A few months ago, Osgoode councillor George Darouze ran for a spot at Queen’s Park as a member of the Ontario PC Party. His expedition was successful, leaving a gaping hole at Ottawa City Hall. On June 16th, that role will be filled, and several byelection candidates will be campaigning to fill it. One of them is Colette Lacroix-Velthuis – a proud farmer, volunteer, and businesswoman who has lived in the ward for over 30 years. Her experience in the high-tech sector is stretching 35 years, a tenure that is highlighted by her accomplishments as an IBM Canada executive. She joins Andrew Pinsent to present her elevator pitch on CFRA Live.
