All Right Radio is so pleased to have with us today.
The Arthur Katie rains and she is the author of
not only a double drop, she literally this summer twenty
twenty five dropped two books at once, so did a
duel release, and then the following month turned around and
(21:23):
released another work, her first two word non fiction, her
third work, which, of course that following month released her
third work, and it is a work of fiction, a
bit of music industry crime drama. And her first book
is titled Lovecation and people, when I tell you it's
(21:47):
so interesting that I'll just fill you in on that.
If you don't already know about it, head over to
Amazon dot com right now, or whatever is your favorite
book retailer, Head over right now, tell them you want
to get all three books by Katie Rains, and it's
spelled k I t I. Rains are a y n
(22:12):
ees And of course some people may look at it
and be like Kitty Rains, and it's like, yeah, you know,
Kitty Rains if you're nasty, But otherwise it's Katy Rains
and her first book Love Kation, Love Kation, like you're
taking a vacation with love, you know, love Kation. Her
second book is titled I Only Want You. Well, actually
(22:37):
my apology, I have them flipped. She's giving me the signal.
The first one is actually I Only Want You. And
in that dual series, the sequel is or the companion
work who I Only Want You. I Only Want You
is the debut for Katy Rains, and the Love Caation
(22:59):
is the equal, although it's the dual drop. It's kind
of like the twins where one is born before the other,
you know, it's like that. And then of course the
third book, her tertiy Every Work, is titled Man Eater,
and that is that music industry crime drama. So let
(23:20):
me immediately welcome you, Katie. Thank you so much for
coming onto Articulation Radio. I love your works and definitely
we're a part of that samebe published dot org family.
But yeah, so let's dive right on in and we're
gonna just yeah, just keep it rolling, make it tight,
all right, and then we're gonna get on up out
(23:41):
of here so we can get to this wine dasy.
So tell me question one. What sparked the idea of
turning intimacy into a thirty one day adventure in lovecation?
Speaker 22 (23:57):
Thanks for having me here today to answer your question.
I wanted to give couples or even individuals something structured
yet liberating. It's not just about positions, but about rediscovering play, laughter,
and connection.
Speaker 10 (24:15):
How did you want the readers to feel after completing
the thirty one.
Speaker 22 (24:19):
Days liberated and renewed. I want them to walk away
realizing intimacy can be art and adventure, not pressure.
Speaker 10 (24:32):
I only want you. Feels like a love letter that's
distilled into a book. Who or what inspired that?
Speaker 22 (24:46):
It's an homage to the magnetic pull of singular desire,
that one person who shifts your heartbeat by simply existing.
Speaker 10 (24:56):
Do you see it more as poetry or prose?
Speaker 22 (25:01):
It's both poetry for the soul, prose for the body.
I let emotion dictate form.
Speaker 10 (25:09):
And now that man Eater. Now Man Eater is cinematic
and raw. What compelled you to write that?
Speaker 22 (25:21):
Milicent's story had been inside me for years. I wanted
to write a woman who doesn't just endure exploitation, but
reclaims power and makes the industry fear her name.
Speaker 10 (25:34):
And that tagline is bold on Man Eater? How do
you balance vengeance with vulnerability? And for those who haven't
seen it, it says they wanted to screw her as
they screwed her over so she screwed them better than
a power drill babe, So yes, how did you strike
(25:58):
that balance?
Speaker 22 (26:02):
Without vulnerability? Vengeance feels hollow? Milicent loved deeply. Her fury
is born from betrayal. That makes her human.
Speaker 10 (26:13):
I loved all of your works, like they each are
so different but so rich with everything. But I can
imagine most people would probably love that dual release, but
you know, some may or you know, maybe you know,
we'll have a problem with some of the themes or
(26:34):
some of the things they're in Man Eater. And even
from the title, you know, of course, the first thing
I thought of was that song from back in the day,
And then of course even with the words and this,
like okay, yeah, it is, but loving seeing how it's
taking on that power, you know, and that you know,
reclaiming what that name means. And and and I definitely
(26:59):
am one who Even as a little girl, I had
an aunt who had a car and she had a
man eater tag. And so that's actually what pulled me
to this because I'd even told my mom I want
to get a man eater tag and she's like, you know,
she reacted the same way my grandmother did with my aunt.
And even when my aunt pulled up with it on
(27:19):
her car, my grandma, it ain't no way I would.
In hell, I would get no man eat a on
my tag. And he driving around with my cow with
man eater on. And that's what made me actually want it,
like as a little girl, like, oh well I want
a man eat a tag, you know, And so yes,
I think I might definitely do it. So thank you
for the confirmation, and yeah, because yes so. But but
(27:41):
let me ask you, though you know other than people
who you know, may you know know about the song
or may have a relative who you know, they you know,
may see a connection with with that character that name.
For the people who this is their first time hearing
that term man eater or even you know, seeing a
character like Milicent who what kind of people do you
(28:06):
believe would actually resonate the most with man eater?
Speaker 22 (28:13):
Anyone who's ever been underestimated or betrayed then chose to
rise instead of fold?
Speaker 10 (28:21):
Okay, from lovecation to I Only want You? Well, I
guess even while you're on the lovecation, you can read
the I only want you, or you read the I
only want you, and then you all take the lovecation. Yes,
you read the I only want you. You all take
the love caation, do the thirty one days with the
(28:41):
sixty two positions, and then of course, you know, for
some entertaining reading and to definitely have some dialogue while
you all are there and even learn how each other
thinks about things and would handle things. You got to
have that man eater because aus, yes it, I mean,
this is a great piece of fiction, oh my gosh,
(29:05):
just as again, just as great as a nonfiction works
are by this great Arthur Katie Rains. As a matter
of fact, for those who are just tuning in, you're
listening to Articulation Radio. My name is Goddess Stage and
I am interviewing the Arthur of three books that were
just released here this summer twenty twenty five. Two were
(29:27):
dropped at the same time. The third one came that
following month. The name of the Arthur is Katy Rains.
It's spelled k I t I r a y n
e s. And of course, you know, yeah, you know,
Katy Rains, but Kitty if you're nasty, Katy Rains if
you're nasty, you know, or even if you're just fulfilled
(29:47):
and you know.
Speaker 4 (29:48):
Blessed like that, you know.
Speaker 10 (29:49):
But anyway, so yes, her books are titled I Only
Want You, Love Kation and man Eater, and like I
was saying, yeah, you know you can get the I
Only Want You book, and then of course the Lovecation book,
and that way you have the you know, you dote
on them with these sweet words, and you all decide
(30:12):
to go ahead and take your lovecation where you just
close up for thirty one days or even not necessarily
isolate from everyone else, but intentionally over thirty one days.
Have it to where each day you do two brand
new positions or two different positions, you know, just making
it a point to mix it up a bit. And
so yes, you know, you go through thirty one days
(30:34):
the sixty two positions. They're in Lovecation and of course
you know again, I Only Want You is just filled
with nothing but praise and it is a nice, beautiful, loving,
sexy work. And then Man Eater is the one that
is the music industry crime drama where the main character
(30:55):
takes justice into her own hands. And the title, of
course us Man Eater. The subtitle is well, I'm not
necessarily subtitle, but like a little message that was written
there on the cover, it says they wanted to screw
her as they screwed her over, so she screwed them
better than a power drill. Man Eater by Katie rains
(31:18):
k I T I R A y n E s
Get it from all. All three books are available worldwide,
able to be obtained from any major book any book retailer,
whether it's a mom and pop shop or your favorite
online retailer or even Amazon. It's available everywhere around the world.
(31:40):
And so now Katie, I'm gonna just ask you these
last few questions and then we are both gonna get
on a out of here girl and go on and
you know, get that wine taste in like we do
definitely deserve. But any way, you know, and dinner and
dinner dessert. Maybe, yeah, definitely, definitely, we'll just go ahead
(32:01):
and wrap this on up. So anyway, my question to
you is, though from I Only Want you to Love
caation to man Eater, was that progression intentional?
Speaker 22 (32:16):
Yes, there are different faces of the same gem, desire,
devotion and defiance.
Speaker 10 (32:24):
How was writing them back to back or rather, you know,
along the same times or getting them finalized around the
same time and then yeah, releasing them like that? How
was that for you? Because I know in the past
for me, you know, sometimes it was you know, challenging,
fun fulfilling. Other times it was like, oh my gosh,
(32:46):
you know, where am I going to find this money?
Why am I even doing this?
Speaker 7 (32:50):
Like this?
Speaker 10 (32:50):
Do I even have to do this?
Speaker 4 (32:51):
But what was it like for you?
Speaker 10 (32:53):
You know, how was it writing them back to back?
And you know, yeah, what was that like for you?
And what changed for you? How has writing them back
to back? I would say, that's the question I want
to ask, how has writing them back to back changed you?
Speaker 22 (33:14):
It made me bolder and reminded me. I don't have
to choose between sensuality and ferocity. I can be both.
Speaker 10 (33:22):
Tell the listeners where they can order your book. Of course.
I know I mentioned earlier about the worldwide, but you
know it's always best when people hear it directly from
the Arthur. So let them know where your books are
available and any additional info that they would need to order.
Speaker 22 (33:40):
They're available worldwide in ebook and paperback. You can grab
them on Amazon or ask your local bookstore to order them.
Speaker 10 (33:50):
What was publishing like with be published dot org for you.
Speaker 5 (33:55):
Smooth?
Speaker 22 (33:56):
I made a phone call, sentazel, emailed my word, doc
and photo, and my publishing associate did the rest. It
saved me time and money.
Speaker 10 (34:05):
Would you recommend be published dot org to other writers
as well as those who are releasing because we know
that be published dot org releases books, movies, and music.
Would you recommend be published dot org to other creatives?
Speaker 22 (34:22):
Absolutely? Call nine seven two eight eight zero eight three
one six to talk to doctor Mary Jefferson or email
publisher at bee published dot org. They make publishing easy
while letting you keep your rights.
Speaker 10 (34:38):
What tips would you like to share for people who
want to do what you do, but they have a
million excuses or reasons as to why they cannot seem
to just get it done or appropriate the time or
you know whatever it is, you know why they can't
rise to the occasion. And also, in addition to that,
(35:00):
you know not only sharing some tips to help others,
but tell them also how it is that you get
through your toughest times.
Speaker 22 (35:13):
Excuses will always exist, but so will opportunity. I push
through by reminding myself if I don't tell this story,
no one else can tell it for me. Discipline and
self belief carry me through the hardest days.
Speaker 10 (35:29):
Well, thank you so much. I so appreciate your time.
Now this is my very last question to you. I
promise now, what is there that you have not had
the chance to say to the listeners of Articulation Radio
that you would like to say right now?
Speaker 22 (35:49):
Thank you for listening and thank you for reading. My
hope is that my words remind you of your own strength,
your own fire, and your own story waiting to be written.
Speaker 10 (36:02):
Katy Rains, Katy Rains, thank you so much for all
of the great nuggets that you gave, because when I
tell you, there are going to be not only marriages saved,
but probably marriages that actually take place because you are
putting these works out to help people, those who especially
(36:26):
those who have been victims of things like domestic violence,
sexual trafficking, sexual abuse. They will be able to become
empowered in a way I would say from man eater,
and they will be able to for those in the
love relationships, they can celebrate them and if they haven't
(36:47):
had the words, because some people are like, oh, you know,
I just don't have the words to say, hey, here's
a book that gives you beautiful words to say. Oh
my gosh, great work on that. And for those who
are like, we need to spice up the bedroom, but
I don't want to do any crazy stuff, you know,
just you know, just tired of the you know, one
to three positions that we do or whatever. Yeah, you
(37:11):
have it to where you have positions for you know,
those who you know are more adventurous would be like yes, yes,
you know, great recommendation. And even with some that's like wow, okay, yeah,
I definitely got to try that.
Speaker 13 (37:25):
You know.
Speaker 10 (37:25):
So yeah, you know, great offerings. You know, it's something
for everybody. And I love that you're pushing couples to
devote themselves to each other. You're pushing individuals to go ahead,
take charge and you know, also look out for others
as well, and that you're literally building love, spreading love,
(37:45):
building courage, spreading courage, all of that, and and I
encourage you to keep up the great work. I'm thankful
for meeting you and for our even having the opportunity
to make a lot of things happen, and looking forward
to making even more happen. As we toasted up this evening. Yes, well, readers,
(38:08):
