Scientists have now developed artificial intelligence that can analyze MRI
images of the brain and can predict the onset of
Alzheimer's disease up to ten years before the symptoms ever appear.
That's right before the confusion, before the memory lapses, before

where researchers have built what they call a brain age clock.
Think about that term for a second, brain age clock.
It's not measuring your years on Earth. It's measuring how

have a very special guest joining us today, and that

is Jane Jansen. She's a natural and holistic practitioner at

a unique perspective as a medical professional who, prior to
becoming a natural and holistic practitioner, has spent years in
radiology in ultrasound, doing research and also forming tests on
patients with all different types of health problems, including cardiovascular

discuss a very exciting in a newly published study that

Thank you all right, Welcome back, Jane. According to the
Alzheimer's Association, estimated seven point two million Americans age sixty
five and older are currently living with Alzheimer's. That's a
huge number. Can you go into a little bit more
detail on that, I.

Mean, the concern Also there's another study that came out
recently too that showed that between twenty thirteen and twenty
twenty three, young adults ages eighteen to thirty nine shows
significant more double the amount of cognitive decline. So it's

not just an old people that we have to be
concerned obviously, you know, but also the younger generation is
showing earlier decline than they should be. And so again
there's so many different studies out there right now on
the you know, trying to use different medical treatments and

(14:25):
things that some have been okay, some they're still kind
of waiting on. But the exciting thing is new studies,
particularly looking at nitric oxide, which is a natural that
our body actually produces, but we can also enhance to
help prevent down the road vascular disease as well as

again brain function particularly cognitive function in the future.

And absolutely, Jane, I think that's an important reminder that

Anecdotal things are really interesting, but the science explaining why
these things are beneficial and what they do for our
body to me, is a key component to understand how
it's going to help, particularly for my patients. And over
a thousand published scientific studies articles have shown that age

S garlic extract is effective in helping the vascular system
over a thousand. But now this news study that has
just recently come out. In particular, it was published in
the World Academy of Science's Journal, shows that age garlic
extract can enhance effectively the cognitive increasing of nitro nitric

oxides availability in the brain and then the vascular system.

Yeah, and that's Jane, that's significant. It's a again, this
is a twelve week improvement that's shown it in a
very well controlled study. And that's no small, small task
or small thing. And so I appreciate how this team

unpack what these findings really mean for everyday listeners looking

I think the research is showing up to a loss
of up to seventy five percent by age age seventy
Is that? Is that what you're seeing in practice as well?
Like when when we start to do this, is it like, hey,

how do we slow this down? And then now we
get now we got a step that we can do that.

Yes, And I again, unfortunately nobody wants to you know,
go on to develop Alzheimer's or dementia. We've all had
you know, family members or friends that you know it's
very sad. It's also but we don't want to make
sure it doesn't happen to us. And so uh, the
age garlic extract again because of this study by cardiologist,

famous cardiologist doctor Matthew Budoff that ninety two percent of
the people in the age garlic extract group had no
cognitive impairment during the study at the end of the study.
Prior to the study, they tested them. At the end
of the study, they tested them and ninety two percent

had no cognitive decline as compared to the people who
run the placebo and they did have significant cognitive decline.

study and again I'm talking about this estimated you know,

over seven million older Americans are currently living with Alzheimer's,
and we're talking about the benefit of kyolic age garlic
extract in improving the nitric oxide levels levels in the brain,
the blood flow to the brain, and we know that
the production of nitric oxide it declines as we age.

You told us some foods that were rich in nitric
oxide and that can help offset this. But I want
again to hit some of those key key statistics, key
highlights of the study before we get into how the

Again. I think this is an amazing study. I was
a double blind study and over twelve weeks, significant benefit
in those taking age garlic extract as far as cognitive decline.
And within that twelve week period, they tested them before,
they tested them afterwards, and they had a ninety two

percent of the people in the group taking age garlic
extract did not show cognitive decline as compared to the
people who were taking a placebo Wow.

And that's a the study. It was a double blinded,
