The Porch presents a spiritual warning received in prayer. Using the imagery of an approaching storm to call believers to prepare, remain spiritually steady, avoid fear and emotional reactions, and trust that the enemy’s plans will not succeed.

Believers should “batten down the hatches”—that is, take prudent precautions and prepare for difficult circumstances without panicking. The Church needs to guard their hearts, endure faithfully, proclaim the gospel, and place its hope in God’s mercy.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Hello.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Welcome to The Porch on Firefall Talk Radio. I'm Richard Grund.
This is where you'll find the uncompromised red-letter basics.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Of the Word of God.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
We focus on the book of Acts Church, the purest,
most effective form of the church, to see how they
serve the Lord. And when we do that, we find
the church the Lord intended and not the one man created.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
The porch is a.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Non-denominational, full gospel approach to the Bible. It's based on
the examples of the book of Acts Church, and its
purpose has always been to restore the priesthood of the
believer while regaining the world's shaking influence. that the early
church had. The church age isn't over. The upper room
experience is as much for today as it was on

(01:11):
the day of Pentecost. It's yours if you want it.
We offer you the word as the apostles would have
to the Jewish and Gentile believers of their day. We
use both Yeshua and Jesus when speaking of the Lord.
We prefer to use the term Messiah rather than Christ
as it more accurately describes reflects how he was referred

(01:33):
to by those who knew him. Additionally, when it's needed,
we'll provide definitions of words in Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic
so you get the full meaning of what is being said.
Getting back to basics, not just a motto, it's a
mandate from the Lord, and we are living by it.

box if you need to mail that blessing. We appreciate you,
your support, your encouragement, and your prayers. Thank you for
being a part of the porch. Contact us if you
need prayer. Remember, we care about you. I always start
out with praise before we go into the word. Of course,
I praise him for my salvation. And because of that,

(02:36):
I have a home. I got my wife and family back.
I have my sons and daughter-in-laws and grandchildren and furry kids.
And everything I have is because of that moment of
making him Lord of my life. I praise him for
his provision and protection, for the dreams and the visions,
for his abiding favor for divine health and healing. I

(03:01):
praise him because he's as good as his word for
the continuing revelation of the Holy Spirit and for being
a new creation and living in these prophetic times.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Now let's pray.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Of course, I always start out praying for the peace
of Jerusalem. Psalm 122, starting verse 6, pray for the
peace of Jerusalem and they prosper who love you Peace
be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces. For the
sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say,
Peace be within you. I know there are some people

(03:37):
that don't like that, but let's get real here. According
to the Bible, Israel is the pebble in the shoe
of the world. And God deals with the world through
Israel and through his relationship with them. The Bible is
pretty clear about that. All the writers were Jewish. Even Luke,
who was Greek, was a proselyte and celebrated the Jewish holidays.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
And went to temple.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
And then, of course, he, along with the others, received
Yeshua as Messiah. Pray for the fatherless and the widows,
the persecuted and the martyred, the innocents, both in and
out of the womb, both human and animal, and those
who are victims of injustice. God hates injustice, and so
should we. I pray for divine wholeness, health, and healing

(04:27):
in me and my wife and you and every member
of our family and all those that we love. Everybody's
going through their own thing, whether it's the respiratory thing
going around, whether it's physical, whether it's emotional. Whatever is
going on, I speak to you in the name of Yeshua.

(04:48):
And I say, peace, be still, be healed. I pray
for protection that Psalm 91 covering during these supernaturally dangerous
times for the inspiring presence of the Holy Spirit to
fire up the remnant. That we would arise and answer

(05:10):
the call to action. That those that have been blessed
would be a blessing so that we could do what
needs to be done. Pray for edification and encouragement. A
lot of people are down right now. They're burdened. Rise
up in the name of the Lord. Be filled with

(05:30):
the Holy Spirit. Let's stand against the principalities and the
knowledge that they rise up and present against God. Let's
stand fast in the faith and the power of his
name against the kingdom of darkness for the kingdom of God.
So Father, Abba, Papa, we thank you. We thank you

(05:52):
for your love. We thank you for your grace and
your mercy. We thank you for Yeshua. Thank you, Lord,
for doing what you did for us on that cross,
for being the sacrificial lamb that wiped away all of
our sins. We never want to forget that, nor do

(06:15):
we ever want to take it for granted. Lord, we
thank you for sending back the Holy Spirit to walk
with us, to teach us, to guide us, And Holy Spirit,
that's what we ask right now. Take over. Do whatever
it is you want to do during this time. Bless
and protect the technology. Let this word go forth in

(06:36):
the fullness of the power of God and in the
authority of the name of Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus the Messiah.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
And I pray all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.

Speaker 3 (07:13):

The date of this broadcast serves as the registered date
of the following information. All right, tonight I'm sharing with
you a word that the Lord gave me, and I'm

(07:34):
not one of those people that every time I get
a word, I run to social media and say.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
Oh, I saw the face of Jesus in a pizza.
He's coming back to Italy or Brooklyn. I don't know,
but there he was. Now, come on.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
If he tells me to share it, I do. And
he's told me to share this one. But I want
to preface it by two other words that he gave.
Back in January of 2025, he did a Bible study
called Storm Warning. It was a word and a warning
for 2025. And this is what it was about. Larry

(08:12):
and I were praying, and the Lord said, A storm
is coming. Hunker down. Shock and awe is coming from
the enemy. And he used the word blitzkrieg, and I'll
explain that. Then he said, Stand strong. Do not react
emotionally or fearfully. Plans are being made that will not
come to fruition. And you are in a season of change,

(08:36):
winter to spring, death to life. A storm is coming.
And I asked, natural or supernatural? And he said, both.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Then again in June of.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
2025, June 14th to be exact, in prayer he said
to me, war is coming.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
World war is coming.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Civil war is coming. Religious war is coming. There is
an explosion of religious fervor for a Savior that they
have created in their own image. They will say it's me,
but it won't be. I am not in their worship,
nor am I in their hearts. A time of intense

(09:21):
sorrow has begun, and only those who know me personally
and intimately will be able to endure. Prepare accordingly. Pray accordingly.
position yourself accordingly. And he ended it by saying, now.

(09:42):
So I shared that, and it brought to mind the
scripture that we actually talked about last week, Colossians 3,
verses 23 and 24, work willingly at whatever you do
as though you are working for the Lord rather than
for people. Remember that the Lord will give you So
it reminds us again that whatever we do, whatever the
task is, whatever the calling is, to work at it
from our soul to put in our very best effort

(10:20):
as something done for the Lord and not for man
or for the world. It's time for personal kingdom building
or personal kingdom builders, and that the storm, the storm
he was warning about, would require kingdom of God builders

(10:42):
working together. And those things tied into this, Warnings that
he had been giving to me since 2007 and 2011,
and they're all happening now. And I know I've shared
with you, and it's in the book, The Supernatural Battle,
that generals of evil were released in 2007 and the

(11:04):
war shifted. The prayers that used to work no longer did.
The battle got heated and stronger and harder. What happened
in 2007? that the enemy, I believe, helped inspire or
had a hand in to help them do that. Well,

(11:25):
2007 was a turning point for the world in science
and technology. And as I read this to you, think
about what's going on today. Netflix began streaming content. Steve
Jobs introduced the first iPhone for Apple. Tesla unveiled the iPhone.

(11:47):
Electric car, the Tesla Roadster. Social media took off like crazy.
And the CERN Large Hadron Collider was powered up for
the first time. So in 2007, everything that came out
and came to fruition is affecting us now and in

(12:10):
the things we're dealing with. In 2010, he gave me
that warning about Blitzkrieg. that the enemy was going to
come and use the same tactics that the Nazis used in.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
World War II.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
I shared it in the Sea Seminar in Groton, Connecticut
in 2011. It was confirmed by Russ Dizdar the very
next day. And we saw with SRT our missions became
more intense and the assignments increased and the presence of
the enemy that was showing up increased in power and number.

(12:46):
They were more arrogant. They were more aggressive. And what
we learned back then and we see now is the
enemy is not afraid of us, nor are they easily
dissuaded from their objective. Always remember that the enemy is
working towards a final objective. 2017, we saw a shift

(13:07):
in the hierarchy in that realm. Lilith rose to power,
and I think a lot of what we're seeing now
with the murder of children and everything that's going on
right now in that attack, it or she is behind it.
And if you want to know, Lilith is not a
fallen angel. She's not even a firstborn of the Nephilim.
She's probably a secondborn. 2024, we saw another shift. And

(13:33):
both of those years were solar eclipses. In 2024, Tammuz
came to a position the Babylonian sun god that the
Greeks named Apollo. And around that same time, instead of
each entity, each prince, each army working for themselves, they

(13:57):
came together in an uneasy alliance, in a confederacy, if
you will, to instigate installing the Antichrists and their own
rise to power. That meant those who were called to
work for the kingdom of God, they needed to step
up their commitment. Intercessory prayer had to be more targeted.

(14:21):
Instead of shotgunning into the heavenlies, we had to have
a specific laser-like focus. We need to come into unity
under the King of kings and the Lord of lords,
not under any man or denomination. No, he is the king.
He's the captain of the host. And we each serve

(14:42):
him with our calling. And we're doing it for the
kingdom of God and for his church. Now that brings
me to September 2nd, 2026. And in a time of
prayer with Larry, the Lord said, batten down the hatches,

(15:03):
storm warning. It was an interesting phrase. I'm not a
nautical person, but you know Larry being a.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
Navy SEAL is. So he looked it up.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
What does batten down the hatches mean? According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary,
dates around 1882, it means to prepare for a difficult
or dangerous situation. Prepare for difficult times or challenges ahead.
Batten down the hatches simply means prudent preparation, not panic.

(15:37):
reasonable precautions against potential troubles, whether expected or unexpected. So
it's a naval term. And it was used for preparing
for a storm by fastening down canvas over the doorway
and hatches or openings with strips of wood called battens.

(15:58):
So the canvas covers the opening and the wood, the battens,
hold it in place until the storm is over. So
when a storm was imminent, the crew would cover the
ship hatches, all the openings with tarps, with canvas, seal
them shut with the wooden strips, the battens, and that

(16:20):
kept the water from entering the ship. And that action
was crucial to ensure the safety and integrity of the
ship during stormy weather. That's what he's saying to the church.
Prepare for a storm. Brace yourselves. Get ready for rough times.

(16:47):
Take the necessary precautions and fortify your defenses. Now, why
am I sharing this with you? Well, he told me to,
like I said, kind of in line with Ezekiel 33.
When the watchman sees the enemy coming, he sounds the alarm.

(17:07):
to warn the people. And this watchman, like the watchman
of those days, doesn't just stand up on a tower.
He comes down and fights. And I've always lived by
Jeremiah 33.3. He used to wake me up at 3.33
every night. And what came to mind was the scripture,

(17:29):
Jeremiah 33.3, Call to me and I will answer you
and show you great and mighty things. which you do
not know. Hidden things. Things that you don't distinguish or
recognize or have knowledge of nor understand. Call to him

(17:52):
and he will answer you. This isn't about fear. I'm
not trying to frighten you. We're going to tie this
to the word. And at the end of it, you
have to go before the Lord and say, what do
I need to do, Lord? There's storm warning. In the world,
a storm warning is a display of storm signals. It's

(18:13):
a notification that gives warning of an approaching storm. Or
it warns difficult times lie ahead of you. So to
the church, I say storm warning. Now in the Bible,
tempest is another word for storm. We see it two places,

(18:35):
Matthew 8, starting verse 23. And when he, he being Yeshua,
got into a boat, his disciples followed him. And suddenly
a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the
boat was covered with the waves.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
But he was asleep.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
And then his disciples came to him and awoke him, saying, Lord,
save us, we are perishing. But he said to them,
Why are you fearful, O you of little faith? And
then he arose and rebuked the winds and the sea,
and there was great calm. So the men marveled, saying,
Who can this be that even the winds and the

(19:16):
sea obey him? See it also in Luke chapter 8,
starting verse 22. Now it happened on a certain day
that he got into a boat with his disciples, and
he said to them, Let us cross over to the
other side of the lake. And they launched out, but
as they sailed, he fell asleep. And the windstorm came

(19:38):
down on the lake, and they were filling with water
and were in jeopardy. And they came to him and
awoke him, saying, Master, Master, we are perishing. Then he
arose and rebuked. the wind and the raging of the water,
and they ceased, and there was a calm. But he
said to them, Where is your faith? And they were

(19:58):
afraid and marveled to one another, saying to one another,
Who can this be? For he commands even the winds
and the waters that they obey him. The Nelson Study
Bible tells us the calming of the winds is the
first of four miracles in this section of the history

(20:22):
of the disciples. They demonstrate that Yeshua had authority over
a variety of phenomena, nature, demons, disease, even death. And
this first miracle, which takes place on the Sea of Galilee,
is a very dangerous area. Even the experienced fishermen feared

(20:44):
this kind of a storm. And what would happen is
the cool air rushing down the ravines and the hills
of the area would collide with the warm air, causing
sudden and strong storms. And we know what that's like,
especially here in Florida. You have hot weather, suddenly cool
weather comes in. They slam together and you get lightning

(21:06):
and thunderstorms. And I thought about the imagery there. cool
and hot, slamming into each other. When we, the hot,
the Holy Spirit, the fire of the Lord, come into
direct confrontation with the cool darkness of this fallen world,

(21:28):
a storm is created. But this chaos, this storm was
calmed with the spoken word. He spoke to it, and
it stopped. He rebuked it. Some believe that meant that

(21:49):
there was a demonic element to the storm, and I
believe that there can be at times. I've had enough
witnesses that could tell you I have rebuked storms, and
they have stopped. Psalm 95, starting verse 3. For the
Lord is the great God, and the great King above

(22:11):
all gods. In his hand are the deep places of
the earth. The heights of the hills are his also.
The sea is his, for he made it, and his
hands formed the dry land. O come, let us worship
and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord, our maker.

(22:31):
For he is our God, and we are the people
of his pasture and the sheep of his hand. That's
our hope in the storm. Nobody should ever say to us,
where's your faith? That's the question he asked them after
he rebuked the storm. He rebukes the disciples. Where's your faith?

(22:57):
God's aware of the situation. They should have trusted in
his protection, for he was powerful enough to control the
mighty winds and the waves. We know that God neither
slumbers nor sleeps. Yeshua, in his human form, was resting

(23:19):
in the boat. He wasn't afraid. He knew what could happen.
Their lack of faith produced fear instead of prayer. It's
going to take faith in this storm to endure it.
Mark 9, 23, the Lord said, if you can believe...

(23:43):
All things are possible to him who believes.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
What do you believe?

Speaker 2 (23:47):
If your belief is in the storm or the power
of the storm or the power of the winds, you're
in trouble. Your belief needs to be in him. His
miracles are miracles of the kingdom. God's authority is in control.
Not the world, not the flesh, not the devil. The

(24:09):
only possible answer that the disciples should have come to
is that this one, this Yeshua, to whom God had
given the authority over the kingdom, was enough for them.
So when they ask, who can this be? The answer
is simple. This is God in the flesh. He created

(24:33):
the winds and the seas, so it's no wonder that
he had authority over them. This should never be a
question in our life or in the life of anyone
who walks with the Lord. We should know who he is.
From the very beginning of his ministry, after the confrontation

(24:56):
with Satan in the desert in Luke chapter 4, in
Luke 4, 14, Yeshua returned in the power of the
Spirit to Galilee, and news of him went out throughout
all the surrounding region, and he taught in his synagogues,
being glorified by all. So the very beginning of his
ministry was to show who he was. And all of

(25:21):
the displays of the Lord's authority during his ministry were
designed to raise questions about his identity, and therefore our
behavior should do the same. And throughout the Bible, there
are frequent references to God's power over the storms. Psalm 107,
starting verse 28, Then they cry out to the Lord

(25:44):
in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distresses.
He calms the storm so that its waves are still.
Then they are glad because they are quiet. So he
guides them to their desired haven. Oh, that men would
give thanks to the Lord for his goodness and for

(26:06):
his wonderful works to the children of men. It's time
for us to follow this map. It's time for us
to follow his map.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
We were warned.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
We were warned about where we are right now. The
Lord called it the days of Noah. Luke 21, starting
verse 34, Take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be
weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and the cares of this life.
that the day, the day of the Lord would come
on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare

(26:46):
on those who dwell on the face of the earth.
Watch therefore and pray always that you will be counted
worthy to escape all these things that will come to
pass and to stand before the Son of Man. Matthew 24,
37 As it was in the days of Noah, so
shall it be. at the coming of the Son of Man.

(27:13):
So we know that. We shouldn't be surprised about it.
In the days of Noah, people paid little attention to God.
They were paying more attention to the fallen angels that
were on the earth at that time, the fallen watchers
of Genesis 6. They were seduced by them, and because

(27:35):
of that, Because of their commingling, they faced judgment. And
it'll be just the same when the Lord comes back.
Respected authors and teachers, recount for us what they think
it was like in the days of Noah. I've shared
it over the years. I've shared it in the seminars

(27:56):
I've done. There was sin, there was debauchery, there was
rampant demonic manifestation that were just commonplace among the people.
who had given themselves over to their base sinful desires.
Could that describe today? We add to that the understanding

(28:16):
that in those days the earth was filled with the
presence of the fallen watchers and their demonic hybrid offspring
known as the Nephilim, from which the demonic spirits that
are on this earth this day came from them after
they died in the flood. Yet during all of this,
During all of that, there was hope. No matter how

(28:41):
bad the storm is, no matter how bad the manifestation
of the enemy is, there's hope because Yeshua is.

Speaker 1 (28:49):
On the throne.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
That has not changed. Let's go to Genesis 6 since
that's all we're talking about. Let's pick it up with
verse 1. Now it came to pass, when men began
to multiply on the face of the earth, and the
daughters were born to them, that the sons of God,
the Bnei Ha Elohim, saw the daughters of men, that

(29:14):
they were beautiful, and they took wives for themselves of
all whom they chose. And the Lord said, Verse 3,
My spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he
is indeed flesh, yet his days shall be one hundred
and twenty years. There were giants on the earth in

(29:34):
those days and also afterward when the sons of God
came into the daughters of men. and they bore children
to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old,
men of renown, the Nephilim. We see an example of
that in the Greek and Roman gods and demigods of

(29:58):
early mythology.

Speaker 1 (30:01):
Verse 5, Then the Lord.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
Saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth,
and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart
were only evil continually. And the Lord was sorry that
he had made man on the earth, and he was
grieved in his heart. So the Lord said, I will
destroy man whom I have created from the face of

(30:26):
the earth, both man and beast. creeping things and birds
of the air, for I am sorry that I have
made them. Verse 8, but Noah found grace in the
eyes of God. This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah

(30:46):
was a just man, perfect in his generations, and many
people believe that meant his bloodline. Noah walked with God
and Noah begot three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. And
the earth was all so corrupt before God, and the

(31:10):
earth was filled with violence. So God looked upon the earth,
and indeed it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted
their way on the earth. So Noah, Noah stands out
during this time He's a man living in accordance with
God's revealed will, unlike the others of his day. Moses,

(31:35):
in his description of Noah, emphasizes Noah's unusual righteousness for
a man living among the spiritually degenerate humanity of his day.
Now here's an interesting note that I want to bring
to your attention. Ham, the youngest of Noah's sons, who,

(32:04):
by the way, Noah and his wife, his sons, and
their wives are all saved on the ark with two
of every animal, male and female. Out of Ham come
the western and southwestern nations known to the Hebrews. among

(32:25):
them being Canaan. Many of the enemies of Israel came
from Ham's lineage. Nimrod, the Hittites, the Jebusites, the Amorites,
the Girgashites, modern-day Egypt, Ethiopia, and Libya all traced back
to him. So God's grace towards Noah was extended to

(32:52):
his sons even though God knew that trouble would come
from it. So pray for your family. Pray that God's
grace upon you would extend to them. But do not
be fooled and think that because of that they will

(33:13):
turn out differently. Ham did not. Now is this important? Well,
I'm glad you asked. The spirit of the fallen angels
that were created in Genesis 6 still plague mankind today.

(33:37):
We're still dealing with that mistake. We're still dealing with
the incursion of Genesis 6. And it becomes more and
more obvious every day that they are out and about
and enjoying themselves. What disturbs me about that is, where

(34:02):
is the church? We were empowered and authorized to deal
with this. So if it's getting worse and worse, it's
our fault. The enemy's just doing what the enemy does.

(34:23):
And the Lord's not surprised. He warned us of this
through Paul in Romans 1, starting verse 28. And since
they did not see fit to acknowledge God or consider
him worth knowing as their creator, oh boy, does that
apply today, God gave them over to a depraved mind
to do things which are improper and repulsive until they

(34:46):
were filled, permeated, saturated with every kind of unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, Evil,
full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice, and mean-spiritedness. They're
gossips spreading rumors. They're slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful.

(35:13):
Inventors of new forms of evil.

Speaker 1 (35:16):
Boy, Paul would be shocked today.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
Disobedient and disrespectful to parents. Without understanding. untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful,
without pity. And although they know God's righteous decree and
his judgment that those who do such things deserve death,

(35:42):
yet they not only do them, but they even enthusiastically
approve and tolerate.

Speaker 1 (35:48):
Others who practice them.

Speaker 2 (35:52):
Every time I read that, wherever we are in history,
wherever we are in society, it looks and looks, oh boy,
so much more than that.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
It's so close to that.

Speaker 2 (36:05):
Every time I read that, I see society today getting
worse and worse and worse. So what did God do?
We see in Genesis 6, 13. God said to Noah,
the end of all flesh has come before me, for
the earth is filled with violence through them. And behold,

(36:29):
I will destroy them with the earth. So he tells
Noah to build an ark. And so Noah does. He
and his sons and most likely his wife and their daughters,
in the middle of all that debauchery, in the middle
of all that sin, in the middle of all that
demonic craziness, they're building an ark. can't even imagine the

(36:55):
abuse they were subjected to, the attacks, but they kept going.
Then in Genesis 7, 9, we see that he was
told to take them two by two into the ark,
male and female as God had commanded Noah. There in
the ark after it came to pass after seven days

(37:17):
that the waters of the flood.

Speaker 1 (37:19):
Were on the earth.

Speaker 2 (37:21):
So in the sixth Hundred year of Noah's life in
the second month, the seventeenth day of the month. On
that day all the fountains of the great deep were
broken up and the windows of heaven were opened. And
rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights.
Judgment and cleansing. So those that entered the ark, male

(37:50):
and female of all flesh, went in as God commanded,
and he shut them in. God sealed them in the
ark to save them. They're not in danger of drowning yet,
but they've taken the animals in. They themselves go in,
and God seals them in. He protects them. Why? Why?

(38:15):
Because in verse 22 we see, All in whose nostrils
was the breath of the Spirit of life, all that
was on the dry land, died. So he destroyed all
living things which were on the face of the ground,
both man and cattle, creeping thing and bird of the air.
They were destroyed from the earth. Only Noah and those

(38:36):
who were with him in the ark remained alive. And
the waters prevailed on the earth one hundred and fifty days.
150 days is approximately five months. That's how long that
they are sealed in that ark and it took for

(38:56):
God to.

Speaker 1 (38:58):
Cleanse the earth.

Speaker 2 (39:02):
The flood was his response to the persistent wickedness, especially
the violence, the injustice, and the breakdown of the intended
design of his creation. I mean, human corruption, moral decay
was described as what?

Speaker 1 (39:23):
Pervasive? Is it that way today? The violence... says the
earth was filled with violence.

Speaker 2 (39:31):
What do you think? Are we like that? Are we
filled with violence? It said he felt divine grief. He
was saddened by humanity's condition. You know what that shows me?
It shows me he didn't take pleasure in judgment. He
was saddened by it. He was sad that he had

(39:52):
to do it because he longed for a righteous relationship
with his children. And I feel every time I get
these warnings from the Lord and every time he shows
me these things, there's a sadness. There's a righteous anger.
And I know I'm not the only one getting these warnings.

(40:15):
I know I'm not the only one who heard the
word batten down the hatchets. But I'm not here for clicks.
I'm not here to make money from doing this. If
God wants to bless me, he'll do that. I don't promote.
I don't advertise. The Holy Spirit is my advertisement. Those

(40:36):
who want to bless me and bless what we do
will do so. I'm not going to pander to it.
I'm not going to preach to it. And I'm not
going to prophesy to it. The flood shows us several
theological points that we see in his word. One, God

(41:02):
opposes violence and corruption. Two, that God warns before he
brings judgment. Three, that God provides a way of escape,
and this time he did it through Noah. And then four,

(41:25):
God preserves for future renewal. That phrase, every inclination of
the human heart, it's one of the strongest statements in
the flood narrative.

Speaker 1 (41:42):
You know why?

Speaker 2 (41:43):
Because it describes an inward condition, not just external actions.
In other words, what it's telling us is that the
problem wasn't limited to a few bad seeds. No, it
was a deep-seeded corruption of the human heart, the human will,

(42:08):
and the human imagination. And every time I think I've
been shocked and can't be shocked any further, I see,
like we did with this recent trial, that there are
millions of people that think it's okay for a mother
to forcefully, premeditatedly strangle her children. And so we went

(42:34):
from killing children in the womb to killing them at birth.
Now we can kill them at any time we want to.
And I'm going to tell you right here and right now,
if there's anything that seriously offends the Lord and gets
his attention, is hurting one of his little ones. So

(42:57):
just when I think we can't top ourselves, we do.
But we have hope. Because Noah has shown us a pattern.
And here's why his obedience matters. He listened to divine instruction. See,

(43:19):
during these times, you better listen to the Word. You
better understand what you hear. You better apply the word.
Noah prepared before the judgment arrived. You can't prepare afterwards.
It's too late. Now is the time to prepare naturally

(43:41):
and spiritually, mentally and physically. Noah became a vessel of preservation.
You are a vessel of preservation to your family and
to those that know you. And also, finally, that through you,

(44:05):
as he did Noah, he will launch a renewal in
your home, in your family, in your friends all around you.
That's what we as the church are called to do.
And I'm going to tell you right now, God will

(44:25):
respond to evil. He may not do it when you
want him to or as you want him to, but
he will respond. He will preserve a remnant for himself.
And he will establish a future through his covenant relationship

(44:47):
with them. With Noah, the covenant symbol was the rainbow.
And isn't it just typical of the enemy to co-opt
a symbol of God's covenant with man to something.

Speaker 1 (45:03):
That is ungodly?

Speaker 2 (45:06):
So as we think about this, as we think about
this storm warning, as we hear all the story about
Noah and Genesis and the flood, We better understand judgment
is real. The Bible says so. It has shown it

(45:28):
to us. It has prophesied about it. Judgment is real.
He treats sin and violence and corruption and debauchery seriously.
But just as real as judgment, his mercy is real.
His mercy is new every morning. Great is his faithfulness

(45:48):
God preserves and he offers a future. I deserved to
be judged for what I did. But he offered me
mercy and he offered me a future. Obedience matters. See,

(46:10):
Noah's response is an example of a model of faith.
That's why he's one of the heroes of faith. In
Hebrews 11. Obedience matters. It doesn't matter if you understand why.
It doesn't matter if you understand what.

Speaker 1 (46:28):
It just matters that you do it. Be obedient. Creation.

Speaker 2 (46:36):
His creation matters. Every week you hear me talk about
the innocence both in.

Speaker 1 (46:41):
And out of the womb. Both animal and human. I grieve.

Speaker 2 (46:46):
For what we do to his creation. I go between
the fact of. Judge them Lord to have mercy on
us Lord. To knowing his heart. He is grieved by
how we treat his creation. So the story. Isn't just
about the fate of the earth. It's the fate of individuals.

(47:11):
And I look at his animals. How they have suffered.

Speaker 1 (47:15):
For man's.

Speaker 2 (47:17):
Man's failures, man's evil. And I long for the day
that that stops. And his covenant matters. When he makes
a covenant, he doesn't break it. God has given us
promises that shape the end of the story. We have promises.

(47:45):
that shaped the end of our story. He flooded the
earth as a response to the pervasive evil and corruption
among humanity, and through the covenant of the rainbow said,
I would never flood the whole earth again, but we
know according to Revelation, the next time it'll be with fire.
And not as some have prophesied, oh, mankind and weapons

(48:08):
and nuclear, no, he doesn't need all that. He's got
enough volcanoes he could do it with. He can do
it from the sky. He can do it however he
wants to do it and make sure we know that
he did it. And it will happen. The firmament will melt.

(48:30):
The flood is a severe, very severe, but structured narrative.
Corruption leads to judgment. Faithfulness leads to preservation. Covenant leads
to renewal. This is why I'm so adamant about you
being born again, your name being written in the Lamb's
book of life, that you being in the kingdom of God.

(48:53):
Because without that, you're in the kingdom of darkness and
the kingdom of this world, and you are subject to
his judgment. God gave mercy. He made a commitment to
his creation. And he did it through the church. Now

(49:14):
hear what I'm about to say. The ark was what?
A vessel of salvation to rescue. his remnant from the
judgment the world deserved. I believe the church is his ark.
And if you are a part of his church, he
will snatch you out of here before that judgment begins.

(49:40):
The church is his vessel of salvation to the world.
And that's why what we do is so important. That's
why for me, every day, the word, the prayer, the intercession,
the time spending with the Lord, these things that I'm
sharing with you that he has shared with me is

(50:01):
about offering an ark to the people, a rescue. You
don't have to go through what is coming. You don't
have to participate in the judgment. There is a way out. Noah,
an example of obedience, righteousness, preparation and faithfulness in a

(50:25):
time of extreme corruption. Psalm 147 verse 11 tells me,
The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him, in
those who hope in his mercy.

Speaker 1 (50:39):
That's me.

Speaker 2 (50:41):
I know he loves me and I love him but
I also know who he is so I have an
awesome reverence of fear of him and I hope in
his mercy. To hope in God is to stand in
awe of him. In awe of his power with the
confidence that God is as good as his word. He
will faithfully perform his word.

Speaker 1 (51:06):
So hope.

Speaker 2 (51:09):
Becomes trust in the righteous character of God. Proverbs 4.23 says,
Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it
spring the issues of life. Start each day saying, Lord,
guard my heart. Cleanse my heart. Remove from me anything

(51:33):
that is not of you. Anything that would lead me
in the wrong direction. So in the middle of this
storm warning, in the middle of this time, we could
easily just go right back to Matthew 24, starting with

(51:53):
verse 4. Be careful that no one misleads you, deceiving
you and leading you into error. For many will come
in my name, misusing it, appropriating the strength of the
name which belongs to me, saying, I am the Messiah,
the Anointed, and they will mislead many. You will continually

(52:16):
hear wars and rumors of wars. See that you are
not frightened. For these things must take place. But that
is not the end of the age. For nation will
rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. And there will
be famines and earthquakes in various places. But all these
are merely the beginning of the birth pangs, of the

(52:38):
intolerable anguish. in the time of unprecedented trouble. In the
time of unprecedented trouble. Then they will hand you over
to endure tribulation and will put you to death, and
you will be hated by all nations because of my name.

(52:59):
At that time, many will be offended and repelled by
their association with me and will fall away from the
one whom they should trust. and will betray one another,
handing over believers to their persecutors, and will hate one another.
Many false prophets will appear and mislead many, because lawlessness

(53:20):
is increased. The love of most people will grow cold,
but the one who endures and bears up under suffering
to the end shall be saved. This good news of
the kingdom, the gospel, will be preached throughout The whole
world has a testimony to all nations. And then the

(53:41):
end of the age will come. And what's going to
happen at the end of the age? Revelation 21, 4.
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. And
there will no longer be death. For there will no
longer be sorrow and anguish or crying or pain. For
the former order of things has passed away. So his warning,

(54:06):
batten down the hatches. It's a reminder of the importance
of preparedness and resilience. I'm not going to tell you
how to prepare. You pray and you do it accordingly
with what he tells you. But do what he says.
For the storm has come and is getting worse. So

(54:31):
you place the canvas over the doorways and the openings
and you fasten them with strips of wood. the canvas,
the word, the shield about us, that he is in

(54:51):
the glory of the lifter of our head and the
wood of the cross. That's what protects you in this storm.
That's what seals everything shut. That's what covers you up
and keeps you safe in the midst of a Of
a raging sea or wind. A hurricane of torment and trouble.

Speaker 1 (55:18):
All around the world.

Speaker 2 (55:19):
The earthquakes. The volcanoes. The storms. The violence. The murders.
The debauchery. It's raging. But we're safe. We're sealed in.
We're protected. So let's approach. the challenges of this life.

(55:42):
Let's be prepared, not unprepared. Let's stand against deception and
lawlessness and spiritual coldness and the distractions of this world.
Let's do it as a kingdom of God effort. Guarding

(56:06):
our hearts. enduring faithfully, proclaiming the good news, the gospel,
and placing our hope in God's mercy. I believe that
if we do that, we'll be prepared, we'll be resilient,

(56:29):
we'll be balanced and standing upon the promises of God,
And we will see salvation. We will see hope. We
will see healing. We will see restoration, renewal, and a future.
So Father, Abba, thank you for allowing me to give

(56:53):
this word. Thank you, Lord, for allowing me to share
with your children what you've shared with me. I pray
every eye is opened, every ear has heard And every
heart has received what you have for them. How this
applies to them. How they can apply it. And I pray, Lord,

(57:18):
the word would go out to encourage many of your
children that are fearful right now. They're afraid. They're beaten down.
They're overwhelmed by some calamity or tragedy or some storm
surrounding them. I pray for them right now and I

(57:40):
say to the storm, peace, be still. I pray for calm.
I pray for your spirit to envelop them. Reveal your
word to them. Let them feel your love in their
hearts and your arms wrapped around them. Actually, Lord, that'd

(58:02):
be kind of nice for all of us right now.

Speaker 1 (58:06):
We want to be close to you, Lord. As the
deer pants for the.

Speaker 2 (58:11):
Water, so our soul pants after you. I thank you
for this. I speak it. I believe it. And I
say amen to it. And if you agree with me,
say amen. Batten down the hatches. Storm warning has been given.

(58:40):
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord,
may Adonai make his face to shine upon you and
be gracious to you. May the Lord, Adonai, Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus,
the Messiah, lift up his countenance upon you and give

(59:01):
you peace, give you shalom. I'm Richard Grund. This has
