Let's start with the science that's studying how your genes

Thanks great to be here, Thank you.

Yeah, well again, Doug. This was a great conversation we
had last time, and I buyed you back because I
want to talk more about how the future of supplements
are evolving. And you've called micro jail technology the future.
Can you can you tell our listeners why?

Speaker 3 (15:20):
Sure, it's all about absorption. But you said something interesting
in your opening. You mentioned the term real food, and
so that made me think about kind of just just
a quick tangent I want to take when do you
ever see in nature food that is one devoid of

(15:41):
any water or oil, completely dry, cram together and stamped
into a hard substance with binding glues. Where do you
ever find that in nature?

Speaker 4 (15:56):
No?

Speaker 3 (15:57):
Right, So what we've done is we have taken basically
industrial manufacturing methods that yield a tablet and in many cases,
you know, a dry capsule too, has some of the
similar similar issues. And we're expecting that that substance that's

(16:17):
never found in nature to be swallowed and provide the
same benefits that real food provides. It's never going to
happen because in nature, foods are always found with nutrients,
water soluble nutrients dissolved in water within that food, you know,
whether it's a carrot or you know, with fat soluble nutrients.

(16:41):
For example, a vitamin E is going to be found
in nuts, right, which might seem dry, but they actually
have about eight to twelve percent water content in a nut, right,
even though it seems dry. So you always have water
or lipids oils where these nutrients are pre dissolved. Right,
That's how it's delivered food. Yet modern supplements asked the

human body to do something was never designed to do. Right,
reverse that industrial manufacturing before the absorption can even begin.
So you have to take this dry tablet, let it disintegrate,
and then the GI track has to basically form it,
basically solubilize these nutrients. And oftentimes there isn't you know,

(17:26):
a natural oil unless you're co ingesting it with olive
oil or something else. And so it's just the wrong
way to do something. It's the wrong way to deliver nutrients.
And so I always go back to nature and look
at what the human body was designed or evolved, you know,
to take in, and how it was evolved to take

(17:46):
in nutrients. And so what we did with healthy Cell
was mimic nature. In our gels, everything is pre solublized.
So the fat solubles, you know, vitamin E, vitamin D,
vitamin K, some herbal extracts as will always solubilized or
dissolved in healthy oils. Water solubles dissolved in water. And
then we put that together to create this gel matrix,

so it's basically in a bioready state for your body
to easily absorb. Originally, we designed it to be similar
to the structure of breast milk, but you can also
look at food and say, actually, these these nutrients are

you know, in the nineteen twenties. See, we're still using
them today, even though we know people aren't really absorbing
what they think they're absorbing.

M Yeah, and that's a good a good point, you know,
talking about that ancient wisdom of getting those real foods
and how is it ready to be digested with a body.
And we were seeing technology that's redefining the you know,
say fitness and also medicine, and now it's redefining nutrients

new form. It's a way to rethink how our cells

So let's get back into into our conversation today. We've
been talking about this, and we've been talking about you know,
there's there's lots of different options out there, a lot
of different things on everywhere, TikTok, wherever you're looking, and
there's endless options and we but on the show, we

(23:48):
often we want to talk about about supplements, nutrients, everything
that has been clinically tested, and also something known as
clean supplementation. So many supplements they look similar on the label,
the same nutrients, the same milligrams. But we're talking today
about the delivery system and how that determines the results

(24:08):
within the body. So what what are folks missing when
they're scanning the label and they're comparing, you know, some
options that maybe aren't clinically tested and in those that are.

Speaker 3 (24:21):
So it starts I'll just kind of bring you into
the eleven explain how we look at things. So it
starts with nutrient selection. So you can get, for example,
in vitamin B twelve from multiple multiple different sources and
multiple multiple different forms, and they're not all equal. Right.

(24:43):
So for example, if you take a cheap tablet multivitamin
with a cyanic comboloman in it, and you have like
fifty percent of the population forty to fifty percent of
the population, certain genetic mutations that make it hard for
you to actually utilize that form of B twelve, right,

(25:08):
you're not going to get anything from it. Same thing
with you know that if you have a folic acid
right instead of some sort of methyl folate, your body
can't really use that and it actually can become toxic
and build up for certain people. So it starts with
the right form. So you want, you know, for B twelve,
you want a methylated B twelve, you know, methyl ethic

(25:29):
coobalamine foliate, you know you want a methyl methyl folate.
So so there are certain considerations with ingredient sourcing in
the forms of the ingredients, but even more than that,
it comes down to even if it's the right form
of ingredient, is it in the right format meaning pill

(25:51):
versus gel where you can actually absorb it. So even
if you have the right forms, they can be stuck
on binding glues, they can be aggregated together, they can
be in a tablet that won't just a great and
it's still not going to do much for you. So
it's both looking at what's in it, but also how
it's delivered to the body.

Speaker 2 (26:09):
So let's get into the science just a little bit more.
So healthy sales formulas that you go into the science
quite a bit on these. How do you decide which
ingredients make it into the microgels in which don't ad
even if they're trending everywhere like we mentioned with like
TikTok and other other places, how do you decide what
goes into this microgel technology?

Sure, we have our nutritionus dietitians medical doctors that look
at what ingredients are best for a certain need state,
and then what source, what form, And then we have
the added steps of figuring out how does this ingredient taste, smell,
how stable does it stay in water? How does it

interact with other ingredients? So it's a multifactorial thing. It's
very difficult to formulate in gels, very easy to throw
something into binding losing stampaned tablet. That's why most people
do it that way. So for us, it really starts there.
And the second part of your question was.

Well, we're just trying to see, you know, with all
the options that are out there, the trends whatever. Sure,
what yeah, yeah, what makes the difference between what healthy
cell decides goes into these these micro gels and what
does not?

Speaker 3 (27:26):
I mean for us again, because it's because it's a gel,
we have certain considerations. Certain things degrade much quicker when
you add water. Right, So if you have, like, for example,
one of these trending ingredients in MN right in the
longevity space, if you put that in a gael, it's
going to degrade very quickly and you're likely not going

(27:48):
to be able to deliver much of anything a few
weeks later, even if it was in there to begin with.
And then you know it's got a shelf life of
a year or whatever it is. After a few weeks,
there's going to be nothing there. So you have to
you have to understand the degradation of these nutrients too.
But in general at Healthy Cell, we don't jump on trends.

We don't jump on trending ingredients. We don't do single
ingredients either. We look at things that have a very
long history of safety and efficacy and that where there's

want you to say, for the listeners that are new

what's the best way to take to take the microgel packets.
Is it straight from the pack or can people mix
it with foods or smoothies.

So first you don't need to chill it, but I
do recommend putting it in the refrigerator. It's a great
experience chilled. Most people will take it right out of
the gelback, rip the top off, take it down. It's
twenty five millilters, which is less than an ounce. You can, also, however,
mix it in water. Some people like the taste of
it in water. They want the extra hydration, so they

mix it in water and you'll see, when you put
it in water, you mix it, it fully solubilizes, It
goes right in because everything is fully solubilized, and that's

things need to be dissolved or soluble in order for

is your favorite way to take healthy cells microgels?

So for me I like to put our like every morning,
I put our joint health mobility jail, which is our
