Following the passage of Bill 2, hundreds of doctors in Quebec are now exploring a potential move to Ontario. The controversial legislation, among other things, enacts a number of reforms to doctors’ pay. On Monday, several doctors in the Outaouais Region held a press conference, lamenting on the state of local healthcare and the impact that these changes will have. Joining us today with his reaction is Dr. Zainab Abdurrahman, the President of the Ontario Medical Association. Later in Hour 2, we go to the National War Memorial, as Canadians from all corners of the country paid their respects to those who served for our freedoms. Kristy Cameron chats with Nujma Bond, the National Spokesperson for the Royal Canadian Legion. Plus, after the ceremony ends, what should Canadians do with their poppies? We pose that question to CFRA’s Chris Holski.
