they would show outdoor movies in the summertime. It's going
to be taken over to celebrate and thank our heroes.

There's going to be a job there, a resource fare,
a five hundred patriotic drone show. I mean, there's a
lot that's gone into this. Our good friend Jamal is
the head of this. A US Marine himself, understands how
thankful and grad grateful we should be for our men
and women. So it's family friendly and he really would
love if you invited a veteran in your life.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Have you, guys, ever been to a drone show? They're amazing.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
At Michigan State last weekend. All of a sudden, I
looked at my right and I'm like, what are everybody
looking at?

Speaker 3 (01:24):
And they did, like the SPARTI flexing right, here's great. Yeah,
I have not seen one in person. I want to
see it. I think this is the first time too.
He said.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
They're going to be doing it right over the Grand
River downtown fun so it'd be very very cool. Again,
totally free to show up and support. We've got Riley
Green Big Country Show. Oh yeah, oh fire up.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
It is tonight.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
This is at the Intersection, so not super packed downtown
near Vanandel, but I believe it is sold out. Oh
excuse me. This one is at Vanandal. So it's going
to be very busy, sold out, good stuff, family friendly.
I don't know if you show up to the Rough
there might still be a few tickets left. But our
friends at be Night, the three are also going to
be hosting a big pre party at Gimme's this evening.
Oh cool, awesome stuff from our Broadway Grand Rapids. The

Book of Mormon has officially opened. It's got shows through Sunday,
DeVos Performance Hall. I had a few friends go last
night and they said, listen, it is a bit irreverent,
but hilarious.

Horribly inappropriate and brilliance. I took my parents, Oh boy,

was laughter from my mother. The colonel did there was
a lot of arm folding.

Also, we love this guy starting to borrow. We kick
off restaurant Week in Grand Rapids. Yep, So get the
stretchy pants ready. I also find this to be a
really great Thanksgiving pregame. See how much you can actually
fit down nice I do it. I'm very impressed with myself.
Saturday night, we've got Cat Williams coming to town. Big
comedy show at Vanandel again. Going to be a very

busy night Downtown Blue October. It's coming Sunday to GLC
Live at twenty Monroe.

I also want to give you the heads up Matt
Rife is here at Vanandel on Sunday night as well,
and big comedian again. I think that might be sold out.
And speaking of Vanandel, I want to give a shout
out because another one of our big teams has officially begun,
our Grand Rapids Gold.
