Dr. Z is the Director of the East Bay Behavior Therapy Center and has over 18 years of experience helping children, adolescents, and adults break free from anxiety, perfectionism, and emotional avoidance. Beginning her career as a school psychologist before becoming a clinical psychologist, she brings an effective combination of both compassion and science to her work. 

In addition to The ACT Workbook for the Anxious Procrastinator, Dr. Z has written six books, including Living Beyond OCD Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Skills for Perfectionism and High-Achieving Behaviors. She was also nominated as a Fellow of the Association of Contextual Behavioral Science.
