Speaker 1 (00:17):
Shine just well, this is a nice surprise. Joe and
I are getting ready for hot topics and who come in?

Speaker 2 (00:29):
But mind Mindy.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Dreyer the Dragons.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
No, that is what I have not heard, Mindy dre
or the dragon Slayer.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
I was here since like eight after four, almost right
before you guys got on the air, and I thought,
do I interrupt him now and kind of just surprise him. No,
because you guys were having such a great conversation and Joe,
I didn't want to disturb the funk shue of you guys.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
There was the punctue there always is with Joe, and
I didn't want to disturb it.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
I thought, no, I'll just surprise them at commercial break,
and so surprise, I'm back. Surprise from Nashville.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Okay, so a couple things before we talk a little
bit about Nashville. So where is the Italian joint in
Italy that everyone needs to go to?

Speaker 2 (01:17):
There is Italy, Tonarello's that's how you say it.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
That's it because I'm half Italian. Yes, that's why.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
This has eighty nine thousand Google reviews and it's a
four point seven. So when you know that's the case,
you know it's really good and it's very very populated.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
So Mindy, when the boys were at campus last week,
Marcus and I finally sat down and really started to
plan the trip. And I'm close and I just need
like a travel agent that I'm going to hand it off.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Oh yeah, you had a whole week off without the boys.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Did and I got a lot of stuff done. You know,
I got a lot of stuff done. You saw my
emails to you. You know I got a lot done.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
And those things were like a long time coming getting done.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Yeah, I need like brain space because I am not
an empty nester like my friend over here. And so
I was like, okay, I'm going to get the stunt.
So yeah, it was good, and we did the we
did the Italy planning and and all was well. Now,
while you made well, she may be an empty nester,
you were not. This last weekend. How much fun I
saw the line of boots in Nashville, Joe that Mindy

(02:22):
had no, wait a minute, was that your place?

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:26):
It was okay, And a.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Lot of people thought, did you buy all those boots?
Are those your boots?

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Joe?

Speaker 3 (02:32):
You can answer that, what do you think?

Speaker 4 (02:34):
Many Mandy bought her boots nine off they'll probably fall
apart here in a couple of weeks.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Now, you know what I'll do better than that. The
boots that I wore were given to me from my
cousin Jill.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
That also sounds about right.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Better than getting ninety nine point nine percent off. Jill
gave them the Cammy Well, they wouldn't even fit Cammy's CAFU. Yeah,
so I said, well, I need a pair of boots
for Nashville. So what those were? Mikayla and I posted
a picture of all these boots lined up in the
one corner of the house that we had rented or
condo that we rented, whatever it was. Those are all

(03:10):
the girls who were in this house, three of them
college graduates. Cammy and Reagan best friends teammates at Ohio
State softball, and then c c who played soft for OU.
She also just graduated. And now it's so weird after college,
everybody goes their own ways. So this is what Cammy
wanted to do for graduation. She wanted the families to

(03:31):
all get together and go down to one of her
favorite cities, which was Nashville. And it's so funny you
let people know you're going to Nashville and all those people,
let you know, you gotta go here, you gotta go here,
you gotta do this, you gotta do that. And I
think the number one bar that everybody said he have
to go to is Tootsies. So we went to Tutsies.
We went to kid Rocks Place.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
Who just kid Rocks Place is fun every all of
those it's just a it's a party, but everybody's happy
in a good mood and fun and festive and and
a lot of drinking and.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
A lot of drink.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Are you hydrated?

Speaker 3 (04:04):
I didn't drink that that much, but just around us,
you know what I mean? Okay, I drank your head.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
I mean, I needn't have a couple it.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
I mean, I know how it didn't drink because beers
down there are like twenty eight dollars.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Right, So she was like, how can I sneak my own?

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Okay, so quick story. You're right. We drank at the
house we were in before we went out, and then
you would go out and you'd have to, you know,
have a couple of Mike Brandy, don't buy too much
because you know, on a budget. But a friend of ours,
Ce's mom, Christine, had a little person, they look inside
your purse, but they briefly looked. Oh yeah, so she
had three little things of Tito's and something, and she's like,

(04:41):
they found one of my little things of Tito's and
Grandy's like, well, at least didn't get the other two.
But one of the coolest things is after you go
to the bars and you're all these people are on
the streets and stuff. What do I say? I always
want Joe that came. He's going to buy me one day?

Speaker 4 (04:55):
Oh I know this a monkey?

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Yes, the monkey. Oh yes, I got to pet this
monkey Morocco. I did see that. That was like one
of my favorite pictures.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
I love these this monkey connection. I didn't know this.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
Yeah, and it was so cool. But there there's we
did something called a pontoon saloon where you have to
buy tickets. They're like fifty dollars tickets and there's a
group of maybe twenty twenty five people on this pontoon
together and it just kind of about two hours yeah,
on the river there.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
And amazing can you have fun?

Speaker 3 (05:26):
And they had a dance off and guess who won
you No, Cammy.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Yes, ah my gosh.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
But it was great having Kylin because Kylin's living in
Strongsville right now, So no, I'm not an empty nester
for at least for the weekend. I wasn't anyway. It
was so fun having everybody to get together and just
just enjoy.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Was it really hot?

Speaker 3 (05:47):
It was, but then it rained and then it cooled
things off. But you know, we were at this place,
a barbecue place, and it stormed, and half of this
location is under the roof and the other half is not,
so you're watching the ranges bubble some of these picnic tables.
But also the good thing. We were stuck there for
a while. But they had ping pong, they had darts,

(06:08):
they had this other skeety game. But yeah, so we
were there for a while. And then one other thing
to tell you about this, this was the best part, well,
one of the best parts. I really wanted another friend,
couple of ours, to go because we was so much
fun with them, and I kept bugging them, come on,
come on, Buicks, and they couldn't go, couldn't go. We're
sitting in this place after the rainfall, this barbecue place,

(06:28):
and I'm on the phone with my sister. We're trying
to work out a deal with something else. So anyway,
I hear this, I see this familiar face. I'm like,
am I seeing this and I hear this? Oh wait,
Buicks came and surprised us for one day and one night.
They had to leave, like at six am this morning.
Oh my god, but I am really its cuts hard
to surprise people and get away with it. They did, Yes,

(06:50):
got away with it, and I was shocked. I dropped
the phone. I'm like, oh my god, they're here.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Party on baby, such like a fun city and then
a best surprise.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
Best surprise. Have you guys been You've been in Nashville,
have you?

Speaker 4 (07:02):
I've got a funny Nashville story. So I went there
for my one of my Buddi's batchelor. I've been in
Nashville more times than any city in the country. It's
not because I love Nashville. I think it's all. I
think it's great city, but I'm not in love with it.
But it's just there's a lot of conferences there and
it's a very popular place. It's just a it's one
of the most popular places right now. So it draws
in people to come to those conferences.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
So you can build a new stadium where Tennessee plays too.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
Yeah, they got a lot of big hotels there too
that they can they can house that. But uh yeah,
I was so I it was like a Friday morning
and I was heading there for the weekend. I'm like,
all right, before I go, you know, I'm gonna do
a bike ride. And I actually fell off my bike
and yeah, it's pretty bad and like my my risk,
my wrist was hurting, but I'm like, I got to
go to Nashville, like I'm not gonna you know.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
So I just copped off my bike.

Speaker 4 (07:48):
I drove down and I came back on Monday, and
I ended up realizing I had a broken wrist.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
The whole weekend with the broken wrist.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
Well, there's a lot of hills right up and down
those bikes on I can't believe it. But see that's
because he's tough.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
He is tough.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
He's tough, dude. And you've been there how many times?

Speaker 2 (08:07):
Two? Three? I want to say, yeah, I want to
say two or three. But I've not gone with just friends.
I've had kids with me.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
But Marcus's family wants to meet in Nashville next spring,
and I'm sure.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
That'll be a good time.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
Got yeah, I mean, I just watched.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Your pictures and I thought they were amazing.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
Oh wait till you see what I'm about to post later.
It's very fun. But we get to this condo and
the first thing we noticed is, well, there's one that's
not so bad. There's another one. And then they all
came out. We had aunts, oh this place, and so
they came and took him away. And then I was
talking to someone else. I'm like, is that normal here?
He's like, oh yeah, welcome to Nashville.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Chris has shown me a break. But I got to
tell you the really funny thing because it actually goes.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
With this story. The hot topic.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
By twenty fifty, the share of those that are eighty
five or older over in Europe's gonna double. And you
know what they are doing right now. They are going
out to the clubs at night. They would love Nashville.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
Mindy my gosh.

Speaker 4 (09:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Love like it's like a thing.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
All these pictures of these guys and gals, This multi
generational clubbing.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
Going on in Europe. I don't know if that happened, but.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
Hey, we like to have a good time.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
As we get older.

Speaker 4 (09:16):
They live a long time. Their eighties are very healthy,
so they're probably getting after it too, I imagine.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
I can only imagine. So that was my hot topic.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
But Minie's back, We're going to go to break and
then we're gonna come back and we're gonna talk more
with Joe.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
