Tom speaks with Robert Lyman, an Ottawa-based energy policy consultant and Principal at ENTRANS Policy Research Group, Inc. about the huge problems with Erin O’Toole’s climate change plan.
Mr. Lyman spent 37 years in the Canadian public service as a diplomat, economist, and policy advisor and ten years as a consultant on energy, transportation and the environmental policy issues. For the last twenty years of his career, Robert was very much involved in analyzing and advising on climate change issues and administering climate programs. He retired in 2006 as Director General, Environmental Affairs, at Transport Canada. Since retiring, Robert has worked as a part-time consultant advising federal and provincial governments on energy, environment and transportation issues.
He often contributes articles to the blog of the Friends of Science Society (https://www.friendsofscience.org/)
, a Calgary-based non-profit organization that takes a skeptical view of the thesis that humans are causing catastrophic global warming. We see Robert’s articles in the National Post several times a year too. To
