Speaker 1 (00:03):
Get out the insurance cards, get out the copays.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
The office is open.
Speaker 3 (00:07):
My friends brought to your.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
Dot com. So let's get to it. What's up everybody is,
he'd override, and I'm ready to bring the pain for
you this week. Oh yeah, what's up Dan? How you doing?
Speaker 3 (00:30):
What's going on? Man? I'm doing pretty good, doing pretty good.
Had a rough week, but I'm calling now.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
Yeah, it's it's uh.
Speaker 4 (00:38):
I think I've made my own week rough myself.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
So we decided to throw away a lot of appliances
last Thursday, and then we had to throw away a
lot of appliances on Monday, which led to a long
Monday night at karate.
Speaker 4 (00:50):
So yeah, my body's like, hey, you've been doing a
little extra lifting.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
He'd override.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
No lifting, Yeah, I got I feel like that once
a week with the heavy lifting.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
How's the shoulder?
Speaker 3 (01:03):
By the way, I'm probably about eighty percent, probably about eighty.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
So you're you're a little more useful.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
Now, Yeah, I'm a lot more useful. I mean I
stopped wearing it. What ten days in, I stopped wearing
the I was supposed to wear it for two weeks.
Ten days in I stopped wearing it.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
Yeah, I would know. I would I would have. I
couldn't have had something like that on me.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
But I mean, right now, I do have something that's
a discussion for another show. But right now, everybody coming in,
we're you know, we'll let you get in get some
eyes on this thing while we start talking. That's why
I'm trying to warm everything up, having some drinks, having
some fun, crazy wild Card weekend, Divisional weekend. So you
know how the fight club, oh does it. We're gonna
(01:47):
have some bets for you at the end of the show. Also,
the single Entry show ran today earlier at Doctor Roto,
So if you haven't been to the site, get there, youse,
code word win and you could be our rich friend. Actually,
I'm gonna talk talk about one of our almost rich friends,
but soon to yet be rich friend. It's Ninja Posse.
Not only is he coming on Bring the Pain on Tuesday,
(02:09):
two weeks from now, so well you know what I mean,
two weeks, not next week, but next week. He also
won the first round of the Doctor Rodo Chopped League,
and so that means I owe a shirt. So I
gotta get myself on and get that nice Bring the
Pain logo on a shirt. So he has a choice
of the Fight Club of Pain to bring the pain
or my original. Yeah. And then a cool thing about
(02:33):
him that I want to talk about is he went
into the subs only discord today and he shouted us out, me,
Danger and Steve. He listened to the show last week,
took my rankings, talked to Danger, listened to Steve's crazy
self and the next thing you know, this man went
into round two of the Best Ball Championship. That's how
(02:56):
we do it, man, and I love to see that
series that someone took our stuff was able to make it.
But Dan, our show was fire last week.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
Man, it was fun. It was fun. Last week. We
went a long time. We had a long time. A
lot of a lot of content too, Man, we put
out a lot of content.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
Yes, we don't mind the Beastie Boys.
Speaker 3 (03:17):
I remember, I'm a I'm a I'm an old school
fan man, Mike D. Mike D was my dude back
in the day.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
Yeah, so I always listened to the Beastie Boys. I
never actually owned one of their tape. I just dubbed
it from one of my friends. I mean, who didn't
do that back then? I mean, but at that point
in my life. I was coming out of Bobby Brown
and going into Spice one. So for me, it was
like I was going into gangster rap and I kind
of wasn't really listening to that type of Rap's.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
That's awesome. He's the m I k E to the
d Yeah, that's what I dude.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
Yeah, you know Magic, Mike acts DJ Magic.
Speaker 4 (04:01):
Mike samples the drop from there, but he goes, hmmm, draw.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
That's actually one of Mad DJ Magic Mike's most used. Well,
he's probably got more, So don't hold me to it,
because if Magic was watching this, Magic would be like,
he'd override you were wrong, and you would probably tell
us because that made as smart. He's probably got Like
I've used that that clip about one hundred million times.
I'd be like, what you counted that he'd be like it.
And I'm not lying people.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
Mike is a genius YO DJ Magic Mike genius.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
So what our channel is about? So Bring the Pain
covers DFS and seasonal sports IDP side of Doctor Rodo
overall on the Fight Club of Pain. The Fight Club
of Pain covers UFC events every single week, giving you
DFS lineups, giving you bets that hit every single time
big twenty nine hundred bets, throwing down the parlay of pain,
(04:52):
going five to oh four and one round, robining that
and making that money. We we have nailed knockedouts this year,
right there.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
Yeah, and we give you the best soup, the best
soup of the week. Man, we start up soup. So yeah,
we got the suit.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Can we got the soup? Can open. Man, we're out
of here thinking everybody's got a cow bell and stuff.
So that's what we're about. That's what that's what I like,
the pride my show. A lot of shows disappear at
this time of the year. We don't. We don't and
UFC is year round practically, so that's what's gonna That's
why adding UFC to the Doctor Rhodo brand was such
a huge success. And to get that first year, how
(05:31):
much money I was able to make and to see
it see the NFL for me only knows that year
one was a total success for Dan and I. So
I hope you stay on. If you love the USA,
if you just love betting, if you just love winning money,
if you love the challenge of it, the thrill, that's
what got But today we are I'm going to be
giving out my top five top five positions for best
(05:52):
Ball Draft right now.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
You could take it or leave it now.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Also on Saturday, I will be doing the Ultra Contrarian
Show with Steve.
Speaker 4 (05:59):
We have been fire, like literally fire, so.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
I hope you can get back on this week because man,
that man has preached some goal this year. So it's
been really He's been a great addition to this show,
as well as Dan coming on as a podcaster for
the first time in his life and making the Fight
Club of Pain such a success. And I owe all
that success to both Dan and Steve, so thank you both.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
Hey, I'm just a sidekick, bro, I'm just your saying.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
That sometimes a sidekick is what makes the teamwork. And
for me, sometimes numbers get really boring and then sometimes you.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
Get my crazy side.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
Oh ye man, well let's talk about it.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
Wild Card weekend, dude.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
Okay, So I know on the show my picks in
my bracket, I got two losses. However, I went five
to one on that parlay that we gave out last
week for picks man, and I had the Patriots, So
I got two losses.
Speaker 4 (06:58):
How many losses did you get?
Speaker 3 (06:59):
Dan? Let me see, I picked the Rams, the Rams.
Speaker 5 (07:03):
One.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
I picked Philly, Philly lost. I picked green Bay, Green
Bay lost. I picked Buffalo Buffalo one. Uh. And I
picked Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh lost so well. I was two and three. Yeah,
I was two and three of them. That was three
(07:26):
and three.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
That's not bad.
Speaker 4 (07:28):
You picked you. You picked underdogs for a reason.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
So that therefore, I want to say w w X stands.
Thank you so much. I am. I am happy to
that you everybody, man, thank you dude. We will not
not let you down. I swear it is hard. I
will tell you I didn't know what UFC and NFL
would be like because I do the baseball betting on
the weekends for Saturday and Sunday so well, and first
(07:56):
you know that starts up with MLB. But I needed something,
so that's why the UFC kind of came in and
kind of made that. But man, I'll tell you when baseball,
UFC and football was going on for those first few weeks,
it was a storm. But you know what, that's what
we do. That's the commitment we do.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
Man.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
I love it. I like doing this thing for fun
and I like just being able to put out some
big numbers. Some things that people came on this stream
and said that that wasn't gonna happen, and then it happened.
It happened, the knockouts, the taps, the early wins and
things like that.
Speaker 4 (08:26):
So, so what teams do you mostly pick for?
Speaker 3 (08:30):
Well, I'm a Steeler fan, so I veer towards them,
but I don't talk about the betting aspect. I do
the breakdowns of each fight. Rob here, he that's the
man you got to talk to you right there. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
So Dan's an occasional better and most of the time,
if it's gonna be a bet, it's gonna be UFC.
I am trying to get him on that that UFC
best ball aft, that the draft that DraftKings does. Oh man,
I've been talking about that. You can make some easy
money three min contest. You put in it, you pick
your best four fighters, it best balls up, and that's
(09:11):
just the best sauce, you know. So, of course last
week I just said it like I said, I had
the Chargers lose, I had Green Bay lose. Of course
I picked Rams San Francisco, I did pick the Bills,
and I picked the Patriots. So for me, that worked
overall for me. Got another one coming in here. So
he's a Ravens fans us. He does have a greater chance. Yeah, yeah,
(09:34):
you know the thing that we say.
Speaker 3 (09:38):
I appreciate Ravens fans man. You're in the same predictament
we are. We don't neither of us have coaches right now.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
I'm a Rams fan, as you can see, horns up
Rams Nation last week. If a lot of you missed it, though,
that's who I have meeting in the Super Bowl is
the Bills in the Rams. So this week, you know
we're talking about those games, Let's let's talk about Buffalo
taking care of Jacksonville. What did you see in that game?
Just the better team?
Speaker 3 (10:06):
I don't think that, truthfully, I don't think the better
whole team won that won that game. Okay, I think
the Jags have a better team, But I think Buffalo
has the best quarterback in the league.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
And the playoffs right now, other than Matt Stafford.
Speaker 3 (10:26):
I just really think they have the best guy at
the helm in the most important position in all of
sports playing. I agree with you.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
I agree that what's up Daniel happened Thursday. We're ready
to bring the pain. It's crazy with no football. What's up? Hegan.
Good to see you as well too. Had sex with
no football that But I love the weekends we got,
but we need some UFC, man, we need some UFC.
Speaker 4 (10:53):
We got that.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
So I agree with you one hundred percent. I think
the Bills wide receiver problem reminds me of the Steelers problem,
which was exposed again this weekend.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
No, no, no, no, they're not even at that. They're not
even close to as bad as the Steelers problem. Is
it receiver bad? Yeah, everybody says that. Man, It's just
it's been the same since the night, since the early
eighties or late eighties when I started watching it.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
Yeah, you know many times that things like look look scripted.
It's kind of crazy, and then when the rest get involved,
it's like what what they just get out of here
with that? But you know, I think for the most
part last week it was solid. It was solid. There
was a couple of plays, but there was solid, solid
ref play. So yeah, I mean, you got the ball,
(11:44):
you know, Josh Allen went down, he did what he
had to do. He took care of it. He manned up.
He made sure that every one of those short yardage situations.
Speaker 4 (11:51):
Mind you, the whole.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
First the measuring of the metered ball and he didn't
think about it at first, but he really got it
and he had to use the all for the first out.
He was so crucial.
Speaker 4 (12:02):
So again, that was another key moment Chargers in New England.
Did you feel that.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
The Chargers were just outclassed or is Justin Herbert not
that good?
Speaker 3 (12:12):
Now? I feel bad for Justin Herbert because he does
not have an offensive line and that man got beat up, Like, hey,
you saw it at the end of the game that
the in the fourth quarter that last draft when he
got sacked. He didn't want to get up. He didn't
want to get up. He was done. He was absolutely done.
It was like, I feel bad for that man.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
That dude was wearing a like he was wearing his
chin strapped like this on.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
His nose, yeah, on his nose.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
On his nose, and he moved it. I was like,
what wrong with this man? I was like, dude, move
that mouth piece. He was getting so beat I think
he just left there because at this point it was pointless.
So that was hilarious. I just take it. I wanted
to make a show. But when they try to misbeat them, yeah, yeah,
(13:04):
I don't. I will say though that you know that
that happens in sports all the time. And that's what
we saw last week with the San Francisco forty nine ers.
I mean, we could pop over to that game real quick,
San Francisco at Philly.
Speaker 4 (13:17):
What do you think I know? I mean, I don't
think we're moving too fast.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
What do you think about San Francisco beating Philly even
though you picked Philly?
Speaker 3 (13:23):
What happened? I absolutely love it. And they exposed that
Philadelphia offense. They exposed that Philadelphia offense. They are one sided.
They cannot throw the ball. He when when you put
Jalen hurts under pressure and he does not have at
least six seconds to throw the ball, he cannot hit
(13:46):
the blind side of the barn.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
No, I don't.
Speaker 3 (13:50):
And that's what it is. He's good, but he's not great.
He's played on great teams.
Speaker 4 (13:58):
Yeah, he's regulaching.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
He played on two great teams the last two years.
This team isn't great. This team is kind of average.
It's kind of average. So it showed his offensive line
could not hold up and as soon as you pressure him,
he folds.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
That's right. And you know this goes back to the
discussion we had that one week about the running quarterbacks,
and I'll still stand on that mountain. A running quarterback
will never last as long as like a quarterback like
Tom Brady. What Tom Brady did playing into the mid
forties was insane, But asking a running quarterback to play
(14:38):
twenty years is almost like suicide.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
Jalen Hurts is not gonna last half as long as
Matthew Stafford.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
That is that I agree with that. I will make that,
I think honestly. Right now with the Eagles, all the
Eagles fans are calling for AJ Brown to be destroyed.
They don't want him on a team anymore, and that
going to be the eventual collapse. And but I don't
I don't understand that. I don't understand the whole A J.
Brown thing. AJ Brown. AJ Brown is open and when
(15:11):
he when he gets thrown the ball, he catches the ball. Yeah,
he never gets thrown the ball.
Speaker 3 (15:17):
He gets he gets what four or five targets a game.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
He's had some ten eleven target games. But regardless you
are correct, those games that he doesn't seem that he's
completely forgotten about. And then he starts pitching about it. Yeah,
and then it happens. But he's got a bit of
his thing. But that sideline, did you see him on
the sideline?
Speaker 3 (15:35):
Yeah yeah, I thought I thought he was going to
beat up his coach.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
Yeah yeah, because he's done with this crap. He people,
this was it for Hurts. He was and this happened
exactly what happened with Murray this year. This year, I
think a lot of NFL teams just shut down those
running quarterbacks. But quarterbacks like Daniel Jones were able to
flourish because they were sneaky, because they have a decent arm.
Speaker 4 (16:00):
And don't think I like Danny Jones by any stretch.
That dude a bum. But he was having a great
year up until that injury.
Speaker 3 (16:07):
How much do we get from picking teams? We don't
get a dime, brother, nothing.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
Well, we get so on my betting side and everything
that we do with Roto, it's what you make on
picking the teams. It's this is it. This is the bets.
So if you're putting five bucks down or ten bucks
down or thirteen bucks down on these bets at the end,
one thing I will tell you is that's something that
we like to teach. You can take your shots like
the first or second round knockouts in the UFC that
(16:35):
we nail, and or you can take those those minute
rounds that we've almost nailed a few times this year,
and that kind of gives you that chance of the
big money. However, I like to keep everything in a
five pack. The parlay of pain, there's five legs, the
five pastic picks that also becomes a parlay, and all
that stuff is at doctoroto dot com behind the paywall
(16:56):
and at the SubSol League Discords. The only place that
I put that stuff other than when Dan and I
go live, like next week on Thursday, when we do
UFC three twenty four. Completely that rate there you will
have all the bets you're gonna get, like thirty or
forty bets.
Speaker 4 (17:13):
So for me, my limit is my unit is five.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
I play five because I play so much, so when
I double up and I say I play two units,
it goes ten A lot of the times when I
parlay and I round robin, my round robins are usually
round quarters per legs, because let's face it, people, if
you're around five, you're putting twenty seven bets in twenty seven.
You put twenty seven times five dollars, you're gonna get
you already see the math. But the thing is is
(17:40):
that by the.
Speaker 4 (17:40):
End of the year, Dan and I were hitting so
many positives.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
The Probaly of Pain was hitting five and zero, four one,
four and one in the fantastic pits, We're going four
and one, four and one, four and one. That you
were getting the better part of that round robin. And
it was continuously building money. So that's what I like
in what a lot of other experts at Doctor rot
like to teach at Doctor Rowe is to build a
bank roll, take your chances, see where you can end up,
(18:05):
and let's all win some money.
Speaker 4 (18:06):
And that's how we do it.
Speaker 3 (18:08):
And if you don't understand it, if you've never watched
the UFC and you don't you don't know what to
look for. We break down every fight. We literally, we
literally break down every fight. I will tell you what
the fighters look for, what the fighter, how the fighter fights,
how the fighter, you know, how good he is a
defense and we break down absolutely everything.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
Yeah, and we and a little thing. That's what I
feel has made the Fight Club of Pain so good
is because we have been able to nail combination finishes
and that comes from watching the fight tape because let's
face it, machines are gonna do. Machines own the NFL
during DFS season. By the end of the season, they
(18:53):
have so much data that it's almost hard to beat them.
And then you've got people max entering. Yeah, and that's
a great strategy. If you could max enter one hundred
and fifty lineups, throw it in for Dolly, put one
hundred and fifty bucks up, you win first place. Fifty k,
like Trevor Hillstrom has did many times for Doctor Rodeo,
get a fifty K hit four or five six weeks back.
He just did fifty k last Sunday. He played the
(19:14):
four o'clock mainslate only there was three games.
Speaker 4 (19:17):
Get fifty k on that.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
We're talking three hours of football making fifty k off
a four hundred and forty dollars bet. So you know,
that's what you do with that, and that's what we teach.
Once you hit, Like when Trevor hit the five hundred K,
he was he was easily just going to keep cashing
the rest of the year, and so that's that's how
you use that.
Speaker 4 (19:38):
But with the UFC, you can't predict a one two combo.
Speaker 2 (19:42):
You can't predict a choke out things like Chris Duncan
doing the Neil Man. We can, we can now, we can,
we can't and we have we have so and we can't.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
We will continue, we will.
Speaker 2 (19:59):
We're losing one of mine. I was gonna you know,
I had that fight going under between Harrison and Uniaz.
We are going to talk that that fight too.
Speaker 3 (20:06):
So I had I had, I had to going under two.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
I had it. I had the first I thought it
was gonna last longer than the first round because I
thought Harrison was too Yeah, I was gonna do the
two in three rounds.
Speaker 3 (20:19):
You thought it's gonna be done second round knockout unions.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
Yep, yep, yep. I agree it all right, He's good, Okay.
I get that an extension to trust five dollars. So
what I would do with that five hundred dollars is
I would spread it out, you know, spread it out.
Take that five hundred, Put the two fifty if you
if you want to get frog, you put the two
fifty on the main lineup right, and then you're gonna pay.
You would play ten dollars per parlay line for the rest,
(20:46):
so all your parlay's gonna hit And I always put
a money line parlay in there, so you're getting five fighters,
and I constantly nail that parlay. Dan. Of course, we
also do the show. When we do the show, we
the fights that we cover. So this week we have
five fights. We always five cover five fights for the
major events for the UFC. For the fight nights, we
(21:08):
got three, so we just do three and then we
talk a little bit about more bets and things like that,
so it kind of makes it a little easier. Other
shows cover the whole thing. We look and we dive
into three fights that can make a difference and then
the rest of my articles and everything comes out on
the website. So that's how we.
Speaker 3 (21:27):
And this season you're getting a soup can hit on this.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
So yeah, yes, you're gonna have the soup Can of
the week. That's gonna be a dance special. So again
the parlay of pain soup can DFS lineups, we got
DFS hero. We have a partnership with them code where
doc gets you twenty percent off your subscription and then
you use that DFS simulator and you five that we
have our own simulator and we use their simulator because
(21:53):
that's just what happens when you have partnerships and stuff
like that. So that's what we try to do. So
like when we do the Ultra Contrarian Show this weekend Saturday,
you're going to get the DFS lineup for that Saturday.
You're gonna get the DFS lineup for the entire weekend.
You're gonna get my lineup. You're gonna get Steve's fixed,
Steve's lineups and Steve Swago pick of the week.
Speaker 4 (22:11):
As long as well as the Macho Pick of the week.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
So that being said, that's just that's what I give
out free on this And then if you sen to
Doctor Roto listen to Danger and everybody else's podcast, especially
Doctor Rot's, that's gonna be good. But now the football's done,
that's all gonna go away pretty much. The Fight Club
of Pain will be other than the PGA. They do
a lot of golf, so that's gonna be big. So
it'll be golf and UFC practically taking over for most
(22:37):
of the podcasting at Doctor Rode going forward until baseball.
Speaker 3 (22:41):
All right, man, take it easy, all right.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
Have a good one stance. Thanks for coming in and
jump in talking with us. Come back anytime. But so
let's get let's get back onto the track. So all right,
so let's get the Green Bay in Chicago. Green Bay's
up twenty one to three. Dude, and the.
Speaker 3 (23:01):
Man, we were texting each other during that game. I
was like, this game's over, this game was over.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
And then miss field goals.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
O dude, I don't know how Green Bay's defense just
pissed that game away. They pissed it away.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
They started picking up bombs and letting Swift run up
the middle on.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
Them, and yeah, they they just ate them up. Dude.
They started playing prevent defense in the second quarter. That's
what happened. They played prevat defense for three quarter, three
out of four quarters.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
Yeah, because everything underneath was opening.
Speaker 3 (23:45):
Williams.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
You know, I've ragged on Williams, but if you're gonna
give any quarterback in the NFL, especially one that has
skilled like Williams, they're gonna torch you, man, They're gonna
torch you apart.
Speaker 4 (23:56):
And that's what happened.
Speaker 2 (23:57):
And I really thought that this was I was I
was completely wrong on Jacob's But Jacobs had like forty
nine yards rushing at half or something like that. He
was running the ball and he came out they weren't
giving him the ball. They were kicking field goals, and
it was like the Packers just were like, hey, let's
get everybody involved. But getting everybody involved didn't win the game.
(24:19):
And then your defense got last.
Speaker 3 (24:23):
I don't know, like I don't know if Mike Tomlin
started coaching the Green Bay Packers at halftime, but it
was just it was just an epic fail from halftime on.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
Man, all right, we'll leave Pittsburgh for last. Since it's
your team, I'll do the Rams in Carolina right now. Man.
The Rams almost lost that game, but we held strong,
we did great, and Pooka tore them apart.
Speaker 3 (24:58):
Bro, that was a nail ighter. That was a nail fighter. Dude.
When they when when Carolina scored in the fourth quarter
to take the lead, yeah, I almost I almost text
you like what the is going on? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (25:18):
I was really really worried about that. I was like,
why are we doing this this?
Speaker 3 (25:22):
Sup? I looked at my daughter. I was like, I
guarantee you Rabbi ish screaming at the TV right now?
Speaker 2 (25:30):
Oh dude, I was. I was like, you know, if
this was a game, if this was a night night game,
and I would have been drinking. I wouldn't have got violent.
I'm just not that type of guy. But Christy be watching.
I okay, so Christy did rip on me. She that's
my wife for anybody. I went over to the doorway
and I just put my hands up like this, just
on the doorway. I was just on the doorway. She
(25:52):
went and told Mollie about that, ma daughter, and she goes,
she goes, yeah, I heard she was just grabbing the doorway. Yes,
I was. I was grabbing the doorway. I was. It was.
Speaker 3 (26:08):
It was a nail biter. But Matthew Stafford he's the
best quarterback in the league. He really is. I mean,
I mean he has been since Detroit. Well you know
I'm a Lions fan. Yeah, he's been the most consistent
quarterback in the league. And he's just getting better and better. Uh.
(26:34):
I think his vision, I think his vision gets better
every year.
Speaker 4 (26:38):
I just want to That's a big thing. Sorry, go on.
Speaker 3 (26:41):
Just seeing the defense and seeing the throws before he
makes him. Yeah, he's so good. He's so good. And
between him and Alan Man, I would I want to
see that super Bowl. I want to see that Super Bowl.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
That's gonna be crazy. Having that Ram defense running around.
You know something that you say and I think, and
I'll say this. Stafford was always known for his arm.
So as he's gotten older, whereas like Tom Brady's arm
started kind of declining. We saw it where he's gonna
shut down Charlie's and stuff, Stafford still smacking that long
ball right now.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
He got that. He got that Aaron Rodgers arm. Throw
it seventy yards for no reason.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
It's all about the way they throw that ball. That's
a big thing. And that's why quarterbacks like Jalen Hurts
just don't succeed, is because like everybody forgets when they go, oh,
it's fullty, it's football. There's the tire, there's the tire,
and you want to throw it in the field. You
got to throw the ball through the tire in the field.
Jalen Hurts couldn't do that. That's a fact. That's a
(27:57):
fat duty. He just if you put the tire right
and you put a bus behind the tire, he would
hit the dirt. He would hit the dirt because that's
what Jalen Hurts does. But Stafford, and and I wouldn't
say so much, al but Stafford would send that ball
(28:17):
right through the tire into a window on the bus,
out the other window on the other side of the bus,
to a receiving scarecrow in the field down the street.
Speaker 3 (28:29):
Yeah, congratulations, I guess wipe your ass. I don't know
what else to say.
Speaker 2 (28:41):
We're a wild but fight those fight nights.
Speaker 3 (28:45):
Man.
Speaker 2 (28:46):
You start talking about these fights and things, and things
just get going and it just gets wild. And I'm
telling you right now, when we get to the Waldope Courts,
a costa fight versus Derek Lewis, you could have some
fun one on that one.
Speaker 3 (29:00):
Needy men slapping me, Jos grease and bravy for sale
at the soup kitchen.
Speaker 2 (29:10):
So let's get to the Pittsburgh game. Pittsburgh Houston. Every
time Stroud with shotgun, he fumbled, he fumbled, and you
guys only got two of them and one was an interception.
I've never seen anything like that. That game was so
sloppy and you guys had so many chances to win it.
(29:33):
But what the hell happened?
Speaker 3 (29:35):
Dan?
Speaker 2 (29:35):
All Right?
Speaker 3 (29:36):
So I was there, Yes, you were there. I was
at the game. So and I'm just gonna I gotta
tell this story man, before I before.
Speaker 2 (29:48):
I uh, that's what we do give us stories.
Speaker 3 (29:51):
Before before I talk about the game. I gotta tell
the story. So the guy sitting right next to me,
he was just terribly drunk, like terribly joking, told me
he was there since noon. Right, he was down there
since noon. So he's swaying in his seat during the
(30:12):
during during the uh no, during the the coin toss.
So he's standing up and he's swaying during the coin toss. Right.
So Pittsburgh kicks off. We were playing defense. The defense
makes a big stop. Everybody's going crazy, terrible towels waving.
(30:34):
He's sound asleep, sound asleep. Right, we get the ball.
Aaron Rodgers throws that quick pass to start the game. Beautiful.
Everybody's waving their terrible towels. Yeah, let's go, let's go.
Speaker 5 (30:50):
He wakes up and goes defense, and he goes back
and he goes back to sleep, back to sleep, right,
So we end up we end up punting, So give
the ball back to Houston.
Speaker 3 (31:07):
We stop him again. But when we're on defense, this
guy's like, Rogers, let's go, and he goes back to sleep.
So he was Yeah, so he's like a ten minute
to lay.
Speaker 6 (31:26):
But so we get we get that first we get
this first, we get that first fumble recovery, right, boom
fumble recover.
Speaker 3 (31:40):
Crowd goes nuts. He stands up and goes crazy and
he's like yeah, and then he stands the every everybody
else sits down. He's still standing there and he pisses
his pants and he fell into the row in front
of us.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
That's plastic.
Speaker 3 (32:03):
It was beautiful. It was beautiful. It made every dollar
that ticket worth it to go to go.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
That's that's awesome. What's up, Mike vic fan, how you
doing today? Yeah? Aaron Rodgers a lot. He gets a
lot of bad rap, but I don't mind him. But man,
I've heard this. I think the Steelers fans. I heard
a lot of Steeler fans hate Aaron Rodgers and a
lot of that hate turning into Tomlin.
Speaker 3 (32:28):
Okay, so I'm okay. We're we're gonna talk about the
game first and then we'll go we'll go to coaching
the game. The Steelers played great defense for three quarters.
For three quarters, they played great defense. They had three turnovers,
they held they held them to seven points on offense.
Speaker 2 (32:53):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 3 (32:54):
They could not move the ball, and you called it
screens to your boy. The tight end. God you can
say about no no, no, no no on off on the
Steelers offense.
Speaker 4 (33:14):
Oh John Smith.
Speaker 3 (33:16):
Yeah no, John hus Smith, you called it. He would
get three receptions and guess what he got. He got
four receptions and he got negative seventeen yards on those
four receptions.
Speaker 2 (33:30):
That's why I don't play yards. I just want the catch.
Just give me the catch.
Speaker 3 (33:34):
So he caught the ball on a screen pass. M hmm,
didn't turn around, ran backwards three steps and got tackled.
How how does this work? How was that man ever
a pro bowler?
Speaker 4 (33:54):
Because he's played for the Dolphins and he was the
only option.
Speaker 3 (33:58):
So the Aaron Rodgers hadn't nowhere to go. He couldn't
throw the ball. DK dropped three passes. Two of them
would have been touchdowns if you were there.
Speaker 2 (34:13):
What he caught it wrong? He went to catch it
like this. He should have caught it like this.
Speaker 3 (34:17):
Two of them were touchdowns. He was wide open. There
there was at the game. There was no one around
him for fifteen yards.
Speaker 2 (34:27):
Mm hmmm mm hm.
Speaker 4 (34:29):
And so that looks different in life than it did
on him.
Speaker 3 (34:33):
Yeah, he missed all three. Boom hit him right in
his hands. You catch that ball. You're getting paid millions
of dollars. You catch that ball, it would have been
a different game. But I don't blame DK. I actually
don't blame tom Win either. You know. I'm not a
big Mike Tomlin fan.
Speaker 2 (34:51):
Yep, but his.
Speaker 3 (34:56):
I think he left because his message ran its course.
Speaker 2 (35:02):
I can agree.
Speaker 3 (35:04):
There's no such thing as that defense anymore. There's no
such thing as a run heavy only pass when you
have to offense anymore. There's no such thing as the
early two thousands coaching anymore. You you have to evolve,
and he never did. I give thanks to Mike Tomlin
(35:25):
for everything he brought to the to the Steelers, but uh,
it was time for a change.
Speaker 2 (35:32):
Yeah. And you know it's sad because I actually do
like Mike Tomlin. And here's the thing, you guys, what Okay,
So when Dick for Meal retired, we got Mike Martz,
and Mike Martz was a offensive.
Speaker 4 (35:48):
Genius, but a buffoon everywhere else.
Speaker 2 (35:51):
Yeah, and then we got Steve Spagnola. Offense got sucked,
offense got hurt. And then of course we got Jeff Fisher.
Defense was great, offense was slow. Let me talking all
these running backs during these times you guys are going
through Willie Parker Le'Veon Bell, so you're establishing this run
(36:12):
this run team. You had James Connor, of course, so
you had you've always had left that stellar running back
wheres like the Rams. Stevin Jackson lifted way too many
weights and lifted hisself right out the NFL, because I
remember that was the one year he began. He was
they were playing the Eagles and he busted like a
fifty yard run and pulled a quad and was out
for like six games. Like you, you lifted way too much, bro,
(36:35):
But I love him. He's one of my favorite Rams
of all time. Of course, and so you know when
you get these teams and you see them run their course,
like Jeff Fisher's defense just wasn't flashy Spagnel's defense, you know,
going from the Muddy Quinn and everything like that, and
then Kevin Carter Muddy Quinn years and then you know
eventually Aaron Donald when we got there. That was all
part of that now that but it failed. It failed
(36:57):
on offense. We had quarterback problems, We had all these
So sometimes it's nice to have nineteen years of stability,
but sometimes it takes a coach like Sean mcvada actually
win a Super Bowl as opposed to sometimes bringing in
a coach like Mike Martz losing a Super Bowl.
Speaker 4 (37:14):
And then going completely chaotic after.
Speaker 2 (37:17):
So that might be your future.
Speaker 3 (37:21):
My thing is the defense was still running the same
Dick Lebo defense that they did in two thousand and two.
In two thousand and two, it was it was cutting edge,
it was never done before. But in twenty twenty six,
(37:42):
now everyone's seen it for ten plus years and everyone knows,
everyone knows how to beat it. I mean, you can't
run the same system every year and expect things to
be different.
Speaker 4 (37:58):
Yeah, yeah, you can.
Speaker 2 (38:00):
That's I mean, you guys have always had that strong
defense running offense. But as you've seen, the Rams were
kind of sorry after Isaac Bruce left, after a Holt left.
You know, we went through a bunch of bad receivers
and I mean they were okay, whatever, good, but they
weren't gonna win it for us. And it took the
Rams finally getting it, finally getting Cooper Cup and then
(38:24):
getting Jared Goff and then making that run losing and
then the Rams making that trade for Stafford to bring
that Super Bowl. So but that comes with a strong coach.
Sean mcvayh is a strong coach, but we may not
have him meant much longer. He's young, he has a family.
He's already did insurmountable things that a lot of other
coaches aren't going to do by being able to dig
(38:45):
his team to two super Bowls with a chance of
a third Super Bowl coming up right now. And for me,
that's that's that's what you need in a coach. But
we're gonna see other teams make bad hires right now.
There's like around fourteen to fifteen offensive court John's open.
There's what nine coaching vacancies open? You guys have one
(39:06):
of them?
Speaker 3 (39:07):
Eighty?
Speaker 2 (39:09):
Yeah, John in New York. We are well, we will
talk about that.
Speaker 3 (39:14):
So do you.
Speaker 2 (39:15):
Let's get to that next. But do you think that
Brian Flores is your next coach?
Speaker 3 (39:20):
I don't. I don't. I think I think your offensive
courtaker for sure.
Speaker 2 (39:32):
No.
Speaker 3 (39:33):
The other dude, what's his name? Uh? It starts it
starts with an S. Starts with an S.
Speaker 2 (39:41):
You know, as I should know this, but starts with
I got it. It's Nate she'l hasse.
Speaker 3 (39:51):
I think that's our next head coach.
Speaker 4 (39:53):
That's how you say it. There's like twenty e's in
that name.
Speaker 3 (39:56):
Yeah, I think that's what. I think that's the Steelers
next head coach. And I think he m hm, I
think we get other coaches to coach other positions because
everyone on the Steelers was told that none of their
contracts are being extended, so every coach is basically gone.
I hope we keep Danny Smith because Danny Smith is
(40:18):
a great special teams coach and the players and the
players love him. I hope we keep him. Uh, there's
a few others, like our our wide receivers coach is great.
Speaker 2 (40:35):
Your Oh, dude, the Rams coordinator was Mike Lafleur. But
you said the S guys, So I gave you the
S guy.
Speaker 3 (40:43):
Yeah, it's his name starts with the coordinator. Yeah, the
passing game coordinator.
Speaker 2 (40:48):
Mm hmm. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (40:50):
I think that's going to be our next head coach because, uh,
they're saying, they're saying he's number one, and the Steelers
have called him multiple times.
Speaker 2 (40:59):
So he did interview with the Ravens three hours ago
where he's too too. He's going to interview with the Ravens.
I heard Mike McDaniels thrown around. But I think Mike
McDaniel's gonna end up going to Cleveland. I think Chris
Shula is gonna and I know a lot of people
said this are gonna go to the Dolphins because that
whole you know, Shula Dolphins crap.
Speaker 4 (41:19):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (41:21):
So I think he goes there. But it's gonna be
fun to see. I think Flores could be strong because
I was.
Speaker 3 (41:27):
I would love to see I would have loved to
see Flores here. He was already here for one year
and he made the defense so much better.
Speaker 7 (41:34):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (41:34):
T J. Watt tied the sack sack record that year
that he was here.
Speaker 2 (41:40):
That's awesome.
Speaker 3 (41:41):
Our defense. Our defense was stout and uh they didn't
let up a lot of points. We also had Kenny
Pickett miss Trubisky and we made the playoffs. I I
like that guy and that that's another thing I give
to Mike Tomlin. Uh. With the exception of Ben Roethlisberger.
(42:04):
He he played with Duck Hodges, Mason Rudolph, Yeah, Michael
Vick on his last legs. Yeah. Uh? Who else mitched Trubisky?
Speaker 4 (42:20):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (42:21):
Can he Pickett? Russell Wilson, Russell Wilson? Uh? Justin fields
and and now we have Aaron Rodgers. I mean, he
played with so many quarterbacks and we still made the
playoffs and we still had a winning record. So I
(42:42):
get I give him that, but I think he just
didn't have that extra own or the team didn't have
that extra own, because I think he was looking for
glory and past glory players.
Speaker 2 (43:00):
Yeah, yeah, so I think I like your approach to
this as well too, going going young. I mean, right now,
Nate Silhas, I think that's how I'm gonna say.
Speaker 3 (43:09):
Shiel Haas, that's Diamond Dano.
Speaker 2 (43:13):
Yeah, that would be an if you could Yeah, I
remember you, Diamond, if you could put a bet in
on that being the offense the head coach for the Steelers.
I bet that BET's a plus thirty five hundred. That's crazy,
that's crazy. I bet that.
Speaker 4 (43:28):
I don't even know if that bet exists.
Speaker 2 (43:30):
I know with DK, they got this new thing called
DK bets Futures or whatever, and they're trying to bet
on the stock. Now you can bet on the stock
on DK, so I mean, it's it's fun. But I
wonder if that's on there. I'll have to check out
for that because it might be worth it. I mean,
you throw down a couple.
Speaker 4 (43:44):
Of dollars, you get seventy eighty dollars back.
Speaker 2 (43:46):
Let's throw it on the.
Speaker 4 (43:47):
Super Bowl, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (43:49):
Yeah, But from what I'm hearing throughout like the sports world,
the Steelers are the most are the least interesting team
to be a head coach at.
Speaker 2 (44:02):
Yeah, you guys do have some cap room though I
think it's around sixty nine millionaire billion.
Speaker 3 (44:07):
We have a lot of cap room, and we have
a lot of draft picks, But you're inheriting so much
prestige and so much so much turmoil if you want
to be yeah that way, I don't. I don't think
a lot of people want to take the job right now.
Speaker 2 (44:27):
So this is why I feel that Tomlin kind of
it was time for him to leave as well. I
will agree with you this because he's looking at a
rebuild and and they have failed at some quarterback, you know,
Picket being one of them that was supposed to be
their young quarterback that was going to take to the
next level. Instead of they got was Mason Rudolph two
point zero Mason Rudolph the same thing, And it just
(44:50):
was like they they're just there, they're just like, can
he Pickett? Just I don't know who's worse, Rudolph or Picket, but.
Speaker 3 (44:57):
The Mason, Rudolph Mason, Rudolph's worse than kind of thing.
Speaker 2 (45:01):
Okay, I gotta read that. Yeah, So for me, it's that,
it's it's it's past that you're you're getting. You got
some good running backs. You got DK Metcalf, You need
your number two, you got money to bring one in.
Your tight ends are fine wine. Whatever defense is good,
defense is young. They'll figure that out. They they have,
(45:22):
they have a core enough of that defense good. I mean,
he's good in harmony. He was he that's your that's
your youth.
Speaker 3 (45:33):
So for me, we got old man cam Yeah, we
got we got old man t J. And we got
old man Ramsey yep.
Speaker 4 (45:42):
Yeah, Well Ramsey safety.
Speaker 3 (45:44):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (45:44):
I like the Ramsey safety. You guys keep him back
that you can hold on that.
Speaker 3 (45:49):
Did did you watch every Steeler game with him at safety?
Speaker 2 (45:54):
You played better at safety than he did at corner?
Speaker 3 (45:58):
Then he shouldn't he shouldn't play.
Speaker 2 (46:03):
He's a tackler. Yeah, he's a tackler. Now he's that's
what he developed into. You know, used to be that
guy where he would shut you down. But more so
I think maybe this might be like a Stevin Jackson
thing where he's just gotten to the point where he's
like an above average player, but he's solid for tackles
and that's why he's where he's at.
Speaker 3 (46:22):
Yeah, he in coverage, he's a liability no matter where
he's at. He he's too slow to keep up with
these young guys. And yeah, at safety, you have to
cover the slot, or you have to cover over the top,
and these guys are at full speed and you're you're
running backwards.
Speaker 2 (46:39):
Or or you have a safety like Deshaun Elliott who
just knocks the snot out of somebody.
Speaker 3 (46:43):
And we have the Shawn Elliott and we need another safety.
We do, and Jalen Ramsey we have for another year.
And yeah, I hope he does better next year than
he does this year. Then he did than he did
this year. The first few games he was great, Yeah,
(47:07):
and then did his play just fell off. And I
don't blame him because he was switching to a new
position and he had to learn a whole new position.
He never played safety before. Yeah, you keep him there
and you teach him the defense and you keep him there,
he might turn into a Charles Woodson.
Speaker 2 (47:27):
Yeah, this is what they did with Charles Wilson. That's
a great that's a great analogy right there.
Speaker 3 (47:32):
He might turn into Charles Woodson. Or yes, but I'm
hoping for the best. But I think the Steelers earn
a rebuild for the next two three years, and I
hope that they are as a.
Speaker 2 (47:49):
Fan Tyler Murrion or do you think they should run
with Will Howard?
Speaker 3 (47:55):
I think this year they should run with who they have.
I think they should run with Mason Rudolph, Skyler Thompson
and and Will Howard. Let them three, Let them three
battle for the number one.
Speaker 2 (48:12):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (48:13):
Whoever wins wins. Ye play it as it lies.
Speaker 4 (48:18):
Yeah, yeah, I like that.
Speaker 3 (48:20):
Let's see what those guys got. Good. Really, we already
know what what Mason Rudolph has. We might win six
games with Mason Rudolph. The other two. The other two
we don't know what we're gonna win with because we
don't have a big enough sample size of the other two.
Speaker 2 (48:39):
I agree with that. If you're guys you rebuild, you
might also just do exactly what you said. Don't bring
in somebody, don't spend that money on Kyler Murray, see
who wins. Bring in a secondary, a second wide receiver, yep,
do what you gotta do. Maybe bring in another safety,
or bring in another corner and there maybe maybe go
(49:00):
after a high, high priced linebacker. Patrick Queen's coverage isn't good.
If you said, you know, Patrick Quan's great, Yeah, that
will take that off of him because I watched the
Pascal rate over his head during that game and that's why.
Speaker 3 (49:16):
And you know what, only bring to day watt in
in special packages? Start Nick Herbig, Yeah yeah, make Nick
Herbig your starting linebacker, you're starting outside backer, and bring
what in in special packages?
Speaker 2 (49:37):
Yep, like they did with Mac.
Speaker 3 (49:40):
Let's let him end his career on a high note.
Don't make him play every down, Don't make him play,
you know, fifty out of seventy snaps, because it's starting
to look bad because he cannot. He's not the player
he was two years ago. He's not the player he
was last year.
Speaker 4 (50:01):
No, no, no, that's it.
Speaker 2 (50:03):
It's it seemed like the end of the year when
he got that little injury, it kind of lingered into
this year, so maybe that was it. It's not I mean, I.
Speaker 3 (50:10):
Mean six games in a row without a sack, and.
Speaker 2 (50:14):
You gotta think about it to you make they go
all the Steelers always losing the playoffs, but they're playing
that extra game that a lot of other teams don't play.
So that's extra where entear extra minutes on your body.
So people need to remember that. But hey, I think
I think we've covered most of it. John Harbaugh to
New York. It's great. He's he's got the mind, he's
(50:35):
got the defense, he's got I think John Harbaugh. I
feel John Harbaugh wins a Super Bowl within the next
two to three years.
Speaker 3 (50:45):
I I think he whips the Giants into shape because
he is a no nonsense guy.
Speaker 4 (50:51):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (50:52):
I think he gets Scatterbo and he gets Jackson dart
on on on the on the straight and narrow, because
if that man can coach Jackson to throw darts like
he does, he could he could teach dart to throw
(51:12):
darts like he.
Speaker 1 (51:14):
Yes, you did a thing that was wait for that.
I love it, Rob up Son, And I.
Speaker 3 (51:24):
Know my analogies.
Speaker 8 (51:26):
My analogy protology is no cologies, collagen muscle, no fact.
Speaker 3 (51:34):
We drink.
Speaker 2 (51:40):
Okay, So that's that's good. Let's so let me give
my best ball top players real quick. We'll get into
our picks and then we'll get into Amana Nunez for
a minute, and then I will give out all of
my divisional rounds bets that I have. Now, these bets
may not end up in the subsequently, So if you
are a subscriber a talk to roto, you should be
(52:03):
listening to this show because sometimes not everything translates, but
there will be a ton of bets in that subsolutely
discord for me and the rest of the team, of course,
so let's get through it. We had, of course, like
I said, Ninja Posse got onto that second round, I
had a team go on to the second round that
Woody Mark's touchdown catapulted me. But that team got I
(52:25):
had a few receivers go out. I had Collins and
I got Brandon Cooks and so now it's gonna be
a little weird, but I do have good at tight ends,
Josh Allen, James Cook and I brought in. I've got
Kenneth Walker, I have Bonix and have Sutton on that. No,
I don't have something on that team, so that's kind
of the team that I got coming in. So I
got players coming in, so I'm pretty excited about my
(52:47):
second round. But dude, Ninja Posse's team scored over one
hundred and sixty points. I think we're one hundred and
forty nine. Most of the leagues I was in for
this best ball scored around one hundred and two and nine.
His team scored that much. And he's got Seattle players
(53:08):
as well, Seattle and Denver players I think coming out.
But he said Seattle, So you dude, that he could
his team with a right winner loss to other players,
this team could take him to round four, which gives
him a chance at.
Speaker 4 (53:24):
Big, big, big, big money.
Speaker 2 (53:26):
Yeah, So that's the that's kind of the information he
took from this show and everything else. So that's what
I'm going with this. Now. I am gonna these are
not in any orders. Just like last week, Jalen Hurts
didn't make my top five. H I wonder why? Well yeah, yeah,
(53:47):
quarterback Josh Allen, Matt Stafford. I'm going, Caleb Williams, Kurty Donald.
I have been looking at Donald. I do not like
that qushable tag that came up round Yeah, and when
you start getting hit by the forty nine ers and
they got it. Fred Warner is trying to like come back,
(54:07):
like I mean, I'm not me maybe not for this game,
but we do know the super Bowl is in the
forty nine Ers Stadium, so by the way, we have
a bet for that.
Speaker 3 (54:18):
Well you know what. But they're saying Sam Darnold is
questionable with an injury plus the flu.
Speaker 2 (54:26):
Oh well you know so that makes him he's not
going to be able to practice, and that injury is
going to be amplified by that. Once that gets out.
Speaker 4 (54:35):
Of him, the only thing he's going to be hoping.
Speaker 2 (54:37):
For is that you get that after sick boost of energy.
If that runs out, he gets hitting. That's why I
think that, you know, when I get to the running backs,
I'll talk about that a little bit more of my
insight for that game, and then we'll get into as
actual four games make our picks for this weekend. And
so for me, when I look at that, that's big
(54:59):
because a lot of people on the DFS side are
gonna be looking at JSN, and I get why we're
looking at JSN. But this game, like I said a
few weeks ago, San Francisco and Seattle NFC West teams
have knitty, gritty dirty games, and that's what that was. Yeah,
(55:21):
that last time. Is it gonna happen again? I don't know.
They had a decent game the first time, they got
that gritty game that second time.
Speaker 4 (55:28):
Is this the offensive explosion?
Speaker 2 (55:30):
Dan or No?
Speaker 3 (55:32):
Man, I really don't know if it's an offensive explosion
this time? Man. Yeah, it depends on Say you're talking
about Sam Furna Seattle still right.
Speaker 2 (55:46):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Even though I said I was
gonna say, let's talk about them when we get there,
we'll get there.
Speaker 4 (55:50):
I'm thrown this in for a few seconds since it
was right there.
Speaker 3 (55:53):
It depends on Sam. If Sam Donald plays. If Sam
Donald plays, then it might be that explosion that everybody's
waiting for.
Speaker 4 (56:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (56:03):
If he doesn't play. Who's the backup quarterback for Seattle.
Speaker 2 (56:08):
I don't even know it's it's probably uh I'm looking.
Speaker 3 (56:14):
Right now, all right, So Drew Locke is their number
two guy, and uh, I don't think he's ever thrown
for more than two hundred yards in the game, has he?
Speaker 2 (56:29):
I mean, there, there's he probably has. I mean we
can look up his stats. But isn't good.
Speaker 3 (56:35):
He's not good. It's like starton, It's like starton Mason Rudolph,
so pretty much, yeah, uh if if that happens, I
don't see a way Seattle keeps pace with San Francisco.
Speaker 2 (56:55):
I like that.
Speaker 4 (56:56):
So let's move to the running backs.
Speaker 2 (56:58):
Christian McCaffrey's my number one, Kyron Williams is my number two.
R J. Harvey is my number three. Cook And of course,
because you know, the Buffalo Bills can be run on
but Denver can't. That's why Cook, even though on defest slates,
is a second ranked running back, it's number four for me,
number five. We were just talking about him Walker and Sharbonnay.
(57:21):
I feel Walker gets that strong game again. I think
Charbonay is involved in the passing game and is able
to make the most of it. It always steals a touchdown.
So I put them as a tie five because really
it's a coin flip. It's whatever you feel. Do you
want the running game or do you want a little
edge in the passing game. So I'm taking Charbonnay because
they like to get him the ball near the goal line,
(57:44):
and for me, that puts him over Ken Walker. So
that's my pick. Let's get along to the wide receivers.
Speaker 4 (57:50):
Pooka's number one. If you are doing.
Speaker 2 (57:53):
A time going right now, you are picking Puka. If
you have the first overall pick, don't even play your games.
You did it first week or last round, wild card round,
you're doing it this round. I do have Jay Send
at number two. I got Davonte Adams at number three.
Chicago's thirty first ranked defense gets the wide receivers just
(58:15):
not gonna work out well for that. Yeah, they're not.
And I do like Jala Johnson. These guys are good,
but they've been banged up in the secondary.
Speaker 3 (58:23):
You know.
Speaker 2 (58:23):
I love Byered as a safety, but he sucks in
the coverage. He does get some weird things where he
gets interceptions. I do like him, like I said he does.
He's a strong tackler pretty much, but he's not gonna
be able to handle that size of Devantay Adams. There's
a lot of passes DeVante Adams and he had a drop.
I think in that first quarter that it would have
been a first down and the Rams would have continued
(58:44):
their drive. So DeVante Adams is my number three. These
are teams you want to play. Burden man. I'm done
with GJ. Moore. I know he got that touchdown but
if he doesn't get that touchdown, guess what, he didn't
do shit. So I in this whole thing.
Speaker 4 (58:58):
I was all off on do yeahs last week they
didn't even.
Speaker 2 (59:02):
Throw them the ball. They didn't even care about that. Man.
You know, I'm done with it right the fact that
that on the DFS slate they got Burden, So whoa,
that's that's right. There is one of your ultra contrarian
plays that's probably gonna be in there. I'm picking Burden
because it looks like Caleb Williams loves Burden. Yeah, yeah,
(59:26):
you got best coming in. And then of course Khalil Shakir.
I was talking with Tips on Tuesday about this about
this game a little bit, and this is one of
the big things Shakir works under. He doesn't have to
worry about Certain. Certain's gonna be on the outside. He's
gonna be on Coleman, who's who cares and Brandon Cooks.
(59:49):
Why would you put Certain on Brandon Cooks. You're not
going to run Certain in the middle with Shakira. And
Shakira is coming off of a pretty good game for him,
So I feel that this game gonna flow the buffalo. Well,
we'll get to that. But for me, Shakira is there.
Let's complete the tight ends and then Stacks will get
into the games, because that's actually the first game we'll
(01:00:10):
get to tight end Loveland Kin, Kid Schultz, Henry Barner.
Don't sleep on Barner. You're picking these players up in
your best ball get the draft Kings, get your best
ball lineups. And I'm doing that right now. Yeah. Yeah,
And that's why I say I know, I know Barnard
are Bayered can get that interception, but for me, he's
(01:00:34):
gonna have to be in the right place and once
it goes over his head, it'll be a touchdown.
Speaker 3 (01:00:39):
Everybody forgets Matthew Stafford played Chicago two games a year
for nine years. He played it in Chicago once a
year for nine years. He played He played in Green
Bay once a year for nine years, so he knows
how to play in cold weather.
Speaker 4 (01:00:59):
That's right, He's got it.
Speaker 2 (01:01:00):
So my team, Stacks for doing your best ball Rams
Seattle Bills, Let's get to the games. Bills versus Denver.
I just talked to you. I just said a few
things right there. Dalton Kincaid would not be my number two.
Everybody is jumping on Dawson Knocks. I agree Dawson Knock
(01:01:24):
took took a pay cut to keep that team together
so he could stay with his boy Josh Allen. That
I'm telling you now, King Kaid is about to score again.
And if kid k goes one of those crazy games
and everybody's off him, kind of like we nailed percentages
last week. Jordan Love was seven percent seven percent last week.
(01:01:50):
He was highlighted on that show, The Alter Contrarian Show,
And that means if you listen to these shows, you
get those lower percentage players that will make a difference
on a slaton, get you that payout that cash lineup.
So for me, it's Kinkaid. I think the defense, being
one of the best, if not the number one defense
against the past, can handle Denver's wide receivers, although they're
(01:02:13):
gonna have to pull some rabbit tidle their hats. The
running game could get through there. Dan, how do you
vill view the bills in Denver and then go ahead
with your pick when you're done?
Speaker 3 (01:02:23):
I think this whole game goes through James Cook. If
James Cook could run the ball and James Cook could
get catches out of the backfield, there I don't think
there's any way of stopping Buffalo's offense. If James Cook
gets going.
Speaker 4 (01:02:40):
I agree with that. That's and that's that's it.
Speaker 3 (01:02:45):
If you get him going, they can score forty to
fifty points a game. It all depends because they run
the play action so much, and they they run the
screen passes so much. If you could get James Cook
going and run the play action to Concaid or you know,
(01:03:08):
to the receivers, uh, I don't think that Denver has
the defense to stop the inside game. Their their outside
game is phenomenal with certain and their other corner, but
their inside game, I think the Bills would just pick
(01:03:31):
them apart.
Speaker 2 (01:03:32):
Yeah, and that's why when I said if this is
going to be a Bills win, I love that you
brought up the fact that James Cook people are going
to be often because of Denver's defense against the run
being one of the best.
Speaker 3 (01:03:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:03:44):
I mean it's the playoffs. We got defenses all over
the place.
Speaker 3 (01:03:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:03:48):
I've been writing articles on these people, are on these
players all year long because you know the id IDP
hero stuff, right, And so for me, Bills need that
to get going. Denver is gonna have to hope that
they get a good matchup or a long bomb, something
like Troy Franklin or Mims getting loose. But outside of
I think that this game has to flow under underneath.
Speaker 4 (01:04:10):
As well too, through RJ.
Speaker 2 (01:04:11):
Harvey.
Speaker 3 (01:04:12):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (01:04:12):
So for me, I think that that's the pathway to
success for Bills or for the Broncos.
Speaker 4 (01:04:18):
Who do you got winning?
Speaker 2 (01:04:20):
I got Buffalo winning, man, Okay, all right, I.
Speaker 3 (01:04:23):
Got I got Buffalo winning this game. It's going to
be close. Every game was close except for the Steeler
game last week.
Speaker 2 (01:04:31):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (01:04:32):
And and Houston got garbage time points. We all, you
have to admit it. They got They got what twenty
points in the garbage time.
Speaker 2 (01:04:40):
That Houston defense two touchdowns took me from like top
fifty out of three hundred thousand people. It took me
down like I was right there.
Speaker 3 (01:04:51):
Yeah, they got garbage time. They got garbage time touchdowns.
The Steelers were done, they were done playing. When when
those turnout has happened?
Speaker 2 (01:05:01):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (01:05:04):
I like Buffalo, man, I just don't see a way
that they stop James Cook all day.
Speaker 2 (01:05:13):
And John and and you know, I want to say.
Speaker 3 (01:05:15):
And Josh Allen and Josh Allen because Josh Josh Allen
finds a way to win.
Speaker 2 (01:05:21):
Yeah, I think you've brought it up when you talked
about the play action. The Buffalo Bills actually do that
play action. They'll run like a wide receiver, fade over here,
and Josh Allen will go running up the middle. That's
why when you look at I haven't looked at. Of course,
I have a lot of bets, but I am situational
with my bets that I'm going out right now, Josh
(01:05:41):
Allen's rushing yards if you're looking at a negative one
twenty eight for a round twenty five yards or something
like that, Josh, If Josh Allen has forty yards rushing,
I feel the Bills win this game because that means
he's moving the chains and that those plays that play
you exactly said right there. Again, I'm a plays eye people,
and you know this too, Dan, I'm a plays guy.
(01:06:02):
That play opens up a ton of plays for them.
Of course, the running and then of course the screen
to kinkaid, the screen to secure that. We've seen a
lot last week. So that for me is what's gonna
work for the Buffalo Bills. Everything underneath. Hope you get
a broken tackle ten to fifteen yards, get something good.
Josh Allen goes scrambling, we get some field goals. You know,
(01:06:23):
I've got a lot of people say the Bills or
the Broncos have put up a lot. They were putting
up points at the end of the year, but they
were whooping teams like teams that were just done too,
Like they were playing you know, the city done and
stuff like that. The Bills were fighting for the lives
pretty much.
Speaker 3 (01:06:37):
I mean they played Cleveland, they played Kansas City, they
played Oakland. I mean they played games that the teams
were just like, I want this draft pick.
Speaker 2 (01:06:50):
Yeah yeah, So for me, that's it. Hey, if we're wrong,
we're wrong. But guess what, Hey, go Mills.
Speaker 3 (01:06:58):
Yes, Google Bills.
Speaker 4 (01:07:01):
I don't mind, Josh al I love him.
Speaker 3 (01:07:05):
That's my that's my favorite team right now. In the
in the playoffs, okay.
Speaker 2 (01:07:12):
You know, okay, okay. So San Francisco Seattle, we did
talk about them a little bit. I did say that
Barner is a big key for Donald. You know, so
if if San Francisco gets into where they're pressing over
top kind of like what Houston ended up having to
do with DK to stop them down. Even though he
stopped himself with those drops. Yeah, and you make the
second receiver beat you. Now you're looking at Cooper Cup.
(01:07:36):
Now you're looking at you know, Rashid Shaheed. I like Barner,
I like Barnar, and I like Sharbonne out the backfield.
I feel that that is Seattle's keys to winning, and
that is Donald's.
Speaker 4 (01:07:48):
Key to win.
Speaker 2 (01:07:49):
I you can say I'm wrong. I don't see Donald
throwing five touchdowns in this game, or four touchdowns. He
might have a chance at three, but I doubt that
happens again in the NFC West kind of time.
Speaker 4 (01:08:00):
The game, Like we were talking.
Speaker 2 (01:08:01):
About San Francisco, it's all McCaffrey, All McCaffrey people are
gonna be like, well, kettle's out.
Speaker 3 (01:08:06):
Bro.
Speaker 2 (01:08:07):
Watch some DFS slates and see how many people are
on tongs, Bro, Tongs is gonna be in it. Everybody's
gonna be on tongs. It won't be on Barner. That's
why Barner was up on my picks. He was on there.
I didn't have Tongs on there on my top five,
I had Barner. So I feel that San Francisco was
gonna have to work that they have to party's can
(01:08:27):
play great and Purty was one of my preseason write
ups that I did. The injury kind of threw everything off,
but he was on pace to beat what I had
predicted for the season, which nobody else would have thought.
Of course, I said, if he gets hurt, he gets hurt.
He doesn't trust his wide receivers, He doesn't trust Jennings,
the one that he trusts the most. And I said,
(01:08:48):
this was a big play for me last game was
DeMarcus Robinson. De Marcus Robinson was the guy that was
making the plays the Drids.
Speaker 4 (01:08:55):
Anybody with the Drids Dreds.
Speaker 2 (01:09:00):
Remember Steven Jackson's dreads rare. So we all know about
Paula Malu's ferm, but that to me is the key.
Of course, McCaffrey. If McCaffrey, I'll say this right now.
If McCaffrey has one hundred and sixty all purpose yards
(01:09:21):
and only one touchdown, San Francisco still wins this game.
Speaker 4 (01:09:24):
That's my pick. What do you got going on this game?
Speaker 3 (01:09:29):
I agree with you, and it all stems on Sam Donald.
If Sam Donald plays or not, if why would you not?
If he doesn't, If he doesn't play, if he's two
injured or too sick, and Luck has to play or
Lock not Luck, Lock has to play, they should call
(01:09:49):
up Luck. If Locke has to play that I don't
see a chance that Seattle wins this game.
Speaker 4 (01:09:58):
Yeah, I agree with that. I agree with that. If
Locke plays, San Francisco's going on.
Speaker 3 (01:10:04):
But I I would love to see Seattle win. I
would love it. But I think San Francisco wins this game.
Speaker 2 (01:10:13):
You got San Francisco. I think because of that late
week thing that does kind of hurt who I'm picking.
Speaker 3 (01:10:19):
I have.
Speaker 2 (01:10:20):
I have Seattle winning this game. So that's my pick.
Because of course I'm gonna stay with my bracket. I'm
not gonna I'm not gonna change who I'm picking. Although
I do feel fan Francisco can win this game, and honestly,
as a Rams fan, I want San Francisco.
Speaker 4 (01:10:37):
I want to beat the breaks off of them and
go to the super Bowl.
Speaker 2 (01:10:40):
And Seattle scares me a little more because even though
the Rams have handled Seattle all year, we showed that
when we screw up Mike, most teams, you're gonna lose
a game. And that's a team you can't screw up against.
Whereas I feel that if we screw up against San Francisco.
We'll be able to at least contain that team enough,
won't hurt us as much. But if JSN gets a
(01:11:02):
bomb over the top with the Rams are weak to that,
they are, you know, susceptible to the long ball, and
that brings up JASN even a Shaheed bomb, right, I'd
rather not have to worry about that, And I would
just rather have to worry about Christian McCaffrey underneath.
Speaker 4 (01:11:16):
It's a lot easier. Yeah, so, and.
Speaker 2 (01:11:18):
Usually Kittle kills the Rams. Roy's the Rams when they
had d Bill Samuel too. Kittle and Samuel, you'd always
just start both those guys because they would just eat
up so for me without any of those players there,
and just with Jennings doing whatever Jennings does, which right,
(01:11:38):
it puts them at that that's the team I think
that I would rather see. But I am picking Seattle.
Let's move along to Houston versus New England. Go ahead
and take this one from the go dain.
Speaker 3 (01:11:51):
To Houston defense is so good, so good, and uh,
I thoughts on second place points where.
Speaker 2 (01:12:01):
He's just reading a question. Well, I guess, so Houston
versus New England to with best defenses in the league,
and Houston the best defense in the league. Coming in
to what people think was the easiest schedule. It was
fluffed team New England. Go ahead and take that while
(01:12:23):
I get back to this question so we can read it.
Speaker 4 (01:12:25):
Since that was a pretty that was good.
Speaker 2 (01:12:26):
We know this is what we do.
Speaker 3 (01:12:29):
So the Texans, their defense is so good it's hard
to do anything against them. That that was proven against Pittsburgh,
but Pittsburgh couldn't move the ball against anybody in the
regular season. I think the Patriots have a really good
(01:12:50):
chance because they're of their offensive line and their tight ends.
They'd like to pass over the middle, and that is
the one weekness of the Houston Texans is over the middle. Ah,
this one's a toss for me. I really like the
(01:13:14):
Patriots because I think they have a better offense, but
I think Houston. I think Houston's gonna win the game
because of their defense.
Speaker 2 (01:13:26):
You know, this defense can knock it up, can lock
up New England period. But I gotta say this that
Nico Collins injury was big because Hutchinson is a bum
like he catches these one or two catches, but then
Jaalen Nole just kind of does his stuff.
Speaker 4 (01:13:44):
And then of course Higgins. Higgins is the key. Higgins
is the key.
Speaker 2 (01:13:48):
We did read that Eagles, so we got that question.
But for me, I'm picking. I'm picking New England because
I feel that I'm gonna see Bills versus New England
for no apparent reasons, which will give you the Bills
an easy way to get to the super Bowl.
Speaker 3 (01:14:06):
It's not really an easy way. They're one and one
in the regular season.
Speaker 2 (01:14:10):
I know, I know, but from what I've seen in
the past month, the harder schedule, the harder nosed team
I believe is the Buffalo Bills. And I feel that
Josh Allen goes into New England and bounces them badly.
Like we're talking, this is gonna be a forty five
to like twenty game. They're gonna beat them down. I
know I'm talking out of my ask, but I'm telling you,
(01:14:33):
I'm telling you that it's gonna happen. And for me,
I'm still gonna I'm picking New England for that to happen.
Speaker 3 (01:14:40):
And I know what. You changed my mind. You changed
my mind. I want to I want to see it happen.
I think the Patriots are gonna win. Yes, you changed
my mind. The thing is the first time that's ever happened. Heyment,
But the.
Speaker 2 (01:15:00):
Thing is without Nico Collins, I don't think any of
those guys are gonna be able to beat in the New
England secondary. So then you're gonna rely on Dalton Shoulders
and Woody Marks.
Speaker 3 (01:15:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:15:11):
Yeah, that's not gonna go well.
Speaker 2 (01:15:12):
And there's gonna be some And you give the Patriots
nine fumbles, and I guarantee that game is gonna be
forty five to nothing.
Speaker 3 (01:15:24):
Nine nine fumbles, nine fumbles and two interceptions two in
one got called back, one got called back.
Speaker 2 (01:15:31):
If you don't remember, Yeah, they just felt bad, felt bad.
But I like it. I like that. But man, let's
get to the Let's get to the big game, probably
the probably the most This is gonna be the most
stacked game. Okay, so let's before we get let's get
the Eagles. Question Eagles. I was trying to figure this out.
So what are you looking at?
Speaker 3 (01:15:51):
So?
Speaker 2 (01:15:52):
I know you're seven points out, you're in second place,
seven points out of the first place out of twenty nineteen.
Are you talking about this? Stacks? So, are you're gonna
you're gonna be leaning going Seahawks and Rams are you
talking about best ball or are you and so I
see the kicker, I see the defense, are you looking?
(01:16:12):
So where are you trying? Because that whatever the three
quarterback or running backs like that right there, that got
all jumbled together. So that was kind of hard to
understand right there. Yeah, but so while you re typed
that or kind of just put in what you're doing
that so I can figure that out to answer that
for you, that would be great. And that's why I think, oh,
got you? Got you? All right? All right? No, no,
(01:16:36):
I got it. I thought you were asking for like
your your seven points, like if your best goal you
had you were like one of twenty nine teams and
you need that seven points and you're looking for a
game to stack or I mean the best ball it
just plays it anyway. Or if you were starting this
week and you were, you know, putting one in, that's
kind of what I was reading. Believe I've wrote that ball.
But yeah, yes, yes, yes, he's a playoffs. Yeah I
(01:17:01):
agree with that too. You know those kind of things
that kind of happened. That's what makes bestball fun. Playoff
best ball is so much fun. I took five teams,
went on, I had won lose by a few points
a couple other points. I had pook on a couple
of those teams, but I didn't have Colston loves So
for me, it was one of those things. Oh so, like, okay,
(01:17:21):
I see what you're doing. So is it like you
pick players at the spots in roster locks? All right?
All right, so you're one of those like pick one
leagues where you get to pick one from each thing, right,
is that what you're talking about? So for me, players
as spots in roster locks. So for me, La versus
(01:17:45):
Chicago can develop into one of the highest scoring games.
But as we were, people were talking about if the
weather is bad in Chicago. As Dan already said, I
don't that. He doesn't care about that, and I don't
care about that either. Because the Rams do take long balls,
they're not going to be scared. But a lot of
the Rams plays happen under me, and it's the player's
(01:18:06):
breaking tackles that actually make take it to the next level.
That's why so good at what he does. That's why
a lot of people out of saying who's the best receiver,
Jasn Pooka, All right, all right, you pick three quarterback
four running backs, six wide receivers, et cetera. So and
(01:18:26):
then you pick a kicker and then you said I
got you now three So okay, so I will actually
give you three quarterbacks that I feel I will fill
that up. We'll do this, We'll do the New England
or we'll do the Chicago Rams game, and I'll answer
that question. So for me, the Rams are going to
be able to pick apart the Bears underneath. Last week
(01:18:47):
they lost one of their linebackers. It was TJ. Edwards.
He's attack of muster and he cannot cover. At the
same time, the Bears linebackers will be exposed.
Speaker 4 (01:18:55):
They're going to be exposed because they're gonna have to cover.
Speaker 2 (01:18:57):
The Rams have been using a lot of Higbee as
we know, playoff killer and you're welcome. And they're gonna
be using a lot of Parkinson as we saw last
week game winner Parkinson. You gotta cover these Rams, and
they love using the young guys Smith, they love Mumfield.
Mumfield came through with a big catch when these guys
(01:19:18):
numbers called on they have in the past. That's where
to to at Well would drop passes and that and
that's what the Rams had problems with DeMarcus Robinson as
well too.
Speaker 4 (01:19:29):
So for me, that's the key to the Rams Chicago.
Speaker 2 (01:19:33):
They have to stop the Rams passing game. They have
to take out DeVante Adams and Pooka Nukul, which I
don't think is gonna happen.
Speaker 3 (01:19:43):
Imp did talk about it.
Speaker 2 (01:19:47):
You talked about it.
Speaker 3 (01:19:49):
You you cannot guard everyone on that Rams offense. There's
not enough players on the field. That you have eleven
players and you have to double team two of them. Yeah,
eleven players on the field. You have to double team too,
So that's four of your players, and then you have
(01:20:10):
four rushing How many players do you have left? How
many played? Eight, nine, ten, eleven? You have three players
to cover three other people, and it's not gonna happen.
You're not gonna cover Higbee one on one. You're not
gonna cover You're not gonna cover the running back out
of the backfield one on one. You're not gonna cover
(01:20:31):
the other tight end one on one, or if they
don't play two tight ends, you're not gonna cover their
other receiver and their three wide set one on one.
It's not it's not gonna happen.
Speaker 4 (01:20:43):
I agree with that. You now go on, I just.
Speaker 3 (01:20:47):
Don't see Chicago's defense and that they don't have enough
people to cover everyone on the field.
Speaker 2 (01:20:56):
Yeah, if they had awards, maybe, but now you got
to you got a rookie in there, and this isn't
just gonna happen. We talked about Byron earlier. Although we
had some shout outs for Bayard's six interceptions, you know,
and that's possible, that's a bet we're gonna play because
we all know Stafford throws interceptions, so that Byarn's my
guy I go to.
Speaker 4 (01:21:17):
So you know, that was that was just pretty good.
Speaker 3 (01:21:20):
I really don't think that should count though, because I
mean just playing just back and looking at the whole field. Yeah,
you played back. You play back and you look at
the whole field and you're like, oh, I could catch
that one, and you run over and you catch that one.
Speaker 4 (01:21:41):
That's what made me so good as a safety.
Speaker 3 (01:21:45):
That's why I played safety. That's why I played safety.
You just stand back there and look around. I mean
he did. He's not good in coverage. He gets burnt
when he covers people, but he's in the right place
at the right time all the time, all the time.
(01:22:07):
He plays his position very well.
Speaker 2 (01:22:09):
Yep, he'll probably And so here's a here's an IDP
bet tackle for you. Most likely the sportsbooks. I'm not
even gonna look. I could go to I can go
to DK and look, they're probably gonna have byered around
four and a half. If you can buy five to
six tackles, maybe even seven tackles, ladder him up. Just
do it. He could have ten tackles.
Speaker 4 (01:22:28):
Because you know that the Rams are gonna run if
they get that lead.
Speaker 2 (01:22:31):
Because that's what the Rams do. Pounce the shit out
of you, right and then bam, once they ram the
shit out of you. Us that have said, once they
do that and they ram the shit out of you,
the Rams go ram it. We get Blake Korum coming
in and now he's running up the middle of the gut.
We get Williams off to the side. Now the Rams
are busting big runs. So for me, that's where Bayer's
gonna also get his thing. Look at this, man, we're
(01:22:53):
getting just bets and all this fun stuff. I love it.
Who do you got winning?
Speaker 3 (01:22:57):
Did I got the Rams winning? I do, man, I
got the Rams winning. I had Chicago losing the Green Bay.
I don't think they get lucky I don't think they
get lucky this week. I think I think the Rams go.
Speaker 2 (01:23:14):
I love it. Man, all right, let me get to
Eagles question. So he needs three quarterbacks. Let's get this.
Let's get you this first place. Brother, man, all right,
I'm definitely picking Alan Stafford. Everybody's gonna probably go for Darnold.
If you want to change your game up, you could
probably go with Williams because I feel that that he's
gonna be throwing a lot and so for that, and
(01:23:35):
that's his the weakness for the Rams.
Speaker 4 (01:23:36):
So I'm gonna easily say Alan Stafford Williams.
Speaker 3 (01:23:39):
Plato's guys, what about bow Knicks? Man, bow Knicks is
gonna be throwing the ball a lot on that Buffalo
on Buffalo.
Speaker 2 (01:23:49):
He is, but he's gonna have to complete the passes.
And I feel that Williams is gonna throw the ball
more than him. Stafford's gonna throw the ball more than him,
and Josh Allen will throw the ball more than him
as well too. So I'm looking at the attempts and
I don't feel that bo Knicks is gonna get up
in there like that. So for me, maybe it happens.
You could be right, that's.
Speaker 3 (01:24:10):
I was just asking a question. I was just asking
a question.
Speaker 2 (01:24:13):
That's how you know that you know football, You say stuff.
So if you do want to say screw Williams and
go bow Nicks, there's your sway. All right, running backs,
we need four running backs. Do you know I'm going McCaffrey, Williams,
Harvey And so this is where I feel you could
(01:24:33):
either go Cook or Sharbonnay. So do you feel James
Cooks gets a touchdown or do you feel Sharbonnay gets
a touchdown? Or maybe they both score.
Speaker 3 (01:24:42):
And I I think James Cook gets more carries, more
yards and a touchdown.
Speaker 2 (01:24:47):
And there's there's less people around that Ty Johnson being
out and now now he's coming back, if he doesn't
play as much or whatever with his injury, that's going
to open up more for James Cook. And James Cook
has haven't been involved in the passing game too often
because of Ty Johnson. We need to get James Cook
back in the passing game. And I think that's it.
So I would go McCaffrey, Williams, Harvey and Cook. Four
(01:25:10):
wide receivers. He needs six, so you're easily getting Pooka
j S n Adams, go Burden, Shakir, he needs a
sixth receiver. Is this where you go with Sutton? Or
should we should we fade over to.
Speaker 4 (01:25:29):
New England and go fancy with Diggs.
Speaker 3 (01:25:33):
I wouldn't go Digs on the Patriots.
Speaker 2 (01:25:36):
No, yeah, yeah, I would go.
Speaker 3 (01:25:43):
What's it? What's his name?
Speaker 2 (01:25:48):
Burden?
Speaker 8 (01:25:49):
Duneesay, Booty, oh goshan, but you know, you know he
actually I think his plus three is a negative one
fifty eight on Fandal.
Speaker 3 (01:26:03):
I would go, I would go Booty in that in
that game.
Speaker 2 (01:26:07):
You know what, that's the player that gets the long touchdown.
He did it last week. He's gonna do it again.
I love it. I like that.
Speaker 4 (01:26:16):
That's who they use, that's who their guy is.
Speaker 2 (01:26:19):
That's your sixth receiver, and you had a chance at
a touchdown. That's a DFS play. I like that play.
You get that play, nobody's gonna be on them, So
that's gonna be your edge. That's gonna be your lower
own people. That's dancy. You got this all right. Let's
move along to the tight ends. Tight ends easily leveling Kinkaid.
(01:26:43):
And I don't like Schultz Henry so much, so I'm
gonna go Barner. I'm going leveling Kinkaid and Barner for
I mean, I feel that that's just gonna be the
best three defenses.
Speaker 4 (01:26:55):
Defenses. Houston, you're gonna go.
Speaker 2 (01:26:58):
Yeah, yeah, you agree with that.
Speaker 3 (01:27:00):
Houston. You gotta pick Houston.
Speaker 2 (01:27:03):
You gonna take Houston.
Speaker 3 (01:27:06):
Truthfully, in this game, I would pick the Rams.
Speaker 2 (01:27:09):
Well, yeah, So if he's sticking three defenses, I'll go
Rams Houston, and I'm gonna go Seattle. I'm gonna go Seattle.
Seattle was solid all year with points.
Speaker 3 (01:27:23):
I was gonna go opposite. I was gonna go San
Frano on Seattle, especially if their quarterback. If Seattle's quarterback
does not play.
Speaker 2 (01:27:32):
That is that is a perfect, perfect analogy. Make sure
you check that Eagles. When you get that, that your dude,
That your dude, because that is big because he doesn't play.
You know, we're not We're coming off Seattle and we're
going San Francisco. So keep that one open and roll
that Bill's date Denver, I don't know. Josh Allen does
turn the ball over. Oh Nicks really doesn't. So it
(01:27:54):
just just doesn't.
Speaker 4 (01:27:56):
I feel that those other defenses are strong enough.
Speaker 3 (01:28:00):
Denver's defense does get a lot of turnovers.
Speaker 2 (01:28:02):
Though they do a sack wise, so sacks count. So
for me, Houston again having two defensive lineman, Will Anderson
and Daniel Hunter, both of those guys are wreck, havots
and sacks.
Speaker 3 (01:28:17):
I know all about them. I know all about.
Speaker 2 (01:28:22):
So for me, that defense alone makes points. So so
of course, writing the defense article, Houston was number one.
Seattle was up there in d In two leagues I did,
Seattle Vikings were number one, Seattle was number two. In
another league, Seattle was number two. Vikings were number or.
Seattle's number one, Vikings were number two Seattle's. So in
a defense format, Seattle scores points. So again, but if
(01:28:44):
you're going to take the safe points, San Francisco, people
will be on Seattle because there are other people watching this.
So I'm going Seattle, Houston and rams three kickers.
Speaker 3 (01:28:55):
He said. He said, thanks, gents, kickers, I just draw
names out of a hat.
Speaker 4 (01:29:01):
We're not playing that game. We're not playing that game.
Speaker 2 (01:29:04):
We're gonna get this, so, Jason Myers ended and was
the Fantasy received the Fantasy Football Award for Kicker of
the Year from US. So Jason Myers is one. Seattle's
gonna be able to move this ball. Even if they
don't have him, they still have a chance to move
this ball on San Francisco. And so I love I
(01:29:26):
love Myers. Now we got what if the weather gets
rainy in Seattle, you'll come off with that. Of course,
Bills in Denver, you got the extra air in Denver.
So if you you could play either one of those kickers,
or you could play both of them. But the Bills
have had a real bad their kickers have been shipped.
So I'm not picking the kicker, the Rams kicker. You know,
(01:29:49):
Memis has is solid and Memis may have to play
the only problem is Sean McVay when he doesn't want
to use mevs. So for me, if you're gonna go Kickers,
I'm gonna go New England, Barrell, Brella Longus or whatever.
Speaker 3 (01:30:06):
Yeah that rookie. He's a rookie, right.
Speaker 2 (01:30:09):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm going New England. I'm gonna go.
I will go Rams because that's gonna give you your
solid points. And I'm gonna go Denver. I'mnna go Denver. Kicker,
I'm gonna go with that. Yeah he is. Everybody's ripping
on how big he is. Meves has Sebastian Janikowski kind
(01:30:31):
of goals. So but I like it. I'm going Rams,
New England and Denver because I know Denver's kicker can
definitely get the job done up there. And those are
the three kickers that I'm taking. Hec Ba's one.
Speaker 4 (01:30:45):
Two point zero.
Speaker 2 (01:30:50):
Sometimes these shows are great when there's people talking and
we get that crazy in there.
Speaker 3 (01:30:54):
Hey, Jenakowski was the man for a long time, but
then he showed up drunk.
Speaker 2 (01:31:02):
They show drunk, all right, So so I think we
got the football, So we got the picks. Dan and
I both agree on all the picks. Bill San Francisco,
New England and Rams. That sits upright, Well not San
Fransco Seattle.
Speaker 4 (01:31:17):
I meant I read it wrong.
Speaker 2 (01:31:19):
So Bill, Seattle, New England, Rams setting up Rams versus Seattle,
New England versus Bills. You want your story, that's your story.
That's the story we're going with. On the Fight Club
A pink all right, we got bets coming up. Let's
talk about Amanda Nunya's Kayla Harrison had next surgery today
(01:31:42):
is out. We talked about it. They're trying to get
Nunya's another fight. Wait, wasn't Jack or whatever, liquored up kicker.
Speaker 3 (01:31:52):
Via Oh yeah yeah, vander Jet, Yeah kicker.
Speaker 2 (01:31:58):
And you got maca nakafe I call Pat McAfee. Yeah,
kickers are humans too.
Speaker 3 (01:32:07):
What's D one? How you doing? D one? From?
Speaker 2 (01:32:10):
We up deep one from just coming in. We're about
to have some bets and we were just about to
talk about Nunez. They're trying to get Nunez a fight.
Do you think they delayed six months? Or does she fight?
Speaker 3 (01:32:23):
I hope not. I hope she takes the fight with
Amanda Serrano. AMANDAO. Amanda Serrano wanted to fight her, and
she is one of the best pound for pound boxers
on the planet.
Speaker 7 (01:32:40):
She could throw hands, she is the same size, and
she has five MMA fights to her professional MMA fights
to her record. She is four oh and one in
m m A and the one note contest it was
an illegal elbow.
Speaker 3 (01:32:58):
I would love to see that fight. I would love
to see those two stand up the bag. But I
don't think it's gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (01:33:09):
I I don't think it's gonna happen that. I think
it's too short of a notice. But like you said,
most of the time boxers of Serrano's type are always
in condition. I would worry about the ground game. I
don't know. There's definitely not enough time to work on
that ground game for you.
Speaker 3 (01:33:27):
She is a she's a BJJ brown belt. Okay, she
trains mixed martial arts on but she's a boxer. But
she trains mixed mortial arts.
Speaker 4 (01:33:40):
I'm gonna tell you this right now.
Speaker 3 (01:33:41):
She has five professional fights to her to her record,
and she is she has two wins by by submission.
Speaker 2 (01:33:48):
So, okay, this is why Dan is the man.
Speaker 4 (01:33:53):
Get that that is.
Speaker 2 (01:33:54):
This is why this guy right here makes the Fight
Club of Pain go. Because I don't know that, but
I know numbers, and that's why we have We're the
We're the tur team champions of the world.
Speaker 4 (01:34:10):
I actually didn't do a lot of echo this one.
That was a good boy.
Speaker 2 (01:34:13):
That's a good boy, all right. I mean, I agree
with you. I don't think it happens, but if it does,
I'm taking first round knockout. I'm putting I won't put
the house, but I am putting money on first round knockout,
first second round knockout. If it's it's probably gonna go
a three round fight. See, that's the only fight that
can happen, because I'm not interested in anything else a
(01:34:37):
week and a half less than a week or just
outside of a week from a fight.
Speaker 3 (01:34:42):
With somebody, unless Cheff Chanko says, I'm in.
Speaker 2 (01:34:48):
She was throwing some kicks at that bag the other
day I saw, so that was.
Speaker 3 (01:34:53):
Good, unless Chef Chanko says, I'm in. Let's go.
Speaker 2 (01:34:57):
Dude. Did you see Michael Morales try and do do?
Not trying?
Speaker 4 (01:35:01):
But he was he was doing working on his ground game.
Speaker 3 (01:35:04):
Dude, he's cringey. He makes me cringe.
Speaker 2 (01:35:10):
Man, he was like this, dude, I'm not he is.
Speaker 3 (01:35:16):
He's great at stand up, created stand up, but it's
he's he's one hundred cringe bro.
Speaker 4 (01:35:26):
Yeah, I mean he's working on it. That's why he's
doing it, because that.
Speaker 2 (01:35:31):
Sean Brady had him stuck when he was bent over
the whole time trying to defend Sean Brady like that,
and then he just knocked that man out. That's another
thing we called. That's what's up. That's my boy. You
know it, we know it. Yeah. So that being said,
we don't think that might happen.
Speaker 3 (01:35:52):
I'm Mike vic fan, but a different account. All right,
what's up?
Speaker 2 (01:35:55):
Man, Oh, what's what's up? Hey, I don't mind the extra.
I don't mind the extra like that. That that could
be another unique count for the following plus man, I
love it, man, and I'm happy that you're here, you know,
talking with us and everything like that was about me
liquoring up and exclusey Colbert, Yeah, right, that's that's he's
(01:36:19):
a That is funny. I just seen the ken Vic
part over here because I didn't have my comments at that.
Ken Vic. That sounds like a like a soap opera character.
They're like, like, yes, and through the hourglass, these are
the days of our lives now starring ken Vic. He
(01:36:40):
comes in, he goes, there's probably some guy named ken Vi.
Speaker 3 (01:36:58):
He's like, God, damn it, guys, I don't.
Speaker 2 (01:37:02):
Want these guys talking about me. I was supposed to
be in Enigma. Ken Vic was to be my name only.
Hell No, I'm gonna make a soccer player named ken Vic.
Speaker 3 (01:37:10):
Now you hell popular, We're gonna make you famous.
Speaker 2 (01:37:14):
Kenneth, Kenneth, Kenneth, what his middle name. It's gotta it's
gotta be. It's gotta be ken Smith.
Speaker 3 (01:37:23):
Myrons, Myron Kenneth, Myron Vic.
Speaker 2 (01:37:29):
That's great. KNV. We do more the over that Ken
Ken byron Vic.
Speaker 4 (01:37:44):
Because the name five years Kenneth.
Speaker 2 (01:37:50):
Thanks, thanks Dave one proving on that one. All right,
let's get to some bets, man, and then we'll get
up out of here and do it. But man, next
week's fight club is gonna be wild, all right for bets.
I took a different angle this week. I gave out
a lot of fun stuff. Last week. Hit one I
think I did my first quarters one hit one didn't
(01:38:12):
one was short five yard short or something like that. Anyway,
I wanted to do a little bit of a They
offered some on fandel, They offered some some winners of
the next round that you could buy their money now.
Speaker 4 (01:38:24):
And you could get that.
Speaker 2 (01:38:25):
So Bills versus Patriots. I took the Bills out of
plus one hundred Rams versus Seahawks. Again, this just goes
with the show Rams negative one oh four. It did
say that if the Rams or the Bills get eliminated,
you get your bet back. So there goes there goes
some nice little fun early bets that you can still
get your money back on if it doesn't work out
(01:38:46):
for you. As for the super Bowl, I've got the
Rams plus three twenty. I have the Rams of plus
nineteen hundred people, let's get ready. That was on my
preseason article at Doctor Rodo plus nineteen hundred. Now we
got a plus three twenty. Now the Bills plus six hundred,
and then San Francisco plus two thousand. If you want
(01:39:07):
to just take a small flyer, maybe try to at
least get San Francisco to that Super Bowl. Take him
on that. Now, the Rams have a plus one sixty
five to win the NFC. The Bills are a plus
two twenty to win the AFC. That's the story, people,
(01:39:28):
So let's roll over to receptions, because I'm only gonna
give you receptions this week, and I'm gonna give you
a touchdown.
Speaker 4 (01:39:34):
Parlay, I got your editions for that.
Speaker 2 (01:39:37):
We're gonna go. Evan Ingram three catches negative one to fourteen,
Brandon Cooks two catches negative two to seventy five, Barner
three catches negative two fifty. Jennings plus three catches negative
three sixty. He's the only one out there if he.
If Jennings can't get three catches, Sam probably loses this
game unless McCaffrey goes bonkers. Yeah, Steven plus three catches
(01:40:02):
negative one point eighteen. You don't run on the Houston
Texans defense. You pass on them, and they don't. They're
not bringing in Trayvon Henderson for their passing downs. We've
already seen Stevenson excelling in the passing game. Jaden Higgins
three catches negative two fifteen. Whether Collins plays or not,
(01:40:23):
I love that number on them right now. Burden plus
three catches negative one sixty. It's low because just like
last week, wanted to dance on a doonsday and guess what,
we got burned because Burden was gang the targets Adams
had to go up on this. One plus four catches
negative two fifty. If you want to parlay all that together,
(01:40:47):
it is a plus twenty five eighty nine touchdowns Josh
Allen touchdown MCF Josh Allen's negative one oh five, McCaffrey
negative one thirty, Stevenson plus one seventy five, Hookahoka negative
one fifteen plus sixteen seventy five. Brown Robin that ship
(01:41:11):
because man, you're gonna win some money if especially that
Stevenson touchdown paired with anything else.
Speaker 4 (01:41:16):
Just win money.
Speaker 2 (01:41:17):
So Stevenson is practically the key player of these bets
as you can see, and hopefully he doesn't get negative
seventeen yards like your boy John new Smith.
Speaker 3 (01:41:26):
Smith John Whu Smith's new name is Kenneth Vick.
Speaker 2 (01:41:42):
Dude. Like Jeff Fans does this thing every year where
he hides someone's name. I'm so dropping that next year
when he goes, hey, what should I name this guy?
Speaker 4 (01:41:52):
Just call him Ken vic Bro.
Speaker 2 (01:41:54):
Nobody's gonna go.
Speaker 3 (01:41:55):
Hey when we go next year, when we go to
when we go to the Football Hall of Fame, that's
my that's my name. I'm Kenneth vic Shirts.
Speaker 4 (01:42:06):
Just say Ken vinc Ken fun.
Speaker 3 (01:42:09):
Dude.
Speaker 2 (01:42:10):
If none of y'all been to the Fantasy Football Expo
in Canton, Ohio the week after the Hall of Fame,
you got to get there. Are our guy Bob Long
used to work with us, doctor Rode Dude, he puts
on a great thing. He just dude. He is just
awesome to be around. But we get the run into
Kevin from Trophy Smack. There's so many did you had
you had a great time? We got Scott Fish. This
(01:42:30):
is so much fun, dude.
Speaker 3 (01:42:32):
And I met so many people that I don't remember
their names. Uh, I've had I had conversations with people
I've never seen before and I'll probably never seen again.
But Bro, I'm getting a jersey that says Kenneth Vick.
Speaker 2 (01:42:53):
Gonya say Ken, that never has to say just Ken.
Speaker 3 (01:42:56):
Yes on the front, it will say Ken, it will
say you, will say Cannice across the front, Vic across
the back.
Speaker 9 (01:43:08):
So I sees running.
Speaker 2 (01:43:20):
Yeah, I like that.
Speaker 3 (01:43:22):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (01:43:22):
That's that's good. So you know that if you if
none of y'all been to the Fantasy Full Back Expo,
get there. You have so much fun.
Speaker 3 (01:43:31):
Dan.
Speaker 2 (01:43:31):
Actually, I wanted to say this, We did run into
people two years in a row with you now because
I've gone four years out of the five or whatever not.
Speaker 3 (01:43:39):
And.
Speaker 2 (01:43:40):
They they we remember each other from here, but we
just don't get their names. I think the guy Daryl,
there's a guy randomly named Daryl in my text messages
and I think he got.
Speaker 3 (01:43:53):
He shot me a texta code like a few weeks ago,
and I was like, who is Darryl? Why do I
have Darryl's David by phone?
Speaker 2 (01:44:02):
What's up?
Speaker 3 (01:44:02):
Daryl? Well?
Speaker 2 (01:44:04):
I swamped at N for c Okay, he said, looks
yea right back of the back of the box two
one A five dollars DK for the big player millionaire.
Speaker 4 (01:44:14):
I want to overstack a team. What is the best
team to stack? It's the Rams.
Speaker 2 (01:44:21):
It's the Rams. How do you not want pooka Adams
and then that game swift Swift can definitely get work
out of the backfield.
Speaker 3 (01:44:31):
So for Williams, I mean, come on.
Speaker 2 (01:44:36):
Well think about this. So alright, so CMC and JSN
they can both go off. So if that's the game
that you you're you're thinking that you can go in
for it. Right am I reading this? Cold temperatures not
at home?
Speaker 3 (01:44:49):
Are you?
Speaker 2 (01:44:50):
Oh you're talking about the Rams? Yes, but we if
you were popped in or you were listening earlier, we
talked about Dan talked about how Stafford has played in
the See North for a very long time and as
Ben in Green Bay when it's cold, has also been
you know, in Chicago, so he has played this team,
these teams before. It doesn't work with the Rams the Rams.
(01:45:13):
If you say that the cold makes you catch worse.
The Rams are going to take long balls that are
going to be able, that that could that couldn't hit it.
But again the Rams underneath and break tackles and those.
Speaker 3 (01:45:28):
Everybody forgets that Matthew Stafford came from Detroit who played
in the NFC North. He played the Vikings twice a year.
He played Chicago twice a year, he played Green Bay
twice a year. Granted, one of those teams is in
a dome, but the other two is outside in the cold,
ones on grass, one's on turf. It doesn't matter where
(01:45:51):
he plays. Stafford can throw the ball.
Speaker 2 (01:45:54):
So I mean, so when you say fade CMC, that
you know that's the thing is, we're relying on Seattle's
defense to be what they've been all year and earlier
in the year. Me and you did a podcast for
the draft with Ed you know, fantasy clown Doctor Rodo,
and we talked about nick Emmanu Worry, and nick Emmanu
(01:46:17):
Worry has lived up to everything we said this year,
and he will knock the shit out of CMC when
he comes into his zone. That's what we think.
Speaker 4 (01:46:27):
But am I gonna have CMC on my DF slate?
Speaker 2 (01:46:31):
Hell yeah, I just got a notification that said he
was my number one player owned last week because you
couldn't pass him up because he's gonna get the work.
So JSN and Christian McCaffrey, you could say get an
edge on Pooka Adams Swift. So for me, I but
(01:46:51):
I feel that the Rams Bears game is gonna score
the most points this week. So if it's gonna score
the most points, that's what I want. A piece of
that action. Dude, we got it, That's what we got.
Let's see if there's anything that I'm I'm not worried
about Denver. Buffalo has one of the best pass defenses
(01:47:13):
in the league, and so they'll be able to handle
just Courtland Sutton with a bunch of gimmick guys underneath.
Don't forget Peyton likes to play dumbball sometimes, and dumbball
can get your beat, so hence running.
Speaker 3 (01:47:30):
You know it.
Speaker 2 (01:47:31):
Just to me, that's just the thing that's gonna happen.
So hey, I could be wrong though, right, We could
be wrong, and somebody else could be right. But for me,
I just don't see Denver putting forty five points up
on the Buffalo Bills.
Speaker 4 (01:47:48):
I just don't do that.
Speaker 3 (01:47:49):
I go on Dan's good. Adam was crushed on a
short week. Yeah, but Alam plays her and he reminds
me of Ben Roethlisberger. Man Ben Roethlisberger was hurt his
whole career. He he slayed injured every day. He was
on the injury report every week. He had a broken nose,
(01:48:13):
a broken rib, of broken toe, a broken finger, and
he came out limping. He came out in this second
quarter because he couldn't start a game. Dudes don't know football. Hey,
check the resume and this man right here.
Speaker 2 (01:48:32):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I will, I'll be I'll just put
it like this. Go check. Go check what we've done
this year in the fight club. Go check what we
do on football. We were I was five and one
last week. Gave that parlay out. Nobody else is giving
you that out. I'm giving out more than anybody. Most
of the DFS experts have bailed on most of all
(01:48:54):
of you. So if you think that a DFS expert
that has bailed on all of you is more valuable
than some that's sitting here and some of the best
contact that you get, that's it should have.
Speaker 3 (01:49:07):
But where is the Chiefs Kingdom right now? I am
They're They're in Cancun. They're not even in the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (01:49:17):
The Panthers were close, but we were the better team.
We played around and we almost found out. That's the thing.
That's a good so. So if you're gonna so we
could sit here and debate this and stuff like that,
But you came on at the end of the show
to come talk this. You can have been talking this
the whole game with the rest of the people. Got
can do that alive, dude, you gotta come join us
(01:49:38):
for the UFC.
Speaker 3 (01:49:39):
We're one of the lucky Mahomes towards a c O.
I'm sorry. Your queen got hurt, bro, Your your queen
got hurt.
Speaker 2 (01:49:49):
I apologize, but they were practically out of the playoffs anyway.
Speaker 3 (01:49:53):
Yeah, he's the queen, He's the queen of the league, bro.
Speaker 2 (01:49:56):
Yeah he That team wasn't gonna go far. And you
can blame that on your running backs. You guys haven't
addressed your running backs at all. And also your defense
solid as always, one of the best defenses again in
the league always, and that's because of Andy Reid and
the coaching staff. Even with Mahomes, you guys were getting
shured up. You guys were losing close games, something you
(01:50:19):
guys didn't ever do. And now that you guys have
done that, you guys know what it feel likes to
think where I like Patrick.
Speaker 3 (01:50:27):
Mahomes, I'm not.
Speaker 2 (01:50:28):
I don't mind the Chiefs. I've vermil went to the
Chiefs after the Rams, and we got some picks for him.
By the way, if Tomlin does get picked up by somebody,
there's gonna be some draft picks on that too.
Speaker 3 (01:50:39):
So here he already here. He already said he is
not he doesn't want to coach no more. But you're
never out when you have Patrick Patrick. Goat Mahomes. I
think he's a product of a system. He's a product.
Speaker 2 (01:50:56):
I don't think he's a system. Quart about that.
Speaker 4 (01:50:58):
Man's done things that I've is just amazing at what
he does.
Speaker 2 (01:51:02):
He's making those drives.
Speaker 3 (01:51:03):
He's quarterback. He's a system quarterback.
Speaker 2 (01:51:09):
For a whole podcast. But you know, hey, jeez, we
just I love I love talking football and getting it.
Kelsey has done so back to back to the box.
He's got Kelsey has done. But Swift for the Bears.
Take it Kelsey, Swift swap Kelsey.
Speaker 3 (01:51:27):
I think it was retired, yeah, Kelsey said he's done.
Speaker 10 (01:51:32):
Yeah, So you know what running back I want to
see on Kansas City b R E E C E
H A L L Priest Paul put Briest Hall on
the Chiefs.
Speaker 4 (01:51:46):
Y'all be in the super Bowl next year.
Speaker 3 (01:51:49):
What is Buddy talking about? Brom just messing with you.
I'd like to talk. I talk wrestling, I talk reckless,
that's all. Yeah, uh yeah, I'm just I'm just messing
with you. Man, if you really want to talk about it,
we could talk about.
Speaker 2 (01:52:05):
It, you know, like that. But like we could have
a football banter show if you want to. We could
just do that at some point, but not two hours
into our podcast.
Speaker 3 (01:52:17):
I would love to see Montgomery. I would love to
see Montgomery go be the running back there because he is, uh,
he's a free agent this year from the Lions, and
Montgomery needs a home where he's number one.
Speaker 2 (01:52:36):
You know, I don't even think I think Montgomery is
a better Pa Checko, And I think I'd rather put
money on Montgomery because Montgomery is gonna You could probably
get him for a snicker bar right now, and he
didn't really come in there.
Speaker 3 (01:52:51):
He is a spelling beach hip.
Speaker 2 (01:52:55):
Yeah, I love it. We we love to have fun,
like we we.
Speaker 3 (01:53:01):
We could talk reckless. Yeah, we could talk reckless all
the time. But I'm sure you have a lot to
say because I'm a Steelers fan. I'm a Steelers. Don't
bring the recklessness towards the Steeler fan. It is what
it is. I'm just saying stuff about I'm just saying
stuff about the AFC because I am a Steelers fan.
Speaker 4 (01:53:23):
Yeah yeah, and and you know me, I'm a Rams fan.
Speaker 2 (01:53:26):
I don't I know it earlier one of the guys,
other guys asked that, but I went like that, so
kind of know where I'm at on that. But for me,
this is what we do.
Speaker 4 (01:53:35):
He said, welcome to can't cool. The Rodgers is done. Yeah, yeah,
he's done.
Speaker 2 (01:53:40):
I think if Tom came back, our team pulled up
with your team.
Speaker 3 (01:53:44):
Now we're all chilling.
Speaker 2 (01:53:46):
Yeah, you won't have to She's Kingdom. You won't have
to worry about about the Steelers for a moment there.
Might you want to be back to winning the division
next year.
Speaker 3 (01:53:57):
You still got the best coach in the league.
Speaker 4 (01:53:59):
Bro, Yeah, yeah, you can't. Kids, And I look, you.
Speaker 3 (01:54:04):
Got the Walris. You got the Walris. Best coach in
the league.
Speaker 2 (01:54:08):
If I know that, Breece Hall would be a pool.
But if you could get Brice Hall and David Montgomery
on that team, I would really love it. I would
be fine with Montgomery going there getting more of that
work underneath. I think you're gonna have to bring in
a tight end if and that is, like Kelsey said,
he's gonna be done that happens, I'm not trusting, no agree.
(01:54:31):
So we need a tight end there because Reid's system
relies on the tight end and so well it's it's
one of the flashy playbook parts of his thing. So
we need a tight end. You have Rice, you have
everybody else.
Speaker 3 (01:54:45):
Now.
Speaker 2 (01:54:46):
I like Hollywood Brown, I love the Chiefs makeup Xavier Worthy.
Maybe one gets traded, maybe one gets dropped, but I
feel that right now that would be the pace. You
guys need a stellar running back the way that you
got used as the Chiefs use Skareem Hunt. That's like
the Mickey Mouse version of so pushing for a long time, bru.
Speaker 3 (01:55:10):
I think I think they need a bell call bell
cow back like David Montgomery. Man put him at the
bell cow and get someone for a third down back
that I would. I think that's what that I think
that's what that team needs.
Speaker 2 (01:55:26):
So if you get Montgomery, you take that money and
you throw it on a receiver. I know that they
say that that they have all these receivers, and I
know she Rice is the deal. But back to the
I'll answer that in a few seconds. But on the
back of the back part of it, when you see
all that, I wouldn't mind, Like I'm not mvs. You
(01:55:47):
can't bring him back. No, you would need like you're
not going to get a Devanta Adams either, Jamison Williams
from Detroit. You need somebody like him. But then you
could say worth him, right, you could say that Hollywood
Brown's that guy.
Speaker 3 (01:56:05):
Right, you need a solid number two, and you had
Juju and Juju was good in Pittsburgh for a long time.
But he and he's played a key role in the
Chiefs offense. But I don't think he's that guy anymore.
(01:56:27):
The Chiefs need a number two receiver and they need
a bellcal running back. Yeah, and yes, Tyreek Hill is
kind of cooked because without his legs, he's nothing.
Speaker 2 (01:56:40):
Yeah. Now, I could see him going back there as
like you know, to rehab come in late in the season.
But I don't think you spend the I thought about that.
I have thought about that. We have actually talked about
Tyreek Hill going back to Kansas City, and I think
the fit would be good. I think that he could
get his legs and people would still have to respect
(01:57:00):
that game breaking ability that he has because he's even
with the speed, he still can make thing. Okay, Rico
Daddell go into the Chiefs, that man would be pissed
as shit after what Carolina did to him. I agree
with that Carolina lost that game because they didn't use
enough for Rico Dawdle. They just went back to Tuba.
Hunter is a great player too, so it was kind
of hard. But I felt bad for Daddle, and Daddle
(01:57:22):
had his his comments and he said he wants to
go somewhere to be a number one, So that would
be that would be back. That would be good, all right,
bock of the box too. I'll answer that three win,
three K on golf. I had a six thousand dollars
win on fandual betting. When I hit oh, it was
(01:57:46):
like a nine leg parlay. It was two touchdowns, A
bunch of yards had to get it. So I've hit that.
But I've hit a few thousand dollars lineups as well too.
On DFS UFC, I've hit that. On UFC, I've hit
a one hundred dollars bets as well to just getting
off that because I said, like I said earlier, my
unit's five.
Speaker 4 (01:58:05):
So when I'm putting that five dollars on a.
Speaker 2 (01:58:07):
Plus twenty six twenty three hundred, you know, we're just
getting back the hunting spot, right. So yeah, that's what
I got. But again, those big bets are one with
the money that we build, that we teach to build.
I love y.
Speaker 3 (01:58:22):
Hey, Kenneth Vick is back. We got ken Bug.
Speaker 4 (01:58:33):
People don't know, and for people that don't know, we're
gonna hashtag that can.
Speaker 2 (01:58:43):
That's our hashtag, ken Vic. Everybody's got that. I can't
wait to play with that. But man, we've gone two hours. Everybody,
listen back to the show. Listen to it. You know,
we had a lot of people take this shows that
last week and apply it for wins, getting into the
second round for best Ball. You know that means a
lot to us as well too, that someone was able
to take our information through all the insanity and move
(01:59:06):
on and hopefully have a chance at make it extra money.
Speaker 4 (01:59:09):
Yeah, I want to go drink a beer.
Speaker 3 (01:59:11):
So hey, thanks jeez, thanks man, you're cool with hell
two man, Come watch, Come watch next Thursday. Man, we
talk about that.
Speaker 2 (01:59:23):
You want to see the real fight, cup of pain.
Come talk some UFC with us and you'll fall in love, dude.
And if you don't bet UFC, you will after you
watch that show. Yes, sir, all right, Dan, any outstros
before we get out of here?
Speaker 3 (01:59:40):
Ah, Man, I can't wait until next week, first real
episode of the season, and we'll get all your bets.
We get the soup Canada week and we get to
talk fight. Finally. It's been so long, it's been what
four weeks? Four weeks.
Speaker 2 (01:59:57):
I took some good hits to the head yesterday and
that felt great, woke me back up, So it's gonna
wake me up in time for this card. I can't wait.
Speaker 4 (02:00:04):
I want to say thank you to everybody that came on, commented,
like shared.
Speaker 2 (02:00:09):
Came in us. We we We're fine with that. We'll
come back. This is what sports is about, absolutely, Yes, Dan.
Without sports, I feel that some people wouldn't have that
bonding power, and it's a better bonding power than most
things in this world.
Speaker 4 (02:00:24):
So I'd rather do this every single day and every.
Speaker 2 (02:00:26):
Single week with people like you and people that it
came into her chat, especially Ken Vick, Kenneth Vick, than
you have it right there, everybody to break the ken
vic Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:00:46):
