Speaker 1 (00:00):
But it does make you sleep about think about what
happens when you fall asleep and when you dream. I've
never ever been able to sleep on my back. I
have an eye sick.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Have you tried. I've attempted.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
I just can't try because I know what works for Randy.
Randy will sleep on his back, fall asleep like that,
but then he starts snoring and I'm like, hey, yeah,
you're snoring. Can you turn on outside?

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Yeah? I have to sleep on my side too, or
on my stomach. I just can only imagine how terrifying
it feels. I mean, especially if you've had like bad dreams.
There is a dream I had when I was when
I was about seven or eight, and I remember being
in my house Indicator and I shared a bedroom with
my sister, and it was there was a thunderstorm, and

(00:42):
I swear I heard something from behind my door, my
closet door that was at the foot of my bed,
that I in my head was a vampire and it
said good night, my children. I mean, I do remember,
I do vividly. I went and got in my parents
pink bathtub with my pill Yes, pink parents pink bath
It was the eighties. It was it was like a

(01:05):
light pink, like mauvish pink, and I slept in it
that night. I was not going back.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Do you ever tell your parents?

Speaker 2 (01:11):
I don't know if I ever told my mom and dad.
That's a great question. I don't know if I ever did,
but I have a very distinct memory of that. Do
you have a distinct memory of a.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
I'll have reoccurring dreams sometimes, but I think I've always
heard too, and it has happened to me where you're
falling or something you never land. But have you ever
been in a dream and you're trying to scream but
you can't scream, like nothing comes out. That's happened to
me several times.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Are you freaked out when you wake up?

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Kinda yeah, but then you realize, yeah, it's just a dream.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
I think dreams can tell so much about people, and
I always want to dream and see my.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Mom in a dream or have you seen her?

Speaker 1 (01:51):
I don't think so, but not vividly enough. You know,
you wish it would happen like you see in the
movies where you can act see them and talk to
them and then they disappear. But wouldn't you'd love to
be able to see people that we love who are
no longer with us.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
I saw my grandmother in a dream, not probably within
the year or two after she died. We were in
a front room putting movies into a VCR. I mean
it was a great dream. I thought it was lovely.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
You know, your voice has been perfect for this show.
It kind of makes me want to talk like this,
But I think your voice lasted through the two hours.
You did a great job. Tomorrow is a huge day.
A lot of people have been asking me, what's came
we going to do now that she's graduated from Ohio State.
No more softball, Well that's debatable. She might play in Italy.
We're waiting to hear about that next month. But tomorrow

(02:39):
she starts her real nine to five job job.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
She's going to be so good at this job.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
She accepted a job with the Ohio State University's athletic department.
It's part of a two year program. Out of all
the different sports they have, they're like thirty six different
teams and all the athletes associated with those sports. At
the end of the year, they chose eight people to
be part of this gen X job, and she was
one of the eight so she gets to pull in

(03:07):
to the Horseshoe Park down below and walk in and
be with these other seven athletic people that are going
to be in the development office.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
So it's it's a real life begins tomorrow for kids photocrash.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
So does she have like a new hire training tomorrow? Like,
does she have I went, I'm sure she's gonna train.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
They're gonna go through everything that. Then they're gonna work
in different areas. I think her first phase is development.
So darn it, she'll have to work with sponsors and
donors and take them around for football games. What a
hard job, so difficult. But you know what, that's one
of the reasons we're so We tell her all the time,
we're so glad you chose Ohio State because all of
this wouldn't happen at any end of the university. You

(03:45):
were the little hometown hero. Now you get to continue
to be part of Buckeye Nation.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Only eight student athletes were chosen for this, and she
was one of the ad I'm like, I got surprised,
but wow, what an awesome, awesome thing.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
I know, I'm for her. She's like, I don't know
if I want to work nine to five. She's never
worked nine to five.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
A Danner life Cammy Joe, who does want to work
nine to five? We all probably thought that to ourselves.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
I don't know. I always liked all the jobs I had,
Like to me, it was never work.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
But well we didn't work nine to five, so we
worked like night side or mornings right so, and it
was fun. I'm hoping that she has the fun and
I think she will in this job that it won't
feel like a nine to five.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
I think she's gonna love it, I really do. I
think she's going to love it more than what she thinks.
I'm so proud that she still gets to be part
of Ohio State and they were smart to keep her
part of Ohio State. And then Saturday night, she's back
in the home Run Derby for the Cardell Jones Softball.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Which team is she on?

Speaker 1 (04:44):
She's I think right now she's just going to be
hitting in the home run derby. They asked her because
it's a fundraiser for the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer, Yes,
which she's going on that as well.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Is that the Jimmy Jam that's the WNCA, But this
is cardl Carles buck Eye quarterback.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Yeah, he does this where it's Ohio State current players
playing against Ohio State former players. But they want her
to be in the home run derby.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
That's Saturday night, as you said, and it's over at
Huntington Work. Okay, fantastic. Well guys, what a show. It
was a great show.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
And here's voice survived, baby.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
Did even though it sounds like I can tell me
up and you know whatever. So no matter what you
do this week, guys, spend some time doing what matters.
