In this episode of Bring the Pain, Dan and I are itching for some fights, but since we have the NFL playoffs this weekend, we decided to talk about that. Of course, we'll be tempted to talk about UFC 324, but we don't want to spoil what we have in store. With the Rams starting the weekend and the Steelers ending it on Monday, this show could get out of hand, but you can expect bets and even the Macho ick of the week. Buckle up because we're about to slay it this weekend. Have a great day, everyone, and may the points be with us.

Thank you for the support and contributions all of you make for my podcasts and articles each week. Y'all the real #Painbringers!

Speaker 1 (00:01):
That'll happen.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Get out the insurance cards, get out the copays. The
office is open, my friends, frop to you by.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
So let's get to it. What's up everybody at teetover
Ride and I'm ready to bring the purn for you
and doctor Rodo this week. Yeah, it's a new year.
It's the first fight Club of Pain of the new year.

(00:36):
How are you doing today? Dan?

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Doing good?

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Doing good?

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Man? Feeling good?

Speaker 1 (00:40):
That's good. That's good man. We are fifteen minutes late
starting because we had great technical difficulties with the streams
Yard stuff. So sorry for everybody that's gonna be popping in,
running in, getting ready, getting wild man. But you know,
there's always something that's trying to come at us, Dan,
it's always trying to stop the fight club paint. If

(01:01):
it ain't fan duel, a draft King, it's Streameyard.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Yeah, it's something. It's always something, man.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
What's up, Steve? How you doing today? Man? You ready
to win some money this weekend? You ready for another
ultra contrarian show, bro.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
I'm ready for it's going on with Steve.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
So so, of course, as everybody knows, the fight come
up paint covers the UFC yes, we will be talking
about UFC three twenty four, but we are covering, as
you can see, the twenty twenty six playoffs that will
include this year's Fantasy Football twenty twenty six Awards. I
will give out my awards, my picks, and the reasons

(01:41):
why I feel that these players got it short and sweet.
I'm also going to give my top five for each
position in Best Ball, I will give out yeah, I know, right, Steve.
I will give out my defense top five for Best Ball,
so that you have at least a chance for you know,
the DFS slates on that end as well, so you

(02:03):
get your defense now. And then of course the Ultra
Contrarian Show, You'll have to catch that with Steve and
I so that you can get the actual lineups. So
I'm not going to be giving out any lineups on
in this I will be giving out bets. I will
only give out three parlays and those bets. Of course,
you will get eighteen bets for this show. I will

(02:25):
also be giving out my bracket for the entire I
thought about waiting, but I will give out my bracket
for the entire playoff scenario to see who's going to
win the Super.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Bowl, Dad, I got my bracket too. I got my
bracket too, brother.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Yeah no, man, you Raven and Steeler fans is getting
in it. But John Harbaugh being fired, Dan, did he
deserve it?

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Hell no, He's one of the best coaches in the league. Man.
As much as I hate as much as I hate
the Steelers playing against him, he is a great, great coach.
What's going on with Tillman?

Speaker 1 (03:04):
What's up? What's up? Tillman? I agree. I think it
was like, you know, I saw one of my the
Brand was a bench warmer. Brand made a thing and
he was doing the the the Grim Reapers, the Coach's Graveyard,
and he was like, all right, who's getting picked right?
And he gets right to he gets to John Harbaugh
and he goes, wait, man, you're not axed yet. He

(03:24):
was like, well, I'm acting now, And then they did.
He did Mike McDaniel, and he was like he went
back to John Harbaugh and he goes, why am I
getting a call from Miami? And then he goes back
to the other guy. Dude, dude, Harbaugh. There's speculation that
he'll end up in New York and now that we
have Miami open, I mean I know that you may

(03:47):
have not looked at the eight teams that are open.
I mean Vegas is open.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Cleveland, Yeah, his parents are from Cleveland.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
You know what. I've been listening to the all day
and I've not heard somebody.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
Say that his parents live in Cleveland. His parents go
to Cleveland Browns games every year. Why wouldn't he coach
for that team?

Speaker 1 (04:10):
That is that is actually it. Plus, he's stepping into
a learning curve with shadur He still has Deshaun Watson
on the roster. He's got two star running backs. Well
you could say one star Judkins, you have Samson. Both
compliment each other. Well, you have a Urine Young, you
have a great wide receiver core. Now I'm not gonna

(04:32):
say great. Okay, don't let let me just rephrase that.
You have aid that could improve in the off season.
But Tillman fell flat. Your tight ends are perfect. They
could let Nujuko go, and you have one of the
best defenses in the NFL.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Right, I mean think about it. It makes sense for
him to end up in Cleveland.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
And what if he brought in somebody like Tyreek Hill, then.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
I think he runs with Deshaun Watson. I'm not gonna
buy to you.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
I agree with the Deshaun Watson pick. It'll be Deshaun Watson, Quinn,
Shawn Jenkins, and it's gonna be Tyreek Hill. In Cleveland,
people are like, what's this guy talking about. I'm saying
that that's a possibility. If Harvard goes, he's gonna know
that team's gonna need a number one wide receiver and
he'll probably get Tyreek Hill really cheap. I know he's
coming off an injury, but he'll be fine, he'll be good,

(05:27):
but you can slop him in and then you still
have Judy there. Judy's definitely a veteran, definitely good. So
if you had Tyreek Hill, Judy Fannon, whatever you do
with njuco Sampson, Jenkins, Watson, Sanders Learning, I think that's
a perfect setup for John Harper.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
I love to make it happens.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
You know, as funny as Jeff was talking, he goes,
Tomlin's gonna get fired after this week, and then he's
gonna get hired by the Ravens, and then.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
The Ravens we're gonna hire Harball. He's gonna Swiss coaches.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
Swiss coaches, Yeah, just trade coaches. They didn't have to
go through this game. They could have literally just traded
the coaches and just been about their way. I like it, though,
it's it's it's it's a funny little thing. But now
you know, when you see Mike McDaniel get fired, and
it was funny because I think I've just seen about
a day or two ago he was like, yeah, man,
we're about to turn this ship around. We're gonna be great,

(06:27):
and I'm like.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
Well, my thing about him, I think Arthur Smith is
gonna be the new head coach of the Titans because
they're calling about they're calling Pittsburgh about him right now.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
I also think Mike McDaniel is the Steelers next offensive coordinator.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Woh oh. I like that. I like that. But you
know there's a after May who just fired their offensive coordinator. Well,
the the lines did, so the lines also need somebody there.
So I could see McDaniels go into Detroit as well too.
But I do like your theory too, so I like
all of that. I think it's great for McDaniels to

(07:08):
step back and then do that and then come in.
I mean, fight o, Steve. If you're in there and
you got an idea about that too, being on one
of the staff members at Doctor Rhoda, What do you
think about that? I mean, that is crazy. It's all
about Oh, it's all about live Mike. What's up? Yeah,
he's got that, he's got this. Yeah. So of course

(07:29):
we're gonna have some fun with this this today. So
you get you, We're gonna all of course, we're gonna
go through the entire card. It was kind of back
and forth because I didn't want to give all of
you what we're gonna do in two weeks on the
fight public Paine and I think that's fair. But at
the same time, we can still talk a little bit
about these fights and everything. What's up Frandish among whatever

(07:50):
it is.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
Let's just call you Simpson, go pad go Hey. I agree, Bro,
I agree. I want to see a Steeler Packers super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
You know, okay, come on now, you guys are trying
to like have this Aaron Rod, you know how much
people to happen. Everybody would hate that that happened. They
were like, Rogers beats the Steelers, Rogers takes the Steelers
to beat the bugs. Oh, I'm like, what are you doing, man?
You can't be doing this stuff that would be killed.

(08:22):
But then your team would lose and you would be
like a man, screw Aaron Rodgers, unless.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
You feel like, yeah, but they still win because Aaron
Rodgers is still that team's quarterback. Man, he's still If
you think Aaron Rodgers, he's thinking of Packers.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
Yeah yeah, yeah yeah dude. Okay, So could you imagine
how how, how how vomiting it would become, how nauseated
you would become. You're on that storyline for two weeks.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
I'm a Steeler fan. I would love it.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
Yeah, yeah, man, I agree, man, that that would be
I mean, there is a way. And I am also
going to be giving out my my pick.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
So you know what, that's not my pick. I'm just
saying that would be. That would be a good thing.
I would enjoy that. Rat.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
Well, let's let's start it up with some picks. You know,
let's just get right into it. You know, of course
we'll have the best ball we'll have. I'll have the
bets too, so everybody just stay right in there and
get it in. So let's go. First game that we're
gonna cover or talk about Chargers. First Patriots in New England.
Who do you have winning and is there a reason

(09:35):
for it.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
I got the I got the Patriots beating the Chargers. Man,
I just don't. I don't think that Chargers defense has
what it takes to stop the Patriots offense.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
All right, and that is there. I'll say that I'm
not gonna be one of the guys to go pick
on the Patriots' schedule and everything like that. Right now,
I'm gonna look at the team. The Patriots defense was
one of the better defenses all year long. However, the
Chargers defense has been amazing all year long. So when
I did the so when I did my top ti
my last week, when I did my top Defenses article,

(10:12):
the Chargers were ranked fourth in the leagues. Of course
against yards against New England is seven. So this game
is gonna be one of those games that's gonna knuckle down,
be hard to get through. I could see a twenty
to sixteen game. This could be a twenty to sixteen game.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
Yeah, I'm saying seventeen.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
Fourteen, seventeen fourteen, that's about it. Right now, we're gonna
go check out go We're gonna go check the number
on that too. Because I like to do everything kind
of crazy. I mean, as you can see, we're gonna
start with the Chargers. We're not starting with the Rams.
I don't want to start with the Rams. The Rams
start the weekend. Go Rams and Steelers in the weekend,
Go Steelers. So they're same the forty six point five.

(10:56):
So I've got the game right now. I just what
I just said was twenty to sixteen. That's thirty six points.
They think another ten points is scored in this game.
So if I'm gonna go with that, I'm gonna probably
go twenty four to twenty. I still think that this
game goes under. Do you think it goes under the
forty six point five?

Speaker 2 (11:15):
I go, I think it goes under. Yes, I I.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
Agree with that one as well too, because I mean
these are the two of the top seven.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
Go.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
Well, this is of course going into week eighteen, so
after week eighteen, some of this may have changed. So
I haven't updated my stats yet because well it just
ended and I'm done, so I'm I'm just focusing on
the best ball, the UFC and the DFS. So we're
gonna that's so these these numbers that I'm gonna be
going off of that it just went off of, were

(11:46):
the after week seventeen what I had posted to the
site last Friday. So that being said, I think it
goes under and my pick is actually the Chargers and
this will all come to fruition, and the reason being
is Chargers move on. Chargers most likely could end up

(12:06):
going to Denver. Now, if the Chargers go to Denver,
that's a divisional game. This is something that's going that's
kind of the idea I'm kind of going with with
buy bracket. So there's a little story to it. But
I feel that I don't want to take anything away
from New England, but I feel that the Chargers defense
can lock them down good enough. I think the Chargers

(12:26):
linebackers are good enough and aggressive enough to be able
to take both Hender Henry and Austin Hooper out of
the game. I know that people talk about the running
game of Remondra Stevenson and of course rookie sensation Treveon Henderson,
but I just don't think you're gonna they're gonna be
able to consistently run against that defense. Again, there's been

(12:47):
a lot of people that have been covered on that
defense all season long.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
You're forgetting about one person, You're forgetting about the MVP.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Drake May dude, d league, it's gonna be Matt's bro,
It's gonna be Matt Stafford.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
It's gonna be I mean Stafford lost it against the Seahawks.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
Yeah, yeah, I think yeah, I dare you said that
last week too, and I think that's fair. I think
that's fair. But being a Rams Homer fan and then
still looking at that one oh nine quarterback breaking, you know,
for me, it's still I'm gonna lean Stafford.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
You know, I hope it's Stafford. Don't get me wrong,
I hope it's Stafford. I don't like the Patriots. I'm
a Steelers fan, I know, but that kid is good Man,
that kid is good.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
He is good, and I think that he can he
can definitely beat the Chargers. This is one of the
upsets that I'm going to take right now because for me,
with the Chargers being able, Herbert can move the ball.
I know, people talk about that they have two great
running backs too, and New England has Again, They're only
in the top ten because of their case schedule. They

(14:01):
literally had an easy schedule, so that now that I
will use that now because if they actually played the
schedule like the Chargers if they actually had to play
a team like I mean, they played the Bills twice,
all right, we know that.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
They lost the Pittsburgh. They lost to Pittsburgh.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
They did, they did, and and the Chargers had to
put up with the Chiefs. The Chargers had to put
up Wellton, you know, until you know Homes went down,
but they still had to put up with them. They
had to put up with Bonix and the Denver Broncos.
And nobody really cares about the Raiders. But regardless whatever,
when you look at the strength of schedule, they've just

(14:39):
been more battle tested. So for me, when I look
at a game that's going to be close, a defensive
game that that's going to be close, and I still
like the secondary and the Chargers to be able to
handle the secondary for the New England Patriots because again
a lot of them are inexperienced other than Diggs. So
for me, I'm with it. I'm picking the Chargers, bro,

(15:02):
That's how I'm doing it.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
I'm going Pats.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
All right, let's flip over to the NFC, because we're
gonna do this. I want to make it to where
it's kind of like Rams and Pittsburgh last So green
Bay versus Chicago. I know Packer fan Iowa is gonna
be waiting for this game. Dude, who do you got winning?

Speaker 3 (15:26):
I got green Bay going into Chicago and stopping their season. Man,
I got green Bay winning that game.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
And I agree with you as well too. I agree
with you because I feel that Chicago, although being one
of the better offenses this year and having a great
solid defense, the Packers defense fell apart a minute. Yea,
So now we're looking at a game that's possibly become
a shootout. Now, Chicago does have a great secondary and

(15:56):
they but honestly, there's so many people to guard for
the past read Watson, you got Dobbs, then you got
Wicks out the backfield. They do like to throw the
ball to Jacobs. Jacobs is a threat to run the ball,
and the Bears really one of the best defenses against
start stopping that run. So for me, I'm gonna look

(16:16):
at that, like, dude, I can go through this thing.
And I haven't wrote the Chicago Bears on my top
defense all year long, well yeah, especially in the last
few weeks. So at the same time, when you look
at that, Jacobs becomes a factor. Now Jacobs had two
pitiful games against the Bears. I think one was like
maybe five point six on DK and then or whatever

(16:37):
he scoring format is, and maybe the other one was
like six or seven or eight. The thing is that
the Bears still have to respect Josh Jacobs and the
Packers are still going to give Josh Jacobs the ball.
Do you agree with a lot of that? And where
do you think? I do?

Speaker 3 (16:52):
But I trust Green Bays quarterback Jordan Love more than
I trust Williams at this at this point in their careers, man,
I don't. I don't think Williams has the experience to
win in the playoffs.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
I really don't. It's a it's a different it's a
different animal to play in the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (17:12):
It is, and I think it's so at times, even
though how gifted Williams is, I see sometimes I don't
see emotion, But with Love, I do see that sometimes,
And I do agree with your your analysis of Love.
How he's the more seasoned he's that he just should
he's been in this situation, so now he just needs

(17:34):
to push it forward. And I love the way that
the Packers are going to be able to spread that
ball around. So therefore they're coming in, they've been a
little they they they've got some rest on their team.
I feel that they're going to come in and win
this game. I do too, Man, that and a lot
of people look at that as an upset, and I
look at it as you know, the Bears got lucky

(17:55):
on a few wins. This could have this could have
very well been the Packers Division. So for me, that's
how we're gonna go. All right, let's stay in the NFC.
Let's drop down to one of the hardest games to
predict this week, and that is the San Francisco forty
nine Ers versus the Philadelphia Eagles in Philly, Dan, who

(18:19):
do you got winning this game?

Speaker 3 (18:21):
And this is one of those games it's hard to pick, man,
but you cannot bet against the man that played in
two Super Bowls back to back.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
Jalen Hurts makes it happen in the playoffs. Man, I
got Philadelphia winning.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
So I do agree with that. And I'm going to
pick the San Francisco forty nine Ers because I feel
that outside of last game with Perty, which party and
then they just had a bad game against a very
good Seattle defense. I mean, I've seen that happen to
other players too this year. But I think this game
becomes down to Christian McCaffrey. Can the Eagles consistently stop

(18:58):
Christian McCaffrey could ask that about the Pounders.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
Can Philly or can San Francisco stop? Uh? You know
Nicko Sakon Barkley himself, so they stop the touch.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
Push, No you can't. So you know that being said,
I like where you're going with that, because this is
going to be another dread, dread game. This is going
to be another trench runner. This is gonna be another
game that's gonna be one you know. After offensive line,
we have a point total of forty four point five.

(19:35):
So that's right there, a twenty four to twenty game.
I actually think that's a great score for this This
this game right here, I can easily so when I
look at it, I can see all right. So I
will give you this. I'm a point guy, and I
think the forty nine ers would kick two field goals,
So then that would automatically say that the forty nine

(19:56):
ers score two touchdowns, two field goals, The forty nine
ers have twenty points. The Eagles, I always feel that
they like they can score more. That'll give you the
twenty four points the way I'm going to look at
the addition, the Eagles are going to win that game. However,
I feel that this game is going to slow down
and that Kittle is going to be a problem, and

(20:16):
that the forty nine ers are going to be able
to beat them in the end through how much Christian
McCaffer gets the ball in this game. And I think
that they definitely want to move on. And I know
that the NFC West was one of the best divisions
all year long. So all three of those teams can

(20:37):
win the Super Bowl, and all three of those teams
have played each other and are all battle tested. So
that's why I'm taking And I'm not saying the Eagles
aren't battle tested, but this might be.

Speaker 2 (20:49):
This might be year three for them in the Super Bowl.
You never, we never know, so you are You're right.
I can't go against the team. They want to same team.

Speaker 3 (21:01):
I mean, they lost, they lost very few players, super
Bowl champs. Man, I can't go against him. I think
I think Philly moves off.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
Yep, Hey, I love it. I'm gonna I'm just going
with the forty nine Ers just because I feel that
that's it and I'm done with the Eagles, and I
don't want to see the Eagles in the Rams again.
Don't mind me, but that's what I honestly think. I
think the Rams do beat the Eagles if they do
end up facing the Eagles. I think that this time
the Eagles cannot They are not going to be able

(21:32):
to stop that passing offense. Sean McVay is right now
clicking on all cylinders with his play calling. The only
thing that really seems to stop the Rams is pick six.
Is interceptions in the red zone. And of course you
know those games that Stafford has had, those games that
where he's throw multiple interceptions. Carolina, who they face this week, Yeah,

(21:53):
that game against them as well too, and we can
were close to winning that game. Same way with Seattle.
Seattle was able to pick him off and they will be.
That's how the Rams lost the number one position and
the ability to not have a week off. So you know,
for me, that's the way we're gonna go with that.
But let's let's get you got anything else to say
about this game before we go on.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
No, No, that that this is probably that was probably
the toughest game to pick in this weekend.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
I agree, I I did not want to pick that,
and I know my buddy Keith is like, I don't
even want to. He goes, I know we're gonna end
up facing the Niners or the Rams, and I don't
want to face either one of them. So that's kind
of one of my thing, is that where I'm looking
at where hey, I'm looking at people. Eagles fans are scared.
There's a reason why San Francisco could lose, but I

(22:40):
think that overall that they might be able to outlast
the Eagles and send that boring ass team home, regardless
of how many times there have been to the Super Bowl.
I know you want your Stegels, you want your Stegeles
super Bowl Man, I.

Speaker 2 (22:55):
Know, Actually, actually I don't. I don't. I don't. I
got I got, I got a good Super Bowl pick man.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
All right, well, let's get let's move along. Let's move along.
Let's flip back to the AFC Buffalo versus Jaguars. Who
do you got winning?

Speaker 2 (23:14):
I got Buffalo going in there and just ragged all
in the Jags.

Speaker 1 (23:18):
Man.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
I think it's uh Josh Allen's time to show what
he's worth because he has nobody else in the playoffs, right,
now he is the big name in the AFC.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
This that rate there alone is exactly why I have
the Bills winning this game as well too. Now people go, look,
we're looking at two top ten defenses again, right, people know,
like the Bills have been getting tore up a little bit.
But remember people, the Bills also faced some really good opponents.

(23:51):
You know, they had to face New England twice and
they got him. They split that. They also faced the Eagles,
so you know that rate there, and they could have
won that game. They could have tied that game, or
they could have won with the two point conversion. They
ended up losing. But that game alone showed that you

(24:12):
could have a disastrous game, like Josh Allen could have
a disastrous game, and he can. The team's still in
it to try to win that game. And I think
that that defense is going to be able to lock
up the the Jaguars because Trevor Lawrence, what do you
what do you think about the way do you like
the way that they go on?

Speaker 3 (24:34):
I think if you rattle Trevor Lawrence, then he goes
back to his real self and starts throwing the interceptions
and fumbling and making bad decisions with the ball.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
You have to rattle that man.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
Yeah, you have to make them scared in the pocket.

Speaker 1 (24:50):
I agree with that as well too. I want to
say that they need to figure out what they want
to do with Travis atn because sometimes they want to
run them, sometimes they want to throw him the ball.
If they throw him the ball, I feel that they
have a chance against Buffalo. Now, Buffalo's run defense has
been a little porous. There's been a lot of running
backs that have been able to get off on him,

(25:11):
which is why I think at And can be a
key in this game. But I feel that they're going
to try to exploit him in the running game, and
then they're going to try to go to the other guys,
and what might happen is that they're going to make
the wrong decisions and the Bills are going to be
able to rattle Lawrence and get to him, and then
the Josh Allen factor. I also think too. Here's a

(25:33):
thing and a lot of people are forgetting about this.
He's been using Brandon Cooks, he's been using Branding Cooks.
He's been getting a lot of time, he's been getting
targets now and it's almost like because he's a veteran,
Josh is trusting him. Have you seen a little bit
as well too.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
Yeah, I mean Cookes is a bad man. We got
to give him these flowers right now. He's a bad man.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
But yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
They've been using them the last few games anyway they can.

Speaker 1 (26:05):
Yeah, and he made a great sideline catch as well too,
So that's another two is and they kind of played
around with Keon Coleman. But the problem is is Coleman
reminds me of Pickens, you know, a couple of years ago,
when Pickens was kind of like still trying to figure
out how to make those catches on the sideline, those
NFL throws. So I feel that that you and I

(26:25):
like Keon Coleman. For me, I'm gonna go with the veteran.
You got Shakira over the middle already. You can move those.
You can both move Cooks in, Shakir in and out.
Nobody ever knows what's going on with Dalton King kid,
but Knox fills in just perfectly. So I agree with
you that the Buffalo Bills win this game. All right,

(26:50):
let's get to the next Let's get to the next
two games. We'll go with the Rams first, they start
with the week Rams versus Carolina. Who do he got winning? Man?

Speaker 3 (27:00):
I got the Rams going in there and just pouncing
on the Panthers. I don't think the Panthers deserve to
be in the playoffs. I think they just snuck in.
They're literally the worst team in the playoffs. And the
Rams kind of get a lay up this week.

Speaker 1 (27:15):
I think they do. This might be the easiest game
to pick because the Rams have seen them. The Rams
would have beat them, of course. I know, people, Hey,
Panthers won. If Stafford has that same game again and
the Rams lose, then they deserve that. They deserve that
because right now they are clearly wide open going to
blow them out.

Speaker 2 (27:37):
Yeah, I mean, I mean, there's nothing else I could say.
The Rams are. I think the Rams win by like
two touchdowns.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
So and here's here's the Here's so the game has
marked forty six point five. So for me, I'm going
Rams twenty seven and Panthers twenty. Rams went by touchdown.
Rams are up twenty seven to thirteen. In the fourth quarter,
when Carolina makes the drive gets the touchdown back to

(28:07):
the Rams. Rams all control kill the clock, end of game,
so they.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
Get a garbage time touchdown.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, be close.

Speaker 2 (28:19):
Yeah, they got the guard, they get the garbage time touchdown, gotcha.

Speaker 1 (28:25):
That's what I'm gonna give it on that one. So,
I mean, I gotta say, like the Rams running game
already proved it could run. And DeVonta Adams is coming back.
He's fresh, he looked good and warm ups. They kept
him out of that for the playoffs. That's where that
extra week would work so well. So he's gonna come
in here and the Rams gonna be clicking on old cylinders.
They also were able to check out Mumfield and Smith

(28:49):
both stepped up big time to to at Well, dropping
a long ball that he could have scored with.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
And they got the best receiver in the league. Man,
you got Pooping Nakula, best receiver in the league.

Speaker 1 (29:04):
Yeah. When you talk about the best, you have to
be the Greens to the Rise, to the and the Buco.
He's the mean. I love it, man. I didn't even
want to talk about this game much because we already
know Rams are winning. I gave you the pick. We

(29:26):
got you Texans verse Steeler in the Steel City on
Monday night. You guys have never lost a Monday Night
game under Cower or Tomlin. Is this the first time
you guys lose?

Speaker 2 (29:40):
No.

Speaker 3 (29:40):
I think Houston comes in here and thinking they're just
gonna whoop us with that defense. But Aaron Rodgers is
playing on another level these last couple of games. He
hasn't had DK metcalf. We get DK back. The only
person we're missing is Mount Washington in the middle. But
we still got Friar Mooth. I mean we still got

(30:03):
smith yep, I don't know. And that Houston defense gets
picked apart by a lot of tight ends.

Speaker 1 (30:12):
Yeah, go ahead.

Speaker 3 (30:15):
And I don't see any linebacker that Houston has that
can cover.

Speaker 2 (30:21):
Game will, So yeah, that's.

Speaker 1 (30:25):
That's gonna be, of course the key. Here's another thing.
Jalen Warren missed practice today because he was feeling sick again. Yeah,
now we're getting a rebuttal of that. Now he's not
still Monday. He'll play, he'll be fine. I'm sure he's
gonna be jacked up in all that stuff by Monday.
This is the lowest point total of the entire weekend. Well,

(30:46):
I mean it's Monday, so we're just gonna still say
it's wildcar weekend, right, thirty eight point five, where do
you think the points fall.

Speaker 2 (30:57):
I think I think that's about right. I think about
right twenty seventeen, yeah, about twenty seventeen, twenty eighteen.

Speaker 1 (31:07):
Yeah, never know, that's that's and and people forget that now. TJ.
Watt is back. He was you know, he's still recovering
that game last against the Ravens. You're chasing Lamar Jackson,
You're gonna look snow slow.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
So he had an interception.

Speaker 1 (31:26):
He did, Dude, that was so beautiful.

Speaker 3 (31:28):
I was like, he had an interception. And I don't
think that offensive line of Houston man Cam Hayward is
playing out.

Speaker 2 (31:38):
Of his mind right now. I can't.

Speaker 1 (31:43):
Okay. I highlighted Cam Hayward on my IDP pick up
weeks ago, weeks ago, and I said, you need a player,
a defensive tackle that may not get all the sacks
that you want, but constantly gets tackles, and Cam Hayward
is the guy for you. And I literally said that.

(32:05):
I mean, how how amazing has he been playing the
last few weeks?

Speaker 2 (32:08):
Yeah, he's been playing crazy? Did you see him chasing Lamar? Uh?
What's this base? The first first run of the game
last week? You'ree Yeah, he.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
Got because he got rolled up on but he was
like to do catch him.

Speaker 2 (32:24):
I thought he was going to catch him.

Speaker 1 (32:26):
I thought he was. If Derek Hevry would have got
caught by Cam Hayward, I think Darren Harringonry would have
had some problems that day because I'm like, what are
you dude? You are correct? But check this out people, right,
So over the past, over the past. Now, if you
want to go fantasy football, you go Fantasy Football playoffs.

(32:47):
Week fifteen, five tackles, one sack. Week sixteen, four tackles,
one sack. What would be your Super Bowl five tackles?
In the game against Baltimore, he had seven tackles. That's
seven five four, five, five, eight, three five six. I
suggested him before that eight because of this reason and

(33:12):
the fact that you brought him up and how he's
been playing exactly shows sometimes how hot streaks and the
numbers the lie.

Speaker 2 (33:22):
I mean, he's been playing out of his mind. Alex
Hodg Smith's been playing at a high level too. Uh.

Speaker 3 (33:27):
These last couple of games, I don't know. The only
thing I'm scared about is that secondary. But I heard
Deshaun Elliott's coming back, Shawn If Deshaun Elliott's back. I
got no worries at all with that secondary and we
got the best lockdown corner in the league of JPJ
Junior j JPJ is the best, but by Pro Football Focus,

(33:51):
he is the best lockdown corner in the league.

Speaker 2 (33:53):
I like that.

Speaker 1 (33:54):
I like that a lot man And and you know
that thing. Now you're making me go check up Elliott.
We're gonna we're gonna see I mean, right now it
says he's out for season. Though says he's out for season.
So unless unless, and I don't see any news, but
if there's speculation I haven't caught yet, then yeah, maybe

(34:14):
come back.

Speaker 2 (34:15):
He's tweeting, he's tweeting stuff out and everything like uh.
He had a he had a picture of himself on
the football field and that said wait till Monday.

Speaker 1 (34:25):
There it is. And right now as it stands, like
I said, the stats have it like this. This is
what they got him. But you know what, this is
why players play the game. And A and A player
liked to saw on Elliott one of my favorite safeties
in the league for the past few seasons. Recommended see safety.
That is exactly the guy that we need. You guys

(34:46):
need to get back. However, you're picking the Steelers.

Speaker 2 (34:50):
Oh, I'm picking the Steelers, man, I can't pick against them.
It's it's in Pittsburgh on a Monday night. It's our
first home playoff game in front of fan since twenty eighteen.
That place is gonna be nuts.

Speaker 1 (35:05):
I agree with that. Unfortunately, I'm a tune and I'm
picking the Houston Texans.

Speaker 2 (35:11):
Well, I take my pick back. The Panthers are gonna
beat their Rams, then.

Speaker 1 (35:19):
Look, there is a pathway for the Steelers. The Steelers
can definitely cause problems for CJ. Stroud and CJ. Stroud honestly,
isn't one of those quarterbacks like Josh Allen that's gonna
beat you. So that alone gives the Steelers a chance.
The fact they're at home and everything bringing it in.
This was a really hard pick for me because I
feel like if I picked the Steelers, they're gonna lose.

(35:41):
Every time I picked the Steelers in the last eight games,
they lost. Every time I picked against the Steelers they won.

Speaker 2 (35:49):
So in a little way, I'm glad you're picking against
I'm glad.

Speaker 1 (35:54):
I'm saying I'm gonna pick against them. I'm gonna look
at the Houston Texans, and I'm to pick again. Did
you so you filled out your entire right?

Speaker 2 (36:03):
Yeah? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (36:05):
All right? So then the next matchup we got going
on is, let's say and and people this could be
all speculation with seeding Chargers versus Denver.

Speaker 2 (36:17):
Yeah, well I got Buffalo vers Denver because I had
the Chargers losing.

Speaker 1 (36:21):
Okay, all right, so you got Buffalo versus Denver. All right,
so who do you who do you got winning between
Buffalo and Denver?

Speaker 2 (36:29):
Uh? I got Buffalo beating Denver, and I think Buffalo
goes on.

Speaker 1 (36:38):
Yeah all right, well, I mean if it goes I
don't think that. I think they reseid. So if you
guys did win, then you guys would go to the Broncos.

Speaker 2 (36:48):
But we'll just play it well oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
we would go to the Broncos. They would go to
the Patriots. That's right. Yeah, yeah, I actually actually have that,
actually have that written down.

Speaker 1 (36:58):
Never mind, but regardless, this is how we're gonna get there.
It's kind of funny you said that, though, because honestly,
that little matchup you have, that's what I have in
the a f C Championship game. I do have the
Bills and the Broncos making it. I have the Bills
beating the Houston Texans. I have the Broncos beating the Chargers,
therefore setting up Denver versus the Bills. We'll just finish

(37:21):
the AFC right now. Who are the other picks you had?

Speaker 2 (37:24):
All right?

Speaker 3 (37:24):
So I got Buffalo beating the Patriots, and I got
the Steelers beating Denver, and I think it's going to
be Buffalo and Pittsburgh for the AFC Championship.

Speaker 1 (37:37):
Okay, and who wins Pittsburgh feeling the Super Bowl? Man,
you want to hear that scene. Here we go, Steelers,
here we go.

Speaker 2 (37:47):
I don't, I don't. None of these teams. None of
these teams in the AFC scared me this year.

Speaker 1 (37:53):
I mean, Bills are pretty scary, but they are they
are not untouchable.

Speaker 2 (37:58):
Yeah, we won't have to play them there, yeah yeah yeah.

Speaker 1 (38:03):
If they get beat, they're out. So I got Denver
and Buffalo, as I said, I have the Bills going
to the super Bowl for the AFC just kind of
the way it was set you said it earlier. It's
gonna be hard to beat, Josh Allen. I respect the
Steelers going to a lot of these AFC teams. If
you look at these six A, these seven AFC teams,

(38:26):
every one of them has been in the top ten
multiple weeks on my rankings at talktorodo dot com. So
it's I mean, other than Steelers, Steelers are the only one. Mate,
let me get that wrong. But the Steelers going into
the year were one of.

Speaker 2 (38:42):
The What about the Panthers. Panthers that weren't on your list, right, No,
they were, they were on your top they're your top ten.

Speaker 1 (38:52):
They they're they're not in the top ten. The Panthers
are I think they missed it, y'all. They're fifteenth, they're fifteen.
So as of week seventeen total yards against, the Panthers
were the fifteenth ranked defense. So that's not bad. So
this is what I'm saying. Buffalo, New England, Chargers, Broncos, Texans,

(39:15):
they're all there. They're all there. So that's that's that's again.
And what's even crazier he's even though green Day fell
apart at the end of the year, they only fell
down to eleventh place, and the Jacksonville Jaguars are twelve. Yeah,
so again, when you look at the top twenty, you
got a lot of these defenses, and a lot of
these defenses are in the AFC. So that's why that

(39:38):
that's that's perfect for Pittsburgh. That's perfect for you guys.
I will agree with you there. I will agree with that,
although I just think us Allen would be oh man,
that needs a lot sometimes.

Speaker 3 (39:51):
So but if that, if that's the AFC Championship, Pittsburgh
and Buffalo. You know it's in Pittsburgh, right, you know
it's in Pittsburgh.

Speaker 1 (40:01):
It's in Pittsburgh. Yeah, So oh man, I love it. Yeah,
that that place would be freaking nuts, but I like it.
We we seem we seem to have gotten the Bills
to the AFC Championship. So everybody out there, this is
gonna help with your best ball strategies. Again, when I
get to the best ball strategy, we'll talk about that

(40:24):
a little bit. But let's move along to the NFC.
All right. So I have San Francisco and l A
meeting up and Seattle versus Green Bay. But you have
a different you have a different approach because you took
the Eagles.

Speaker 3 (40:42):
Yeah, so I got I got Seattle and Green Bay
playing yep, So I think the Seahawks are gonna beat
Green Bay yep, and I think I think the Rams
beat Philadelphia, so I gotta I got a Seahawks Rams
NFC championship game, and.

Speaker 2 (41:01):
So do I.

Speaker 1 (41:01):
I I think, honestly, the Seahawks and the Rams are
the best teams in the NFC, and this is gonna
come down to a third game for them. I hate
so because I picked San Francisco. I have the Rams
going through San Francisco and Seattle. I have the Bills
and the Rams in the Super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (41:18):
So I got I got the Seahawks and and the
Steelers in the Super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (41:23):
Oh you want that? You want that remix? You want
that rematch from was it two thousand and six?

Speaker 2 (41:28):
That was Super Bowl X L. This is Super Bowl LX.

Speaker 1 (41:32):
Oh man, you're trying to you're trying to get all
those conspiracy theories going with this, this flip of the LX.
If that happens and you guys somehow win again with
some weird catch by Calvin Austin better not be NBS,
then I'll be like, all right, Wow.

Speaker 2 (41:54):
Well that was the Super Bowl that what's his name
through the past, the Hines Ward? Yeah, the receiver.

Speaker 1 (42:02):
Oh you're talking about Roth.

Speaker 2 (42:06):
No, it wasn't Rothger. It was the receiver Randa will Renduel.

Speaker 1 (42:10):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I was like trying to remember, dude.
I was like, dang, and I knew because that was
like a skinny dude.

Speaker 3 (42:15):
And then the first play at the second half, Uh fast,
will he take took his seventy nine yards?

Speaker 1 (42:22):
Yeah? Yeah, that was a hard one. And Shawn Alexander
was insane that year. I think he was m VP,
wasn't he. Shawn Alexander was m VP that year. That
was tough.

Speaker 2 (42:33):
That's the year Matt Hasselback was like in the world
on fire too.

Speaker 1 (42:36):
For some reason, he somehow took tim and then it
into one hassleback for one year and then he shaved
it all off because he got that much older. And
that next year and then the Seattle Seahawks we're junk again.
But I mean, okay, we all know that they've been
a third in the Rams side. I actually started hating

(42:56):
them more than the Patriots the Russell Wilson era. But
so that being said, you got so you got the
Steelers winning the Super Bowl, I got the Rams winning
the Super Bowl. Everybody's gonna say these their Homer picks, but.

Speaker 2 (43:12):
They probably are. They probably are, but.

Speaker 1 (43:17):
Been the number one team in the in the league
if they would not have played the way they right.

Speaker 2 (43:22):
That's all right.

Speaker 3 (43:22):
Last time the Steelers won the Super Bowl, we were
the number six seeds. So it doesn't matter. Hi, Kate
or high you're late. I thought you said hi, I'm Kate.

Speaker 1 (43:30):
Oh what's up, mister ruthless. Welcome to you just missed.
We just went through our brackets. We're gonna be getting
into Best Ball rankings real fast. I'm gonna give out
my Fantasy Football awards, and we're gonna be talking a
little bit about UFC and just talking about the card
because in two weeks we're gonna go. We're gonna be
live next week with the Fight Club of Pay. We'll

(43:50):
talk about this show, we'll talk about the next round
of the playoffs Divisionals, and then we'll also add in
a little more talk about UFC three twenty four. But
you will get your UFC three twenty four bets, the
parlay pain and everything will be on the Fight Club
Pain in two weeks. In two weeks, so that's what
it's all about. But practically, Dan's got the Steelers going

(44:13):
all the way to the Super Bowl, I got the
Rams going all the way to the Super Bowl. I
think that everybody. Brackets are just fun to fill out.
You never know who's gonna be right, you never know
it's gonna be wrong. That's the story of the NFL.

Speaker 2 (44:24):
I'm not gonna lie. I'm probably wrong because the Steelers
aren't the best team in the league right now.

Speaker 1 (44:31):
But you know what, you also talked about a pathway
to victory, and just like in the UFC, if there's
a pathway to success, it can happen. Yeah, and they
showed it, like you said when you as for the
sixth seeding you won that Super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (44:47):
Mister Ruthless wants to hear our opinion on the Chargers
and the Patriots again.

Speaker 1 (44:52):
Chargers and Patriots. I picked the Chargers, Dan took the Patriots.
We think that this game is gonna go under. They
have this game projected at what was it, forty six
point I got it right here, forty six point five.
I actually think that game is going to go under.
Dan thought that that game was going to go under.
So if you want to look at it, you could

(45:14):
probably say Chargers twenty seven, Patriots twenty or the other
way around. Yep, yep, Dan's got Patriots winning twenty seven.
I got Chargers winning or Chargers scoring twenty then, So
for us, that was a little something. You could also
go back and watch this. To mister Ruthless, you can
also you can when we're done, you can hit back

(45:36):
and then you could pop in there and you can
do that. So you know, just to hear it again
and hear the depth and the running backs and talking
about the different angles and how that I feel the
Chargers linebackers, one of them being one of my boys,
Diane Henley. That guy right there, he's a wrecking ball.
He's one of the key components to stopping Hunter Henry.

(45:56):
And I don't think I think Digs will be but
I think Pop Douglass, I think all the rest of
the receivers, their inability is going to come out this game.
And that's why. But I mean, damn thinks that Drake
May is the m v P. So he's gonna m
v P his ass right to the next round. That

(46:17):
was That was That was our.

Speaker 2 (46:20):
Oh man, And you can't say that because I don't.
I don't like the Patriots, I don't like THETS.

Speaker 1 (46:30):
Let's go some best ball projections. These are my top
five best ball projections. You go to DraftKings, you hit
the best ball tap, you draft your team, you pick
these players, you make sure that players and and you
know that that's that's correct.

Speaker 2 (46:47):
Maybe it is what it is.

Speaker 3 (46:51):
I mean, Miles Garrett got the it's going to be
the defensive m v P because because people laid down
for him.

Speaker 1 (47:03):
Yeah yeah, I mean he broke the rector. He's he's
gonna do. He's gonna he's gonna get that this year.
And I also honestly thought I think it was I
had what last year. No, I hain'ts somebody else, well,
I nailed the Rookie Defensive Player of the Year, But
it was it was kind of where one of those
things to where I didn't think Dudy was gonna win. Yeah,

(47:26):
I think it's Denver's cornerback. They're super corner patric certain
being an idiot, dang so much you have seen going on,
so Yeah, that that's what when he wanted. I was
like what I thought I was gonna. I had my
pre season betting article was like on five and then
that one. This year, we.

Speaker 2 (47:49):
Believe you too. Stafford does deserve it more. But I
think he lost it with that Seahawks game.

Speaker 1 (47:54):
Yep. So yeah, that's something you missed too. Uh, Dan,
we could go so people got Of course, this is
a live show for anybody re listening to this on
an audio format, so people are asking Dan, go ahead,
you you said it was the Seahawks game.

Speaker 2 (48:08):
Man, I agree, Yeah, I think it was the interceptions
in the Seahawks game that lost in that MVP.

Speaker 1 (48:14):
Right, and then I'll even say, if you want to
go back to the Carolina game, Carolina, the Carolina lost
in Seahawk game being so close together. Uh, that's the
tough part for me. I agree with you. Still take
a Stafford.

Speaker 2 (48:28):
I still hope he gets it. I do. I hope
he gets it, But I.

Speaker 3 (48:34):
Think I think Drake May is going to get it
because of politics, not because he's the better quarterback.

Speaker 1 (48:42):
All right, well let's get through these Best Ball top five.
So quarterback you're picking now, remind you where you're picking
in your Best Ball draft is exactly where you need
to think about where you're picking these guys. I've got
Allen one, Stafford two, May three, Lawrence or Purty five
five because I love the way Purdy can put up

(49:06):
those points. Yes, Party put up like what six points
last game, but in his previous game he had forty
four points DFS wise in the previous game before that,
I think he was around thirty some points. So once
he can put that, once he plays that on and
that team is clicking and you can't cover Christian McCaffrey,
that team's just gonna score like that. And that's why

(49:27):
I got Purty is my fifth ranked quarterback? Why receive?
Do you have a problem with any of those top five.

Speaker 2 (49:34):
Me?

Speaker 1 (49:35):
Yeah, just in those top five alls, just saying, dude,
do you think that's a solid top five out of
all the quarterbacks? And because all the quarterbacks can picked,
even Darnold because he's on a bye week though, so
that's how best the team's on a buy You just
gotta wait.

Speaker 2 (49:47):
I mean, I'd rather have Aaron Rodgers than Rock Party.

Speaker 1 (49:50):
Okay, I'm fine with that too. That's that's it. So
you would just you would swap Rogers for Purdy, I've
got no problem. It was hard to like pick around
that that level. I mean, that was where I was
gonna start looking at Jail and Hurts. Jail and Hurts
should probably be somewhere up there, But it's like, yeah,
I trust Laurens more than Hurts to have a big
game because of just how even though that game could

(50:12):
shoot out, this is this is NFL football, man, So
I'm still with those games.

Speaker 2 (50:17):
You never know what's gonna happen.

Speaker 1 (50:19):
You gotta have to have a defense, man. NFL playoff
football is different than pre than seasonal games. You get
some blowouts, but you don't get many blowouts. Yeah, all right,
wide receivers. I got Nikua one, Collins at two, A J.
Brown three, McMillan four, and a doonsa at five. Do

(50:41):
you like all those guys?

Speaker 2 (50:43):
You think Nico You think Nico Collins is gonna burn
the secondary of the Steelers, don't you?

Speaker 1 (50:49):
I do you think Nico Collins is gonna break loose
on one of those passes? Duty is a sick after dude, bro, I.

Speaker 2 (50:57):
Think JPJ is gonna lock him down.

Speaker 1 (51:01):
But do you think they're gonna move JPJ out? I'm
JPBA is more than Nickel, right.

Speaker 3 (51:06):
No, No, JPJ plays man coverage most of the time.
But if he's on the right side of the d
or the left side. If he's on the left side,
then JPJ is gonna cover him if he's not, you know, okay,
somebody else.

Speaker 1 (51:21):
Will, yeah, because I was, I wasn't really counting on
Jail and Noel. And the thing is is like going
back to Dalton, we'll get to the tight ends, but
Dalton Schultz is gonna be one of them too, because
I like, your linebackers are good, but they're great tacklers.
Sometimes a great tacklers like Patrick Queen, he's a great tackler.

Speaker 2 (51:39):
Yeah, but yeah, can't cover, can't cover.

Speaker 1 (51:42):
So that's why having the Austin Hooper and Hunter Henry
sets are gonna be hard for you guys to cover.
So that's when your safeties are gonna have to cheat
up a little bit because they're gonna have to help
them the linebackers out. That's when you're gonna hope that
you know, you get back there and you get a
little rattled. So I like, is there is there anybody
else that you uh, you stuck out?

Speaker 2 (52:03):
Do you like? Did you say Dobbs?

Speaker 1 (52:09):
I did not say Dobbs. I didn't pick any of
the Green Bay receivers because I think they're too muddled.
They muddled each other.

Speaker 2 (52:16):
I like, like, I like Dobbs. Mhm, that's the only
one I would I would switch on there. I'd put
Dobbs in the top five.

Speaker 1 (52:25):
Okay, I mean McMillan Bland picked the name is because
you know he's gonna be offensive Rookie of the Year.
And also like just his playability, the way he was
able to get the ball against the Rams, and the
Rams are susceptible, susceptible like you guys in the second
secondary at time. So that's one of those guys that
just can get that ball done. But really, honestly, I

(52:46):
don't trust Bryce Young at all, man, that be a joke.
Literally went and had two bad games in a row
and then lost, and then because of Atlanta winning gets
in the playoffs. Like you were just saying, like, I'm
not playing that game. We're not playing that game, bro.

Speaker 2 (53:03):
Yeah, I'd rather see Tampa Bay in that game.

Speaker 1 (53:06):
I thought that's that was what I was still taking
the Rams over that game. But I thought it would
have been a better matchup. I think it would have
been a better game, yeah, because Mike Evans would have
freaking destroyed our secondary and then man are our nickel
cover Godwin would have been eaten on him. Man, So

(53:28):
that would have been a hard one, and then the
Rams we're pretty good. I would say we're pretty good
against the run, but then Bijon Robinson tore us up
on that Monday.

Speaker 2 (53:38):
Night, and I'm like, well, bon kills everybody. Man kills
every defense.

Speaker 1 (53:45):
Let's talk let's let's let's talk about running backs now.
Since we're talking about running backs, these are my top
five running backs for best ball in the playoffs. Christian McCaffrey,
James Cook, Travis atn This is this right here. Is
can be something that everybody's gonna be a little throwing off,
and I get it for the first round, but he

(54:06):
will get stronger as the playoffs go on if they
keep winning. It's Josh Jacobs and has my fifth ranked
running back, Kenneth Gainwell, Dan talk about it.

Speaker 2 (54:17):
I like it. I like everything that every pick that
you had, because why go on, no, no, go ahead,
what we're gonna say.

Speaker 1 (54:26):
I didn't put Saku in there?

Speaker 2 (54:29):
No, No, he hasn't had a great year, man, he
really hasn't.

Speaker 1 (54:35):
Going.

Speaker 2 (54:35):
But I really like the gain Well.

Speaker 3 (54:37):
At addition, I'm just not being a hummer, but he's
the one of the best receiving running backs in the league.

Speaker 1 (54:47):
I think he had seventy four receptions this year.

Speaker 2 (54:50):
Yeah, that was right, and the best and the best
catch of the year.

Speaker 1 (54:56):
Yeah, I think that's too. He's and and that's why
I brought up the questionable Jalen Warren. Jalen Warren used
to be your third down running back. Now they just
want him just grind in the middle, and he does.
He's You know, a lot of people even go back
to the game that Gamewell blew up in There was
a twenty five twenty six yard run that got called

(55:17):
back for offensive holding that Jalen Warren had. So a
lot of people gotta remember that Jalen Warren had some
bad luck in that game with a couple offensive holds,
especially that one that negated what he did. I think
he had a catch negated too in that game. So
for me, that right there alone tells me that you're

(55:37):
the first and second down round back. But the minute
needs to come to a passing down. Kenneth Gamewell is
in there now for a whole best ball format. People
are gonna go, all right, well, why would I pick game? Well,
if he's only gonna play one round, Because with best ball,
you gotta move on the top winner only moves on
to the next round, so you need all your points

(55:59):
right now. So you're literally saying if game Will could
move on, great, If he doesn't, you should definitely get
enough catches receptions. They have his receiving his receptions at
four right now, and I think the receptions at four
was a plus two ten something like that. It was
right around there. So for me, if I'm gonna look

(56:21):
at that sports books are looking at that game, well's
getting four catches. If they're losing this game, they're gonna
need more. I don't think. I don't think you guys
are gonna be able to run up the middle with
Will Anderson there. I don't think that that's going to
be able to happen. And I mean, and he's not
the only one there either, man, I mean both him

(56:41):
and I'm having the massive brain for it today.

Speaker 3 (56:44):
But I'm not saying Houston has the best defense in
the league, best defense.

Speaker 1 (56:48):
In the league. Yeah, yeah, I'm just doing that for
a year as well too is. But they.

Speaker 2 (56:54):
Have lost many games. They are on a wild colored team.
They did not win their divisi.

Speaker 1 (57:02):
That is the key they have.

Speaker 2 (57:05):
They have lost games.

Speaker 1 (57:09):
And the reason why they've lost those games is because
of the offenses in up SO and their inability to
be able to score points consistently has put that defense
on the field for way too long and has left
them wide open.

Speaker 2 (57:23):
So for me, sounds like.

Speaker 1 (57:27):
You gotta say, you said they play one good round
though who the Steelers. You said they played one good
one good, one good half of football, But last week
they played a little more than that.

Speaker 2 (57:39):
Uh No, they played one good half. They only scored
three points in the first half. Yeah, they played one
good half of football.

Speaker 1 (57:48):
It was getting you into that one man. That was
that is that is That's what makes this this this
podcast so fun. Is like you know, like we yeah,
we we some homer homer kind of guys. But in
the end, we do know that our teams have flaws
and that you know, they can be easily exploited.

Speaker 2 (58:06):
So the first the second half of the second half
of the game, the Steelers are the best team in
the league. The first two first two quarters they're they're
the worst team in the league. So yeah, we we
have to weigh it out.

Speaker 1 (58:20):
Yeah, I agree with that. It's one of those things
that you know, like once they catch on, they kind
of go into it and then they they kind of
get there. So for me, you know, it's I just
like the hard nosness of that football team, the way
that it likes to, you know, be strong and continue

(58:40):
its own kind of ways. So for me, I like
what you guys are doing. And I feel that this
leads to why game well is a huge, huge, huge
addition for you guys, because again you picked them up.
He came in, you said all year long like the
best running back in that system, and now he's proving

(59:03):
that every single moment. And the other guy I was
looking for was Daniel Hunter. I don't know why I
am having this kind of day. I must have taken
too many hits last night. So Hunter and Anderson up
in there, and this is an IDP hero here. I'm
just all day. I did have a good night fighting though,
I did have a good knight fighting. That was funny.
So anyway, let's move on to tight end. I got Kittle, Lovelin, Schultz, Parkinson,

(59:30):
John U Smith. I think those are the five you
should target.

Speaker 2 (59:34):
You picked John who over Friar moveth I.

Speaker 1 (59:37):
Did because if you notice, your boy Arthur Smith loves
to run John HU Smith out the backfield like he
had running.

Speaker 2 (59:44):
Back so six times. He only did it six times this.

Speaker 1 (59:47):
Year, but he's done it recently and he scored a
touchdown that John U rushing touchdown. But he's got that too.
He did it last game too, So that's I'm counting
that is one touch so that's like a catch. So
I feel that between the two, you're gonna get Friar
Mouth around four or five targets. You're gonna get Smith

(01:00:08):
around four or five. But Smith is definitely in line
to at least get one rush. He's sneaky. You guys
brought him from Miami. In Miami, he would just constantly
score those touchdowns. He's one of those guys that I
think that sometimes Arthur Smith would get enthralled with Washington
too much, yeah, and try to just let Washington bowl

(01:00:29):
his way down the field, whereas he had a skillful
player like John H. Smith or Firemuth that could have
did it. So of those top five, you'd put Friar Mooth.
There is there anybody else you'd move?

Speaker 2 (01:00:42):
I'd actually I'd put Friar Moose in there because he's
gonna get a lot of targets because, like I said before,
to the middle of the field of that Houston defense
is their weakness.

Speaker 1 (01:00:52):
Yeah, and Aaron Rodgers knows how to pick that apart.
That's my game, will and a Pittsburgh tight end is
gonna be big because DK is gonna be locked up
with Steamling, so you know that's gonna be they could
get kicked out. That could be a fight. DK could fight, dude.
So yeah, then then I don't want to see that

(01:01:14):
Steeler team again.

Speaker 2 (01:01:16):
And we all know, we all know DK's batshit crazy, so.

Speaker 1 (01:01:21):
Yeah, yeah, I mean, as long as he don't get
ejected and then Stingley stays in, you know that that's
that's one of those things that goes on. So for me,
I think it's great. I think Schultz also is gonna
have an advantage against that. We talked about that when
we covered the Houston and Steeler game. So for me,
that that game right there. But you can go grab
one of those late, grab one of those height ends.

(01:01:43):
The reason why I say John Oui Smith at five
is I'm not telling you to pick him fifth overall
in the first round. I'm telling you to pick him
last because he's gonna be there. So if this is
the best this is the best ball format he could
slide into your flex if he gets a touchdown, three
catches three yards in a four yard rush, and that's
all I'm saying, that's all I'm looking for. This is

(01:02:04):
best Ball one and done. Then you're out. We're figuring
out some other stuff. That's why maybe you want to
go a J Bonner for Seattle. That's a strategy that
people use with with Best Ball. They'll grab, like, you know,
the second round tight end that has a buy. So
now you have two tight ends. One goes out or
both go on. You have two chances to go on
to the championship games. And that's kind of a that's

(01:02:26):
that's a you know, a technique people use with the
Best Ball because there's so many techniques. Look at who
you're gonna win, who you think is gonna win the
super Bowl, and then you kind of try to get
them to get there. So if I on my standing,
I got Bills and Rams, you're gonna want people like
Josh Allen and Pooka and you're not gonna get them.
The best you're gonna get is maybe Josh Allen and
then DeVante Adams because James Cook and Pooka aren't gonna

(01:02:49):
make it to you. So therefore you're either gonna do
that or you're gonna go Puka and try to get
Matt Stafford. But in a lot of the best ball
drafts that I've had, I've had on DK Stafford's going
in first round, if not early in the second round.
So you really got to watch when you're doing these drafts.
The snakiest of it that if you're gonna build a team,

(01:03:11):
then you got to build it. The best part about
playoffs fastball is next week it starts again, but your
other team's still going. So by the end of the playoffs,
I have probably three rounds of best ball teams going
for me. So just gives you allow a chance to
be a chameleon. Uh huh, go with the cool. So
even if you're wrong, you can re center your team

(01:03:33):
and choose it again. So that's where it kind of works.
Here's your DFS defense is top five Rams, Houston, Bills, Eagles, Steelers.
Why do the Steelers make the top five? That's the reason.

Speaker 2 (01:03:45):
No one knows because of me.

Speaker 1 (01:03:49):
No, Well, what you said and what we're talking about
Stroud and not being trustful.

Speaker 2 (01:03:55):
C J.

Speaker 1 (01:03:55):
Stroud goes in there and throws up one of those
two twenty one touchdown, one interception game. That's a Steeler game,
and we all those Steeler games are heart attack games,
so every one of them. So that would give that'll
give you a little DFS exclusive for this weekend on
the Ultra Concheron Show. So I know that this is
this show has been running about an hour and we're

(01:04:16):
gonna we're gonna run through a few of the fight
predictions and stuff like that. But let me give you
I'm not gonna give out much to talk on the
Fantasy Football twenty twenty six Awards quarterback Josh Allen. A
lot of people are gonna take Drake May. I get it,
Drake May. But Josh Allen put up like fifty points
some weeks, forty points some weeks. He was just I

(01:04:37):
get May was consistent more out through the season. And
I look back to that Josh Allen game against the
Eagles and how he barely got enough points to be
fantasy relevant. At the point is his great players find
a way to get them SAMs sels fantasy relevant. Also,
Josh Allen just had hard games like he had. You know,
he had that Browns game that was atrocious form. I

(01:05:00):
mean he was like, oh, Josh can play in snow great,
and then he goes You're like, then he should be
good in Cleveland. Nah, he was trashing Cleveland. So again
I'm giving it to Allen. Allen again, it's a homer
pick number but number one Fantasy player all season one
right there, number one two. Since I drafted Josh Allen

(01:05:24):
eight years ago, I have not paid for my league.
I've said this thousands of times. This year, I've got
paid for my league in eight years and just won
my third championship. Josh Allen. That's why he's that running
back Christian McCaffrey hands down best running back all year long.
This was really hard because for me, I go, how

(01:05:44):
did you play in the playoffs. That's a big question
for me in the Fantasy football playoffs, and Bijon Robinson
was lights out against the Rams. If you need to
get to a championship game, that sixty two points really helped.
So for me, that's what got that wide receiver Puka
Nukua number one, JSN number two. You could flip flop

(01:06:05):
either or JSN may have been a little more consistent,
but Pooka ended up with the better numbers. Again, you
could say for me another homer pick, but not for me.
He had the stats to prove it. He was dominant
even when he came out of There was a couple
of games he was injured in and came out for
a practically a half and then came back in or

(01:06:26):
a quarter and came back in. Those were other balls,
other stats that he would have got in widen that
gap and had more points. And by the way, he
catches that ball at the end of the game and
they call that a catch. There's a lot of people
to think that was a catch. Before it slipped out
of his hand, we could have won that game. Yeah,

(01:06:47):
so's that to me shows he puts himself in a
position to win that game. Tight ends McBride Number one.
By far. McBride was like top four period are in
the one League, and everybody's gonna go Kyle Pitts that's
my runner up. But I'm gonna say Juan Johnson actually
tied him. Pitts had some big games. Juwan Johnson, just

(01:07:10):
like you could say JSN was kind of just there
all the time, always getting the ball, and Juwan Johnson
being you know, for the Saints. He was very solid
in your fantasy football playoffs as well too. He started
every game for my fantasy football playoffs. I ran him
and Harold fann and doubled up because it was it

(01:07:30):
was just it was also the tight ends got an
extra point twenty five for the reception, so you could
say it was a tight end premium league. But for me,
Fannin and Johnson were doing it. I wanted Fannin to
be here. I just think Fannin didn't get enough preseason
or early season work because of you know, David Nujuco,
and then by the time fannon got in there, he
just proved he was better. And defense Vikings Seattle Seattle's

(01:07:51):
probably the best fantasy football defense that a lot of
people look at. But the depending on your league scoring,
the Vikings edged seat in one league and by a
little bit more. It was probably like ten or fifteen points.
But then in another one of my leagues, Seattle was
won and the Vikings were four. So again this is

(01:08:12):
two your leagues. But for my leagues, my stats for
the most what I saw the Vikings run there. They
were also sleepy. No one was thinking the Vikings, and
the Vikings are one of the teams that helped me
get two the Fantasy Football Championship when they shut down
Jackson Dart and then kicker. I'll throw this in Jason
Myer's best. He was like two hundred twenty points in

(01:08:34):
my one league. Frrik kayam Fairband he was like second
he was down by he was like thirty points away
or something like that. That's the Houston kicker. Of course,
those are my fantasy football MVPs for this season, Dan,
do you disagree with any of that? I do not.

Speaker 2 (01:08:51):
I like all of those picks.

Speaker 1 (01:08:54):
I was trying to get James Cook in there because
James Cook was.

Speaker 2 (01:08:57):
Really good, really good. I mean he won the rushing
won the rushing title this year.

Speaker 1 (01:09:03):
Right, yeah. Yeah. And that's another thing too, is it
was hard to turn out of Wakes. I mean, people go,
we'll look at the fantasy stats, but this guy in
a season bunch had more yards. So did he have
more touchdowns? Who knows? But he had a lot of
great games with touchdowns. You know that for a fact
because he was part of my three headed hydra on

(01:09:23):
my team that won that championship.

Speaker 2 (01:09:26):
You're cheating mass team.

Speaker 1 (01:09:30):
He was cooking. He was cooking, man, all right, brother man,
we got all in, everybody, You got that? All right,
I'm gonna do the NFL bets and we're going straight
into UFC and then we'll be out of here. This
will be your preview preview. Next week, we'll do a
little more preview for UFC three twenty four, and we'll
also cover the games. Probably we could probably button up,

(01:09:52):
but I think this is about a good good amount
of time. So let's just run down the card. And
so Dan asked the question, here's this your question. How
many finishes or decisions do you think that this card has?
Do you want me to give me mine first? Because
you asked me?

Speaker 2 (01:10:11):
Yeah, go ahead, all right.

Speaker 1 (01:10:14):
So I think there's gonna be six decisions in eight finishes.
That's what I'm going for. People. You know what's coming down.
That's what it's gonna be about. Man, Dan hit it
all right.

Speaker 2 (01:10:30):
So we got we got what certain thirteen fourteen fourteen
fight fight, We got fourteen fights. I think there's gonna
be nine finishes.

Speaker 1 (01:10:40):
Nine finishes. Okay, there was one finish. There was one fight.
One fight. I'll say it. I'll say it. No, I
won't because that's the fight we're talking about. One of
that's one of the fights we're talking about on the
show in two weeks.

Speaker 2 (01:10:57):
So I think there's only gonna be five decision on
this whole cart.

Speaker 1 (01:11:01):
Dude, that's sickening. We're so close. I'm I thought you were, man,
I thought I was gonna be around twelve finishes.

Speaker 2 (01:11:09):
Yeah, So when I was looking at it, I thought
it was gonna be like twelve.

Speaker 1 (01:11:13):
But you're like, you're like, Rob's gonna pick twelve finishes.

Speaker 2 (01:11:17):
Yeah, I was like, I'll go with nine. I'll go
with nine. I got. I got six knockouts and three
subs happening, all.

Speaker 1 (01:11:27):
Right, I got. You know, So I I didn't actually
do that part because I was trying to stay away
from that that week, and probably I can probably answer
that one next week. But I do know that there's
definitely some knockouts are gonna happened. One of the one
are the fights that actually does actually that knockout is
gonna happen in and it's definitely going under is Ataba

(01:11:50):
Gatier versus Andre Puliev. This fight's going under one. That's
one of my knockouts. That had to be one of
your knockouts.

Speaker 2 (01:11:58):
Yeah, yeah, I counted that as one of one of
my knockouts.

Speaker 1 (01:12:02):
Have won us money. Last time, I just.

Speaker 2 (01:12:07):
Thought, I don't see him taking the power.

Speaker 1 (01:12:12):
And that's the thing too, is tries to go into
those fights. He's not really so much a ground guy.
So for me, when I'm looking at all that, it's
like you, you don't defend you, you have no accuracy
for takedown. So that means you have to stand toe
to toe with freaking the hulk. Well he's the hulk

(01:12:38):
we'll call We'll call Gati a Thanos of the UFC.

Speaker 2 (01:12:45):
Staffles. Oh, but.

Speaker 1 (01:12:50):
That's all FAST's gonna be over.

Speaker 2 (01:12:54):
But so starting what in two weeks we get the
soup can segment, right.

Speaker 1 (01:13:04):
Yep, yep. So in two weeks, that's gonna be something new.
If none of you that's it, or you're new to
the Fight Club of Baine Dan Will, instead of doing
a writing article, he's gonna be giving out his sup
Can of the week on the actual show. So I
love that. I love that a lot. I will tell
you you know what I'm gonna just I'll tell you
the fight Shauna Melle and you Dong I picked that

(01:13:27):
to go a decision or we would be both nine
and five. That's the one.

Speaker 2 (01:13:31):
I I counted that as a decision also.

Speaker 1 (01:13:36):
Okay, okay, so right there, I was wondering about that.
So this is kind of like one of those things
like it just was it just it spells decision, doesn't.
It just seems like you don't just want us money.
Mally's kind of that guy that doesn't get finished off.
And I mean Vosh Peeley finished him, but the other

(01:13:57):
time he didn't. So this is the and and he's
geared to go the distance. But you agreed with that,
So what was your theory on that?

Speaker 2 (01:14:07):
I think this is it's just gonna be a striker's
special in that fight. I think those two are just
gonna stand and bang and whoever, whoever's stronger, is gonna win,
I agree, or who's ever slicker.

Speaker 1 (01:14:23):
So I mean, I have O'Malley winning that. Of course,
I think O'Malley's gonna win. And this is that's probably
something I shouldn't even be telling any of y'all, but
I will give it that.

Speaker 2 (01:14:36):
Probably not.

Speaker 1 (01:14:39):
When we have that show, Believe me, I'm gonna have
me some finished bets and we're gonna hit him. We're
gonna hit him, and I'll have something So for me.
If we feel that way, then the books should be
feeling that way when we get closer to the event, right.

Speaker 3 (01:14:55):
Yeah, But a lot of the time we see different
than the books do. Man, we see a lot different
in the books too, and.

Speaker 1 (01:15:03):
That's what makes us great. That's what that's what's giving
us our sauce. So you asked another question, what is
the fight that you want to see the most? So
I'll go first, since you brought this to the table.
This was hard for me because it's gonna come back.

(01:15:24):
His comeback is coming back and he's going to win.
But the fight I want to see the most is
Waldo Cortes Acostas versus Derek Lewis.

Speaker 2 (01:15:36):
The fight we called the fight I we said should happen,
is happening.

Speaker 1 (01:15:41):
Yes, you did.

Speaker 2 (01:15:44):
Us that. That is just a lot of man meat.
Two big meaty men slapping meat. That's what That's what's
gonna happen.

Speaker 1 (01:15:52):
They're just gonna go right in the middle of the
ring and just each other. Man.

Speaker 2 (01:15:57):
Yeah, there's gonna be no takedowns, there's gonna be nothing.
There's just two big dudes just throwing hamhocks. Yeah, yeah,
we all know that.

Speaker 1 (01:16:08):
Derek Lewis can knock out well. Okay, so w c
A had even in his loss recently, not his last match,
last match, of course he won. But in his in
his loss, he everybody thought he was gonna get he
was gonna get finished, and he did not. He did
not get finished. That was, of course, that was the

(01:16:32):
not the Delesia fight, because he he beat Delisia and
he beat Jazia. But it was the Pavlos Sergey Pavlovich
versus Apostas that went division decision. I thought Pavlovic would
have knocked him out. We did pick Pavlovich in that fight. Yeah,
but he took a lot of punishment in that fight.

Speaker 2 (01:16:55):
Yeah, yeah, he did.

Speaker 3 (01:16:58):
And then this is the fight that they needed to
make in the heavyweight division. This is the funnest fight
in the heavyweight division, because I really don't care what
any of the champs doing. I don't care what the
number two guys doing. Uh like, none of that even
tickles my fancy right now, I don't. It doesn't does
nothing for me, but that that fight, this is the

(01:17:20):
best fight in the heavyweight division.

Speaker 1 (01:17:23):
Yeah, and you know, and so like Pavlo Pavlovich, he
beat w c A. He knocked out Derek Lewis. I
think I saw that pavlovich is due up next for
a title shot. I thought that there. I heard rumblings
after Dan Ye and all that stuff gets up there.
I've heard pavlovich is is kind of getting next.

Speaker 2 (01:17:43):
Up, and I was like, I don't know. I hope
gan Ye or Sarah Ganin Uh kicks rocks man. I hope.
I'm tired. I'm done with him. I'm done. I'm tired
of seeing him fight for titles. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:18:00):
Yeah, you and I we were hoping to aspinall what
it took him out there, but he didn't. He didn't
just end the hole gone stuff. So that being said,
what's your fight that you were looking forward to.

Speaker 3 (01:18:14):
I'm excited to see the woman's goat come back Amanda
None to fight Kaela Harrison.

Speaker 2 (01:18:20):
I am excited for that fight.

Speaker 1 (01:18:24):
What excites you the most that Nunez was able is
coming out to fight like the Hulk woman.

Speaker 2 (01:18:32):
Ah. I'm excited to see.

Speaker 3 (01:18:36):
The woman that knocked out everyone she faced fight the
wrestler who just ragged almost everyone she faces.

Speaker 1 (01:18:46):
Yep, yep, that's about it. I mean we go back
to if you go back to the Penya fights, you
know them both splitting between Unyez and Penya, and then
Penya already trying to say, oh, I want to do
it again, almost like say they want part three of
that match, but Penya verse Nunez. But like people, it's
just like so we're just not.

Speaker 2 (01:19:08):
Nah.

Speaker 3 (01:19:09):
Whoever wins this fight, I think fights Shipchenko because Shifchenko
wants to move up and fight.

Speaker 1 (01:19:16):
Okay, okay, but do you think that do you? Okay,
so do you think that that's gonna be a problem
size wise for Bullet?

Speaker 2 (01:19:25):
Now she's already done it once and she's also moved
down once, So yeah, I mean she's so good though,
I mean it doesn't matter what what weight class. She
might lose some speed, but she's not going to lose
anything else.

Speaker 1 (01:19:39):
Yeah. So so practically, if she faces Harrison, you don't
think that Harrison would be able. I don't think she'd
be able to outpower her. Do you think?

Speaker 2 (01:19:47):
Oh yeah, I think Kayla Harrison is a grown man,
and I think she would I think she would slam her.
But every fight starts on the feet.

Speaker 1 (01:19:59):
Yeah, yeah, Shivchenko is crisp everywhere. Yes, So you know you.
You got flashed. She doesn't. You're really strong at grappling,
but she can still handle with you. So that would
be a hell of a fight to watch now, Chevchenko
versus Nunez, that's a striker.

Speaker 2 (01:20:19):
It's already happened twice. Yeah, they already fought twice and
uh they they split. They they didn't fight both times
in the UFC. They fought once somewhere else and they
fought once in the ufcon As won by decision in
the UFC. Chevchenko won by decision outside of the UFC

(01:20:43):
before they came. So that was a long long time ago. Yeah,
but I would love to see it again. They're both older,
they're both kind of leaving their prime. No one knows
what what Amanda Noonas is gonna look like when she
steps in the offing. She has not fought in a
long time. Yeah, yeah, but the one thing that never

(01:21:05):
leaves is power.

Speaker 1 (01:21:08):
Yeah that that you correct about. That that only gets
better with age.

Speaker 3 (01:21:12):
Yeah, one thing that never leaves you is power, and
it only takes one shot. Look what she did the
cyborg whoa.

Speaker 1 (01:21:18):
And Cyborg's good. Soburg just won again.

Speaker 2 (01:21:23):
She hasn't lost since that noon As fight. She's one
since that noon As fight.

Speaker 1 (01:21:28):
That's insane, dude, that's and you know that's that's that's
why I love you so much.

Speaker 2 (01:21:33):
Man.

Speaker 1 (01:21:34):
I was like, you know, for a lot of people
that are new to the Fight Club of Pain and
people that are watching and everything like that, we do
thank you. This is why Dan is awesome because like
I didn't know that. They thought because I didn't watch
the UFC. I've been up football's ass and nlb's ass
for so so, so so long, and for me, you know,

(01:21:54):
that's where Dan's strong point is is the UFC. So
that so I was like, damn, I had to go check.
I was like, I went back and looked at that
and now just make me want to watch it now
because I'm like, man, I wouldn't mind seeing that. All right.
So let's say let's say somehow Penya ends up with

(01:22:15):
the bell Chevchenko.

Speaker 3 (01:22:17):
Penya Chefchenko just does what she does. She points her
to death. She just she's gsps it. Yeah, She's so
good that it's boring sometimes.

Speaker 1 (01:22:34):
Yeah, so practically we'll say it like this, Penya loses
to Chevchenko. Harrison has to completely rely on her wrestling
and strength to hold bullet down that might not happen,
but that would be the only play. And then we
of course have the striking ability of Nunez, and then

(01:22:56):
I would say, of course, the grappling I would definitely
give to the Chevchenko side. I mean they.

Speaker 2 (01:23:02):
Every everybody forgets Nuna's is a b j J black belt. Yeah, yeah,
so she She's not a slouch on the ground either. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:23:12):
So of the two, this is gonna be very hard.
Who's the harder opponent Harrison.

Speaker 2 (01:23:17):
Or to fight? Like for anyone? Oh? Uh, I think
Harrison would be because she doesn't know her, she's never
fought her. I think, uh, they know her and Nuna's
know each other style and know how they fight. So
I think I think that might be. It wouldn't be easy,

(01:23:42):
but it it would be easier than fighting Kayla Harrison.
And like I said before, I don't I don't think.
I don't think Kayla Harrison is that good. I think
she's strong. Mm hmm, yeah, she's She's She's the female brooclast.

Speaker 1 (01:24:01):
There. It is so practically we're not going to give
out any picks on that fight, but you can kind
of see how we broke that fight down in the
way that we went into kind of how we went
about it. I loved what we did right there. You know,
this is a little bit about where this fight's gonna
go next, but it's also about what the action is
going to take place in this fight. And I can't

(01:24:22):
wait to get a piece of this man. Two weeks man,
you were just like it's next week. I was like, man,
it's another week, bro, and you were like, nah, man,
next week, and.

Speaker 2 (01:24:29):
I'm like, I said it, I said it again today
next week.

Speaker 1 (01:24:34):
No, I just was like, January twenty fourth, because it's
been too long. I was talking to this dude that
came through for TJ's plumbing here and Eerie, and I
was like, I was like, dude, he was like, that's
what I told you. Got us talking is He was like, man,
it's been too long without fights. And I was like, man,
I agree with you. Man, I am hungry, but you

(01:24:56):
know I dig that, man. And this card is gonna
be truly amazing, only to be followed up by UFC
three twenty five, which is gonna be just as as
good but greatest power.

Speaker 2 (01:25:10):
Yeah, and I love the Justin Gagee Patty Pinlett fight.

Speaker 1 (01:25:14):
Man, Yeah, I love it. Yeah, and you know my
boy Jean Silva on it. You know my boy Jean Silver,
Jean Silva's on it.

Speaker 2 (01:25:23):
Uh, and he's fighting arn L Allen to Arnold Allen's
a bad dude.

Speaker 1 (01:25:27):
Uh y a lot about Arnold Ironing.

Speaker 2 (01:25:31):
Uh sug Ros is fighting uh Umar and the Maga Metafers.
Dustin Figarato. Man, that's gonna be a banger.

Speaker 1 (01:25:41):
Dude.

Speaker 2 (01:25:41):
And my my, my boy that won Super Canada year,
Michael Johnson is back.

Speaker 1 (01:25:47):
Me and on the main card. Well, there wasn't even
early prelims, prelims. It's just a one card down.

Speaker 2 (01:25:55):
No, he's on the pre he's on the prelims.

Speaker 1 (01:25:59):
Oh is he? Okay? Well, I don't know. I went
to their website and they just had everybody raked down.
Didn't just because what I was a remember, I was
trying to look. I went to look for early PRELMBS
prelims and they were just like loo And I was like,
all right, yeah, I haven't looked at the fight the fight, Uh,
what are you gonna call it? Fight schedule? I haven't
looked at the fight schedule yet. I just kind of
go off of what they got on here, and it's wrong.

(01:26:21):
It's wrong sometimes Usually the sports books have what you
need for that.

Speaker 3 (01:26:27):
So and then and then, like you were saying, three
twenty five, we got Vulcan Lopez again, which is unneeded,
but you you it's not needed.

Speaker 2 (01:26:37):
You like Diego Lopez. Volcans I do what folks are
one of my favorite fighters.

Speaker 3 (01:26:43):
We got Hooker and Saint Denny fighting, and we got
Rafael pha Ze coming back and fighting ma Ritio Rufie.

Speaker 1 (01:26:53):
Yeah, Rufie with the new with the new thing and
PHYSI that fight could get Fight of the night. Yeah,
but that also depends if it stands up because Rufie
got schooled last time. He got schooled on the ground.

Speaker 2 (01:27:09):
And but and Phyz is of the JJ black belt,
so hmmm.

Speaker 1 (01:27:16):
And Physique, like I said, he trained, he trained pre
and so pre you know, talk about Phyzie and his
strength and kind of like the striking and stuff like that, Like, dude,
he's not gonna stop attacking, and Rufie's kind of I
would say, of the two, Physique's probably gonna have more
strikes because of the way he works, But I don't
think he's gonna need more strikes because he's gonna probably

(01:27:38):
want to shoot and take this down so that he
kind of so that he can take advantage of what
Rufie got exposed for last time.

Speaker 2 (01:27:46):
Yeah, but Rufie has that one punch knockout power man.

Speaker 1 (01:27:51):
Yeah yeah, and and so and you know me, you
know ex funting nerd Rufie, Rufie definitely can knock him out,
but Physics, he's hard to knock out. So that this ya,
it feels like that this fight, I can't wait to
break that fight down because this tah took.

Speaker 2 (01:28:11):
Azi took a beating from Justin Gaegee in that fight
and he didn't he didn't fall once. So I think
Gaygee punches harder than Rufi.

Speaker 1 (01:28:19):
So yeah, yeah, yep, I agree with that. I mean,
Geech and Phayziv just have that little stucky, little guy body,
you know, and they could take hits. So I mean
even when you look at it, when Phaziv lost the
gammera off by knockout, you know, so he has been
knocked out, but Geige, he was beating the hell out

(01:28:41):
of him near that end of that round. He or
at the end of the fight. He got through them.
But Thenazie pops in goes up against Baha Mondez Baha
Monde is a great, great, great striker, and he got
through him, he got the decision, so he can do
that with with Rufie.

Speaker 2 (01:28:59):
So yeah, I agree, I agree, It's it's gonna be
I think, like you said, that might be fight of
the night.

Speaker 1 (01:29:07):
Yeah, and then you know you got Taya two of
us probably getting beat down by Thalas and t Shera.

Speaker 3 (01:29:13):
You know, but Elliott two of us was always fun
to watch. Man two of Us is he He's the
light skinned Derek Lewis man, you know, And I'm.

Speaker 1 (01:29:27):
Gonna love that right there. I mean to Shara, he
really got exposed last time, so he's gonna need to say.
We got Junior top of versus Billy Alakanana Cana con
Offley versus USA, and then Jimmy Cruton justin Jakobe that
fights a little weird. Those duds are just like wild dudes.
But Crew has been on a tear.

Speaker 2 (01:29:49):
I like Jimmy crup Man.

Speaker 1 (01:29:51):
I like Jimmy. I liked him too last time when
he got that first round submission versus first one.

Speaker 2 (01:29:59):
Yeah, I like crewp Man and I really like the
Dan Hooker saying that he fight too.

Speaker 1 (01:30:05):
Yeah, he's not gonna beat the daylights out of Hooker.
He's gonna try to take him down the way he
did Roofy. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:30:14):
But Dan Hooker he's on the back. He's on the
back half of his career. I like Dan Hooker, he's
always down the bang. But mm hmm, he's just not
the same fighter he was two three years ago. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:30:32):
So you know another fight that's intriguing too is Quilyn Salkidd,
who he brought up as one of the possible rookies
of the year. Yeah, wrong, wrongs. You's a guy that
goes the distance. Sal Kid's gonna be trying to knock
him out. So that's another one of those great fights.
Cam Rouston versus Cody Brundage. Cody Brundage is always always

(01:30:56):
in those fights, So I like that fight. That fight
as well too. And we got our boy Taurres Fitty
versus Jacob malcoun Yeah, it's what what which one kind
of sticks out to you or just just power one?

Speaker 3 (01:31:10):
Yeah, I like the Cody Brundage Cam roast in fight man. Yeah,
Cody Brundage, he's kill or be killed. That's just that's
just who he is. He's eleven seven and one, which
means he loses just as much as he wins.

Speaker 2 (01:31:26):
He's that uh, he's never gonna uh, he's never gonna
be a champ in the UFC, but he's always entertaining.

Speaker 1 (01:31:35):
Yeah, yeah, what's up? What's up? Ashley? You saw you
pop in?

Speaker 2 (01:31:39):
How you doing?

Speaker 1 (01:31:41):
That's good. We're just sitting here going through UF three
three twenty five. We're ending the show pretty soon, but
we're just kind of giving a little bit of talk.
Next week we'll be back covering the divisional round, giving
all the same things that we gave today's same format,
but we'll be closer to three twenty four, so we'll
do a little bit of that and then you know,
get some talking. But dude, you want to talk about
some soup Cans song who Kin versus Don Morphine, Ugo

(01:32:08):
Knakamura versus Sebastian Hizla, Which cord you on? I'm on
three twenty five, Sou Long Wrong bo Vers, Lawrence Lou
Lawrence Lou. Oh yeah, and then arn Aaron I was
I didn't even say Aaron anymore? Erin too. Yeah, first

(01:32:33):
nash Rai Batti bah, Yeah, I know some of them.

Speaker 2 (01:32:40):
I don't know a lot about these guys, but I'm
sure I'm gonna learn.

Speaker 1 (01:32:44):
Dude, this guy has a face tattoo. Tua has a
face tattoo. Oh yeah, this is gonna be great. Dude,
who gets the face tattoo? Right here? Where? You just go?

Speaker 2 (01:32:58):
Ah? Ah? Is that?

Speaker 1 (01:33:03):
You're like? Dude? You know what's even funnier? Are you?
Are you still looking at that?

Speaker 2 (01:33:07):
Yeah? Looks like lou Yeah, what is this?

Speaker 1 (01:33:15):
We got some soup dude? Ki you your Nakamura that
looks like like a twelve year old boy. He looks
like a twelve year old boy. And I'm sorry if
any of you all fans out there. Every once in
a while we like to get crazy, have fun, give
fighters names and talk a little junk on him. But man,
I don't know, dude. Are you a little worried for

(01:33:36):
this guy? A little bit?

Speaker 2 (01:33:37):
But he's he's seven and one?

Speaker 1 (01:33:40):
Yeah, yeah, apparently he's he's good for his strikes. He
goes about five point two two significant strikes landed. He
exhorbs three point thirty nine, rolling over to the the
Sebastian Cisle side. We're looking at four point twenty five,

(01:34:01):
but a one point two seven, So then that means, yeah,
he does, so he's probably more like this. So when
Dan and I go and do the actual fight tape,
we will not be including any of these fights in
our you know, our three twenty five, but you might
get one of them in my five tastic picks because

(01:34:24):
I love finishes, and these four fights right here scream
finish right from the goal like pieces of that.

Speaker 2 (01:34:35):
Yeah, because these are all new guys. They're all just
gonna be throwing hands everyone. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:34:40):
But hey, maybe like so, you know what, but I
see I see that right there. I see his Yeah,
his his strike defense is seventy two, his takedown defense
is eighty five percent. His le is probably gonna walk
through this, dude. But maybe I'm wrong, Maybe I'm wrong.
But that's the best part about the UF. You don't know,
and you got fight come from everywhere. Sometimes it's hard

(01:35:02):
and that's why you need.

Speaker 2 (01:35:04):
So with next or two weeks from now, are we
doing the whole main card?

Speaker 1 (01:35:09):
Yeah? All five, all five, all five for the main card,
that's what we do. So and then so then for
I mean, of course, you know we always do the five.
So you know you're even for so pree twenty five,
you're getting Bulkanowski versus Lopez. You're gonna get Hooker versus
Saint Denis, You're gonna get Hyzi versus Roofie. I could

(01:35:31):
skip the to share a fight if we wanted to
do a couple other fights, like I would do Jimmy
Crut and Dusting to Kobe, and I would do quilland
salkeet in Raju unless you want trade in one of those,
trading for the Cody Run Run fight.

Speaker 2 (01:35:46):
Yeah, we can do whatever, man.

Speaker 1 (01:35:50):
Yeah, so that's where he get free solid. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:35:54):
I can't wait to get back at it.

Speaker 1 (01:35:56):
I know, man, I missed so much about it. Man,
but we've wet, we've we've we took a podcast. It
put up ninety six minutes as of this second right now,
and we gave out. I never gave out my bets.
I never gave out my bets. So everybody that wait
intil the end of the show, now you get eighteen

(01:36:16):
bets from your boy Heat Override. All right, let's get it.
So I'm not gonna give out anything else. I will
do the same thing next week and all of the
bets I'm going to tell you round Robin these you're

(01:36:38):
gonna put some money on this. If you need help
or questions answering to help do the round robin, use
coverd win, get over to Doctor Roto, and you will
be not only our rich friend, because we'll have the
right here for your fantasy season when you win this money.
This is who we're gonna be going with. I got Rams, Packers, Bills,
forty nine Ers, Patriots and winning in this round. That

(01:37:02):
is a plus two twenty six eighty eight sixth leg parlay.
Let's get it now. If you go with Dan, go
with Dan's you're gonna probably be around the same level
because he's got the Steelers winning, which are a big dog,
so he's probably gonna go up to plus thirty two hundred.
But he has the San Francisco, not the forty nine
Ers losing, and that's a plus one eighty eight coming

(01:37:25):
out for a negative one fifteen, So you're gonna be
about the same. So I think if you listened to
earlier in this show and you take Dan's six first legs,
you're going to get that. I think we were we
were even on everybody else. Well, no, so for this
I picked the Patriots, right.

Speaker 2 (01:37:42):
Oh, you picked the Patriots on this one.

Speaker 1 (01:37:44):
I did pick the Patriots for the sixth line, but
I picked the Chargers for my bracket. Gotcha that? I mean, honestly,
I should have probably changed out the Chargers for the Patriots. Oh,
I'll make that so people, here you go, there's another
Take out the Patriots and put the Chargers and have
some more money, right, go along to the next one.

(01:38:07):
Anytime touchdown Davante Adams negative one forty five. He is
the number one touchdown for that game. And because they
know he's gonna be getting looks Josh Jacobs. Nobody's gonna
be thinking about Josh Jacobs. I like Josh Jacobs. This
goes with that. James Cook negative won sixty five, Christian
McCaffrey negative one forty. Of course these are all numbers

(01:38:29):
of today, but may have changed by now. Hunter Henry
plus one sixty five. He does get open and he
will get that touchdown. And Kenneth Gainwell plus two hundred
for a plus sixty five fifty seven. I can't wait.

(01:38:52):
Waits a round robin, that dude, If that would hit
with the round robin, I think off of like it's
five dollars and sixty sense I could probably win, like
like five hundred dollars, probably five hundred dollars. Easy, easy,
All right, let's move along to something I like to do.
Now again, you get into the subs only discord at

(01:39:15):
doctor these bets. I'm not going to have a betting
article at all. Everything's going in the subs only discord.
That's why you gotta be there, and that's how I'm
going to form all these plus you get lose bets,
you get everybody else's bets. Jail and Cocher three receptions
negative two to fifty, Loma Duneesay plus three receptions negative
sixty two. Breton Strange three receptions negative two forty five.

(01:39:39):
I do like it's also was it was also a
negative two forty five. Travis atn two catches was a
negative two forty five. I really liked that too. God
plus four is kind of where they were kind of going,
and I think is God's four was a negative one
to ninety. His three catches was a negative four to ninety.
I kind of wanted like something easy for this parlay,

(01:40:00):
so I threw that in there. We got Lad mcconky
three receptions negative three twenty. John new Smith two reception
negative fifty one. Fifty four. I think John Oh easily
gets that. Johnald's three receptions was I think a plus
one eighty eight. I love building that ladder eight there.
What did you think about those bets? Dan?

Speaker 2 (01:40:21):
I like them, Man, I like them.

Speaker 1 (01:40:24):
That's a plus seven thirty one parlayd I know a
lot of people out there like, bro, you're crazy the
seven thirty one six leg parlay. I'm gonna say no.
But these parlays are made to be round robin so
that you're either go winning big like I just said,
or you're at least covering yourself because there's a lot
of these that are gonna hit, and when they're parlayed together,

(01:40:46):
they're going to become either negative one to eighteens or
plus one o eights and that's how you'll return your money. Dan,
that's another great show.

Speaker 2 (01:40:56):
It was fun. We'll have the next week. Yeah, it
was always it's always long. Now what last week? We
went two hours? Didn't we almost?

Speaker 1 (01:41:11):
It was about an hour and a half, you know.
And the thing is is, I get that a lot
of people don't like to hang out for a lot
of these shows. What do we got coming in? We
just got somebody pop in, so for me when I
see this happening. The reason why these shows go on
is there's just so much content. Next week, we will
we I can redo the best Ball, but we're not

(01:41:34):
going to have the Fantasy Football twenty twenty six playoffs.
We're not going to do our fight prediction next week.
You have to listen to this podcast for that this week.
So when we go to next week, it'll definitely be
shorter because we'll have less content to cover. But this
was a big podcast because we had a lot to cover.
A lot.

Speaker 2 (01:41:50):
Yeah, yeah, we cover We covered a good amount. Man.

Speaker 1 (01:41:53):
That was that was That was a lot of information
and I loved it so man, But damn, I ain't
even got a beer yet, and I need one, and
I'm gonna go crank one right now, and maybe we'll
see each other tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (01:42:06):
Yeah yeah, probably.

Speaker 1 (01:42:09):

Saskia Inwood woke up one morning, knowing her life would never be the same. The night before, she learned the unimaginable – that the husband she knew in the light of day was a different person after dark. This season unpacks Saskia’s discovery of her husband’s secret life and her fight to bring him to justice. Along the way, we expose a crime that is just coming to light. This is also a story about the myth of the “perfect victim:” who gets believed, who gets doubted, and why. We follow Saskia as she works to reclaim her body, her voice, and her life.
