Speaker 14 (06:42):
At the bead.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
Same time that Herder refused to give the.

Speaker 15 (06:46):
Negro in the land, through an act of Congress, government
was giving away millions of makers of land in the
West and the Midwest. But not only did they give
them and they built lack brand colleges. The government money to.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
Get a lot of farm.

Speaker 15 (07:07):
Not only that they provided county agents for further that
expertise farming. Not only that they provided low interest rates
in order that they could mechanize that farm. Not only that,
but they many of these people are receiving miniondreds of
dollars in federal subsidies, not the full and they are

(07:29):
the bennerest people can in the black man if you
are lift himself by his own hoops traps. This is
what we are faced with, and this is the reality.

Speaker 7 (07:39):
Now when we come to Washington in this campaign, we
are coming to get our check.

Speaker 16 (07:55):
You can always redirect money into vettering situations. I remember
I interviewed one of the guys who the War Dogs
movie was based off, and I, you know, you hear things.
We don't always register things. I remember I asked them,
you know what the budget is for defense in the US.
He said eight hundred billion dollars a year, eight hundred billion,

(08:17):
with a bet.

Speaker 8 (08:18):
I thought those two hundred and fifty.

Speaker 16 (08:19):
It used to be that. It's been raising up over
the years, probably about five ten years ago it was that. Well, right,
if you talk about the Pentagon alone, they spent billions.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Yeah, got eight hundred billion.

Speaker 16 (08:31):
Well in total, eight hundred billion dollars.

Speaker 17 (08:34):
Yes, that's per just that's per year, yeah, per year,
per year, eight hundred billion.

Speaker 8 (08:40):
Yeah, that's the entire Pentagon budget.

Speaker 18 (08:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 16 (08:44):
Yeah, I had no idea. Yeah, it's an eight hundred
billion dollars a year on weapons.

Speaker 5 (08:50):
Yeah, it's about ten times more than like the next
five biggest countries combined.

Speaker 8 (08:55):
Yes, something like that.

Speaker 19 (08:57):
So eight hundred billion dollar. That mean in thirteen years
if we applied the same amount to reparations.

Speaker 20 (09:08):
Wait, wait, I'm wrong, I'm wrong twenty twenty five, eight
hundred and ninety two point six billion dollars ago, almost
nine hundred almost nine hundred billion.

Speaker 19 (09:19):
Economists have concluded on several economists that can have concluded
that black reparations would amount to between thirteen and seventeen
trillion dollars.

Speaker 16 (09:30):
Trillion dollars.

Speaker 19 (09:31):
Yes, we're spending you just said one trillion a year
on defense. Yeah, just give us half of that. Just
give this doors half a nive hundred billion years or
five hundred billion for a year, and we stretch it
out to twenty five years.

Speaker 16 (09:46):
And it was I remember, you know, this was when
I was you know, I was going viral for these comments.
I remember at the time, this is before the pandemic.
I said, I don't think that cash payments for black
reppers are going to work because of the amount of
money you would probably bankrupt the country. I suggested, for example,
like you know, free college education and so forth. And

(10:08):
people got on me, and it was like, oh, that's
not a fair one about Jewish people. Your people got
reparations from German and so forth. And then the pandemic happened,
and I saw the amount of money that the US
gave out and I said, you know something, I was wrong.
I was wrong. I think the kind of the US
got it. If the US wanted to pay black people
back for slavery cash is actually a pope. So I

(10:29):
had apologize. I remember me and deal like you. You
talked about that in one of my shows.

Speaker 19 (10:32):
And also I've always and I've been a member of
In fact, I helped write the reparations legislation as a
student assistant to Congressman Sohn Conyers when he drafted it.
And I've always, as part of the reparations movement, advocated

(10:56):
for suing corporations that has survived, corporations that profited from
slavery and pats survived, and there are many who participated
in the slave trade.

Speaker 8 (11:08):
We know that Wall Street financed much of the slave.

Speaker 19 (11:11):
Trade, so in that sense they can pay without bankrupt
and their individuals.

Speaker 16 (11:20):
Yeah, yeah, I mean there's actually, let me see, there's
a list of corporations like this want to pull it up.
The ones that we know about Lehman Brothers, Etna, JP Morgan,
the New York Life Insurance. Yeah, and then Rothschild and
Son's Bank in London, Norfolk Southern. That's the train right

(11:42):
USA today, Fleet Boston's CSX, Canadian National Railway, Brown Brothers, Harriman,
Brooks Brothers, Barclays, the Barclays Center over in Brooklyn. Yeah,
and just give it to black people. They can own that, right,
that's cool, not to say.

Speaker 19 (11:59):
Anybody you mentioned over the course of years, they've made
tens of trillions.

Speaker 16 (12:07):
Yeah, yeah, I agree, man, I agree. So now do
you think it will happen all that time.

Speaker 8 (12:15):
Well, we didn't think we'd have a black president in
our lifetime.

Speaker 16 (12:19):
This is true.

Speaker 8 (12:19):
So I'll never do it. And you don't know unless
you try, and so let's keep trying and see what happens.

Speaker 14 (12:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 16 (12:28):
And I mean you've seen small instances of this at
certain universities, and I think Harvard did something about that,
and a couple of the universities.

Speaker 19 (12:37):
And we got local municipalities who have passed reparations ordinances
that also provide assistance.

Speaker 8 (12:48):
Pursuing to that ordinance.

Speaker 19 (12:50):
I think there's a guaranteed income in Chicago, I believe
it is, or was for a short time, fifteen hundred
per person for a certain population who has part of
the reparations bill.

Speaker 8 (13:02):
And then you have states that can do the same.

Speaker 19 (13:04):
But major cities run by African American political officials have,
certainly most of them passed ordinances supporting congressional legislation for reparations.
And that's why so important that we participate in the
system that has the resources.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
You know, I get it.

Speaker 19 (13:28):
They don't respect us, they don't want us, they don't this,
they rejected us. Why are you trying to fight your
main way into the white man's world? Why you want
to be somewhere wasn't nobody want? I don't want to
do any of that. I want what's mine, period, That's
what I want. Great great grandmama, I want great great
Grandmama would have.

Speaker 8 (13:48):
Given me that, and y'all got it.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
Give me my share.

Speaker 8 (13:51):
That's how I look at it. Is not about anything
other than justice.

Speaker 16 (13:57):
I agree. I agree.

Speaker 21 (13:59):
Like I said, I've said so and things that I
had to you know, rewind back on, you know, but
ultimately I'm okay with getting more information and changing my
stance yeah, that's okay, we're all wrong.

Speaker 8 (14:11):
It's certain time, and so yeah, we all have.

Speaker 16 (14:14):
Opinions, and you get more information and think you're better
off absorbing the new information as opposed to just being
stubborn and saying, well I said it before, so I
just got to stand on that and so forth.

Speaker 17 (14:55):
Today, Hey Toddy will lead off, hes to the h
batting second at short stop, Bookie Betts, Ti, Oscar Hernandez
in right field, bat third and batting playoff at first base,
It's Freddie Freedom, Tommy Edmond at second base, will bet fifth,
betting sixth at third base, Key k Hernandez, Alex Paul
once again the left field at Paul will bat seventh.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
Betting eighth.

Speaker 17 (15:14):
In center field, it's Andy Pajes and Ben, Rourke Bett
doing the catching.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
Rokvett bats to night.

Speaker 17 (15:20):
So again it's Tommy Betts, Ta Oscar Hernandez Freeman, Edmund Key,
k Hernandez, Paul Pajes and Rourkevick, Cartney, Rojas, Pajes and
Rourke Bett tonight for Los Angeles. For the Phillies, here
is the lineup or manager Rob Thompson. It'll be Trey
Turner in the leadoff spot. He plays short stop, betting second.

(15:40):
The designated hitterer is Kyle Schwarber. Trice Harper at first base,
will bat third and batting let up at third base,
It's Alec Bohm, j. T Romuto doing the catching, Heat
bats fifth, betting six. The right fielder tonight, Nick Castianos
at Mundo Sosa starts at second base.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
He'll bout seventh, batting ape and centerfield. It's Brandon Marsh
and back nine clock. The other tonight will be Otto Kemp.

Speaker 17 (16:03):
So again it's Turner, Schwarber, Harper, Paul Rebuto, Cassiados, Sosa, Harsh.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
And Kemp all about tonight for the Buildings, it's their
leading winner this year.

Speaker 22 (16:12):
Left hander has ard To and he's got a report
on Jesus. He's the four seam seeker combo forty five
percent of time hour just ninety six on pretty with them,
both of them.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
The sweeper's been big for him this year.

Speaker 22 (16:25):
He started in spring training and it's really been a
huge pitch for him, using at twenty seven percent, and
he uses change in sinker more right handers and fewer sliders.
The lower arm angle, who's helped him a lot and
especially should help him against this Dodgers ladup, who has
done a pretty good job against lefties unless it's a
picture with the lower.

Speaker 1 (16:43):
Arm angle than thirty five to three, and that's where
Bazaro is.

Speaker 22 (16:46):
He did about thirty, so that's a help to Wizzarro
and it's something that is Otani has struggled with also,
So big health there.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
Well, we're ready to go.

Speaker 17 (16:59):
Tani isn't about his box, standing in the left side
as a Lozardo in those home whites with the red
pinstripes for number forty four on his back. His first
pitch of the night is a fastball at ninety eight
miles an hour.

Speaker 1 (17:12):
It's a little bit high, and.

Speaker 17 (17:14):
We're runderway right on time tonight at six oh eight,
we're a beautiful night for baseball.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
Add the next pitch to Otani sweeper down at end,
it's like some fun rolled in a two and oho count.

Speaker 17 (17:28):
I think that's the smoke real hearing from the pregame
fireworks team. It was alright already the two Otto Atonic right,
it's taken.

Speaker 22 (17:36):
It's a stripe probably outside torner ninety eight on that fastball.
And other time we're gonna see a little tick up
in the velocity with the adrenaline.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
Going in the playoffs.

Speaker 17 (17:47):
Early in the game to one to old Tani that
he takes another fastball for another strike.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
It's doing too at the plate. On Saturday Night, otanio
for four with four strikeouts in a walk.

Speaker 17 (18:02):
He steps out of the batter's box, takes his time
out aater and Johnson to play down Part at Night
restarts the flock.

Speaker 1 (18:08):
Lozardo facing the hitter, now turns into his mind and
the two two pitch swaying in a foul out of
the plate fouled it off.

Speaker 22 (18:15):
He said, Ribs, I think Don Stuffin got it in
the side. Change up there for Lozardo to two change
up the good one and he just got a piece up.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
A towny fifty five home runs during the regular season.
The two two all the way.

Speaker 15 (18:34):
It's taken for a call for a strength change up
right at the knees of Tony waving at Adrian Johnson's
saying no, that wasn't.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
A strike, but you might want to go take a look,
and I think you'll if you find out it was,
And it was great pitch from Luzardo.

Speaker 15 (18:57):
Man.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
Here's Bookie Betts, who fifty eight hit or this season.

Speaker 17 (19:00):
The pitch he takes and that's the strike call starts
him with a change up away with poppy outside part
of the plate, Baum Turner, Sosa and Harper on the
infield third to first for the Phillies, it's kept Marsham
Castiatos in the outfield is the next pitch? This is
up high Noah Harrison Vader in the lineup tonight. Rob

(19:23):
Thompson was hopeful he might be available for a pinch
hit appearance, but it remains to be seen. The wayapios
are on the two to two the bets.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
He's fouled away. Whether you go one one of the bets,
it's now one and two. Rookie Boo for.

Speaker 17 (19:43):
Five in Game one, Palpi straight away against him. Here's
the pitch, swinging in a bowl ninety nine. You know
his hands, that was in on his hands, with a
great pitch, beautiful nights, seventy eight degrees, just a few

(20:04):
scattered clouds.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
The lights have taken hold the wind up in a.

Speaker 17 (20:08):
One to two pitch, swinging a shot towards short diving
Turner can't get it.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
That's a base hit through the hole.

Speaker 17 (20:14):
And that was pulled way over as Turner was started
in the hole and it was still out of his reach.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
And bets with the game's first hit. He's aboard as
ta Oscar Hernandez comes up.

Speaker 17 (20:32):
Well, he didn't get fooled on that change up at all,
for sure, and is we had a big home run
on Saturday night.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
The pitch it takes a fastballed off. The played away
HiT's one to zero.

Speaker 17 (20:51):
And Landez twenty five home runs during the regular season.
He's now got eight career playoff hovers, including three this October.
The pitch that's down all two an o count, but
he's hoping to turn two on the infield Harper on
the back at first.

Speaker 1 (21:11):
Bookie bets eight stolen bases.

Speaker 5 (21:13):
On the year.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
Lozardo had a tough time with controlling the running game.
During the season. We'll see if that becomes a factory. Today.

Speaker 17 (21:22):
Two and oh count, big lead for Bets and to
pitch home and that's down in change up and it's
three and zero.

Speaker 1 (21:32):
Or Lozardo.

Speaker 23 (21:33):
It's his fourth career playoffs start, his fifth appearance overall
in the postseason, his first since right here at this
ballpark when he pitched for the Marlins twenty three.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
To three to zero, and he's taking all the way,
takes a look at his wife. It's three and one.
He's zero and two of the six fourteen era in
the playoffs.

Speaker 17 (22:00):
Balls and his strike to Hernandez and a throw of
it at first back standing his bets. This Woodward first
base coach in to say something to Bookie Betts, you know,
evil flashing the signs third base coach or Dave Roberts Dodgers.
Three balls, one stripe, the kick, the pitch swung on,

(22:20):
popped up first base side, foul ground.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
They'll play for Harpers. Eight rows back, not fastball at
ninety seven.

Speaker 22 (22:29):
But you see the kind of gidea up to life
that it has is I'm sitting on a fastball there
and just didn't catch up to it, so.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
The count is now full.

Speaker 17 (22:44):
Wants to asking Hernandez with a runner aboard and went
out of the first. Rozardo ready just below the letters
the three two. Swinging a foul back won't change out

(23:12):
and now if they ask you, takes time out, steps
out of the box. Three balls, two strikes. BET's leading.

Speaker 1 (23:27):
I look at first, another look over, and now he's
gonna throw that way, and that's the second disengagement. But
I believe Bets will be going here good things, and

(23:50):
he's not in the three two. It's sweeper that this
is down low.

Speaker 17 (24:00):
And so two met aboard after a single, want a
walk and then I'll bring up Freddy Freeman.

Speaker 22 (24:15):
This is where I think lozardro has to be careful
to have to pay attention to Bet at second base.
Lozardo had a couple of times the guys were stolen third.
He just wasn't really paying attention to him, peeping in
behind Bets, trying to keep him close. First pitch on
the way, runner not going. It's a breaking ball and
it just misses Low and Lozardo. So far in eighteen pitches,

(24:38):
eight balls, eleven strikes. Maddy Freeman won for three on Saturday.

Speaker 17 (24:45):
The pitch and it's a breaking ball down low, and
it's a two and oh count, and the fans a
bit restless here.

Speaker 1 (24:52):
That's good, a little bit of a running league at
second base too, two and oh count two on the
shade Freeman the other way in.

Speaker 17 (25:00):
The outfield, here's the two to zero pitch swing on
a drive towards right field. Castianos came in now, going back,
reaches and makes the catch. Bets tags he's gonna head
for third days the throw will go to second and
Nick Castiano's mid flight adjustment there he makes the play
for out number two, big out right there, no doubt,

(25:24):
and that'll bring up Tommy Edmund Edmund one for three
Saturday night in the series opener, no score, top of

(25:46):
the first, Dodgers threatening two on two out and that.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
Is at first, Bets at third. Here's the pitch to
Edmund and it's taken inside ball one. I'm not sure
if the fans.

Speaker 17 (26:02):
Think that's a strike or if they're think they're reacting
to Lozardo's pitch, but it was a ball. The one
off had a swing and a mess fastball and he
blew it by him.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
Here one ball, one strike to count.

Speaker 17 (26:26):
Lozardo kicks the pitch, Edmund swings, grounds it towards second,
Sosa gobbles it out, sets.

Speaker 1 (26:31):
His feet, hires the first, and Lozardo out of trouble.
Here on the top of the first, no runs, one hit,
two left by the Dodgers. We're going to the bottom
of the first inning. It's la nothing and the Phillies
coming up.

Speaker 18 (26:46):

Speaker 1 (28:19):
There're some production from those guys here tonight against Snell.
No score.

Speaker 17 (28:24):
Bottom of the first first pitch from Blake Snell is
taken and it's in for a strike ninety six about belt.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
High right down in the middle, split the plate in half.

Speaker 17 (28:37):
Going one the count turner zero for three with a
walk on Saturday, the one pitch and a swing Innna Bess,
and there's the right breaking ball.

Speaker 22 (28:49):
Fastball was split the plate. That one's on the corner.
Most of his pitches will be on the corner or
just off the plate.

Speaker 17 (28:57):
The boss two strikes, bets plays way on the whole
at shortstop against Turner.

Speaker 22 (29:01):
Here's the pitch and it's taken down all Smell could
never pitch for the Marlins, I don't believe, because he
calls his own pitches, and.

Speaker 1 (29:09):
I don't think they allow that, not anymore. They don't.

Speaker 17 (29:19):
Snell the two times say of award winner and the
one two it's up and away and off the bent
of roorkback frickens over the shorter in the on deck circle.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
And this is Snell's game. He will get to two strikes.

Speaker 17 (29:33):
He will then try to expand and get to the chase,
and Turner being patient, here levels the count two and two.
You'll wind up and Snell's pitch all the way and
it's taken for a called third strike and Turner trying
to check the swing there.

Speaker 1 (29:50):
I'm not sure that was a strike.

Speaker 22 (29:52):
But with Adrian Johnson back there, we saw him in
his last series of Bill's Head and he was horrible.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
So I don't really expect the whole lot more from him.
Becomes Kyle Schwarber. Schwarber in the throes of an zero
for eighteen.

Speaker 17 (30:09):
Stretch at the play dating back into the regular season,
of course, and Snell with a pitch to Shworeberry swings
in Sky's one shadow left, Rojas going out, key k
Hernandez coming on. I'll let Feuder calls and makes the catch.
Or what a towering pop up that was. But that

(30:31):
is out number two and with two gone Harper debout.
Pitch might not have been a strike top of the zone.
If if it was of the strike was at the
very top. Oh, Harper only one of the big three.

Speaker 1 (30:50):
At the top to get a hit on Saturday, he
went one for.

Speaker 17 (30:53):
Four with a single with pitch, and Harper takes off
the plate away, goes pitch, breaking ball, and he'll throw
the variety of breaking balls off the plate away to lefties,
and there's a wind up. There was no one to
zero offer and that's outside just off.

Speaker 22 (31:13):
The plate ton Oh, almost in the same spot with
that fastball he called prey out right left.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
He said two twenty four against him. Not many lefties
faced him. Quite frankly Harper.

Speaker 17 (31:25):
Was one of those. Here's the wind up by Snell
and the two to zero pitch on the way. There's
a breaking ball that split the place just above the
knees and it's two and one.

Speaker 1 (31:35):
That's the thing.

Speaker 22 (31:36):
He can get behind an the count, throw his curve ball,
slider chain, it doesn't matter.

Speaker 1 (31:39):
He can throw any pitch in any count.

Speaker 17 (31:43):
The two to one offer and a swing and a miss,
and there's a fastball that he can't connect with.

Speaker 1 (31:48):
And we saw that Saturday night with Otani on the
hill ninety seven, just above the knees, right in the
middle of the plate, no score, bottom of the first
Blake Snell looking for a one two three first inning,
the left hander into his wine and the two to
two to Harper, it bounces in front of the plate.

(32:10):
That's three and two. Bomb would be next if Harper
can get aboard O hosted third baseman lay off the line.

Speaker 17 (32:22):
He's back at third base. Bets shaded up the middle
outfield the other way. The three to two pitch from Snell,
and that's down on the way.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
Ball four. First walk of the game issued by Blake Snell.
And this is the thing with Snell. Twelve pitches six balls,
six strikes. Well, he's done that throughout his career.

Speaker 17 (32:42):
But yep, he said, he's a two time Siam Award winner,
so he's made it work for himself.

Speaker 1 (32:46):
One thing, he's always fresh at the end of the
year because he never pitches a full year. I think
twice he's pitched a full year in his career.

Speaker 17 (32:54):
Here is Alec Bam and to throw over the first
by Snell will Chase Harper Snell again. Eleven starts is
all but opposing base Steelers are six for eleven off him.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
Edmund shades up the middle against bawlm big hole, right
side on the ground. The first pitch hit that way
to the right side, but Edmund two steps through his
left will field it on a hot he'll throw the
first and ball.

Speaker 17 (33:23):

tonight it's scored us.

Speaker 16 (33:34):

Speaker 17 (33:37):
From the very beginning, people were knocking on the door
saying we are owed for our labor.

Speaker 1 (33:45):
Kellie House, she was born a slave.

Speaker 25 (33:48):
She went out all around in the community to other
black people that they ought asked the government to get
somebody because they were pulled and they were desperate. By
the nineteen hundred had three hundred thousand dues paying members.
It was the largest organization of black folk that had existed.

(34:09):
Pretty soon her activities came to the attention of the
government and they convicted her a fraud.

Speaker 26 (34:17):
The federal charge was that, at a time when you
should have known that the federal government would never give
negroes anything, why were you telling negroes they should organize
to try to get something.

Speaker 8 (34:32):
They sent her to prison to serve one year term.

Speaker 25 (34:36):
She got out of prison, she went back to Danshville
to this shotgun house. She got uteriny cancer, and she died.
You can draw a direct line from Kelly House to
the reparations movement.

Speaker 9 (34:52):

Speaker 1 (35:17):
This last season, well, we'll go to the second dingo

Speaker 17 (35:22):
Haesus Lozardo coming on top of the first, got out
of some trouble at hitting in a walk, giving up but.

Speaker 1 (35:30):
Rogers strand a couple of runners. We'll go to the second.

Speaker 17 (35:33):
Keike Hernandez will leave things off against Lozardo, and that
is we had a big two run double on Saturday
night in the first game, and always seems to come
up with a big hit come October career two eighty
five hitter in the postseason and eight eighty ops in

(35:58):
the postseason. First pitch doing on and it's taken for
a called strike ninety five on that center from Lozardo
and it's nothing in one almost no wind to speak
of here at this hour. The O one pitch and
what's outside you have flags totally still out there in
Ashburn Alley. Twenty four pitch, first inning for Lozardo. The

(36:25):
pitch breaking ball, there's a strength one ball, two strikes
Lozarto with the wine and the pitch swing and it
has struck Cam out up high with a Passball's second

(36:48):
strike you out for the left hander and that'll bring
out to Goe Rojas. The one change in the starting
lineup on Saturday's big go Rojas gets to start at
third base. The whine of the pitch he takes that's
a little bit wide. We mentioned Adrian Johnson at home plate,

(37:12):
Nick Lentz at first. The crew chief is Mark Wegner.
He empires at second gim both at third, Dan Brosel
in the left, mister Saha on the right field line.

Speaker 1 (37:21):
No one, oh Let's stand ohe Let's two and h.

Speaker 17 (37:27):
Rojas two sixty two hitter with seven homers this year
will be six year old infielder the two O pitch

Speaker 1 (38:06):
Big help got to bring up the center fielder Andy Paez.

Speaker 17 (38:15):
Pa haz won for four on Saturday the opening game,
two seventy two hitter, and the Phillies had a tough
time getting him out this year. The pitch swinging a
US first pitch sweeper, I'm called Zardo here in his

Speaker 1 (38:40):
His second start, in fact, his first start as a
Philly at home came against the Dodgers way back on
April the fourth, the one swinging a fly ball into
the left. It's not deep, kept waiting on it and
he has got and there's.

Speaker 17 (41:15):
Kt Renuto had a big hit Saturday for the Phils.
Leads off here against Blake Snell. Thirteen pitch, first inning
for Snell, and k t takes the first pitch. It's
a fastball right on the inside corner.

Speaker 22 (41:28):
I think with Snell, though, the hitters have to go
up there and figure out what they're looking for and
sit on it.

Speaker 1 (41:34):
He's not going to make a lot of mistakes. Whining.

Speaker 17 (41:37):
They go one and that's way inside. He goes slider
down it in one ball on one strike. K Hernandez
in laugh. Dandy Pie hasn't center to ask her. Hernandez
pretty shallow and right. One ball, one strike the count,
Snell delivers to the pitch check swing, foul ball the.

Speaker 1 (41:57):
Screene at didn't mean to do that. The bassball up
and in off the plate. Ojas, Betts, Edmund and Freeman.
Are you in the field for the Dodgers? Work again
behind the plate tonight.

Speaker 17 (42:12):
I'll be catching for Blake Snow, thirty two year old
left hander Seattle, Washington. Into the wine of the one
two pitch, and that's inside. We try to crowd JT
here at fleeling. He likes the ball away likes to
shoot it the other way. Did that the other night,
rifle of a triple up the alley in might sit

(42:35):
snow with the wine and the two to two on
the way, swing at the ground ball to short in
again at his bets, go to first.

Speaker 1 (42:42):
As in talking too retired one away and I'll bring
up Nick Castianos.

Speaker 17 (42:56):
Castianos came off the bench on Saturday night after Harrison
Batter was injured. Cassianis would have been in the lineup
tonight regardless of the beta injury. Right and the first
pitch on the way he swings a missus first pitch
change up. He does not have good numbers against Blake

(43:18):
Snell in his career, because he's.

Speaker 1 (43:20):
Just one for nineteen with eight strikeouts against him.

Speaker 17 (43:26):
All one pitch all the way and he takes a
fastball that's over with the knees for a fall strike two.
What he does have is quite an accomplished division series
resumes the two pitch all the way and a swing
and events he got him on a change up off
the plato.

Speaker 15 (43:45):
Da.

Speaker 1 (43:49):
You know, here's the second strikeout the Blake Snell that
he's still looking for their first hit.

Speaker 22 (43:55):
That's been a common thing for the Phils early in
Dang for number of endings is not getting things going but.

Speaker 1 (44:04):

Speaker 17 (44:07):
Here's ed Mundo Sosa in the lineup and placing Bryce
and Scott a left hander on the mound.

Speaker 1 (44:12):
The pitch it takes and that's the strength.

Speaker 17 (44:19):
On and one account, I said two seventy six this
season with eleven homers in a swing, we're gonna miss.

Speaker 1 (44:31):
And he's putting me down of the count other than two.
And you'll certainly get into this.

Speaker 17 (44:36):
Part of the lineup and it's uber aggressive and right
handed batters for the Phillies, you know, to pitch on
away and so it takes low. You've got the lefty
in marsh next, and Marsha's the one guy who probably
would not be in the lineup tonight and have not
been pervaded his injury or bottom of the second Snell

(45:05):
the end of the white up. The one two to Susa.
They can go all swing and a mess. You got it,
a pair of strikeouts, you know, one to two, three

We'll go to the third. Still it moves forward, did

with one matchup of two left handers for Game two.

Speaker 1 (47:23):

card series.

Speaker 17 (48:22):
Turner plays him up the middle, left handed batter waits
the oh team have a bounces in front of the plate.
The game one winner in a five game series goes
on to win the series seventy two percent of the time.

Speaker 1 (48:38):
That's the Major League history behind it. At least twenty
eight percent of the time.

Speaker 31 (48:44):
For the good guys two swinging the best well eleven
of the last twelve Game one winners in a five
game set have won their series.

Speaker 17 (48:56):
The most recent team not to win a series when
winning game one in a five game set are the
Dodgers in twenty two against the San Diego Patres. Rodgers
took game one, and the Padres reeled off three straight
won the series in four. Here's Otani. It's a high hopper,
got it in play, but it's right at Sosa.

Speaker 1 (49:15):
We're falling out on one pitch or Tani is gone.
He remains hit this in the series. Two down. Now.
One big difference in that series we mentioned in twenty
two is.

Speaker 17 (49:29):
That started at Dodgers Stadium, but Dodgers won the first
game at home, lost game two at.

Speaker 1 (49:35):
Home, and then lost two straight.

Speaker 7 (49:36):
On the road.

Speaker 1 (49:37):
Phillies need to They're gonna have to do it on
the road. In addition to tonight is Bookie Betts takes
the first pitch bastball, and the number of teams that
have been able to.

Speaker 17 (49:49):
Do that is a very small number to lose your
first home game in game one and still win the
five game series.

Speaker 1 (49:57):
One pitch and he went tried to check.

Speaker 22 (50:00):
I wonder how many lost the first game and ended
up two and two going to Game five.

Speaker 1 (50:06):
Don't know the answer to that.

Speaker 7 (50:07):
I do know.

Speaker 17 (50:08):
The last team to lose at home in Game one
on their home field and still win the series was
in twenty seventeen.

Speaker 1 (50:17):
There was a swing and a god can't pick at
short by turner, long throw. It's all the money guy.
Great play, that's good, yet by him this time.

Speaker 17 (50:25):
And there's another one, two, three innings or Jesus Louzardo
who's now retired.

Speaker 1 (50:30):
At eight in a row, we will go to the
bottom of the third. Phil's nothing in it out, Who's nothing.

Look Larry at the two balls hit by Mookie back
and it's tough to tell with the camera angle would get,
but it does look like that turner maybe was a
step or two more towards the ball that second time.

Speaker 1 (52:09):
But that's actually hit the ball harder the second.

Speaker 17 (52:12):
Time, turner is still able to get to it as
opposed to that first I don't know if it was
a slight tweep or if it maybe had something to
do with the pitches.

Speaker 1 (52:19):
That were being thrown. Obviously, the shortstop can hear those
balls in the headsets because that makes a difference.

pitch outside ball one. Because they didn't have no cheat
cards with them right or headsets.

Speaker 17 (52:47):
They knew how to remember stuff, walking, talkings in their hats,
smell with the wine.

Speaker 1 (52:55):
And the one O pitch that's outside. It's two and zero. Marsh.

Speaker 17 (53:00):
He hit just under two hundred against lefties this year,
five seventy seven ops against.

Speaker 1 (53:09):
He's opposed to eight thirty six against righties. But he's
out in center field tonight two O from Snell and
it's swung on and missed. And that would have been
ball three easily as he swings at a two O
slider in the dirt. And that's my point.

Speaker 22 (53:23):
If you're looking for something, you can't be looking for
a You shouldn't be looking for a slider in the
dirt down in the way.

Speaker 17 (53:29):
Two balls one strike. Snell kicks and deals in the pits,
swung on and miss. That's a fastball just off the edge,
maybe six miles an hour. The count goes to two
and two s now with three k's, one walk, no
hits allowed going up in the two to two on
the way Marsh takes it. It's outside, just missed, but

(53:52):
it is a ball.

Speaker 1 (53:53):
And a cow runs fall three and two.

Speaker 17 (53:57):
Outfield way over the other way against the a in.
Marsh hiz, he's way over in the left center. We're
pretty shadow breach you.

Speaker 1 (54:06):
On the way. I'm a swing of the foul back
fastball in the zone, but just barely up and away
from Marsh.

Speaker 17 (54:15):
He fights it off ninety eight on that fastball and
at Marsh, who had an incredible final fifty two game
finish to the season.

Speaker 1 (54:26):
Three to two pitch and it's Dad low ball four
a take on a curve ball just below the k
ease and Marsh is a board to start this urban and.

Speaker 17 (54:40):
Second block issued by Snell, and that'll bring Otto Kemp
to the plate, starting in his first ever Major League
of playoff game. The rookie twenty six year old undrafted
free agent from Fullerton, California. Snell's pitch and then he
takes outside.

Speaker 1 (55:01):
Ball along I and anto, who can get a little
bit long and maybe a little bit aggressive at times,
trying to stay patient here and that who you're gonna
do him?

Speaker 22 (55:10):
And he said it to himself when he went back
down after the first time, like I just I got
to just play.

Speaker 1 (55:15):
My game, not try and do too much. Want to
know the count.

Speaker 17 (55:18):
Snell ready at the letters to pitch, swing in a
mess and there's a change up there. They fooled him,
kept faced. Blake Snell back at Dodger Stadium, struck out
twice against it. He did not have a great series.
There had tons of friends and family and attendance, and
you know he's got a lot of them watching back

(55:38):
home in Southern California.

Speaker 1 (55:40):
The one one taken down and in two on.

Speaker 22 (55:47):
Those are the kind of pitchers he just As a hitter,
they've got to be able to be patient up there
and not expect just because you're behind in the if
there's a hitter you're heading account.

Speaker 1 (55:56):
Don't think you're just going to get a fastball down
the middle.

Speaker 17 (55:58):
White batting gloves both hands for I don't Kemp who
waits on the right side the two to one and
he takes inside.

Speaker 1 (56:05):
Oh my goodness, that's all the strike by Adrian Johnson
not a good ball. Oh, that's just how do you
it's terrible.

Speaker 22 (56:19):
Absolutely, that's a huge difference in a ballgame. You call
if you miss a pitch that bad. And that's the
inside corner and that's where his head is. There's no
way he thinks that's a strike. If it is, he
shouldn't be onthing.

Speaker 17 (56:32):
Two balls, two strikes. Snell is ready. He kicks the pitch,
swing and as he struck him out back through a
breaking ball there and Kemp strikes out. That's number four
around the second time through the order. A part of

(56:53):
that strike out is for Adrian Johnson too. Here's true
Turner now zero for six since coming off the injured list,
going back to last Sunday.

Speaker 1 (57:07):
Snell is ready.

Speaker 17 (57:08):
He delivers the pitch is taken outside ball on Snell,
who's sort of freeze frames looking in and every time
sort of shakes his head almost as where he's expecting
Johnson to call it.

Speaker 1 (57:22):
That was well off the plate shortly for marsh at
first the one oh Turner a swing and a mess
and that want to change up away and.

Speaker 17 (57:33):
That's a pitch that he will get right handers to
go after over and over again. Next pitch will be
number forty for Blake Snell. Here in the third inning,
no score, one out, one on and the one one
pitch swighing at a mess weather change. I mean, he
just doesn't miss that spot. It's on the edge of

(57:55):
every single pitch or off the plate when it's a
change up wrong. And I think the point I was like,
I throw him anything else. One ball and two strikes.
Snell that's ready to pitch swing out as change up
in the dirt.

Speaker 1 (58:15):
He didn't want to throw him anything else, and he
didn't need to.

Speaker 28 (58:24):
Vibes drike out to here with three outs from the third,
only three balls put in play so far.

Speaker 17 (58:31):
Schwarbers pop out, Holmes ground out, and jt with the
ground to the shore, no score. Bottom of the third inning.
You're at Citizens Bank Park, lead off mad A board's
stilled over there at first base. Snell's first pitch to
Schwarber and it's down at away ball one. Schwarberd twenty
one lifetime postseason hovers the next one little tie for

(58:52):
third place on the all time list with Bernie Williams.
He's hoping it comes sooner rather than later now with
the throw of it at first is the casual toss
and Marsh easily.

Speaker 1 (59:07):
Back on the back. One hit in this game so
far Tillie Brodgon Rooky Betts one ball and no stripes.

Speaker 17 (59:22):
Alfield playing to pull against Schwarber and a pitch. It's
taken when it's the strike right on the inside corner,
fastball one on one.

Speaker 1 (59:34):
Over the final thirty five games to the regular season,
Kyle hit one two.

Speaker 17 (59:41):
How many games thirty five well, with eleven home runs.
It loft at his ops to eight twenty the pitch
and he takes rolls two on one count out for Schwarb.

(01:00:05):
You will field the pull, outfield the pull as well,
ringman on the bag holding Marsh. The two to one
pitch taken. It's a straight.

Speaker 1 (01:00:15):
It's that breaking ball over at the knees and he's
come into his own a few more.

Speaker 17 (01:00:19):
Times than normal with that breaking ball. Yep, he had
one to Harper, He's got one here to Schwarby. And
now with the count two and two, Snell has the pickoff.
He does the first, Marsh is going to throw down
the second.

Speaker 16 (01:00:35):
And he is out.

Speaker 17 (01:00:38):
One, three, six to put out at second base, and
that'll do it for the Phillies will lead off, walk
and nothing more.

Speaker 1 (01:00:44):
Nobody laughed, and we're through three innings.

Speaker 17 (01:00:46):

about what about saying what ACCESSMC, but you trust protect that.

Speaker 34 (01:07:42):
I'm sad to ask a trust protector. Bull estate, you'll
qualified money. Your IRA's your f one case. Your other investments.
For example, avoid capital games. Let's say you buy a
house for one hundred thousand dollars. In one year later
that hause appreciation some one million dollars. That's a nine
hundred dollar I'm not a capital game.

Speaker 7 (01:08:01):
You appointed that with a trust. Attention business owners. Attention
business owners.

Speaker 34 (01:08:07):
Over three day games of experience, you gotta find out

Speaker 34 (01:08:21):
You want to give him some praise because we all
need somebody to lead the home and the show is
good when somebody is leaning back.

Speaker 7 (01:08:27):
That's my threat and I'm thinking with it. Yeah, I'm like,
you're taking it. That's what I'm thinking with it. I'm
thinking with it. I love giving that praise. Peck saying
you want to talk about praise. You want to talk
about a trust. I got a friend to met DoD
just for seven years. Now, why would trust the artc
to you?

Speaker 34 (01:08:46):
Well, I've got you asked, because facts tell and stories sell.
We had the endurancements of some great people like the
late James Gomez. You know he advised for California governors
and let the chains in California nursy homes. He also
served on Golden West Board of Directors for twenty one years,
and he was the CEO of the Californian Association Health Facilities.

(01:09:13):
But not only that, he told me, he said, young man,
if you can show me how to treat of these
long term care and titaments out of.

Speaker 7 (01:09:20):
Endorsia where Ray showed him. He endorsed the me.

Speaker 34 (01:09:24):
He endorsed the r DC team. But not only that,
we had to lead Robert crofton that. He was the
top legal counselor at Calipers. You know, Calipur is one
of the largest employers in California. In California the world's
force clods of the economy behind the United States, there's China,
there's England, and then this California.

Speaker 7 (01:09:45):
And he endorsed the r DC team. But not only that.

Speaker 34 (01:09:48):
We have President Jamis Brownie into LACP San Francisco branch.
Now he gave the benediction a vice president of the
United States and Kamala Harris at the d Sea in Chicago.

Speaker 7 (01:10:02):
And before that he actually had lunch with the lad
doctor bart Luther King Jr.

Speaker 34 (01:10:06):
They were arrested for trying to have lunch at a
White Tony restaurant in the South and the man of
the three in the Home of the Braids. Now we
know scopas underseased by the federal government. Who would have
ever thought that the country would be under attacks by
the country?

Speaker 7 (01:10:22):
Does that make sense? Have we locked our minds?

Speaker 34 (01:10:27):
How does a thirty four time to make that selling
send the National Guard in the cities to get rid
of criminals. Isn't that something All you have to do
is look in the mirror if you have thirty four convictions,
that's a clue. Eamon Brown was arrested for trying to
have decency, but you know where it was two months

(01:10:47):
before it gets the fit addiction. So vice president of
Kamala Harris, he was on Faxy Sports. He's at Big Sea.
You need asset protection. You gotta protect your assets.

Speaker 7 (01:10:57):
I said, I do with the RDC team. But not
only in that.

But not only that, we have Attonia Scott Tibbooh that
he's one of the topest state planners in asset protection
in California and he endorses the RDC team. But not

top Bobby As at the State Capitol of California. He's
also a pastor and he endorses the RDC team. But
not only that, we have missus Cheryl Brown that he's
the chair of the California Department of AISI you can't
get it bigger.

Speaker 7 (01:11:41):
And do it than that, and she endorses the RDC team.

Speaker 34 (01:11:46):
But not only that, he has Allis Dela Cruze that
he's a founder of American Veteran Benefics.

Speaker 7 (01:11:52):
They can sure vetter of us get their benefics. And
he endorses the RDC team. But not only in that,
we have Ray de la Cruz.

Speaker 34 (01:12:00):
He's the president of Research DEVELOPIC of to Lenique and
conjuncts him with the all the top attorneys that he's
worked with and been doing this thing over thirty five years.

Speaker 7 (01:12:10):
And he endorses the RDC team by that governments and book.
But not only that the FB.
